The State Verses Derek Morgan-Ch 78

The BAU family grew larger and larger with each new addition Fran loved each and every minute of it, Sarah and Anderson soon because the proud parents of a son named Maxwell less than year after they got married. Desi and Luke also welcomed a son named Marcus, he was a spitfire like his momma which both thrilled and terrified Luke at the same time but he loved his little family and wouldn't take anything for it.

JJ and Reid welcomed a son named Michael and when Henry was 9 they welcomed their third and final child a little girl named Raychel, she was such a beautiful little girl, she looked like both of her parents and couldn't have been loved or wanted more. Emily and Hotch welcomed a daughter named Delia Elaine, she was a surprise, they hadn't been trying for another child but when they were on stand down for almost a month the Hotchners went out of town for a week and the results of which gave Fran the beautiful Delia to spoil rotten.

Shane and Tasha had gotten married not long after getting engaged and they decided to wait a few years before trying to have a baby and when they had been married 3 years Tasha announced that she was pregnant, later that year she gave birth to a daughter named Shanda, she was a beautiful dark haired child and looked so much like her father that they couldn't believe it.

Mia and Connor dated for a few months, got engaged, lived together for almost a year before they got married, they were oh so happy and now the parents of twins Curtis and Carrie who although a handful were still a true blessing to the proud parents. Connor and Mia were still doing the same job they had done for years, they loved their jobs and felt no need for a career change, their lives flowed good this way so this way they would stay.

James and his girlfriend got married and are the proud parents of a daughter named Serenity Grace, she was the perfect combination of her mother and her father and was loved oh so much. They moved to Virginia and James got a job with a huge firm, Mia's actually and they were so happy that they had agreed to more home so that they could be closer to their BAU family.

Derek and Penelope welcomed a son when Olivia was 3 and his name was Hank Spencer Morgan he was Derek's mini me and Penelope took great pleasure in calling him her mini hotstuff. At first they had decided that two children were enough for them but after a surprise get away with the family to Hawaii when Olivia was 5 the result was Jasmine MaKayla Morgan, aka Jazzy.

Derek and Penelope's life was now as close to perfect as they ever dared to hope for, especially after everything they had been put through with Robert, Robin and Charles but the best revenge that Derek and Penelope could have gotten on them was their happiness and pride in life.

Robert and Charles had only served 4 years in prison when they were killed in an attempted escape and Robin made it almost 8 years before she too died at the hands of guards when she like her brother and cousin with a failed escape attempt. Life was moving on and day by day the BAU family enjoyed life to the fullest, they took every opportunity to spend time together as a family.

In the summer the entire family would head up to the Rossi cabin in the mountains for 2 weeks and then they would be together for Thanksgiving and Christmas every year, they loved spending time together, especially holidays. Penelope and Derek had never been happier in their lives, they had jobs they loved, an amazing support system in their family and they had each other.

After almost losing each other thanks to Robert, Robin and Charles they jumped at the chance to be together and know that without a shadow of a doubt that they are the luckiest people in the world to get a second chance at love and spending the rest of their lives together.
