"Graham I just really want to go home," Ace complains as Graham follows the directions given to him by Nyssa.

"I know Honey; I promise you right after we eat, we can take you home."

"My place is private and has food."

"Ace they were worried about you too, that office was tense and quiet except when I was making tea for the three of us."

"Neeka?"

"Knew someone had to work, so left us in your office while she kept working."

"Ok." Graham pulls up to a small two-story house.

"This is it?"

"Yep," Ace gets out of the car and waits as Graham turns off the engine and exits the car. He takes her hand and brings it up to his lips.

"You have no idea how much that scared me." Ace looks at Graham with shining eyes. The door opens up and Tegan steps out.

"Oi, you two dinner is almost ready, and if I know Ace she wants to go home."

"Come on Honey, let's go eat." Graham, whose hand never left Ace's, drags her by it and they walk up the porch steps.

As everyone sits down at the table Graham looks around at the family. Everyone is slightly teasing the others. "So Graham, when are you going to kiss Ace here," Graham who had just taken a drink spits it out avoiding choking on it as Ace pats and rubs his back.

"You guys know it takes two to kiss right," Ace asks as the man next to her is still trying to stop coughing from the surprising question from Neeka.

"It's just I already caught the two of you almost kissing last week." Ace and Graham look at each other smiling.

"Wait, you two haven't kissed yet," asked a shocked Tegan.

"No, we just became a we."

"Oh come on."

"Need I remind you of someone else that took oh how many years."

"She has got you there Mum," adds Adric. Everyone continues eating in silence, next thing Ace notices Graham is driving them back to her place.

"Ace we're here."

"Huh, what." Ace who had drifted off asks.

"We are at your place, how about you go and get into some comfy clothes while I make us something to drink."

"Ok, I will do that." Ace walks up to her bedroom as Graham goes to the kitchen, grabs some wine glasses and pours them both a little of the wine from the fridge, grabs some of the candles and takes them to the living room, turns down the lights, the lights the candles. Ace comes down wearing some sweats and an old tshirt. "What is all of this?"

"What I was planning to do when I came over tonight."

Ace walks closer to Graham, "were you trying to woo me?"

"Maybe a little," Graham shrugs.

Ace gives him a hug, "thank you."

"How about we move to the couch?" They move to the couch.

"I want to lay in your arms."

"We can make that work," Graham lays down and Ace lays on top of him, her head on his chest, she sighs. "Is this ok?"

"It's perfect." Ace barrows deeper into Graham's embrace, "this is exactly what I needed to take it easy."

"Is there anything else you need?"

Ace looks up into his eyes, "maybe this," their heads move closer and closer until there is a knock on the door, "come on, how come we keep getting interrupted."

"I don't know."

"Dorothy?"

"That's Liam, he must've heard about what happened." Ace gets up begrudgingly from Graham and the couch.

"Hello Liam."

"I just heard what happened."

"How?"

"There was a report that Dorothy McShane was in an accident, and you weren't answering your phone."

"A news report!" Ace nearly screams, "I left my phone upstairs."

Graham gets up and moves behind Ace, "is everything ok?"

"Now I see you weren't answering." Ace looks back at Graham and leans against him. "You two are finally an item.

Graham wraps his arms around Ace so she can relax even more, "we are."

"I see you are in good hands sis, I guess I can leave the two of you to it."

After Liam leaves Ace turns in Graham's arms, "let's go back to how we were."

"You are already in my arms."

"A very nice place to be," Ace wraps her arms around Graham. "Though I want to be laying down in them."

"That can be arranged." They move back to the couch and lay back into each other's arms.

"This is something I can get used to," Ace tells Graham.

"Me too." They lay there for a while just content in the other's arms that they are starting to fall for. "Ace?"

"Hmm?"

"How are you doing? Truthfully."

"A little sore, but this is helping me, relaxing with you. Though I wish we could stop being interrupted when we are about to kiss."

"You have no idea how much I want to kiss you."

"I have an idea, I also want to kiss you." They look into each other's eyes and smile, their heads move closer and closer, their eyes close and their lips finally meet in what is their first kiss. They each swear they hear fireworks as they continue to kiss.

When the need for air becomes apparent they break apart. "That was," Ace starts.

"Amazing," Graham finishes.

"It was," Ace resituates herself to she is more on top of Graham as she goes in for another kiss, her lips move on top of Graham, her tongue reaches out and runs along his lips asking permission to enter, which he grants. Their tongues meet and start to duel for dominance, with Ace winning. Smiling into the kiss as their tongues continue to dance no one hears Graham's phone go off. Graham's hands start to wander across Ace's back, "mmm," Ace moans into Graham's mouth or at least tries to as he tongue is still in his mouth. Graham's phone continues to go off, but he pays no attention to it, instead pays full attention to the mouth on his.

When they break both are out of breath. They now hear Graham's phone going off again. "Is that what I was hearing?"

"Look at your phone." Ace tells him while trying to sit up.

"I probably should," Graham reaches for his phone, "20 missed calls," he continues to scroll, "over the past half hour."

"That was some make out session," Ace jokes, "who are the calls from?"

"Yaz and Ryan."
