TO SAY MITSUKI DREYAR was nervous would be an understatement of the century.

Realistically she knew she shouldn't be. Fairy Tail got new members all the time, right? Though it was the situation that made it nerve-wracking.

She didn't know how Laxus and Makarov would react to her saying she was the daughter of Ivan Dreyar. She knows why her father got expelled from the guild - it was the main thing he ever ranted about. Yes, her father was still very much bitter about getting kicked out of the guild by his own father. Sometimes Mitsuki wondered what her fathers real age was.

Though nevermind that. She sat in the train, in a private car that she paid for so that she could forcefully remove the Raven Tail emblem. MItsuki never once stopped to get a motel before coming to Magnolia. She wanted out of the Raven Tail vicinity as soon as possible, and didn't want her fathers trackers to get a scent of her still in town.

Generally speaking if you wanted to get your guild's emblem removed, you would have it removed by the same stamp that placed it there. However, since Mitsuki knew there was no shot that her father would ever remove her emblem willingly… she had to do it herself. Removing an emblem without the magical stamp? Yeah, it hurt like a bitch. Her shoulder stung something fierce, but there was no way she was going into the Fairy Tail guild building with that monstrosity on her shoulder.

Even if she didn't get accepted into the guild she could be a drifter. No one knew who she was, they only knew her of her magical abilities and her alias. Mitsuki even learned a secondary magic, one similar to her Earth Dragon Slayer magic so that she didn't have to use her Earth Dragon Slaying abilities all that much. It was helpful, especially when she wanted to lay low and not draw too much attention to herself.

Plus, using her Earth Make magic was always fun and easy to come up with new moves for.

"Magnolia station! We've reached Magnolia station! Everyone for Magnolia please step off the train!" The intercom called overhead when they finally stopped, making Mitsuki take a deep breath. She stood up, exiting out of her private car as she walked down the train's aisle. She paused to bow respectfully towards the bell-hop - who looked surprised at the gesture, but smiled - appreciative none-the-less.

If she was still with Raven Tail there was no way she'd be able to do that without getting a critical eye from the members.

"Okay, you can do this…" Mitsuki trails off, taking a deep breath. "Just… be yourself! Flare always loved your personality!" She continued to pep talk herself, knowing she couldn't just back out now. Especially since she already removed her Raven Tail emblem.

There was no going back.

She paused at the big building, though it looked a little run-down… as if it hadn't been used in a while. Furrowing her eyebrows she glanced around and spotted a local passing by. "Excuse me, sir!" She called, jogging over to him as he glanced over at her with a raised eyebrow. "Do you know where the new Fairy Tail building is?"

The boy scoffed, rolling his eyes. "You want to join that run-down guild?" He asked in disgust before pointing in a random direction. "You'll find it behind the big building. Though I'd think twice about joining that guild." He warned her before walking away, leaving Mitsuki confused about his attitude. Wasn't Fairy Tail a revered guild? So why was he acting like they were scum of Earthland?

Shaking her head she followed the directions he had for her and sure enough, there was another smaller building behind it. Boisterous laughter could be heard and Mitsuki swallowed thickly as she made her way towards the smaller Fairy Tail building. She wondered why the other building wasn't being used, but knew it wasn't in her place to question. She knew that when the stronger members disappeared, the guild suffered tremendously. The fact they kept the guild alive, even though they had no clue whether or not the other members were going to be coming back, made her heart warm a little on the inside.

She knew for a fact that no one in Raven Tail would do that if something were to happen to the guild.

Pausing at the guilds door she took a deep breath before entering. Everyone was chatting with each other, all happy and full of life. Her stormy gray eyes scanned the guild hall, heart stopping when she saw a bulky blond sitting at a table with three other mages unknown to her. Scanning her eyes even more she saw a tiny graying-haired male sitting at the bar, along with two older males and her heart skipped even more at the sight.

Her half brother and grandfather.

Clearing her throat she walks towards the three older males. They instantly stop talking when they see her walk up, as she is noticeably not a member of the guild. "Can I help you, young lady?" Makarov questioned, causing Mitsuki's heart to skip a beat as the other two males looked at her with questionable eyes.

Now she was anxious. Everyone had stopped chattering to look at her, not having noticed when she walked in. She hated having the spotlight on her, which was saying a lot considering that's all she had when she was with Raven Tail. Taking a deep breath she stood up straight, willing every bit of courage she had to look at her grandfather. "Sir, I know this is going to sound weird… it's been sounding weird in my head ever since I decided to do this," she admitted sheepishly, laughing slightly at her own joke. Though no one else got it, of course, and she cleared her throat. "This is probably not going to make any sense. Well, it'll make sense, but…" she paused when she caught herself rambling, shaking her head. The old man was giving her a patient look, having sensed that she was a bit nervous. "Well… I'm your granddaughter…" Mitsuki winced at how awkward that sounded. "As in, like… Ivan Dreyar's daughter." She quickly added, knowing that it wasn't exactly needed.

She had already made this way more awkward than it needed to be.

Makarov froze, staring at Mitsuki with wide eyes. With a sigh, Mitsuki gave the old man a weak smile. "My name is Mitsuki Dreyar. Nice to meet you?" She trails off with another wince.

The guild was in total silence. Mitsuki felt awkward as she stood there, being stared at like she was some sort of tourist attraction. At times that's all she ever felt like. A tourist attraction. That's what her father ever treated her as, at any rate.

"You're his granddaughter?" A new voice piped up, causing her to turn to see a black-haired boy looking up at her curiously. He had a red Fairy Tail guild mark on his right shoulder as he looked up at me curiously, black eyes giving a childish glow.

Mitsuki chuckled at the boy, relaxing faintly. If his goal was to get her to loosen up, he did so with his innocence. "Yeah, I am." Though the older male in question was still frozen in shock, probably not having expected his son to have another child. Which, when Mitsuki thought about it, was fair. Ivan wasn't really known to be at all loving, and the thought that he could have taken up another wife was unheard of. At least, to those who knew him well.

Taking another deep breath, she curls a pink hair behind her ear sheepishly. "I know it's kind of weird to pop up out of the blue, but I never got the chance to do it while you were… you know… still here. Not that Ivan would ever let me, either way…" She chuckled darkly at the thought, "he doesn't even know that I am here. Or that I removed my own emblem…"

Though she was slightly terrified of when he did find out, however she would worry about that later.

That time the older male beside Makarov blinked. "You removed your own emblem? I heard that hurts like a bitch," he grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. He looked eerily similar to the younger boy who had just talked to her, and had a similar scent - so she could only assume he was his father. He was giving her a distrustful look, though he seemed impressed about the emblem part.

At that comment her hand automatically went to where her emblem was. "It did," she admits with a grimace. "I didn't want to walk in here with it on. And… I figure, if you didn't want me here, I can always just travel around. It's not like I can go back to Raven Tail. I'd be punished… or worse…" The or worse hung in the air, and she knew she was right. Even though she was the Master's daughter, she didn't get special treatment. In fact, he treated her far worse - just because he could.

She wasn't saying this out loud in order to get sympathy, even though she got quite a few sympathetic looks. She was just stating the truth, and saying it out loud for her own ears to hear.

"Why wouldn't we want you here?" The boy from before asked with a frown. "You left on your own accord, right? You just wanted to meet Master Makarov and Laxus, who are your blood family. You thought you'd never get a chance to, right?" The boy glanced over at his father, who had his eyebrows furrowed - deep in thought. "Even though you knew Ivan wouldn't let you, you still did it anyway. I think that's pretty impressive!" He grinned at Mitsuki, causing her to flush under the attention. "I'm Romeo Conbolt, by the way. It's awesome to meet you!" He gives Mitsuki a thumbs up - grinning from ear to ear.

"Romeo!" The male that Mitsuki assumed was his father hissed, sighing as he turned to look at her. "While I hate to admit it, I agree with my son." Ah, so she was correct. Her nose never lies. "I am impressed, and wouldn't dare send you back to a place where you might get punished. I've heard rumors of what his punishments are like." He cringes at the thought. Glancing down at Makarov, the other male sighed. "Master, say something, at least!"

At that awakening, Makarov finally blinked as he stared at Mitsuki. "MY GRANDDAUGHTER!" He cried out, launching himself at her. Mitsuki gasped as she caught him, falling onto her ass with an oof.

"I think that answers that question," Romeo's father chuckled in amusement, rolling his eyes.

Mitsuki's heart swelled at that and tears formed in her eyes as she hugged her blubbering grandfather. This was the chance she needed to make things right. All she ever wanted was to be able to meet her grandfather, and maybe get close with her half brother.

For now, though, this was all that she needed. She'd leave the "what ifs" for her future self to figure out.

Even if that was a little bit anxiety inducing.
