Chapter 1: Interrogation.

El and Kay were in Hilda's office, sitting on two chairs. Hilda sat at her desk while Eva stood beside her.

"First of all, thank you for saving Eva, my deputy and best friend." She began, sporting a benevolent smile.

"However, I'd be curious to know where you came from. You are not our students, and I have never seen you on board until yesterday. Our last stop on land was Istanbul, from which we sailed three days ago ... That's where you come from, right? " She asked.

Neither El nor Kay replied: the first because she feared she would not be believed if she said she was from the future; the second because she was looking at the furniture in the room. It consisted of an oak desk, with a laptop on it (turned off at that time) and a telephone, some paintings (among which one of Frederick the Great) and some framed photos on the walls, some of which portrayed Hilda in the company of her companions (Eva, Himmler or Göring), her parents, her grandfather or some VIPs. Behind Hilda stood a window from which the sea could be see.

"I asked you a question." The latter said, not hiding her irritation at being ignored.

"Yup. We sneaked in. " Kay replied hastily, earning a surprised look from El.

"For what purpose? Are you by any chance spies of Kemal? "

"They don't look Turkish to me ..." Eva intervened.

"True ... Besides, their names are one English and the other Spanish."

"They would be nicknames." El was keen to clarify.

"In that case out your names, the real ones!" Hilda intimated to them.

"My name is Scarlett Johnson." Kay replied.

"I'm Gloria Navarro." El said.

"Scarlett and Gloria ... Nationality?"

"English."

"Spanish."

"English and Spanish ... What were you doing in Istanbul?"

"We were on vacation."

"Why did you sneak aboard?"

"We wanted ... To join you!"

Hilda looked at them puzzled.

"Join us?" She asked.

"That's right ... The Black Sun has the strongest sensha-do team in Europe, if not the world. We are avid fans of yours, and have long wanted to be part of it. El explained.

"Why make you live only now? And where were you hiding? "

"Around the ship. There is a lot of space to hide."

"I understand ... But you didn't answer the first question."

"Here ..." El just didn't know what to say.

Kay came to her rescue:

"Well, since you are a prestigious school, we didn't know if you would welcome us or not. We feared your refusal. "

"We are a prestigious school, not an aristocratic one. Every student, regardless of nationality or whether she is rich or poor, is welcome among us. " Hilda stated.

In fact, however, only girls with a rich family can afford access to this school.

Eva thought.

"Have you attended other floating schools in the past?"

"I was on El Alamein."

"And I on Roncesvalles."

El Alamein and Roncesvalles ...

Hilda thought.

"Your families?"

"Just us."

"What would it be like only you? Don't you have parents or relatives? "

"Yes, but for them we are still in Istanbul."

"You are two unconscious! Abandon your loved ones and your schools like that! everyone will be worried about you at this time! " The dark-haired girl scolded her.

"If we hadn't done it you would now be dead." Kay replied.

"Please admit us to the school!" El begged.

Hilda was suddenly suspicious. There was something wrong with that matter ...

"You want to join the school to be part of the Panzer-fahren team ..."

"Yes, Hilda."

The girl snorted.

"Since you have smuggled aboard, and without the consent of your families, I should ship you back to Istanbul, or some other port on the Black Sea."

"Please don't!" Kay exclaimed.

"To welcome the new students, first of all the consent of the parents or of some relatives is needed. Then they must undergo medical, psychological, and linguistic examinations (in the case of foreign students). If they cannot speak German or at least English we cannot accept them. We do this to avoid recruiting sick, crazy or otherwise violent subjects. "

"Furthermore, the consent of the entire student council is required, otherwise nothing is done." Eva added.

Damn…

Kay mentally cursed.

"We saved Eva ..." She said.

"And I am grateful to you. But I can't welcome you to school, not like that on the spot, not under these conditions. However ... "

"However?" El asked.

"Let's do this: talk to Göring and Himmler. If you manage to convince them, we could welcome you to the school as guests, to give you time to convince your parents to give their consent and take the various exams. If you have what it takes you will become our students. So, do you agree?"

Kay and El looked each other in the eye, distressed. Even if they had convinced Hilda's two deputies and passed the entrance exams, they could never have had the consent of their parents, who were in Japan, with Kay and El at that time. They were an anomaly, they shouldn't have been there, and they didn't know how to go back to the future, that is, to their present. Despite this they both nodded.

"Very well… Eva, call a car for these two. You stay here, we need to have a chat. "

"Ja, Hilda!" Eva replied.

"Ah, one last thing ..."

Having said this, Hilda reached for her cell phone and took a picture of the two girls.

"A small security measure." She just said.

Eva, for her part, put her hand on the phone, dialed a number, remained on hold and then said:

"Hilda needs a car in front of the school entrance."

"..."

"We have two possible new students, but first we need the consent of the council, in addition to the classic routine exams. You tell the driver this. "

"Ok, in a quarter of an hour?"

"..."

"Agree."

She hung up and turned to Kay and El:

"In exactly 15 minutes a car will come to pick you up. Get ready. "

The two students nodded.
