"I'm sorry for his behavior, Lady- I mean... Marinette," Iida told her as he gave her a sincere bow, "I'll take care of it myself."
Marinette halted everyone in the room before any of them could check up on him. A sweat drop fell down on her forehead as she looked up at the room he had entered.
"Act-Actually... if you don't mind, I'd like to take care of it," Marinette told them as she headed up the stairs, "Besides... this is my room."
"What?!" Pretty much the entire class yelled out in unison.
"Now I really should go up there with you!" Iida told them, but was interrupted by the heroine, "As Class Rep. of this class, I need to take care of my classmates!"
Marinette saw a lot of herself in him considering he was the Class Representative of their class. But she still wanted to take care of this by herself. She couldn't let anyone else see pictures of Adrien Agreste in her room!
"Thank you for that, but let me take care of this. I'm Ladybug after all."
Marinette finally made her way up to her bedroom and looked around for the green haired boy. She soon spotted him by her sink, splashing some water in his face. It looked like something was bothering him, so she stepped inside quietly trying not to scare him off.
"Um, hey..."
Midoriya still jumped and almost stumbled over his own feet. His face was still red from embarrassment, but Marinette couldn't help laugh a little.
"I-I'm sorry, but this totally reminds of... you know what, never mind that," Marinette said as she noticed he clearly wasn't in the mood.
"Wa-Wait a minute..." Midoriya muttered, and then something had clicked, "I'm in your room?!"
His head was even redder than it was before he entered. She could swear she saw steam coming off his head.
"Come on, why don't we head up to the balcony?" Marinette asked him, "You look like you could use fresh air, Deku."
He nodded and followed her up a ladder. The moment he spotted her bed, he almost lost it and launched himself up to the balcony. But he let the heroine go first.
She opened up the door and let him come up for some fresh air. It was almost noon, so the streets were busy with people going to work, taking their kids to the park and a couple people jogging with earphones in their ears.
The view was stunning, and Midoriya forgot about the fact that he was just in a girl's bedroom. Not only that, but on her bed.
"Wow," Midoriya mumbled as he and Marinette walked up to the railings. He couldn't look away.
Midoriya and Marinette just stood by the railings for awhile, taking in the scenery. A cool breeze blew through their hair, Midoriya almost letting out a moan in front of a girl. And not just any girl, it was Ladybug!
"I have a feeling there's something you want to tell me," Marinette said to him before he could, "Not as Marinette, but as Ladybug."
"Act-Actually, yes," Midoriya told her as he straightened up his posture, "You gave me your phone number, so I left you a message on your phone. Did you get it?"
"No I haven't. I didn't have time to transform into Ladybug this morning."
"Transform?"
"You know what..." Marinette said and then opened her bag. Something red with big eyes was peeking out of her bag. "Tikki, you can come out now. Deku's a friend."
"Really? Are you sure, Marinette?" The red creature told her as she eyed Midoriya.
Midoriya tried to get a closer look at it and couldn't tell what it was exactly. Whatever it was, it was Marinette's friend.
"Yes, I'm sure. I gave him my phone number as Ladybug after all."
"This is the guy you told me about?" Tikki said as she flew out of the bag and straight for Midoriya's face.
He almost ran for the door, but stopped himself and stared at the red creature for a moment. It looked almost like a ladybug, but with a much larger head and big, purple eyes.
"Wh-Who? Wha-What're you?!" Midoriya asked it.
"Shhh," Tikki said as she put her little, stubby hand onto Midoriya's mouth, "You've gotta keep quiet, Deku. You've exposed to everyone that my holder is Ladybug. No one else can know."
Midoriya didn't say anything and instead nodded until she removed her hand away from his mouth.
"My name is Tikki, and I'm a Kwami," She told him, "I'm what gives Ladybug her superpowers."
"Yo-You give her superpowers?" Midoriya asked, trying not to cry out loud.
"You know what, let me just show you," Marinette told him as she prepared herself, "Tikki, Spots on!"
Marinette flipped her hair to show off her earrings. Tikki suddenly swirled into them, and transformed the black earrings into red and black spotted earrings. A pink glow emitted from her hands as she swiped her hand over her face as a mask appeared out of thin air and circled around her entire body, transforming into Ladybug.
Midoriya couldn't believe what he was seeing. It was like something out of a comic book that he never thought would be possible. His green eyes sparkled with fascination as she stood there looking like the most powerful hero he'd ever seen, besides AllMight of course. In a way, kind of reminded him of AllMight, considering Tikki gave her superpowers in the first place.
Once the pink glow faded away, something about it reminded him of what happened back on the bus. There was a pink glow and... a green glow?
"La-Ladybug? Holy Whoa!" Midoriya cried out, but quickly covered his mouth, "So-Sorry, I knew it was you. It-It's just... wow! That was amazing!"
"Really? You think so?" Marinette asked him, twirling her hair in embarrassment.
"Of course! This is amazing! I never thought quirks could be stored in a Miraculous like that! That's crazy!"
"You mentioned quirks downstairs. What's that all about?" Marinette asked him.
"Oh... Yeah, well it's something we call superpowers back in Japan, but the thing is... everyone should know about it, even here... so..."
"What? Seriously?! I've never heard of such a thing," She told him, completely stunned.
"Bu-But, that's impossible! There's no way! Unless..." Midoriya trailed off as he thought about the bus ride, "Back on the bus when we were heading over to the airport, there was a disturbance. We all thought it was a villain attack. But once I saw that pink glow just now..."
Midoriya trailed off once again, Marinette putting her hand on his shoulder for support.
"Deku, what is it? You can tell me."
"La-Ladybug, did you have something to do with us being transported to Paris?" Midoriya asked her with a serious look on his face that she didn't expect.
Marinette's blue eyes grew wide as she quickly took her hand off of his shoulder and backed away real slowly. She looked a little distraught. Grabbing her yo-yo from her waist, she opened it, which surprised Midoriya, and she looked through her messages. There was only one. She listened to it for a few minutes, and all she could do was stare at Midoriya quite astoundingly.
"Ti-Tikki, Spots off..."
Ladybug detransformed in front of Midoriya and back into her regular clothes, holding Tikki in the palm of her hands. She looked at her tiny friend with worry and looked back up Midoriya with the same look of amazement.
"Ma..." Tikki let out a barf of bubbles, which Midoriya tilted his head in confusion, "My holder, what's wrong?"
"Tikki, I need you to go get Plagg."
In Adrien's Bedroom...
Plagg laid on Adrien's bed with a pile of camembert laying beside him. He ate a heaping pile of it like it was nobody's business. There's only one other person in the room and that was his holder of the Black Cat Miraculous.
Adrien Agreste.
Adrien was playing the piano rather quietly, just practicing for awhile. Plagg noticed that he'd been going at it for the passed few hours. He didn't want to bother him, so he let him be. That is, until he slammed the keys a little too hard.
"Adrien?" Plagg looked over and saw him a little worried. He had been worried about something, and Plagg was never one to get into people's privacy, unless it involved camembert of course. Today though, he grabbed a piece of his cheese and gave it to Adrien. He made sure not to scare him away.
"Adrien," He said as his holder raised his head to look at him, "Is there something bothering you? Is it Ladybug again? Or maybe..."
"Actually, it's about those heroes in training from Japan," Adrien told him.
Plagg was surprised for once. This time, it wasn't Ladybug. It was those foreigners from Japan. They didn't stand out to him much, expect for three of them for some strange reason. The green haired one, the one with red and white hair and the spiky, blond hair.
"They just, I don't know. It's so cool that they're here, but something about them feels different... strange... I don't know. Maybe it's all just in my head," Adrien told him as he played a couple notes on the piano.
Plagg couldn't believe it. He was feeling the same way as his holder.
"Adrien," Plagg said as he sat on his palms of his hands, "I can't believe I'm saying this, but--"
"Plagg!" A familiar voice rang out through Plagg's ears. He and Adrien turned towards his open window to find Ladybug's Kwami, Tikki flying into his bedroom. Adrien didn't think he'd be seeing Ladybug's Kwami today, let alone in his bedroom.
"Sugarcube!" Plagg flew over to his long time friend and tried to give her a big hug, but for some reason, she stopped him. She looked like she didn't come here for silly banter. There was something in her purple eyes that made Plagg float away from her just a tad.
"Tikki, what's wrong?" Plagg asked her, not even looking back at his camembert.
"It's my holder. We need to talk."
Another great chapter! Midoriya and Ladybug are up to something.
More coming soon!
