"So, when does your store open, Marinette?" Alya asked. Marinette was launching a small online store, and she had been dropping hints about it to her friends all week. Adrien stood his locker, listening.
"Seven tonight. Since a lot of Parisian's are such big Ladybug and Cat Noir fans, I made my first designs a dedication to them." "Ooh, girl! I have to work on the Ladyblog tonight, but I'll be sure to check it out!"
"Your not going to do any work until we celebrate with a smoothie!" Marinette linked her arm through Alya's and laughing and chatting the girls left the locker room.
Plagg popped his head out of Adrien's gym bag. "So, are you going to look at her shop?" "Of course, Plagg! What if Marinette made a "I Heart Cat Noir" pin?" Adrien sighed, dreamily. "Okay, Romeo, get your head out of the clouds!"
Hours later….
Adrien sat poking his broccoli with a fork as he watched the hands sweep around the clock. Did the hands always move that slowly? "Adrien, as soon as you finish your food, you can be excused." Adrien sighed mournfully, looking down at the Tree Of Doom. Forcing himself, he popped the food in, and swallowed fast.
6:55. Time to go.
"If only you had this much dedication to cheese," Plagg sighed, munching a piece of cheddar. "If your going tomorrow, we can go to Leo's. The pumpkin drinks start soon."
7:00, and Adrien clicked on the website. Oh, cheese and berries it was cute! He wouldn't be getting the purse obviously, but a pair of Ladybug and Cat mittens! He'd take one of each!
Two weeks later, and Adrien's package had arrived. It was so a chilly day, so he wore his Cat Noir mittens. "Hey, cute mittens!" Marinette told him, the wind whipping around her pigtails. "Yeah, she's a great designer," Adrien grinned.
Marinette shook her head, smiling. She expected Cat to buy mittens, but Adrien? Not so much. Oh, well, she was going to give a pair to him soon enough.
