The only good thing Alex could say about whatever it was that happened to her, and Kara was that at least the guy that looked like, but she could tell distinctly wants Hank Henshaw her Dad's boss had let her out of the medical like wing and shown her the way to the underground gym once she'd been cleared by the doctor looking after her.

"There's also a pool if you'd like to use that." The Henshaw not Henshaw guy says conversationally around the same time Alex herself and remembered she'd already asked her mom for permission to surf after she'd finished checking over Kara's history report for her.

A pool the teenager was most definitely going to take advantage of as she waited both for her still sleeping sister to wake the heck up and for that not so unattractive looking cop that had been sitting at Alex's bedside when she'd woken the first time to finish talking with the Henshaw not Henshaw guy.

Maggie, she thinks her name was. A nice name.

With a sigh the teenager did a quick change into the more youth-sized swimsuit she'd found rummaging in the locker room as the tantalizing scent of chlorine tickles her nose doing her best to push thoughts of that Maggie woman out of her head. Much like the times, she caught herself thinking about Viki in the weeks since she'd first decided to push her only friend left at school away.

Easier said than done apparently considering when she opened the locker already marked with a handy 'A. Danvers' she finds it already holding a set of stashed away clothes, as well as a proudly hanging picture of Maggie, taped to the inside of the door.

Well, that was to say the picture was of Maggie and an older blonde that had she known better Alex would swear to be a more grown-up version of her own adopted sister. Maggie seems to be sitting on the older Kara's lap much to Alex's annoyance as she scrutinizes the did cool some of the teenager's annoyance when she notices the darker-haired woman looking more than a little buzzed whilst the blonde looks flustered and blush as if she'd just been pulled into a not unwelcomed but definitely unplanned kiss.

Kind of like the time Kara had been talked into playing spin the bottle and ended up having what Alex knew to be her first public yet second ever kiss with the boy her little sister was crushing on.

Alex quickly shut the thought of Kenney down considering not long after that little incident her kind of friend had been murdered by the town sheriff. Thankfully as her musty gaze returns to the now blurred image of the two-woman smiling at her another memory starts replying in her head downing out the sadness of Kenny's untimely death.

"Hey Baby, smile pretty."

The phantom voice plays in her head the longer the teenager looks at the image along with the remembered click of a camera before the voice in her head adds a laughed "and you just made out with the wrong Danvers sister, Mags but how about you hand over that railroad you picked up a few turns ago and I'll call it even?" as Alex spots the corner of a Monopoly game just visible in one corner as the pair grin like goofs at the camera.

And if anyone were to ask Alex would flatly deny her heart flipping in her chest at the mere sight of that warm, happy, and alcoholic lased smile and those cute dimples as the Maggie in the picture grinned out at her as she shakes the voice as those warm fuzzy feeling out of her head as she puts away her own clothes in the already occupied locker.

She'd also deny she'd stashed the picture in between the folded halves of her tee-shirt before slamming the locker closed and headed out towards the pool.

She could at least get in a lap or two before Kara woke up she reasons wading into the shallower end of the pool.

Safe to say she'd rather go out and surf, but she wasn't about to push her luck by asking as instead of starting off actually swimming Alex and spotted a diving platform at the deeper end of the Olympically envious sized pool.

It happened almost as soon as she'd hit the water after a sleek dive from the platform.

No way out.

The water rising too fast. It's up to her waist now. So cold. So fast.

"Hang on, you hear me, Danvers. Hang on till we find you."

Maggie.

No way out.

"Alex!?"

She can hear her name being called from outside the confines of the swimming pool as she continues thrashing around trying to free herself from the trap of her own mind but as hard as she tried Alex can't free herself enough to call back.

"Alex!?" the voice yelled again.

Catching her breath hurts. Every other breath is tainted with chilly water as the water level keeps rising around her.

Too fast.

"Hold on till we find you, Danvers."

A grounding grip on her thrashing arms and a hard pull back up towards the hazy shine of the overhead lights pulls the terrified teenager out of the title wave of memories she both knew all too well yet were also so foreign to her she couldn't tell which scared her more as she gulped in another gasped lung full of breath as she was dragged back towards the side of the swimming pool.

"K—Kar?" Alex spluttered reluctant to let go of her savior's grounding arm keeping her from slipping under the water once more. Even when a newer warmer set of arms wrapped around her promptly hulled her up out of the chilly waters as another figure knelt to offer a hand to Alex's true require.

"Didn't think I'd find you here." The dark-haired woman accuses catching her breath as she pushed her waterlogged hair from her eyes.

"Yeah, uh I…" Alex starts to say more than a little flustered now as she watches the cute cop pushing herself up against the edge of the pool.

"It's alright." Maggie promises tossing her waterlogged shirt away from a little way away from the panting group leaving the shorter of the two adults' top half clade in a wet black tank top along with her soggy jeans and boots.

"You're my keeper, huh?" Alex asks from her pillowed place against Kara's shoulder.

Maggie's face wrinkled at the question but she nodes in conformation anyway still leaning against Lena's strong side as more water dropped heavily from her clothes. "I'm also apparently still your emergency contact at the major city hospitals." She says as if changing the subject as Lena's hand rubbed against her arm trying to warm her back up after the quick dip of the chilly pool.

Alex's heart flips once again at the husky timbre of the older woman's voice but once again she punches those feelings back and clears her throat to answer. "I don't remember doing it but seems so." The teenager shrugs off snuggling more against Kara's warmth.

Maggie's lips twitch in the start of a smile at that. "Going soft on me, Danvers?"

"No."

The sound of the teenager's denial only has another start of a smile gracing Maggie's lips as well as Lena's but this time neither woman says nothing other than a sighed "Sure, you aren't." from Lena.

"I already told the others I don't remember how Kar and I got in that warehouse they pulled us from." Alex defends her teeth still chattering as Kara's arms tighten gently around her shuddering shoulders. "it's like we woke up and boom, we're somehow in the future with you and that Lena woman sitting at our bedsides like we're soldiers come back from the war, not teenagers who just got a little banged up when a warehouse decided to fall in around us."

Maggie shifts uncomfortably at the reminder of the reason she'd been called back to the bedside of the woman who'd so recently broken her already fragile heart.

"Let's get you two dry and warmed back up." Lena decided her eyes locked now on the still shaking Alex like Maggie was as the cop was helped to her feet.

J'onn was already waiting by the locker room door also looking worried after the two teenagers shuffling past him.

"Seems there are some memories, not even alien-induced age regression can block out." He muses typing the comment on the tablet he was carrying to be sure not to be overheard by the teenaged superpowered younger sister of the retreating pair back into the locker room.

"I'm already dreading what will set Kara off." Lena whispered sadly her arms still wrapped in a comforting friendly way around the chilly Maggie's shoulders.

"Vaz said the last of whatever it was that was used on them have been brought in." J'onn says actually speaking in a low voice this time signaling Kara was listening in as J'onn offers Maggie a warmed towel. "In twisted pieces."

"Good thing I like puzzles." Lena muses pulling Maggie along with her this time leaving J'onn to stand guard over the two teenagers that were his adopted daughters.
