Here is chapter four of Episode Lucifer. This is going to be where Hercules/Chariot Master's backstory takes place since he told Pit about it in chapter nineteen. And much like other backstories, this chapter makes it more extended on how Lucifer got his hands on Hercules' Heavenly Chariot in the first place and how he ended up in the Overworld. You'll see more along the way. Anyway, you already know the disclaimer, so sit back and enjoy!

Episode Lucifer Chapter 4: A God in the Overworld

Music playing: Wastes - Safe Zone (A.K.A. Inside Palutena's Temple (Episode Lucifer Version))

Inside the dining area of Palutena's temple, Lucifer was sitting down on a chair, banging his fists on the table in fury. "DAMN IT! DAMN IT! DAMN IT! DAMN IT!" he yelled. "I was so close to kill Gaia once and for all! I may have gotten the weapons I need to eliminate Gaia, but there is a fucking barrier blocking my way from reaching her!" "Look, Lucifer. There's nothing we can do to break down the barrier," said Palutena, who was with Lucifer and listening to his enraged tantrum. "I think you shouldn't really go after Gaia at all. You know you could-" But before she could continue, Lucifer stared at the Goddess of Light with glowing red eyes. "I refuse to admit defeat! There HAS to be a way to take it down!" he yelled and got up from his chair and left the room. Along the way, he entered the hallway and saw an unusual room. "Hmm? What is that?" he wondered as he opened the door. Inside was a lot of cabinets filled with file documents. This made Lucifer's eyes widen in shock to see what was inside. Palutena has secrets inside this room? he thought to himself. I wonder what I should read first. He then opened up a cabinet and picked up a document file. Inside were a bunch of notes written on it. He read through them carefully. As he read the document, a flashback began.

"I'm sorry, Phosphora, but I have other things to take care of," said a muscular man, who was talking to a younger girl who's her sister, Phosphora. "It's okay, Hercules," Phosphora replied to the muscular man now known as her brother, Hercules. "I'm sure you'll find the perfect home to live in. But we're really going to miss you." She walked up to her brother and hugged him gently. Hercules hugged his sister back with a sad smile on his face. "It's okay, sis. I'm going to be okay," he said. "Just keep yourself and our father safe and sound in the Thunder Cloud Temple." "I'm sure we will, son," said a new voice. Walking up to the siblings is their father, Zeus, the God of Thunder, who had a smile on his face. "You and your sister have learned the electric element, so I'm more than certain that you can use your powers protect yourself from future threats," he continued. "But should you need some more help, Palutena is on her way with a very special surprise." This made Hercules and Phosphora's eyes widen in disbelief. "What is this surprise she's going to bring me," Hercules asked. "Why it's right here for you, Hercules," said a new voice. That came from the Goddess of Light herself who just arrived with some kind of chariot that was being pulled by two unicorns. "Ah, Palutena. You've arrived just in time," said Zeus. "Care to explain to my children about the chariot you have right there?" Palutena nodded with a big smile on her face. "Of course, Zeus," she replied before explaining, "This is the Heavenly Chariot. It's going to be my gift to you, Hercules. It's so strong that it can break through powerful barriers. I'm trusting you to take good care of it as well as using it to protect yourself." Hercules walked up to the chariot and its two unicorns. He gently placed his right hand on one of them and stroked it with tender and affection. The unicorn nuzzled its head onto Hercules' shoulder. He then walked to the other unicorn and did the same thing with his left hand, all while the latter did the same thing to the former. "I promise to take good care of it and will not let it fall into the wrong hands, Palutena," he said as he hopped into the chariot and looked at his family and the Goddess of Light one last time. "Goodbye, my dear family and friend. Until we meet again. Giddyup, boys!" He ordered the unicorns to leave and they flew out of the temple where he would later arrive at his tower and live there. "I sure hope my brother will be alright," Phosphora said with a hint of worry. "He's strong, Phosphora. I'm sure he'll be safe," said Zeus. "I agree," said Palutena as they continued to watch Hercules disappear with his chariot until they were out of their sight.

After Lucifer finished reading the document, he smiled a sinister smile. "Hmm. Perhaps there IS a way to break Gaia's barrier," he snickered. "All hope for her will soon be lost. She will regret the day she dares to stop me!" He then closed the file and walked out of the room to tell the goddess what he found out. He ended up back in the dining room where Palutena herself was still waiting for him. "What happened? Are you okay?" she asked. "Oh, don't worry, Lady Palutena," Lucifer replied. "In fact, I have some great news! Turns out there is a to break down that cursed barrier." This made Palutena's eyes widen in both disbelief and shock. How is that even possible? she thought to herself. "What are you talking about?" she asked but silently gasped when she saw Lucifer holding the document file on his right hand. "Wait a minute! Where did you get the file?!" "Oh, this? I found this in the document room that was next to the hallway," Lucifer answered, nonchalantly, as he opened it. "It says right here that you gave someone by the name of 'Hercules' something called the 'Heavenly Chariot.' It's powerful enough to break through barriers, and it is located at Hercules' Tower somewhere further in the sky. I need you to take me there as soon as you can so that I can obtain the chariot myself." But despite the order he told her, Palutena was furious about what Lucifer just read in the document. She then snatched the file out from his hands. "That's an invasion of my privacy! You can't go over to the tower!" she boomed. "I suggest we just go take a break and we'll have a little talk afterwards!" However, Lucifer instead made a sinister smile as his eyes glowed red in anger again. He then grabbed Palutena's right ear with his left hand and dragged her face closer go his. "Did you forget about my warning?" he growled. "If you dare to disobey my orders, you will end up getting yourself killed. It's a death wish you don't want me to grant! So take me to Hercules' Tower RIGHT! NOW!" He let go of Palutena and she was left in a frantic state again. "A-Alright. I-I'll take you there," she reluctantly answered as Lucifer walked passed her to the door. "Good! Now then, time to fly away!" said Lucifer as he rushed to the opened door and Palutena activated the Power of Flight to fly him out into the sky.

Lucifer ended up somewhere in the skies where the Forces of Nature were infesting. "Looks like we've got a few guests for the party!" he said. "Time to have some fun!" He then unleashed powerful rapid fire shots at the foes, destroying them in the process. However, more of them continued to come out from the shadows to stop the angel. But that doesn't stop him from taking them all down. While he was defeating the enemies, he noticed something a little off. "Hmm... I don't see the tower anywhere around here," he said. "In fact, I don't believe it's somewhere in the Overworld. Lady Palutena, do you know where it's located?" But when he didn't receive a response from the Goddess of Light, his eyebrows lowered in annoyance. "You know that I just asked you a question," he said, irritated. "So where is the tower?" But Palutena still didn't give Lucifer a response. "I said... WHERE IS THE GODDAMN TOWER?!" he yelled. This made Palutena snap out of her feared trance. "I-It's higher in the sky," she reluctantly replied. "But I don't think you can fly over there before your wings catch fire." But Lucifer smiled a determined smile about what she said. "Oh really? Well, allow me to show you what I can do," he said before closing his eyes. However, more Forces of Nature troops came out from up above to attack the intruder. But, once Lucifer opened his eyes, his aura glowed bright red again. He then let out a scary roar before flying up, with his aura coving his body like a boosting shield, leaving a trail of red light right behind him as he plowed through all of the enemies with no harm on him. It wasn't until he reached all the way farther up into space that caused his aura to disappear again. "That was impressive, wouldn't you say?" he asked Palutena, who didn't seem to reply. Instead she ended up shocked and terrified about what she just witnessed. Lucifer's powers are almost as strong as mine! she exclaimed in thought. Something is terribly wrong here. I need to find a way to prevent him from letting him continue with it. Suddenly, Lucifer saw a chariot fly by him and decided to follow it. That must be the Heavenly Chariot I saw on the notes, he thought. I better follow it. But while he was following the chariot towards where he believed to be its home base, more Forces of Nature troops appeared to stop him. "If you think you can slow me down, Gaia, then you're dead wrong!" he said. "Once I've obtained what I came here for, I'll be going after YOU next!" He then fired a powerful charged shot that eliminated a row of enemies, and later fired more rapid fire shots at the other foes to take them out, before continuing his path to get the Heavenly Chariot. He then spotted a tower coming into his view. "This must be Hercules' Tower which is supposed to be the Heavenly Chariot's base," he said. "Now it's time for me to investigate and obtain the chariot for myself." He flew into the tower on the ground floor and entered inside.

Music stops and switches to: Only a Plank Between One and Perdition from Nobou Uematsu - Topic (A.K.A. Hercules' Tower Theme (Episode Lucifer Version))

Lucifer flew into the tower's entrance and entered inside. "So, it looks like the chariot is somewhere in this tower, huh?" he said. "Guess I better look around and see if I can find it." But once he entered inside, more Forces of Nature troops appeared inside the first floor to attack the intruder. "Hmm. You seem to be very persistent in trying to stop me from reaching your boss!" he said. "But you're still going to get yourselves killed!" After defeating all of them, he exited the room and went up a long walkway ahead. Hmm... There doesn't seem to be that much security than I thought, he thought to himself. Though I should keep my guard up in case there will be more enemies attempting to ambush me. After entering the second floor, not only did more enemies appeared as he predicted, but he also heard a new voice. "Who would dare to trespass my tower?" he said. "Leave this place immediately or else there will be consequences." "You must be Zeus' son, Hercules," said Lucifer. "You're the right person I was looking for." This made Hercules' eyes widen in horror and shock. "How do you know my name?!" he exclaimed. Lucifer smiled sinisterly as he took down more enemies that stood in his way. "Heh. Let's just say that I read document about your past," he chuckled. "I've been snooping through Lady Palutena's records about the chariot you possess." "You mean you're here to steal my Heavenly Chariot after forcing your superior to send you here?!" Hercules exclaimed in anger and disbelief. "That's exactly the point!" Lucifer replied. "And if you're going to stand in my way from claiming what shall be mine, then I shall show no mercy!" After taking down more enemies, he proceeded onwards up the third floor. "You know, Hercules, your security measures are not even that good," he stated. "After all, it doesn't look like there's even any weapons or something." "I'm well aware of that," Hercules sighed. "After I'm done with you, I'll upgrade my tower so that I can take care of even more intruders like yourself." "I doubt that it will be better though," Lucifer replied as he entered the third room where he was once again swarmed by the Forces of Nature's troops. Persistent little pests! he exclaimed in thought as he continued to take them down. After destroying them all, he went up another pathway to the fourth floor. Something tells me that this angel isn't like the other once in Palutena's Army, Hercules thought to himself. I better get to the bottom of this once he makes it up here. Once Lucifer reached the fourth room, more Forces of Nature troops appeared, this time with one of them being a giant stone. "What the hell is that?" he wondered. "That seems to be a Boom Stomper," said Palutena. "It can create shockwaves when it stomps on the ground and topple down on you to crush you, so be careful!" "Really? That thing can create shockwaves with such tiny legs?" Lucifer taunted. "I'll just knock it down by firing THIS!" As soon as he said that, he fired a charged shot directly at the Boom Stomper's sprout, causing it to tumble back and loose its balance in pain. "Now to finish it and the rest of its allies!" he said as he performed a melee combo at the Boom Stomper to finish it. Then, he fired rapid shots at the other enemies to take them down. Once they were all destroyed, Lucifer exited the room and walked upwards to the fifth floor. "Lucifer, are you sure this is a good idea?" Palutena asked Lucifer. "Listen, the Heavenly Chariot is exactly what I need to break down that barrier so that I can eliminate Gaia," he explained. "Just be sure that you don't interfere or there will be consequences." Palutena said nothing after that once Lucifer reached the next room. "For an angel, you clearly got some potential to fight off against the Forces of Nature," said Hercules. "But how come you're going after them only and not the Underworld Army?" "Information to know about that is none of your concern, Hercules," Lucifer replied. "But don't worry. You'll find out soon enough." After taking down all of the enemies, Lucifer continued onwards to the sixth floor. For a tower, this surely isn't that tall as it goes up to ten floors until I reach Hercules' location, he thought to himself. Soon enough, he entered the next room where a floating enemy is grouped with a swarm of Nutskis and then split itself apart to attack him. "How the fuck can it even do that?!" he exclaimed. "You seemed to have encountered a Trynamite," said Palutena. "The best solution to handle it is to attack it without make it split apart again." "That won't be a problem at all," said Lucifer as he attacked the Trynamite first while dodging the Nutskis' attacks. After taking down his target, he fired more charged shots at the Nutskis to destroy them. He then exited the room to head upwards. I'm halfway there! Just need to go to the top of the tower and claim what will be mine! he thought to himself. Sure enough, he entered the seventh room of the tower. "I'm impressed that you almost made it to the top of my tower," said Hercules. "But you should know that the enemies your facing are not making things easy for you. But why ARE you even fighting against the Forces of Nature in the first place?" While Lucifer was slaying many enemies that were standing in his way, and once he did indeed heard what Hercules just asked, his eyes glowed red in fury, and his aura started to glow, and then he said, "Do not...ask...that...QUESTION!" Suddenly, he roared a terrifying demonic roar that blasted all the enemies away from his area and then shattered into pieces. After that, Lucifer's aura and eyes faded back to normal as he continued onwards up to the sixth floor. Hercules was shocked after what he just witnessed. Now this is peculiar, he thought to himself. I've never seen an angel this...monstrous before. Could it be that the relation with him and the Forces of Nature have something unusual that I'm unaware about? Once Lucifer reached the eighth floor, he spotted a slithering worm that has lots of thorns surrounding it. "What's the deal with this slithering snake?" he wondered. "That's actually a Hugworm," Palutena explained. "It can wrap itself around you so that you won't escape. So be careful." This made Lucifer snicker. "Heh. This corny bug thinks it can try to stop me?" he boasted. "I'll instead gobble it up for a snack." With that, he activated his powers again. But this time, there was something unusual going on with his mouth. His teeth started to glow and saw the Hugworm as a moving corn. "It's lunchtime!" he growled and charged at the Hugworm before devouring it whole. After he was done eating it, he later spotted two Nutskis and a Clobbler. "Nothing like a couple of nuts and an apple can help me out with my tasty meal!" he growled again as he charged at his foes. Then, he ate them all up until they were nothing but in pieces and crumbs. "Mmmm. What a tasty meal I've had for lunch!" he moaned in delight. "I wonder if there are more of them as tasty as them?" He then proceeded onwards to the ninth floor. While he was walking upwards, both Palutena and Hercules' eyes widen in shock from what they witnessed. Did... Did he just ate the Forces of Nature?! Palutena exclaimed in thought. I never thought I would see someone like him do something... gruesome like that, Hercules thought. Something isn't right. Once Lucifer entered the ninth floor, two Bladers and two Parashooters appeared to stop him. "So, these little guys want to play 'swordfighter,' eh?" he said. "This will be fun!" With that, one of the Bladers flew straight towards and fired a long laser from its eye, only for the angel to dodge it quickly before firing a forward-dash charged shot to destroy it. The next Blader landed on the floor and rushed right towards Lucifer. It attempted to slash its enemy with its wings, but the angel moved backwards to avoid his foe's attacks and then fired a backward-dash charged shot to eliminate it. "Is that all you got?!" he taunted at the Parashooters. "Surely you two can make this more interesting." This only made his foes look at him with anger fueled within their eyes and fired blade-like projectiles directly at him. However, Lucifer swiftly dodged them to avoid getting hit. "You're gonna have to try harder than THAT!" he taunted, but he jinxed it as the same projectiles flew right back at him like boomerangs. They hit him to deal a bit of damage and knock him to the ground. The Parashooters were about to finish him off, but the same menacing aura started to form around him. "Hehehehehehe... Alright then," the angel laughed, sinisterly. "If that is how you want to play with me, then let me show you WHAT I CAN DO!" He suddenly ran towards the enemies at super speed before jumping and flying back and forth directly at them to deal multiple damage. Once he got back to the ground and smiled with his eyes glowing, the Parashooters exploded in defeat. After that, Lucifer's aura disappeared as he exited the ninth floor. Alright, Hercules. I'm coming for you now! he exclaimed in thought as he walked up the last walkway to the top of the tower. "I must say that you've impressed me long enough," said Hercules. "I'm waiting for you in another area. That portal will take you to where I am. Prepare yourself before going in." Lucifer nodded and entered the portal to go where he needed to be at. Oh no! Palutena gasped in thought, afraid of what will happen next.

Once Lucifer got out of the portal, he saw Hercules himself standing next to two standard chariots, both of which are pulled by unicorns. "So, you finally made it here," he said. "You've clearly got some potential in fending off your foes that were stopping you. But you better answer this question; why are you going after the Forces of Nature?" This made Lucifer cross and began with a sigh, "Fine. I will tell you the reason. I heard that you have something called the Heavenly Chariot. I need it so that I can pierce through the barrier that is guarding Gaia's temple. That's why her troops were preventing me from reaching you, because they seem to know about my plans in killing her." Hercules then walked up to the angel with a stern face. "That's not enough information to explain your reason. Surely you're doing something that you're not supposed to do," he said. "You need to explain your real reason why you're going after Gaia. Surely you have a reason why you're forcing Palutena to bring you here." However, Lucifer's only response was firing a charged shot directly at his target, but he swiftly dodged it. "As if I'm going to give you more classified information to the likes of you, Hercules!" the angel shouted. "I think it would be best for me to eliminate you right on the spot and then take the chariot for myself!" And before he knew it, Hercules hopped on the chariot and then ordered his unicorn to dash through the racetrack. "Trying to be a coward, huh? Well then, time to make sure you fight me like a man!" said Lucifer as he also got into his chariot and ordered the other unicorn to chase after Hercules.

Music stops and switches to: The Man with the Machine Gun from Nobou Uematsu - Topic (A.K.A. Hercules/Chariot Master's Battle Theme (Episode Lucifer Version))

Once Lucifer caught up with Hercules, the battle began. The angel started the fight by firing a charged shot at his foe, only for the latter to repel it with his sword and dealing the former some damage. "If you really want to take what is mine, you must prove your worth first," said Hercules. "But I highly doubt you'll stand a chance against me!" He then swiped his sword to deal damager at the angel, but Lucifer swiftly dodged his attacks to avoid them. "We'll see who gets to be the last one standing once I'm finished with you, Hercules!" he said. "Prepare to feel a world of pain!" Hercules then zoomed faster to get away from the angel, but Lucifer did the same to catch up with his foe. Once Hercules saw his foe coming closer to him, he summoned lightning bolts to zap directly at Lucifer, but the latter quickly dodged them to avoid getting hit. "You're a fool if you think you can stop me from taking the Heavenly Chariot!" he boasted. "Because all of you are nothing but useless bugs that deserve pain and agony at any direction. I'd half a mind to show you such mercy!" This made Hercules cross. "Is that why you show up and dare to slaughter innocents?!" he yelled. "An angel should know anything about peace and mercy! An angel should follow their leader's orders to stop this war! And an angel should protect humanity no matter the cost of what it takes! But you?! You are an abomination! An outrage against Nature! You've perverted your leader's orders to go after Medusa and used your newfound powers for evil! You have to be stopped! I must stop you!" "Ahahahahaha! You're one to talk, Hercules!" Lucifer laughed. "At least let me get up close and personal with you so that I can rip you to shreds!" Hercules' only response was zooming away from Lucifer as fast as he could. "Coward!" Lucifer grunted as he chased after him. Once the two warriors got closer to each other again, Lucifer fired multiple shots at Hercules to deal damage. Hercules counterattacked by summoning lightning bolts from his hands to slow the angel down, but the latter swiftly dodged them before catching up to his foe. "Impressive, but let's see if you can beat me this time," said Hercules as he grabbed his sword and attempted to slash at Lucifer, but the angel still prevailed by dodging his attacks. "It'll take more than that to stop me, Hercules!" he said. "Let me show you my true power!" With that, he activated his inner powers once again. Once Hercules stabbed Lucifer in the chest with his sword, the angel surprisingly didn't take any damage. "What?!" Hercules gasped. "Hehehehehehe! Is that all you got?" Lucifer chuckled, sinisterly. "And here I thought you were better than that. Now it's my turn!" Suddenly, he grabbed the sword and removed it from his chest. Then he sliced and diced Hercules multiple times to deal big damage. After that, Hercules was defeated as he fell out of the chariot. "Game over, Hercules," Lucifer said in victory. "What kind of monster are you?" Hercules said in defeat as he collapsed to the ground.

Music stops and switches to: Kevin Macleod ~ Giant Wyrm (A.K.A. Evil Comes Theme)

As Hercules attempted to get up but to no avail, Lucifer walked up to him with a sinister smile on his face before leaning down to meet face to face with his fallen foe. "You want to know something, Hercules? My entire life hurts," he said. "It hurts like a son of a bitch it even makes me feel like I'm turning myself back into a human being. Do you even know how it feels to be like this after your human life was gone?" He then took out his weapon and placed his right hand on Hercules' face. "You know, I've always wondered what my life will be like when I become a god," he continued. "What are you talking about?" Hercules asked. "What I mean is that I wish to become immortal for all eternity," Lucifer answered. "Sure I may be already immortal in this form, but I have a feeling that it's still not enough. Once I've obtain the powers of a god, I will begin my reign of terror. Even better than the foolish Underworld Army. But the only thing I need to get rid of first is the Forces of Nature." This made Hercules cross. "Then tell me, Lucifer! Why do you wish to go after Gaia in the first place?! What did she ever do to you?!" he roared in question. This made Lucifer snicker as he got up from the ground and began to walk slowly away from Hercules. "Because I wanted revenge on her since she killed my parents!" he confessed. "I need her to pay a blood price after ruining my life. The only way to do so is to gather all the items necessary to eliminate her right on the spot. I've already obtained my Three Sacred Treasures, so now I need that chariot to break down the barrier that's blocking her way. Unless you want to live without death, you can let me have your chariot." Hercules' eyes widen in shock after hearing what the angel told him. Could he really handle something like that? Could he really give something like the Heavenly Chariot to someone who desperately wanted revenge? "No! I won't give my chariot to you so that you can commit genocide! I won't allow you to kill Gaia!" he yelled. This made Lucifer cross as he turned around and walked back to his fallen foe. "Then how about I force you to do it instead?" he said and then raised his right foot upwards before stomping it down on Hercules' right leg, causing a bone to slightly break. "AAAAAHHHHHH!" Hercules screamed in pain. "You should've followed my orders so that it doesn't get you in trouble, Hercules," Lucifer warned. "Once again, unless you want to live without suffering, injury, or death, give me the chariot right this instant!" But Hercules shook his head. "No! I won't give it to you!" he yelled. "Oh yeah?" said Lucifer as he raised his right foot up again and then stomped on Hercules' left arm, breaking another bone. "AAAAHHHHH!" Hercules screamed again. "You either give me the chariot or die, Hercules," Lucifer warned as he brought out his weapon and prepared a charged shot. "YOUR CHOICE!" Hercules' eyes widen in panic as he raised his left arm in defense, causing Lucifer to stop his charged shot for a while. "Wait wait wait! I'll give you the chariot if you promise not to tell my family about what happened!" he exclaimed. "You have to leave them out of this mess! If anything, Uncle Hades is the one responsible for this mess! He caused the corruption of this War of Chaos to begin with!" "You mean you're telling me that Hades, the brother of Poseidon and Zeus, who is your father, is the one responsible for this war to begin with?" Lucifer asked. Hercules nodded his head reluctantly. "Hahahahahaha! That's preposterous! The Lord of the Underworld caused the War of Chaos to begin, yet he didn't know that Gaia killed my parents in the first place," Lucifer laughed, sinisterly. "Well, I think you have served your purpose long enough with the information I needed." Hercules' eyes widen in shock. "What do you mean? I thought you said you were going to let me live!" he exclaimed. "Oh I did...but not here. Instead, I'll be sending you to the Overworld so that you can enjoy your new life," he said. "What Palutena doesn't know is that after I arrived in Skyworld, I've obtained hidden powers you witnessed earlier, including sending any god to the Overworld." "What?!" Hercules gasped. "It's been fun playing with you, Hercules, but I got to go. I have a date with the Goddess of Nature," Lucifer continued. "And YOU have a date with the humans!" With that, he focused his powers and used it on Hercules. Suddenly, Hercules' body started to glow before he began to fade away. He was being transported straight to the Overworld. "NO! NOOOOOO!" he yelled before he disappeared. "So long, mortal," said Lucifer as he got into the Heavenly Chariot itself. "Giddyup, boys! Let's head back to Lady Palutena," he ordered the unicorns as they flew away out of the tower back to Palutena's temple.

Music stops and switches to: Wastes - Safe Zone (A.K.A. Inside Palutena's Temple (Episode Lucifer Version))

Once Lucifer arrived at Palutena's temple and entered inside, he saw the Goddess of Light herself waiting in the dining area and she was furious. "Look what you've done!" she yelled. "That chariot was a gift from me and I gave it to Hercules! Why do you continue to disobey my orders?! WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME JUST ONCE!" However, Lucifer's eyes started to glow red as he approached Palutena before the unthinkable happened. He shoved her and she fell right on the table, which it almost broke. He then walked up to the fallen goddess before putting his left arm right on her neck, lightly choking her. "I thought I warned you about not listening to ME, Palutena!" he roared. "The next time you don't do anything I tell you to do, you'll be joining your sister in her demise. Do you understand?" When Palutena couldn't answer the question, Lucifer tightened his grip, this time choking Palutena with a brute amount of force. "I SAID DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND?!" Lucifer yelled. "ANSWER THE GODDAMN QUESTION!" "Y-Yes! I u-understand!" Palutena choked out and that made Lucifer let go of his grip. "Good. Now, tomorrow will be the day Gaia will fall!" he said. "Resistance against this battle will be futile. Anybody who dares to stand in my way will be executed. That includes YOU, Palutena!" He pointed at the goddess to prove his point before leaving her back to his room. Palutena began to sob as tears poured out of her sockets. "W-Why...Lucifer?" she cried. "Why...do you have... to do this... to us...?"

Oh boy. Lucifer's revenge against Gaia is near and Hercules is at the Overworld. By the way, for those of you who may or may not know about horror movies, during the battle and the aftermath between Lucifer and Hercules, most of the quotes are a reference to Child's Play between John Bishop, also known as Dr. Death, and Charles Lee Ray, also known as Chucky the killer doll. So I decided to change it up a bit to give a more menacing tone and show how evil he has become by showing more of his true nature to Palutena. Also, in case if you're wondering, he soon figured out about Hades' cause of the war to begin with, which later explained how he knew about Hades' responsibility for Medusa's resurrection during the Beginning Arc. Anyways, stay tuned for chapter five of Episode Lucifer, review, and have a great day!
