It had been awhile since Elsa had been shot but recovered and at the same time, her and Bruno found out they were not having one baby, but three. When Elsa was strong enough to move out of bed, she immediately wanted to help around Casita, Bruno allowed her to do so but nothing too difficult. Elsa had a feeling that the last 2 months of waiting for the triplets to be born was going to be anything but dull.

And so it was. While she and Bruno did have small moments of being alone together, just them and their unborn babies, there was lots of other moments where Elsa wanted to do more hard-working chores but Bruno would not let her. At first, she thought it was sweet but then she started to find it a little annoying. She knew it was only because Bruno didn't want stress to be placed on her and the babies, he meant well, but Elsa wanted to do more. As time passed and passed, Elsa learned to go along with Bruno's cautious behavior, she loved him that much.

When Alma's funeral had arrived, Elsa and Bruno did not want to attend but then after doing some thinking, they had decided to go. They had come to realize that even though Alma had tried to take their love away from each other, even their lives, Bruno still remembered how she used to be when he was a child and growing up. There were good memories still embedded in his mind.

As the family gathered at the burial, Elsa and Bruno had drowned out all that the priest was saying, they had kept staring at Alma's tombstone, nothing but coldness but also hurt and slight shame in their eyes. They hated her and always would but deep down into their souls...they also...loved her...even though it sickened them to admit it.

Elsa had felt the babies moving. She looked at Bruno then had gently grabbed his hand and placed it onto her belly. Feeling their babies kicking, Bruno's eyes had softened. Bruno had wrapped his arm around Elsa while rubbing her belly. Then they looked back at the tombstone. Alma was gone, they wouldn't have to fear for their lives or their babies anymore, they needed to remember that.

Afternoon had soon become nighttime. Dolores had let them have her room officially while she had chosen to become roommates with Luisa. Bruno was grateful for this since Dolores's bed was huge and comfortable for the two of them, especially for Elsa.

Bruno and Elsa had just finished having sex. It wasn't much since Elsa was heavily pregnant but it was still enough for them to at least help them want to sleep. While their nude bodies were close together, Bruno was resting his head against Elsa's shoulder, nuzzled against her neck, kissing it gently, as Elsa sighed contentedly. Bruno had lowered down to kiss Elsa's breasts while she had stroked his hair. Bruno had then propped himself up against his pillow then touched Elsa's cheek, frowning in concern.

"I hope I did not hurt you or our babies, mi vida." Bruno whispered.

"No. Don't worry. You didn't get anywhere near my belly and you were also very gentle towards me...Like you always are." Elsa said, smiling at Bruno lovingly.

Bruno gave a small sigh of relief then he looked down at Elsa's belly and gently placed his hand against it. Since Elsa's belly was exposed, Bruno could not only feel their babies moving inside of his wife but could also see it. He loved to watch Elsa's belly give a jolt, signifying that one of the babies just kicked.

After focusing on the triplets kicking and moving, Bruno had then laid his head against Elsa's belly, continuing to stroke it affectionately.

"Papa's here, mi querida bebes. Papa loves you." Bruno cooed to Elsa's belly.

Bruno kissed Elsa's belly, his kisses soft and gentle as usual. Elsa giggled at the sensation but then she watched Bruno bonding with their babies. Elsa had stroked Bruno's hair as he continued trailing kisses against her swelled-up skin. Elsa smiled at her husband then shook her head amicably.

"You're becoming obsessed with my belly, sweetie." Elsa pointed out, chuckling.

"Que?" Bruno asked, looking over at Elsa.

"I said you're becoming obsessed with my belly lately, silly."

Bruno had also chuckled then he had moved up towards Elsa then had kissed her forehead then lips then leaned his head against hers, nuzzling his nose against her tumbled down hair.

"How can I not? You look so beautiful while pregnant, like a goddess that deserves to be worshipped, and it still amazes me that three small babies, our three babies are growing inside of there. Feeling them moving, it...it just makes me feel better know that they are alive...how close we came to losing them..." Bruno trailed off, voice beginning to break.

Elsa looked at Bruno then she had touched his cheek then made him face her so that she could place a soft loving kiss against his lips. After pulling away, she then kissed the tip of Bruno's nose.

"Dear, you don't have to be afraid of nothing happening to me or our triplets anymore." Elsa said, quietly.

"But something could still go wrong."

"Like what?"

Bruno sighed then he kissed Elsa's forehead then he had placed his hand onto her belly and rubbed it then he looked back up at Elsa, frowning, eyes full of concern.

"I never told you this before, carino, but my M'ma had nearly died while giving birth to me, Pepa and Julieta."

"What?"

"At first, she had a healthy pregnancy like you now, but when the time nearly came for us to enter this world, my M'ma had become very sick and there were many complications during the labor. My M'ma told us how worried our Papa had been, how helpless, he didn't know what to do. Just when it seemed M'ma was going to die, we had been born. M'ma had lived but knowing she was barely clinging to life before that...I don't want the same thing to happen to you, mi amor." Bruno said, shaking his head.

Bruno looked down. Elsa stared at him as he looked down at her belly worriedly. Elsa gazed at him sadly then she touched his cheek causing him to look at her.

"Bruno. Look at me. Trust me. Me and the babies are going to be alright. If it will make you feel at ease, I will have the doctor examine me nonstop." Elsa said.

Bruno looked at Elsa's belly then at her then he nodded slowly. Elsa smiled a little then she kissed Bruno then he smiled back. Bruno kissed Elsa's cheek then he had rubbed her belly gently as the babies moved against his palm.

"They are so energetic." Bruno chuckled.

"They're definitely lively." Elsa giggled.

Bruno had laid his head against Elsa's belly then continued caressing the swell, then he looked up at Elsa, now smiling fully.

"I've been thinking about something."

"Oh, did it hurt?" Elsa joked.

"Very funny. But what I've been thinking about is baby names."

"Baby names?"

"Our triplets are gonna need names, carino."

"I know but it's strange...since I've been thinking the exact same thing."

Bruno and Elsa laughed then the rest of the night was filled with them suggesting names for the triplets until sleep had eventually claimed them. While Bruno slept holding his wife close, Elsa was awake. She had found the perfect name in case one of their triplets was a girl. She would tell Bruno...when she felt ready.
