Introductions and Reunions

Spider's Sanctuary Upper East Side New York City New York United States of America July 31st 2005 Summer Morning.

Sitting in a comfortable chair was Evangeline. She was next to a wary and sleepy Harry who couldn't quite believe his eyes.

"How do you know me, how did I get here" Harry asked in one breath

"Our godfather Sirius sent me to rescue you from your Aunt and Uncle's house in the United Kingdom" she replied "they're dead and Dudley's in a military school" Harry opened his mouth to ask the obvious question "you really don't want to know what happened to them" she said with finality in her tone. "Rescuing you was my priority, I do not know why I was kept from you for all these years but I swear on my life that nothing will keep us apart again" Harry blinked at the utter conviction from her voice. "I am also your sister," she said.

"You lie," Harry said, "if this is some sick joke to get my hopes up about having a family that actually gives a damn about me other than Sirius."

"It's true" the Dogfather himself confirmed "Evangeline really is your sibling, she was actually sent after me for the bounty on my head made by the British Ministry of Magic"

"I believe it was something like five million Galleons" Evangeline said "last year I was in the United Kingdom doing some work for the American government when I came across said bounty completely by accident"

"Your sister is somebody I would not want as my enemy" Sirius said, "I've seen many things in my life, there really is nobody like Evangeline on the planet"

"What are you talking about?" Harry asked "all I see is a teenage girl with long black hair and the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen"

"Show him" Sirius said, stepping backwards and to the side, Harry was staring at Evangeline, she opened her mouth revealing to him that she had fangs..

"The hell?" he blurted out, scrambling away from her in horror. Emerald eyes frantically looking for an escape. Retracting her fangs the young hybrid held him down.

"Don't try to run, I can track anyone once I have their scent besides you still have a long way to go in recovery even though you've made an incredible start so far. Nurse Nightingale has a lot of work rebuilding your body, my venom has helped kickstart that by first removing the infamous scar on your forehead which I believe was a piece of Voldemort's soul otherwise known as a Horcrux, you were unintentionally made one you also had numerous blocking and tracking spells on you combined with loyalty potions tied to the Weasley's, it's a wonder you were functioning" Evangeline explained "all of the potions have been neutralized, however the tracking and blocking spells have not as I need your permission to do that and it will be very painful so you'll need to be anesthetized as breaking spells that have been apart of you for so long will cause you to lose control of your magic" after a pause to think Harry silently nodded.

Spider's Sanctuary August 2nd 2005 Early Evening

For nearly three days Evangeline, Sirius and Nurse Nightingale along with a few others broke through each of Harry's bindings, the anger building inside the elder Potter sibling combined with the guilt made her want to physically throw up violently, then go on a murder spree, breaking the bindings on her brother's magical core got her so angry that she had to go and drink a bloodbag to calm the vampiric side of her. Harry stirred, opening his now glowing emerald eyes, he automatically reached for his glasses and when he put them on his vision blurred "Huh" the ebony locked young man said thoughtfully. He got up and went to the bathroom after carefully locking the door he pulled off the t-shirt he was wearing, it was then that he saw himself reflected in the mirror.

"Holy shit" he swore as he checked out his lean and ripped torso "wow, I look good" then he turned on the shower and had himself a very hot shower for like an hour. Walking back into the ward he paused, feeling a presence closeby.

"Fuck" cursed Evangeline under her breath as she got an eyeful of her younger brother's new and improved body "I was not expecting that this morning, I came by to check on you and well all I can say is the girls at your school are going to need beating off with a big stick, or the boys if you're into that." Harry's face promptly went red, his sister had the ghost of a smirk on the corner of her luscious blood-red lips "When you're done getting ready come upstairs to the penthouse where our Dogfather is waiting" Evangeline turned on her heel and walked away, with a slight sway in her hips, Harry blinked not sure if his mind was playing tricks on him but nonetheless he finished getting ready. As the elevator doors opened, the smell of food had Harry's mouth salivating he followed automatically where he found Evangeline and Sirius sitting at the kitchen island the white marble counter covered with various breakfast foods, juices of all different kinds was there including Evangeline's personal favourite of cherry and strawberry and never melt ice to keep it cold no matter what. Harry was unsure that he should join in and remained standing watching enviously.

"I can hear your stomach rumbling, Harry," Sirius said. "Nobody's going to take this away from you. With your sister's venom running through your system increasing your metabolism means that you will require alot more sustenance."

"This reminds me of Hogwarts feasts when I could eat regularly" Harry began as he started piling his plate with food, then froze as if he uttered a bad word "forget I said anything."

"You are not at fault for what they did to you" Sirius said "the time will come for when they pay for their crimes against the Potter and Black families. Some of that retribution has already been served, thanks to your sister."

"Petunia and Vernon are dead, their son is in military school of which I am paying for" Evangeline said, Harry opened his mouth to reply but paused as his sister wasn't finished speaking "Dudley was just following his despicable parents example, that doesn't excuse what he did at all but now that he's free of their questionable influence he might make something of himself but that is on him."

"Eat Harry" Sirius said " you need the energy for the day ahead."

"Why?" Harry asked

"Well you need new clothing, you're borrowing some of mine at the moment" Sirius replied.

"I suppose that makes sense" Harry agreed, but frowned when he realized there was something missing "where's Hedwig?"

"When I found you, there were a few snowy white feathers dotted around and an empty birdcage on the rickety old desk near the bed. If it could be called that upon which you were lying on, what you did was only out of desperation."

"No" Harry gasped horror-struck " please tell me I didn't kill my owl" as his eyes filled with tears, he got up and fled down the passage way towards his sister's bedroom however the door wouldn't open so he sat down with his face hidden behind shaking hands as the young man sobbed his heart out. Evangeline joined him and without saying a word she placed his head against her shoulder, not caring if his tears soaked her t-shirt.

"She was my greatest friend, the only companion I had in that house to keep me going while the date for school to start approached" Harry said through his tears. "It isn't fair that we were kept apart for so long. The only way I'll go back to Hogwarts is if you're there as my personal bodyguard."

Evangeline nodded her agreement "we're family so this is pro bono but you have to let me to my job my way"

"What do you mean by that?" Harry asked cautiously

"Your enemies depending on who they are must die" responded the vampire hybrid her blue eyes glittering in the shadowed passageway "I kill people Harry, it is the only way to make sure an enemy doesn't come after you"

"Explain Dudley then?" he countered

"He only did what he did, and by no means am I excusing his behavior, to avoid being possibly abused by his parents although in a way he was" was her reply.

"I don't want you killing people though," Harry protested "no matter how badly they'd deserve it" he added.

"No can do Harry" his deadly and gorgeous sister answered "despite my youth I am at least ten years older than my given age mostly due to the fact that I spent a long time under a time-loop training and honing my skills until I became the most lethal woman in the world, my work paid for all of this, including the medical bay in which you were in for the past three days. I'm also the richest woman in America. If the government has a problem I'm the one they call to solve it. My reputation as Spider has preceded me on many occasion and rightly so, I can get in and out of any building in the world so long as I have the blueprints to said location, I could get into your school right now and kill that fool of a headmaster Albus Dumbledore thanks to your memories"

"So you know that I'm a marked man, if you want me to go then I will" Harry stated he was about to get up when a sudden vice-grip on his wrist gave the young man pause.

"Which part of I'm not going anywhere did you not understand" Evangeline retorted "when I make a promise, I keep it and there is nothing that could make me break my word. Another thing little brother that we are going to do is get you trained up in not just magic but also unarmed combat and firearms, I'm not going to teach you to duel, what I'll do is make it so that you win no matter what the situation is, I know that you've fought against Voldemort multiple times and escaped each encounter by the skin of your teeth. The next time you and the egomaniacal noseless and bald-headed sociopathic murderer cross paths he'll be the one limping away in terror."

"What makes you so sure that will happen?" Harry asked dubiously

"I've spent my entire life fighting against scum like that 'cause at the time I had nobody to fight for, it was just something I did to give me something to do, but that I've got you and Sirius in my life I'll have a reason to defend my family" she paused before taking a deep breath "part of my skillset allows me to see who is in fact dead and those who are not"

"What are you saying?"

"Our mother is buried alive in the one place neither of us have gone to as of yet"

"Are you serious" Harry responded then his eyes widened hastily added "no don't you even dare say it" at the confused stare he got "the serious Sirius pun that the Dogfather makes at every opportunity"

"Making jokes, baby brother isn't in my repertoire" Evangeline said, her tone as dry as the Nevada desert. "Anyway we've got things to do especially as you're staying here for the foreseeable future"

North London United Kingdom Evening

Auror First Class Nymphadora Tonks was sitting in the North London Tavern nursing a twelve year old whiskey on the rocks whilst not as potent as Firewhiskey it was enough to give her a pleasant buzz,, her mind replaying the single encounter with Spider and how she couldn't get the blue-eyed goddess out of her mind, Tonks couldn't shake the feeling that something was going on involving Harry and from what she saw of the young man he was in a terrible state she hoped that he was finally getting some help. Joining the Order of the Phoenix wasn't as exciting as she'd been led to believe most of the time was spent on gathering intelligence from rather dubious sources including that slimeball Severus Snape, the mere thought of the git had the young woman's skin crawling with disgust only Dumbledore's word kept the murderer out of magic restraining cuffs and in a solitary cell inside the Ministry of Magic, the Chief Warlock refused to allow his organization to go out on raids of Death Eater locations as he believed that those pathetic wastes of space deserve redemption over the lives of innocents. Tonks shook her head to clear it, then steeling her nerves she paid for her drink and returned home. When she got back to her humble abode immediately heading to her bedroom and behind a securely wardeed area was a black badge, the shape of a golden phoenix embossed on the front. Packing a bag for a few days Tonks left her flat intent on looking for the woman called Spider.

Eight hours later she landed at John F. Kennedy Airport then took a taxi to the world famous Times Square from there her search would begin.

At approximately the same time Evangeline and Harry had just left the tower and were walking through Central Park, the young man was looking around nervously as if expecting to wake up and find himself back at Number Four. Sensing her brother's distracted state the young vampire

"If anyone comes for you and they try to attack my tower they will find themselves imprisoned in the rarely used cells beneath the tower and then they will face my retribution" she said pausing as her nose picked up a familiar scent, dragging her brother over towards a food stand selling freshly made pretzels she bought three and gave Harry one who accepted gratefully hungry again despite having a huge breakfast. Evangeline cast a warming charm over a third before putting it in a pocket of her black trenchcoat, Harry was staring at the article of clothing curiously.

"Why do you always wear that?"

"This has saved my life on many occasion as it is directly tied to my personal and expansive armory at home, no matter where I am in the world I can access it as long as I've got this with me, it's tied to my body signature so anybody who uses it that isn't me will die a very painful death" her voice a cautious tone to which Harry nodded believing her and taking the unspoken warning far more seriously than the ones given by the Headmaster to the students of Hogwarts that practically dared the young untrained magicals to go exploring and find themselves in dangerous situations such as the fiasco's of the Philosopher's Stone, the Chamber of Secrets, the Dementors and lastly the Triwizard Tournament that resulted in the resurrection of the self styled Lord Voldemort and caused the death of Cedric Diggory. Eventually the duo did get to TImes Square, Harry's mouth fell open at the iconic Statue of Liberty that he'd never seen before in person, the only time he caught glimpses of the world famous statue was when he stole glances at the television whilst being worked like a slave at Number the wonder in his eyes made Evangeline's heart break a little silently vowing to make this the absolute best summer of his life. Taking a taxi to Broadway it was there that she noticed that they were being followed leading the oblivious Harry into a dead-end alley, with a flick of the wrist a small razor-sharp throwing dagger appeared from beneath the sleeve of her black trenchcoat. A few steps behind Tonks followed her quarry not realizing that she was being led into a trap.

"Why are you following us Tonks?" Evangeline growled "yes I know who you are" at the other women's wide eyed stare "I've had your scent since the day I rescued Harry who is going nowhere with you. Speak or die, the choice is yours" the other woman flinched as she felt cold steel press against her throat, the unspoken threat loud and clear.

"Who is she?" Harry asked curiously, breaking the staredown Evangeline was in the midst of.

"Her/My name is Nymphadora Tonks, Auror First Class" the twomen answered in unison "and works for the British Ministry of Magic" immediately Harry's eyes scanned the area looking for more potential threats. "There's nobody else around aside from her" his sister said "believe me I'd know and it would be very painful for them" Tonks involuntarily shuddered at the warning in the blue-eyed goddess's tone" grateful for the fact that nobody back in England knew that she's here.

"After seeing you in such a state, I went home and spent about a day thinking over what it was to be in the Order of the Phoenix an organization meant to be the counterpart to the Death Eaters but really ineffective as according to Dumbledore the leader we're only allowed to react on spotty intelligence from his pet Death Eater Snape and often it's too late we're given orders to incapacitate not kill the black robed and white masked murderers, I personally suspect Snape in over two dozen Order members deaths including those of your parents Lord James and Lady Lily. Anyone who has dared disagree with the greasy git has ended up with Death Eaters raiding their homes. My own boss has lost pretty much her entire family aside from a niece I believe is in your year but in my old House at Hogwarts"

"That's all well and good but it doesn't explain why you are here" Evangeline interrupted

"I was getting to that" Tonks replied calmly "Dumbledore has also refused to act on the fact that my cousin Sirius Black is innocent of the supposed betrayal of his best friends and I have reason to believe that out of guilt he killed himself"

"Wrong" Harry said "our godfather is very much alive"

"What, I need to see him immediately"

"So you can alert your superiors to his location and apprehend, then chuck him back into Azkaban" Harry growled emerald eyes flashing eerily.

"Be calm brother, I would never allow that to happen '' soothed Evangeline, ignoring Tonks scoff of disbelief "you have no idea just how dangerous I actually am and I dare the British Ministry to try anything including extraditing an American citizen. Lord Black has been here for over a year under my protection and I will kill anyone who dares fuck with his recovery. As for our mother being dead she isn't" removing the blade from Tonks's throat "I'm going to make you an offer you shouldn't refuse and that is quit the Aurors and come work for me as Harry's bodyguard and later on I'll allow you to take on my appearance in order to make your job easier as an added bonus the money you make will be triple your current salary plus you'll be living in my tower the most secure place ever, even more so than Hogwarts.'

Tonks stared "how did you even know what I am without being told?"

"Believe it or not but you are not the first Metamorphmagi I've encountered in the last decade" Evangeline answered. "My offer ends when I leave this alley so what is it going to be?"

"What exactly would my job be?" Tonks asked

"Protecting Harry when I'm off on business, there are very bad people out in the world who would love to kidnap my brother for nefarious means and it's up to me to make certain that never happens"

"I'm in then" Tonks said "the corruption back home makes me physically ill plus all the men in the department see me as an object rather than see me for my accomplishments. I admit that on occasion that my temper has gotten out of hand I am working on that but it's difficult to keep a level head when your colleagues want you not for your intelligence but for your body and the fact that you can become literally anyone based on the adult-sized human skeleton." Harry was silent listening to the twenty-eight year old woman vent her frustration at the whole situation.

"I'll send a letter to my soon to be former boss this evening along with my badge" she added subconsciously changing her hair from blonde back to her trademark bubblegum pink and her eyes returned to their usual glowing purple. Evangeline didn't even blink when that happened, Harry however starred in surprise.

"That's cool," he said "though from what you've said it does have some drawbacks"

"Too right Harry" Tonks agreed it was then she noticed the barely visible scar on his forehead

"My venom removed it" Evangeline answered "I'm the only vampire-witch hybrid in the world that I know of and like you there are drawbacks to my powers but that is a discussion for another time." Tonks nodded, accepting the brief explanation for what it was but knew that more would be forthcoming eventually.

"One more thing I just wanted to say" Harry spoke up "my sister rescuing me is the greatest thing anyone has ever done for me and without her I would not be here and yes I know you feel guilty about not being there for me when it mattered but you are now, my road to recovery is looking better each and every day if I could dispense with the disgusting potions then it would be perfect yes I know it's for my own good but really though" he shuddered thought there was a ghost of a smile on his lips, Evangeline noticed and it pleased her to know that's something he'd picked up.

The newly formed trio went about their day getting the things that Harry sorely needed including a new haircut that now showed off his unblemished forehead to all, Sirius was slightly surprised to see Tonks with his godchildren but once he'd been informed that she wasn't there to arrest him he relaxed. Harry slumped face-down exhausted on the dark almost blood red L-shaped couch.

"Remind me to never go shopping with those two absolute demons again" he mumbled into the soft cushions simultaneously waving his hand in the two ladies general direction , Evangeline's eyebrow rose in amusement at her brother's muffled proclamation, Tonks shook her head though there was a smirk on the edge of her soft pink lips.

"Pick a room Tonks and I will be by later" Evangeline said "everything aside from the taken rooms, my armory, the medical floor for obvious reasons and blood vault are open to you"

"Blood Vault?" questioned the now former British Auror and newly appointed second bodyguard for the Potter Scion.

"It's the only place that can heal me if on the off chance I'm severely wounded and it's when I'm at my most dangerous to be around" answered Evangeline, she reached out a hand and in a moment another ice-cold bloodbag appeared, piercing the corner with her razor-sharp fangs she took a long draught after wiping the corners of her mouth she continued "apologies but being around crowds of humans for as long as I did today is very irresponsible of me but my brother was and remains more important than my bloodlust" Sirius opened his mouth "don't start Dogfather, you didn't see Harry when I took him to see the Statue of Liberty or Times Square or walk down Broadway, the solemn expression he wore when we passed the Ground Zero memorial the way his fist clenched at the number of the dead that fateful day changing history yet again, I may be a Brit but I'm also as American as you can get. If I hadn't killed them already you can best believe that Spider would pay Vernon and Petunia a visit" Potter turned to glance at the wide eyed elder woman "I can literally hear the thoughts in your head Tonks so spit it out already"

"You're that Spider killer wreaking havoc across the world, you know there's a price on your head from the Death Eaters" Tonks exclaimed "they want you dead just as bad as Harry."

Evangeline laughed but it was without any shred of warmth "good, it's beyond time they knew what true fear is and as for that murderous half-blood cunt Tom Marvolo Riddle, I'll deal with him soon enough or rather my brother will kill the megalomaniacal noseless bastard." Harry was blissfully passed out, lightly snoring and so didn't hear what was being said.

"Kill him, don't you mean imprisoned" Tonks asked settling into nearby armchair

"Tom Riddle is responsible for over two hundred and fifty murders and ordered at least three hundred more" Evangeline "death is the only solution and my mind is made up, nothing can be done to change it, Riddle is a threat not just to the magical world but also the mundane world"

"What are you talking about?" Sirius asked

"Tell me do you know anything about the First or Second World War or the mass genocide by a man called Adolf Hitler?" and Black's negative reply "I suggest you go down to the library and read up on everything you can then. Take as long as you need" Sirius nodded.

"Just so you know oh wonderful Dogfather, that git Snivellus is going to die screaming for his part in my parent's demise and for the abuse he's given my brother for absolutely no reason" here Black cracked a broad grin and he nodded.

Much later that night when the two men were safely in bed Evangeline went and knocked on Tonks's door waiting for a reply which was duly given, lying on the bed.

"I'm giving you permission to use my shape to help keep my brother safe when I have to be away on business" the blue eyed woman said " but be warned that if I find you using my looks to seduce him I will rip your throat out and beat you to death with it" Tonks nodded rapidly understanding the threat for what it was.

"You are also the first person to see me completely naked" Evangeline said as her hands undid the belt keeping the dressing gown closed, it was pooled at her feet Tonks stared at the naked woman from her obsidian hair, soft blood red lips, the pale flawless skin, perfectly large and soft breasts, her toned stomach to the wide hips her puffy pink pussy and gorgeous arse. The pink haired woman memorized every detail mouth as dry as the desert and her heart thudding like a bass drum.

"Breathe Tonks your thudding heart is distracting me" Evangeline said as she swallowed the mouthful of saliva.

"Distracting you" spluttered the other woman incredulity in her tone "since the day you had your hand on my throat you've never left my mind and then earlier today when I was on my knees, steel blade against my throat I felt the same exhilarating rush again, there's no other way to deny it, you excite me." Before Evangeline could say anything, Tonks's lips crashed into hers effectively silencing the hybrid.
