On the other chopper, Nikolai and Laswell were circling around the giant BOW terrorizing Al Mazrah.
"All stations, I have a visual on the target. Be advised, I'm bringing the rain over" said Kate.
"Rog. Watch yourself Kate" said Price.
"Nikolai get us closer, need to paint the target."
Nikolai takes the two of them closer as she grabs a laser pointer target for the AC-130.
"Hunnigan, marking the target now" said Kate.
Hunnigan then calls for the AC-130 to enter the airspace of Al Mazrah.
"Ground team this Papa Eagle ready for your word over" said the pilot.
"Papa Eagle this is Watcher-1, we have a massive Bio Organic Weapon on the ground causing havoc against civilians. We need to take it down and contain this ourbreak." said Laswell.
"Copy Watcher-1 we are getting a visual, standby" said Papa Eagle.
Papa Eagle then gets a live feed from the ground seeing the laser targeting the BOW.
"Papa Eagle to Watcher-1 we are confirming visual now. suggest your team get clear over"
"Copy. All stations get clear of the airspace. Friendly AC-130 in the AO" said Kate.
"Weapons systems online sir" said the AC-130 gunner
"Fire up the 105mm" said Papa Eagle.
The first shot was fired onto the BOW, hurting it.
"Firing 40mm"
The BOW raised its hand trying to shield itself from the cannon fire.
"Switching to 25mm"
The rotary canon rained down lead from above as the BOW was kneeling on one knee.
"Need to reload" said the gunner.
"Watcher-1 to Papa Eagle, the target is still standing." said Laswell.
"Our guns need to reload. standby" said Papa Eagle.
"Copy, All Stations, we need to hammer this thing until the AC-130 can make another round." said Kate.
Back on the Hound Wolf chopper,
"Someone take the minigun!" said Chris.
"Gaz, you're up!" said Price.
Gaz then mans the minigun in position.
"Got it, keep it steady!"
Chris begins a strafing run with Gaz raining lead on the creature.
"Sir! All guns reloaded and ready for another run"
"Papa Eagle to Watcher-1 we are making another run"
"Pull back!" orders Kate to ground team.
"Firing 105mm"
Another round fired onto the giant BOW as it starts to weaken
"Firing 40mm"
"Bastard's getting weaker!" said Price.
"Firing 25mm"
The giant starts to weaken further unknowingly knocking down ground team's chopper.
"FUCK! We're hit, WE'RE HIT!" said Chris.
"Papa Eagle cease fire!" said Laswell.
"Copy that Watcher-1 we are cease firing" said Papa Eagle.
"Captain? Do you read? John? JOHN?"
"*cough* We're alright." said Price.
"John you and the others need to get out of there now! Infected are surrounding you on your position" said Laswell.
"Rog"
The team quickly scatter out the chopper and take on the undead closing in on them.
"Any more ideas?" asked Leon.
"We're sitting ducks if we stay here. We need to scatter and find another way to set the bastard up for the final shot" said Price.
Claire then sees a lone motorcycle in the distance ahead.
"I got an idea. Gaz? We have any leftover C4?"
"Yeah? Wait you can't be serious?" asked Gaz
"Yep." said Claire.
"Fuckin hell" said Gaz
"Claire? What the hell are you doing?" asked Chris.
Claire was planting the remaining C4 on the motorcycle as she gets on. She revs up the engine and rides straight to the monster. As she gets close enough, she jumps off and aims her gun at the bike.
"Hasta Luego"
Claire shoots the bike causing the BOW to get stunned more.
"Papa Eagle to Watcher-1, we suggest your ground team gets clear now over"
"Watcher-1 to Papa Eagle, copy that. Ground team, GET CLEAR NOW!"
Everyone heads for cover as the AC-130 above finishes the BOW off.
"Firing the 105mm"
The final shot was able to create a big hole on the BOW sending the giant mass falling down taking bits of building with it.
"All stations. BOW Z-KIA" said Price.
"Solid Copy. Be advised we are pulling out. Incoming payload hitting the AO"
"Payload?" asked Jill.
"Hunnigan?" asked Laswell.
"I'm on it." said Hunnigan frantically trying to figure out.
"It's the vaccine"
The vaccine arrives via airdrop. The Nova6 counter drug was able to reverse the effects of the infection as the remaining returned to normal. As the team ceased firing, the civilians looked only dazed and confused. Everyone could breathe a sigh of relief.
"Vaccine works" said Soap.
"That's Rebecca Chambers for ya." said Leon.
"We still have one problem, daylight is coming up fast" said Ghost.
"We can all thank Rebecca later. Laswell, Hunnigan, sit rep on the nuke" said Price.
"On it! said Hunnigan tracking the nuke.
She gets a lock on as it is prepping to reach Al Mazrah.
"It's closing in fast!" said Hunnigan.
"Anything you can do on your end?" asked Laswell.
"I'm working on trying to override it" said Hunnigan trying to bypass clearance and authorization.
"EVERYONE GET CLEAR NOW!" shouts Price as the team desperately in an effort to get civilians to safety.
Hunnigan continues to do her best to stop the nuke sadly to not enough time.
"Shit!" said Hunnigan
"Soap? Can you stop the missile?" asked Price.
"I'll do my best sir!" said Soap.
"Laswell.." said Price
"WAIT!" Hunnigan cuts him off.
"Someone else just diverted the nuke."
Hunnigan then reads something on screen.
Call it a favor. We'll be in touch soon. All of you. - SB
"Hunnigan. We got something else going on" said Price.
She then pulls up the live feed of the nuke being diverted up into space.
"The hell?" she asked.
The team then see the nuke go off on the sky as the crisis was averted.
"Jesus Christ" said Ghost.
"Guess we got someone watching over us" said Jill.
"All stations. Threat is contained. Requesting a clean up crew" said Price.
"A team is arriving now. Head to the marked evac zone." said Hunnigan.
"Rog. Bravo 6 out"
As the sun rises, the team all arrive at the evac zone as they all waited with the sunrise.
"Well then. Let's not do that again" said Price.
"Looks like you saved the free world again Captain Price." said Farah.
"No. We all did." said Price.
"You know what I learned from all this?" Leon asked.
"What's that?" Rebecca asked.
"Konni Group sucks" said Leon
"So does Makarov" said Claire.
"And this Op." adds Chris.
"Speaking of Makarov..." said Jill.
"He's still out there." Said Laswell.
"This is far from over. We aren't done with him" said Price.
"If you want, we can help you" said Chris.
"Appreciate that mate, but this is our fight from here on out. But...We'll call you if we need you. All of you" said Price.
"Hell of a few days huh boss?" asked Gaz.
"More than I'd like" said Rebecca.
"That makes two of us" said Alejandro.
"Least we stopped a zombie apocalypse" adds Alex.
"Bucket list career goal?" asked Leon.
"Maybe" said Alex.
Everyone shares a well deserved laugh as the aircrafts arrive in Al Mazrah.
However, some of these aircraft looked different as they were leading the charge.
"The hell is that?" asked Leon.
"The bloody circus is in town" said Ghost.
"What do mean?" asked Chris.
"The real heroes" said Price.
The aircrafts leading the charge had a giant A on them.
