Entering a Whole New World
Back at Stan's house, Sharon, Shiela, Lianne, and Carol were sitting in the dining room, drinking lemonade while Shelly was on the couch, texting; and Ike and Karen were watching television when Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny came bursting into the house through the door.
"Boys, what's gotten into you?!" asked Sharon. Cartman runs to Liane.
"Mom! Pokemon! So cool!" exclaimed Cartman.
"Calm down, poopsikins." said Liane. The boys took deep breaths before Stan walks quickly over to his mother.
"Mom; did you know about there being these super cool creatures here in Galar?!" asked Stan.
"You mean Pokemon?" replied Sharon, surprising the boys.
"Wait; you know about Pokemon?" asked Stan.
"Yes." said Shiela. "We see them all the time around Motostoke."
"And I work as a receptionist at the stadium there where they do Pokemon battles all the time." said Liane.
"You all knew about Pokemon and you didn't tell us?" asked Kyle.
"We didn't think you boys would be interested." said Carol.
"Of course we would've been interested, Mom!" exclaimed Kenny.
"Well, you boys would've learned about them sooner if you all just left the houses once in a while." said Shiela.
"You got us there." said Kyle.
"We heard from a couple boys there's a school in Motostoke where kids can learn about Pokemon." said Stan.
"Do you think we can attend it and become super cool Pokemon trainers, please?" asked Kenny. The moms look at each other, then back at the boys.
"You all really want to be Pokemon trainers?" asked Sharon.
"Would you rather have me growing and selling marijuana like Dad did?" asked Stan.
"Well, that settles that." said Sharon. "If you want to be Pokemon trainers, then it's okay with us. It'd be than having you follow in your father's footsteps."
"Hooray!" cheered the boys.
"It'll be a chance to meet new people and make new friends." said Shiela.
"And get the turd and his friends out of my hair." said Shelly.
"Tomorrow, we'll take you with us to Motostoke to get you all enrolled at the Pokemon School." said Liane.
"Sweet!" said Stan. The next day, the boys and their mothers get on the train at Wedgehurst Station, and start heading to Motostoke. While the boys were enjoying the train ride, they look down into a large open area where they saw all kinds of Pokemon.
"Wow!" said Stan as he sees a large, navy blue Pokemon with catlike ears (Snorlax). "Look at the size of that Pokemon!"
"Yeah, it's fatter than Cartman." said Kyle.
"Yeah...HEY!" exclaimed Cartman. The boys continued to marvel at all the Pokemon in the area until they arrived at Motostoke City. Once the train stopped and the doors opened, the boys and their mothers exited the train. Half an hour later, they exited the Pokemon School.
"Okay, boys, you're now enrolled in the school." said Sharon.
"Now you boys have to work hard if you want to be Pokemon trainers." said Shiela.
"We will!" the boys say in unison.
"And I want you to make something better of yourself than your father." said Carol.
"She speaks for all of us." said Sharon as she remembers her ex-husband.
"How could I do worse than my dad?" asked Stan.
"Fair point." said Sharon.
The next month were busy for the boys. They put all their effort into learning everything about Pokemon that they could. They made several new friends as well. The most notable one was a boy named Hop. He had dark skin, purple hair, wore a blue, fur-rimmed jacket over a black T-shirt, black pants, and black, white, and purple sneakers. What interested the boys most about him was that he was the fact that he was the brother of the reigning Galar League champion, Leon.
Also, during the month, the boys saved up their allowances, so they'd have some funds for when they eventually start their Pokemon journeys.
One day, while the boys were watching a Pokemon battle on TV, they were going what they've seen and did over the last month.
"I'm really liking it here in Galar." said Stan.
"Yeah, dude. It's a lot better than South Park." said Kyle.
"It makes South Park seem like a toxic waste dump." said Cartman.
"A toxic waste dump would be a big step up from living there." said Kenny.
"Yeah." said Stan. That night at dinner, Stan, Sharon, and Shelly were having dinner.
"So, I heard that Leon is coming here to visit Hop." said Sharon.
"Yeah, it's gonna be so cool." said Stan.
"Leon's not that great." said Shelly.
"Says someone who has lots of posters of him on her bedroom wall." said Stan, making Shelly look away with a blush.
"Don't be embarrased, Shelly." said Sharon. "Leon is a fine man. I'd choose him over your father."
"You'd choose that Mephisto guy over Dad." said Stan.
"True." said Sharon.
"Hop said that Leon's bringing some Pokemon for us." said Stan.
"Well, that's nice of him to do so." said Sharon. "It'll make getting started on your Pokemon journeys a lot easier." After everyone ate, and cleaned their dishes; Stan brushes his teeth, then hops into bed. As he lays in it, looking up at the ceiling, he was excited at the thought of starting his Pokemon journey.
'I can't wait for tomorrow to get here.' Stan thought to himself. 'I wonder what kind of Pokemon that Leon will bring?' A few minutes later, Stan falls asleep.
At the Broflovski residence, Kyle was in his bedroom at his desk, reading about Pokemon abilities. He looks at his clock and saw it was getting late. He turns off his desk lamp and walks to his bed. He was about to climb into it when he hears some light knocking at his door. He walks to his door and opens it to see his little brother, Ike, standing out in the hallway.
"Ike? What's wrong?" asked Kyle.
"You going away?" asked Ike.
"Not forever; I'll come visit now and then." said Kyle.
"Promise?" asked Ike.
"I promise." said Kyle. He grabs Ike's hand and leads him to his bed. They both climb into and get comfortable. "You can spend the night with me tonight."
"Yay!" said Ike. Soon, the two of them fall asleep.
At Cartman's house, he was in his bed, squirming around in his sleep.
"Hippies...Hippies all around me." said Cartman. "PIKACHU! THUNDER SHOCK THOSE HIPPIES!" A minute later, a smile forms on his face.
At the McCormick residence, Kenny was in the bedroom he was sharing with his sister, Karen.
"Kenny?" says Karen.
"Yeah, Karen?" replied Kenny.
"Will you be okay on your Pokemon journey?" asked Karen.
"I'll make sure to be careful." said Kenny.
"Umm. Do you think you can catch me a cute Pokemon?" asked Karen.
"I'll keep my eyes open for one that I know that you'll like." said Kenny.
"Thanks, Kenny." said Karen. With that, the two fall right to sleep.
The next morning, Stan gets up and heads downstairs where breakfast was just set out on the dining room table.
"Morning, Stan." said Sharon.
"Morning, Mom." said Stan as he and the rest of the family sits down.
"So, today's the day?" asked Sharon as she sips on some coffee.
"Yeah." said Stan as he grabs a slice of toast. "Hopefully me and my friends will get Pokemon."
"Me, too; that way you'll all leave and give me some peace and quiet." said Shelly as she drinks some orange juice.
"I'll miss you too, Shelly." said Stan with an eyeroll.
"Whatever, turd." said Shelly. After breakfast, Stan helps clean the dishes, then goes up to shower and take care of his teeth. He just got done and was almost done getting dressed when he hears the doorbell ring.
"Stan, it's your friends." said Sharon.
"I'll be right there, Mom." said Stan as he puts on his backpack. He rushes to the front door and opens it, showing his friends waiting on the front porch.
"Hey, Stan." said Kyle. Everyone decided to get new outfits for their journey.
Stan was wearing a black skull cap with a white pokeball design on it, along with a navy-blue T-shirt with a white pokeball symbol on it, black jeans and shoes, and a red backpack.
Kyle still wore his regular ushanka, but he now wore an orange T-shirt with green sleeves and a green outline of a pokeball on the front, green cargo pants, orange and green fingerless gloves, black shoes, and a blue, one strapped backpack with a white pokeball symbol on it.
Kenny wore an orange hoodie with a black pokeball design on it, over a white T-shirt, black jeans and shoes, and a black backpack.
Cartman wore a red, long-sleeved shirt with a white pokeball design on it, beige pants, black shoes, and a yellow backpack.
"Lookin' good, guys." said Stan.
"Thanks, dude." said Kyle. Just then, Hop came running over to them.
"Hey, guys!" said Hop.
"What's up, Hop?" asked Kyle. Just then, Sharon steps out of the house, just as the other boys' mothers show up with their hands behind their backs.
"Before you boys go, we have something for you." said Sharon.
"What?" asked Stan. The moms each pull out a small, wrapped box, and hand them to their respective sons.
"A little 'congratulations for passing Pokemon School' presents." said Shiela. The boys look at each other and tore off the wrapping paper; they then open the small boxes, revealing Rotom Phones.
"Rotom Phones!" said the boys in unison. Stan had a blue Rotom Phone, Kyle had a green Rotom Phone, Cartman had a yellow Rotom Phone, and Kenny had a black Rotom Phone.
"And just so you know, we've uploaded pokedex apps on your phones." said Sharon.
"Whoa, cool!" said Kyle.
"Thanks, everyone." said Stan. The moms smile in response. Just then, Hop runs over to them.
"Hey, Hop. What's up?" asked Kenny.
"My brother's gonna arrive at the station soon." said Hop. Stan and the others look at each other.
"Let's go, guys." said Cartman. Hop runs to the direction of the train station while Stan and his friends followed after him.
