"Adrien, its almost time for bed," Natalie told Adrien as she entered the room. Adrien looked up from his computer where he was doing homework. "Okay. I'll be done in about fifteen minutes."
When Adrien shut off his computer for the night, he put on his pajamas and climbed into bed. He sighed happily, his eyes heavy with sleep. "Well, you look happy," Plagg said, as he held a piece of cheese. "In fact, I think your more happy then usual. And your grades have even gone up."
Adrien had always had good grades, but he was able to concentrate better in school these days. Three full meals, lots of hugs and kisses, and a wonderful girl friend were the products of his success. "Do you realize how lucky we are, Plagg?" Plagg looked at him, cheeks bulging with cheese. "Lucky?"
"Yeah, not only do I get to hang out with Marinette every day now, I finally have a mother and father that love me." "You've been wanting that a long time, Adrien." Adrien flipped over, hugging his pillow has he stared at his Kwami. "Don't get me wrong, I still miss Mother, but having people who listen and are there for you make all the difference."
Adrien stared up at the ceiling, then fingered the golden locket. "What's that?" Plagg asked. "My locket." Adrien opened it, showing Plagg what inside. On one side, he as (Cat Noir) and Ladybug were smiling at the camera, blowing kisses and laughing. On the other was one of himself with Marinette and her family. Mama Cheng had a hand on Adrien's shoulder. The day that picture was taken, Adrien had officially felt like part of the family. The locket was heart-shaped, and Adrien thought it was fitting. For in his locket, was the most important people in his heart.
