Still in his suit, Jonah gently packed his larger pockets with spare ammo and more web cartridges. He grimaced at the sight of the box he had stolen from Oscorp slowly getting below the numbers he needed it to be, shaking his head as he loaded up his web shooter with some of them. "So, what's the plan?", Maya asked overlooking him with a curious expression.

"Hobie and I are going to the Alchemax facility down in Hudson Valley. From there we'll go to the main boss' offices, delete the digital copies of that incriminating information along with the information to Hobie's family, steal the physical copies and get outta there.", Jonah explained with an almost lackadaisical tone in his voice. "Just a simple in and out stuff."

"Well considering they're the same fuckers that made, y'know, the Rhino... I doubt it's gonna be easy.", Maya comments with a confused expression. "They're probably expecting you."

"Knowing is only half the fun... or knowing is half the battle, I dunno, I forgot.", Jonah shrugged with the same level of enthusiasm as with every conversation about Alchemax, completely unbothered. "But still, it's not like I'm expecting it to go easy. Which is why I'm packin up shit before I leave for real."

Maya nodded as she wrapped her arms around him. "What about you and Hobie?"

Jonah contemplated on his answer before shrugging. "Eh, after he came to me with his request I just couldn't hold any anger to him anymore. He and I are alike in a way... we're both victims of the plague rats that run around New York.", he says with a sigh, he couldn't see it but he knew Maya had a smile on her face.

"Well it's great to see my two favorite people get back together again.", Maya says warmly as she planted a kiss on his cheek. "But, Hobie's my second favorite."

"I'll be sure to keep that from him.", Jonah says as his ears could pick up tapping, he automatically knew it was coming from the roof. "Alright, I'm off.", he said as he stood up, Maya let's go as he turned to face her. "So, how bout one for the road?", he says teasingly.

"You wish.", Maya teases right back while flicking his nose, causing him to scrunch it up as he pulled on his mask.

"Ight, fair enough.", Bullet Spider says as he slid open the window and launched himself out. Catching himself with a web line, he swung himself high into the air and landed on the tower bolted to the top of the building.

The Prowler looked up to Bullet Spider as he looked over a the sun, even with the cloudy sky he could tell it was going to set. "Let's roll, we don't have much time."

With a charged leap caused by the purple energy generating from his soles, the Prowler shot out a grappling hook and swung from a building as Bullet Spider, with a hidden smile, swung with him.

The two acrobatic young man hopped from tree to tree as they had managed to find their way to Hudson Valley. Loop-de-looping from a large branch, Bullet Spider landed on a massive tree as the former bounty hunter was clinging onto the same tree overlooking the large white building that was the Alchemax Cooperation headquarters.

The Prowler looked at it in silence before turning his head towards Bullet Spider. "Over thirty staff is still present within the compound, a dozen less than usual. The west and east vents are blind spots, I'll take the west and you get east. Octavius' office is on the third floor, so I'll have to meet you there, don't fuck up and get caught."

"So do we need the monitor or just the big ol box? Y'know just in case we need to make a quick get away.", Bullet Spider shrugged as The Prowler tapped his helmet.

"We'll just need the box, I can just hook it up to a monitor I can get in like... a Best Sell or something."

"The Best Sell on fifth avenue? Because that one closes at like nine pm."

"What? No it doesn't, that's the one twenty third."

"No I swear to god it closes at nine."

"Okay, after we're done, we'll check and whoever is right... uh, I don't know, they get to do whatever the winner wants.", The Prowler shrugged before shaking his head. "Let's go."

Bullet Spider stood on the branch he was perched on and popped his knuckles. "Let's get this shit done."

"Now you're talkin'!", The Prowler says as he shoots out a grappling hook from his gauntlet and swung towards the west while Bullet Spider, simply leapt to the east, catching himself on a web to slow his descent and gently land on the wall.

Using his talons to pry it open, he began to crawl through the narrow vent with ease. "Wish this fucker gave me a map, y'know like that would be super useful.", Jonah thinks to himself annoyed as he didn't really know where he was going.

Bullet Spider paused for a moment, attuning his hearing for the environment considering where he was. He could hear footsteps passing right below him, once they got a decent distance away he continued to crawl along. "They got some clean vents actually, way better change of pace from the dirty rat infested ones."

Using his hearing as a means of a map, he skillfully maneuvered through the vents, though he swore he could hear another pair of thumps beyond his own and Hobie's. Shaking this off, he saw Hobie ahead of him looking down through the steel grate that separates the vent from down below.

Quietly crawling along, he joined Hobie in staring down at an office. It was simple enough, desk, computer monitor hooked up to a large black box, empty cups of coffee along with a side of multiple other desk holding blue prints. "Sooo-", Bullet Spider was shush.

For what felt like forever, The Prowler gave a thumbs up as he opened the grate, Bullet Spider held his arm as he slowly lowered Hobie down to the floor. Sticking a web to it, Bullet Spider joined him on the floor, popping his neck. "Man, I hate cramped spaces."

"Quit being a baby.", The Prowler waved this off as he hopped over the desk and began typing a password in. Bullet Spider was genuinely shocked at how long he was typing before he just stopped, the computer loading in. "Yeah, Octavius is super paranoid."

"I can see that-"

"What the fuck is this.", The Prowler gestured his recently reconciled friend over, he did and had to cover his mouth in shock. Her desktop was a complete mess with different files of various uses scattered around. "Seriously, what the fuck."

"She's gotta organize her desktop."

"Shiiiit, that's what I'm sayin.", The Prowler says as he twisted the rounded part of his gauntlet, steam exiting the gaps as he slipped it off, showing a long black glove underneath. "Keep an ear out, this might take a bit."

"The fuck you mean it might?", Bullet Spider shook his head in disappointment as he walked back to the front of the desk. The walls surrounding the office were simple stained glass, which made it difficult for others to actually see through it. "You got any tips for swinging, cuz y'know I wanna lessen the amount of web fluid I use on a daily basis."

"Uhhh.", The Prowler thought for a moment as he kept searching through the hundreds of files. "If you wanna lessen the rate of web fluid consumption to use up less webbing but make the same or even grater distance... maybe tweak the nozzle size by like a millimeter or two? And maybe put less arm and more leg into the swing."

"Ahhh, gotcha.", Bullet Spider nodded as he tapped his foot. "Say... tell me why you didn't tell me or Maya again? Just a little curious."

The Prowler, still at work, seemed to be lost in thought. "I didn't want you guys to worry or see me any differently. Which I guess I was right for a bit..."

"I'm sorry man...", Bullet Spider grimaces as he remembered his reaction to it the first time. "I told Maya this, I don't think I was actually mad... just kinda hurt. You're like my brother and y'know, withholding such a big secret kinda fucked me up."

"I could see that.", The Prowler comments as he could tell his friend seemed far less aggressive than their previous encounters. The two stopped talking as they jolted up, the Prowler slowly clicked on his gauntlet as Bullet Spider readied himself.

Within the blink of an eye, Bullet Spider was grabbed by his hoodie and thrown into the plain glass walls by a powerful force. The culprit descended from the ceiling, he was a tall man wearing what looked like some sort of armor.

The armor itself was bizarre in appearance, having a dark grey body suit with green armor attached to the chest, arms, back, legs, neck and head. His right arm was a three fingered hand with extended black attachments with a giant pincer on his left. His face was adorned by a green helmet with a red visor that appeared to scowl. But soon after, a long, scorpion like tail began to emerge from back.

"What the fuck is that and why does it look cool?", Bullet Spider groaned as he plucked the shard out of his back, which barely made it to the skin.

"Not what, more like who.", the female voice of Olivia Octavius said as she entered her office with a bagel. "Say do you prefer cream cheese or just take the bagel raw?"

"Ugh.", The Prowler rolled his eyes under his helmet as Octavius tapped the back of the large man.

"It's great to finally meet you in person, y'know you're a lot buffer than they said in person.", Olivia says with a smile on her face, Bullet Spider looked at her confused. "What? Shocked that I'm such a stunning beauty? Or are you surprised that I'm not surprised that you're here?"

"The first one actually."

"Oooh, you're such a mean one.", Olivia says ass she took a bite of her bagel, the scorpion looking man looked at her with visible annoyance. "Oh, yeah. Y'know, Alchemax is known for our scientific progress in discovering new methods of science. Mister Gargan here signed up for a test trail of this new biological armor... an armor made to slay you. One of the scientist dubbed it a Spider Slayer... I think it's nice."

"Ohhhh... that one bald fucker from the alleyway that one time.", Bullet Spider pointed as the spider slayer hissed.

"I ain't that same fucker anymore, this time, you can call me SCORPION!", with shocking speed the Scorpion lunged at Bullet Spider, grabbing him by his neck with his hand and slammed him through the floor. Following shortly after.

Olivia looked down with a smile. "Thanks for bringing him, Hobie but-", a gunshot was heard as she turned towards the Prowler holding his sawed off shotgun in hand. "You missed.", the woman commented using her bagel to point at the hole made by the gun shot.

"It was a warning shot.", The Prowler growled as Octavius laughed.

"For me? Nah...", she put up her curly mane of brown hair in a messy pony tail as she took off her lab coat. She wore what looked like a dark green body suit with burnt green gloves and boots, a metallic harness strapped to her waist as six smooth metal tentacles emerged from her back. Reaching up to her glasses, she took them off and replaced them for what looked like welding goggles. "But for you? Maybe."

A Floor below, an annoyed yell was heard as Bullet Spider punched the Scorpion through a wall. Running toward, he leapt up and began shooting at the Scorpion who simply cackled maniacally. "YEAH! YEAH! THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!", Scorpion exclaimed as he used his metal tail to smack the Bullet Spider out of the air.

"Ahh I missed this! No proper fighting technique, no build up, no cheating!", Gargan stood up as he trembled with excitement. "It's like I'm back home, fighting an equally suicidal dumbass! A fight between real men!"

"I ain't interested in your philosophy!", Bullet Spider said as the two rushed in, both with a tackle that ended up in them in a standstill.

"Yeah, I want much for the philosophical bullshit!", Scorpion grinned under his helmet as he body slammed the arachnid into a desk. But he was suddenly grabbed by his ankle.

"Poor choice of words then! Let me reiterate!", Quickly standing up faster than the Scorpion could register, Bullet Spider threw him into a wall before charging in with one powerful punch that sent him crashing through wall after wall before crash landing into the cafeteria. Startling the scientist thaT found themselves unfortunate enough to eat there.

"I AIN'T INTERESTED IN SOME FUCKING NOBODY!", Bullet Spider roared with such contempt and rage that the scientist could only scream in fight and run away as best as they could as Scorpion let out an annoyed growl. "Huh? Okay, that should've at least left him on the ground for a few minutes."

"What part of Spider Slayer don't you understand?!", Scorpion hissed out as he still seemed incapable of containing his excitement. "The process hurt like a motherfucker! But if it means I could kill you, then I'll take all the pain needed!"

"You're not a Scorpion, you're a fucking cockroach.", Bullet Spider commented as he knew for a fact this fight won't be as quick a he'd like it to be.

"Oh you're such a big flirt! Cockroaches are fucking amazing! I had twenty of them when I was a little boy!", Scorpion laughed as a dangerously sharp metal spike jutted out of his left gauntlet. Without much other words he charged at Bullet Spider, who in turn charged right towards him.

The spider only barely missed a slice to his face with Scorpion's wrist stinger, simply slicing the mask round his nose to his jawline. Bullet Spider countered with a powerful punch to his face, immediately after, the armored psychopath laughed and bashed him on the side of the head with his giant metal claw. Blood was splattered the wall to their left.

Bullet Spider snarled as he popped his talons, slicing at Scorpion who did the exact thing, stabbing into his shoulder with his wrist stinger as his larger version wrapped around and stabbed him in the back. The spider let out a pained scream as he grabbed Scorpion by the side of his head and slammed their heads together violent repeatedly.

The arachnid hissed as he could feel another slice at his shoulder as Scorpion grabbed him by the sleeve and threw him into a few wooden tables. Gargan looked down at his wrist see a quarter left of his stinger, the same stinger that Bullet Spider had broken off.

With a gleeful laugh, the two charged at each other again. The moment they got within arms reach of each other is when they began trading blow after blow, blood staining Bullet Spider's hands as the two kept violently beating on each other. "THIS SHIT IS SO MUCH FUN! I FUCKING LOVE IT!"

For a moment, Bullet Spider felt nauseous and missed a right jab to Scorpions head which allowed his adversary to grab him by his arm and slam him into the marble floor to which he followed up with a powerful elbow drop that sent them through the floor and crashing into the first floor. Scientists that were simply minding their business screamed in fear as they sprinted out the emergency exit.

The scarlet arachnid slowly got up as his vision began to blur, a burning sensation forming through his body as he stumbled for a moment. "Heh, that poison they made worked faster than they said. Sorry brat, but you can't win like this. Octavius made sure that I was a perfect match for you, no... an overwhelming force that not even you can face!"

Bullet Spider couldn't hear him clearly, only echos of his voice as he attempted to regain balance. He managed to hold himself together using the edge of a folded chair that they brought down. "That poison is really doin work to ya huh? Feeling tired? Sluggish even? Good. I'm gonna make sure you're pushing up daises soon."

Back on the third floor, The Prowler held the hot CPU in his other hand as he effortlessly outmaneuvered the laughing Doctor Octopus' metallic tentacles. "Oh c'mon Hobie! Make this easier and just give it back!", Doc Ock says in her disgustingly sweet voice as she had a devious smirk on her face as Prowler slid under her and began sprinting down the corridor.

"You fuckin wish you big body bitch!", The Prowler exclaims as he braces himself and launched forward and through a wall. Shooting a grappling hook at a tree, he swung away with Doc Ock shortly following after with a maniacal laugh.

"Hobie! Just give that back and I can help save your little friend!", she says with a smirk on her face as Prowler kept leaping from tree to tree due to her effortlessly tearing through them with her four tentacles.

"What are you talking about?", Prowler looked at her curiously as he swung from a branch that was shortly reduced to saw dust.

Briefly blinding herself by accident, she wiped it away from her goggles only to not be able to see The Prowler anymore... or at least in her line of sight. She knew he was still near, her tentacles could just sense it. "The Mutagen used on the spider that was mixed with its venom which was then injected by whoever is under that mask very obviously gave him abilities similar to a spider. But, the mutagen could very likely have twisted his mind!"

"You mean him slaughtering criminals is because of that mutagen?", the Prowler says behind a tree, the glowing sections of his suit turning completely black as he peered at her.

"Yes, it's possible for sure.", Octavius says with fake sincerity complemented with a genuinely devilish grin. "I can help him, but only if you can convince him to- GRAH!", Doc Ock let out a cough as a bit of spit came flying from her mouth.

The suit illuminated once again, brightening the otherwise dark area as The Prowler was crouched on a branch nearby. "Im not falling for that bullshit twice!" But Hobie couldn't help but think... is his friend okay?"

Speaking of which, Bullet Spider was cracked across the face with a powerful right jab followed up by a knock to the ground by Scorpion's massive claw. Using his tail, he grabbed the Bullet Spider and throwing him into the reception desk. "Vamos pendejos! Stand the fuck up! I know you got a little bit of fight left! Unless you want to die... then just lay down."

"The poison doesn't seem to be lethal if I'm still alive, which is good on me... but I'm still at a disadvantage.", Bullet Spider as he could feel the sweat mixing in with his bleeding cuts along his body. "Shit... I'm gonna lose consciousness soon.. fuck... FUCK!"

As the Scorpion charged at him, Bullet Spider's accelerated vision gave him the time to plot... but nothing came. With nothing else but his sheer instinct, he raised his head and quickly snapped his lower body down with so much speed that the Scorpion leapt back. A loud crash echoed through the now ruined first floor.

Standing in an aggressive stance, his body hunched with his hands clenched, talons coming out as Bullet Spider panted heavily, blood still staining his clothing as the Scorpion was surprised. "Cabrón loco! What did he even try to do?! Ah who cares."

"DIE!", the Scorpion once again lunched forward, his long tail leaking poison as he let out a sadistic cackle. But... without any warning whatsoever, The Scorpion was knocked right off course with a powerful left hook. The strength of this punch cracked away at the helmet grafted onto him. "What the hell?! He can keep going?!"

Bullet Spider grabbed his tail with a notable smile carving its way onto his face as he tore it off with a sickening metal screech. Quickly following this up by smacking Scorpion away as he cringed from the pain, he was sent flying and crashing into the now dirty floor and left a small hole in it. "I'm so fucking done with your damn commentary.", he snarled out, his fangs slowly extending as he grits his teeth together.

"Hah! Things are fuckin heating up! I FUCKING LOVE THIS SHIT!", screamed Scorpion, despite his instincts telling him to flee, he rushed towards his possible victim at terrifying speeds.

Violently grabbing his face, Bullet Spider knees him in the chest with so much force it cracked the breast plate. "Shut up, you FUCKING NOBODY!", digging his talons into his helmet, he spun around before throwing him through several walls and right into one of the remaining cars in the parking lot.

"You think... I'm a nobody?!", Mac Gargan hissed at being called that, he could feel his rage overtake his excitement to kill Bullet Spider as he quickly scrambled up with an angered roar. "I'M NOT A FUCKING NOBODY! DO YOU HEAR ME?!"

"Oh I hear you. LOUD. AND. CLEAR!", with one more powerful punch to the center of his face, Bullet Spider knocked him off his feet.

Pooling every ounce of strength he had left in him, he launched a punch to Gargan's face with so much force it completely splintered the concrete around them and even shattered part of his helmet, exposing his bleeding and broken nose as he laid there. Unconscious.

Standing over his unconscious body, panting like an animal as his blood and sweat still stained his clothes, the poison still lingering in his body. Regardless of his poor condition, he raised an arm in the air with a toothy grin still carved into his lips. "Spider Slayer my fucking ass!"

Within the forest, The Prowler continued to evade the spinning saw blades and knives from Doc Ock's metallic tentacles. Cleaving directly through trees and barely grazing his reinforced suit. "You're such a fucking nuisance!", the crazed scientist screams out in anger and frustration at the slippery being that was Hobie.

"Yeah let me just allow you to cut my bits off, sounds like a wonderful idea!", The Prowler says as he pulled out a derringer from his other holster and began shooting. With an almost unnatural speed, a metallic tentacles sliced right through the bullet and sent its halves into the surrounding trees

Sliding across a tentacle that he dodged, he leapt up and dodged another tentacle that attempted to stab him and delivered a strong drop kick to Doc Ock's chest, sending her hurdling back into a clothesline from Bullet Spider.

"Oh fuck! Dude are you good?"

"THE FUCK DOES IT LOOK LIKE?!", The Bullet Spider exclaimed annoyed, the mask soaked in his own blood began dropping down and just slightly exposed his eye. "Let's bounce, we got what we came for!"

Leaping off the tree he had perched himself on, he adjusted both nozzles before firing repeated globs of webbing at the still discombobulated Doctor Octopus, she tried to bat it away but only got more webbing jamming her tentacles until they were completely encased in webbing. "How- DARE YOU?!-"

"Go fuck yourself.", both Bullet Spider and Prowler flipped her off before hopping away and into the darkness of he forest, leaving an annoyed yet... intrigued Octavius hanging.

Dragging Bullet Spider towards the entrance to the apartment building with a duffle bag nearby, the Prowler slowly and gently sat his friend down who coughed. "Scorpion really did a number on you, huh?"

"Nooooo... I just... fell down the stairs.", Bullet Spider says as he slipped off his mask, lowering his hoodie to showcase growing bruises and a bloody nose. "Ow-", he grabbed at his neck, removing his hand to see it was stained with blood. "Got my fuckin neck too."

His helmet folding away from his face as set down the CPU he still managed to carry to rest his arms. "On the bright side, you'll get some badass scars."

Jonah laughed before letting out a hoarse cough. "Ow- my sides hurt still.", he groaned as he managed to pull himself up. "What about the physical evidence?"

"Considering how banged up you are, you're gonna take a little bit to fully recover.", Hobie scratched his chin with his clawed gauntlet. "I'll do it alone this time... or just call in a favor."

"Huh?"

"Nothing.", Hobie deflected this as his helmet clicked around his head, the screens sliding into place as he picked up the CPU. "I'll deal with this, you just try not to bleed out and die up here, okay?"

Jonah scoffed with a smirk on his face. "Kiss my ass."

"That's the spirit, you're lookin better already.", The Prowler jokingly commented as he back flipped off the roof, the sounds of his grappling hook clinging onto a building was heard as he swung away.

Pulling himself up by his talons, he let out a pained groaned as he popped his shoulder. "Ow- feels like Rhino just sat on me."

Down within the apartment, Maya scrolled through her social media with a blank look on her face. She jolted up as the window to her bedroom was slid open, Bullet Spider limping in with an exhausted groan. "I'm back and I'm alive."

"Just barely.", Maya looked at him with wide eyes as she stood up, allowing Jonah to lean on her for support. "Okay, let's get you out of that... like seriously.", she says with a grimace as Jonah laughed.

"Okay."

The next few minutes was spent by Maya assisting Jonah out of his suit, carefully peeling away the articles of clothing that composed his suit and carefully placing them down in a small pile. Another few was spent by Maya tending to his still open wounds, apologizing periodically due to the stinging pain Jonah felt that briefly flared up.

Now wearing nothing but dark blue sweat pants, Jonah laid on her bed right next to her, dark bruises scattered around his body as he just stared at the ceiling, his wounds wrapped up in bandages. "So... I fought my first female super villain, technically."

"Really?", Maya turned to him with a curious expression. "What was she like?"

"Chatty, aggravatingly stacked.", Jonah sighed as Maya nodded. "Y'know, the usual.", he coughs as he rolls over and snuggled up to Maya. She smiled as she began playing with his hair. "I fought a big scorpion... I punched the shit out of him, you should've been there, it was awesome."

Maya couldn't help but smile at him, her face flushed as she just kept playing with his hair. "I'm sure it was."

Olivia Octavius plucked the last bits of webbing she could reach from her arms as her feet's softly met with the asphalt. She looked at Mac Gargan in disappointment as she passed his unconscious body, the missing chunk of helmet began to close in on itself.

"At least the self repair function works.", Octavius unraveled her tentacles and entered the second floor, her goggles glowing as she could see one long, thin spike on the ground. "There you are!"

With a crazed grin, she picked up the broken off stinger from Scorpion, still coated with the now dried blood of Bullet Spider.
