AN: It's been a rough time finding time to work on this chapter but it's done.
The light of the crystal ball glowed while purple brought up and showed visions of Lincoln.
Lincoln closed his eyes while make-up was applied to his face.
A door to a limousine opened and Lincoln got out while wearing a black tuxedo. He waved and smiled as he made his way across the red carpet with several photos of him being taken.
Outside Royal Woods Elementary School, Lincoln took a deep breath as he placed a hand on the front door and opened it.
He was met with cheers and applause; he had a shocked expression.
Lincoln shook a hand and received cash.
Lincoln stood at a podium signing autographs for several men, women, and children.
Dodgeball was in full swing as Girl Jordan threw a red ball which hit her opponent in the face.
She smiled as she bent over backwards, raising an arm to catch the ball, and hurled it back at her opponent.
She wasn't in a good mood because she was winning at dodgeball, she was in a good mood because that creep Andrew was suspended along with the rest of ALG. Angry parents confronted the principal and demanded something be done about the ALG for riling the mob up.
"Left!" Clyde shouted as he, Liam, Rusty, Stella, and Zach stood in line while shifting left to dodge a ball.
"Right!" Clyde shouted as they dodged another.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Lincoln yelled.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Conner yelled.
They both screamed at the same time while they grabbed the same red ball, trying to pull it away from the other. The ball was stuck above the line as they pulled.
Liam stared at the two from their snake formation then groaned, "Not 'gain."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The two rivals continued yelling.
"What's wrong with those two? There's a whole bunch of balls by their feet." Stella said incredulously.
A red ball then hit her in the face. Mark smirked as he took advantage of his target's distraction. He picked up another ball and performed a cartwheel while throwing the ball as he was in the air. "Right!" Clyde shouted.
Clyde and his remaining group shifted to the right, evading it.
Mark frowned, not this time. He grabbed red balls in each hand, he threw one.
"Left!" Clyde shouted.
Mark smirked and aimed the second ball.
As Clyde and his group shifted to the left, his head was jerked back as a red ball hit him in the face.
Zach jumped as he was standing behind Clyde before the conspiracy theorist was hit in the gut by a ball.
Before Liam could shout a command for him and Rusty to shift in a direction. They were both hit with red balls, Liam in the leg and Rusty in the side of the face.
Chloe smiled as she dealt with the two redheads. She ducked under a red ball thrown by Girl Jordan and returned fire.
Lincoln and Conner continued screaming at each other until Conner gave a mighty tug, removing the ball from Lincoln's grasp and threw it at Lincoln's stomach.
Conner sneered at his defeated opponent and then turned to the last member of the opposite team, Girl Jordan.
"Easy win." Conner grinned.
Mark nodded with a chuckle.
Knowing what Conner was planning, Girl Jordan reeled in her anger. She thought about imagining the three with Andrew's face but opted not too. She needed to hit them with the balls, not claw their faces in.
"Fire!" Chloe shouted as she and her two friends threw the red balls.
Girl Jordan ducked under a ball and leaped over one aiming for her feet. She ran to avoid the balls. Seeing one on the floor, she bent down but abandoned the plan hen one almost hit her hand. She turned to see a grinning Chloe.
"Man, Girl Jordan sure has her hands full this round. Huh, Lincoln?" Rusty said.
Lincoln looked up from his notebook and said. "Yeah, I have faith in her though."
With that, Lincoln returned to his notebook as he drew Wild Dice running through the forest.
Colin heard the sound of gunshots and the screams of some people. Alarmed, Colin stalked through the forest to check the noise out. He stood next to a tree and saw a Citro Trooper lying on the ground. His armored suit was covered in sharp marks and a small puddle of blood formed where he laid. A lantern was on the ground next to the Citro Trooper's left hand which caused visibility for Colin to see the Citro Trooper's helmet had been slashed off revealing his pale face.
Swallowing, Colin approached the Citro Trooper on the ground. The Citro Trooper soon made choking noises and looked in Colin's direction.
He shakily raised a hand, silently begging for help. Colin was about to help but heard another child laughing.
"Heh! Heh! Heh!"
Suddenly, the Citro Trooper was dragged into the darkness by the other arm and out of sight. Colin heard his blood curdling screams along with the sound of the child's laughter and flesh being torn apart.
Colin turned and ran. He heard the sound of the running footsteps chasing after him. Along with the sounds of haunting sounds of children's laughing.
Lincoln looked up to see Girl Jordan chucking a ball which hit Conner on the side of the face. The white-haired boy laughed at Conner's face as he fell over and went back to his comic. He drew Wild Dice being followed by unknown to the viewers, the Shadow Children.
He heard the other students making loud noises and turned to see Girl Jordan throwing a ball at Mark who was in the middle of a backflip. Mark landed on his feet, but he was out.
Now it was just to Girl Jordan and Chloe.
Lincoln both drew and looked at the fierce dodgeball competition. He drew Wild Dice running into a rundown school. Of Wild Dice looking at a child in black and green looking at him from behind a corner before merging into the shadows on the wall.
Colin looked around as he entered the dark empty classroom. The only light shown was from the moon outside. He looked around as he watched, not aware of one of the shadows on the floor moving. He was about to reach the door that led to a different classroom before he heard something. He turned around to see a shadow growing and morphing into a child his age.
The child wore a black suit with red outlines. The red outlines on the helmet showed cartoonish-sharp teeth. A sword out of shadows morphed in his hands.
The Red Shadow lunged at Colin, who ducked under the swipe and barged through the door, entering a connected classroom. The redhead closed the door behind him and locked it.
Colin backed away from it with a scared look. The door started banging, causing him to jump. He looked around and ran.
The banging on the door stopped and soon a dark shadow crawled out from under the door. When the shadow grew and Red Shadow popped out from the floor, he looked around, but Colin was gone.
Red Shadow looked under a desk by the window and saw no one. While Red Shadow looked elsewhere, Colin came out from under the teacher's desk and shot his palms out. Red Shadow turned around to be hit with a red beam.
Stevie's voice was heard screaming as Red Shadow was blown out of the window by the beam, shattering the glass in the process. Colin approached the broken window and saw Red Shadow laying on the ground. But then, Red Shadow melted into the ground and scurried away.
Colin turned and ran out of the classroom; he turned down the corner and stopped. There was another kid in a black suit but this one had pink outlines.
The redhead stared at Pink Shadow with an alarmed look. Pink Shadow tilted her head to one side then tilted it to the other.
Then she started to dance. She bobbed her head to the left, bobbed her head to the right, performed in Irish step dance. Colin's jaw dropped as he stared in complete confusion.
Pink Shadow then began to swirl in his direction.
When she was close enough she formed two shadow sickles in her hands and swung them down. Colin blocked the attack with his energy arm blade.
"Dance, Jordan, dance!" Chloe taunted as she threw another ball.
Girl Jordan reeled her head back as a ball was inches from hitting her nose as she ran.
Chloe smirked and threw another one as Girl Jordan leaped over it. She dodged another ball, she had to return fire.
Girl Jordan grabbed a ball narrowly avoiding another ball hitting her hand.
On the other side, Chloe realized she had one ball left and aimed carefully while running to her right. Girl Jordan ran to her right as well. Both girls reeled their hands, aiming at the direction their opponents would be in.
They threw their red balls. The red balls passed each other.
Chloe was hit in the head, then Jordan was hit in the head. The impact sent them both to the gym floor.
Girl Jordan fell over but she recovered and got up. Chloe was hit first, Girl Jordan had won.
Her classmates cheered for her.
The school bell rung, signaling the end of elementary school. Lincoln walked with his friends down the hallway among the mass of children.
Lincoln thought about how he should have all five of the Shadow Children: Red Shadow, Pink Shadow, Blue Shadow, White Shadow, and Green Shadow chase Wild Dice while Ace Savvy fends off the Shadow Man. He also wanted to include a part where Blue Shadow tossed Wild Dice into a pit where the mutated panther, the Kitty lay and the Shadow Kids would cheer on for the Kitty to eat Wild Dice. Ace would drop down and grab Dice and they left the abandoned school. It would end with the Shadow Man watching the brothers escape with a serious look on his face. After he's done with this issue, then he'll move on to the next one where Ace Savvy and Wild Dice will sneak outside of the Citro City so they can-
"You've seen that trailer, Lincoln?"
Annoyed that his imagination was interrupted, he turned around and saw Conner who was flanked by Mark and Chloe.
"For the Full House Gang movie? Yeah." Lincoln said with a chuckle. The trailer was awful, but it still brought him amusement to this day. His thoughts went back to daydreaming scenes he could put in Ace Savvy - Godzilla. He then resumed walking, wanting to go back to what scenes he'd put in the issue.
Lincoln grits his teeth as the Shadow Man slammed him into the wall with his morphed, gigantic, clawed hand that kept him in place. The Shadow Man peered down and came face to face with Lincoln. The Shadow Man smiled.
"Well, haven't you let a big mess be created out of your piss work," Conner said. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked in their direction.
Lincoln clenched his teeth for losing his train of thought. He turned around and faced Conner with a scowl.
Every kid in the hallway stopped and gathered around. Battles between Lincoln and Conner were frequent throughout Royal Woods. Many wondered what was going to break out. It was rare for the fight to take place in school, yet they watched.
"What do you want, Conner?" Lincoln asked, wanting to get back to working on his passion project.
"Show of hands, how many of you think the Full House Gang - Rise for Power is going to be good?" Conner asked to the crowd that circled them. Mark snorted at what the beanie-wearing kid said.
No one raised their hand. Clyde made a movement to lift his hand but didn't have the heart to raise it fully.
"The trailer was horrible and disgusting, and your lunatic sister posted a picture of a dog's butt."
"Bleh!" Lincoln blurted out with a look of disgust. His reaction was shared by others who walked by.
"Poop jokes and overcorrecting people, though I can't be surprised," Conner said as he smirked. "Considering the source material."
"What's that supposed to mean?" The question came from Clyde.
"The Full House Gang, the one Lincoln turned into the contest, was a piece of crap."
"What are you talking about? Lincoln's comic won the contest." Girl Jordan asked.
'A contest where all participants submit mediocre work.' Mark wrote through his tablet.
"Yeah, why did you think I didn't attend." Conner said before grinning, "I'm surprised you even entered, Lincoln. After all, it's hard to downplay yourself when the competitors aren't that skilled."
Lincoln said nothing, just glared at Conner.
"The Full House Gang comic were awesome!" Clyde defended.
"The Full House Gang felt like props instead of heroes." Chloe said.
"I'm not alone. In fact, your friend Zach," Conner started.
Realizing what Conner was about to say, Zach ushered a "No!", while crossing his hands to protest.
"Said that he didn't like the comic and said that Wild Card Willy was forgiven too easily." Conner finished, ignoring Zach's protest.
Zach gave Lincoln a nervous chuckle.
"In fact, other Ace Savvy fans seemed to dislike it."
Mark held out his tablet and displayed a compilation of clips.
"So what did you think about the Ace Savvy Full Deck comic?" Conner's voice asked as the video displayed a dark-skinned comic.
"I mean…it's…alright." Joey said, walking down the sidewalk.
"It was lame." Francisco said, as he was checking through his hockey gear.
"Good artwork style but held back real nonsense even by Ace Savvy craziness." Some female high scholar said.
"They're abilities aren't really impressive." A burly biker said.
"Boring, none of the Full House Gang members were worth remembering." A woman said.
"The Full Deck comic was a piece of crap!" Mr. Bolhofner said angrily before calmly saying, "Should have at least added a Kaiju."
"There are plenty of more less-than-positive responses," Conner said as Mark stopped the video.
"B-but it won the contest." Girl Jordan defended.
"Yes, with other contestants as abysmal writing," Chloe said bluntly.
"Tell me. Did any of you actually read the Full Deck comic more than once?" asked Conner with a grin and a raised eyebrow.
"Of course, we did," Clyde said confidently, not noticing how his friends froze at Conner's question. "Right, guys?"
"Ah..have bin…busy." Liam tried to say.
"Busy with better comics?" Conner asked. None of Lincoln's other friends knew what to say.
'Quite the pause there." Mark typed on his tablet with an unimpressed look.
"Not even your friends like your work." Conner mocked.
"It-its's not Lincoln's fault, I just hate seeing Lola's stupid face." Paige said defensively.
"Same here!" Pam said from the crowd.
"You see Lincoln, the Full Deck comic was a piece of crap." Conner said, turning back to Lincoln, "But I have a proposition for you."
The blond took out a contract and a pen.
"Sign this and hand the rights to the Full House Gang over to me. I'll make it better and more profitable for the Ace Savvy franchise."
"You're going to fire his sisters and replace them, aren't you?!" Clyde accused,
"No doi." Conner said sarcastically to him before turning back to Lincoln with a smile.
"Well, we won't. Clincoln Mccloud won't ever agree to-"
Mark stood in front of Clyde and held out his tablet and wrote, 'The Full House Gang is not your property. You have no say in this.'
Clyde couldn't meet the mulatto preteen's eyes as he knew it was his own fault for not signing the contract to make the characters property like Lincoln did.
"Well, Lincoln. What's it going to be?", Conner asked, smirking at him.
The hallway watched in anticipation. Clyde looked worried. Mark watched Lincoln with jaded eyes. Conner's smirk grew. Chloe looked around at the people gathered. Girl Jordan studied Lincoln's face; he held no expression, but she could tell he was thinking it over. Stewie was licking his lips as he eyes Lincoln's arms, craving his flesh. Stevie was hiding behind Pam as he stared at Lincoln. Camille wanted to ask Lincoln something but decided to wait. Colin along with several others waited for Lincoln to come to a decision.
He took the contract and looked at it, the price Conner offered wasn't cheap. He took the pin and placed it by the signature. He thought about the convention, about Stether, about Bill Buck. He made his decision.
He handed the contract and pen back to Conner.
"I'll keep the Full House Gang." Lincoln said.
Conner didn't lose his smile. "My offer still stands even after the movie comes out."
Everyone started to depart until Camille walked up to the white-haired preteen and asked. "Lincoln, can I ask you something?"
"Of course, Camille." Lincoln said, giving the little girl a smile.
"Well, it's actually about your other Ace Savvy comic, the one you said you were making." Everyone stopped departing and formed the crowded circle again.
"The other Ace Savvy comic?" Lincoln asked. His face dawned a worried look.
"I know it's about Ace Savvy. But what is it about?"
"Yes, what is it about?" Conner asked with a frown, his tone laced with suspicion. Everyone stared at Lincoln, wanting to know his answer.
"We're waiting, Lincoln." Chandler said impatiently.
"It's about...well." Lincoln didn't know what to say, he wasn't ready to tell everyone what it was about. It wasn't even halfway done. He had other issues to make and other characters he hasn't finalized the design for. There's also the uncertainty with Bill Buck and Stether. Now was not the time to announce his passion project.
"I haven't gotten an idea of what it's about." Lincoln lied.
"Wait, you said it was about Ace Savvy fighting a gigantic threat." Chloe said.
Lincoln cursed as he was caught in his own lie. Well, I was thinking about it but haven't gotten the right materials and my ideas are constantly changing. Plus, I haven't gotten Bill Buck's permission." Lincoln lied.
"Oh," Camille said with disappointment. "I was gonna ask for a peak."
"I promise, the character I based off you will get a big part in it when it's finished." Lincoln said.
"What about the rest of us?" Scotty asked with a frown on his face.
"You also get parts in the story." Lincoln confirmed. "You'll get some real cool fight scenes."
"Wicked!" Stuart said, pumping his fist in the air.
"But I'm the star, of course." Chandler said with his nose in the air.
Lincoln didn't say that the character based off Chandler, Arson, one of the villains and the leader of the Meta Frontier who plotted to start an army with other Metas and revolt against Clue…make of that what you will.
Some kids in the crowd were a little peeved they were not approached to appear in this comic. They all began to depart again though Conner remained. His eyes narrow in suspicion at his rival before leaving.
Lincoln glared at him, relieved Conner didn't pressure him about it.
"So, you're not going to fire them?" Colin asked.
"Not yet." Lincoln confirmed.
He eyed Colin, who was unusually quiet. Knowing Colin, he would have expected him to ask non-stop questions about his Ace Savvy project. The preteen was surprised by the redhead's resistance.
He exited the school. Keeping the look out from any mobbers, he still got screamed at and they painted death threats on the garage, but they didn't attempt to kill him since then. Though he knew Boy Jordan was still trying to amp them up to start again. Honestly, how did the whole Anti-Lincoln Group grow to this level.
A purple truck stopped right next to him. Expecting it be another nutjob he reached for his back pocket and readied to use the taser. But stopped when a man asked.
"You're Luan's brother, right?" A man from inside the truck asked. Lincoln looked at the truck to find that it had the Fanny's Prank Emporium symbol on it,
"Yeah. But if you're looking for her, you're not going to reach her. She ran off to star in the movie." Lincoln said, before continuing his path to his home.
"Wait, wait. You've seen her perform comedy and use the supplies from Fanny's Prank Emporium, right?"
"More than I ought to." Lincoln answered, remembering all those horrible April Fools Days
"How verse are you in entertainment? How would you like to earn some money?" The man asked.
The Loud sisters followed Preston and Piper behind the curtains to see a woman.
"Hello, I am Maisie Pegster, the chairperson of Stether, and I've come to tell you fantastic girls that you have all won the contest."
The sisters cheered excitedly. The two judges made it easy for them to win but hearing how their victory was official, made them ecstatic.
"So, when do we need to show up for our cameos?" Lori asked with an eager smile.
"Oh, you're not going to be mere cameos." Maisie explained, "You're all going to be the main stars of the movie."
"REALLY!" The whole sisters shouted with even more excitement. Lucy grinned while Lily smiled even wider, but frowned as she realized her brother was nowhere in sight.
Maisie then handed each of them folders that contained stacks of papers.
"Now sign these papers and we can announce you girls as the winners."
"Got it!" Lola said as she snatched the pen out of the hand and signed her name on the final page of the packets. Lynn also put her name down, then Lana, then Leni.
Lisa watched her sisters with a frown. "Sister units it is wise that we all analyze all the documents before-"
"Oh shut it! No one wants to hear your nerd talk." Lynn interrupted.
Lisa glared at her before putting her name down.
Lori frowned as she read some of the documents. "'I acknowledge that Stether will have the right to deduct from your payment. I, alone, am responsible for all incidents I am involved with while employed by Stether.'"
"Incidents? What kind of incidents?" Luna asked Maisie.
"Don't worry about it." Maisie said, waving it off. "Just sign the documents already."
Taking the chairperson's word for it, Luna signed the documents. Lori hesitated a bit before signing it.
"As much as I'm happy that we get to star in the movie," Luan said with a smile before frowning. "Shouldn't we see the script first?"
"That won't be necessary." Preston said, waving off her question.
"Aren't actors supposed to see the script before they sign up?" Luan asked.
"Oh, will you just sign it already?!" Lynn said, getting impatient.
"But what if the movie is bad?" Luan asked.
"Maybe you two made a bad call with this one." Maisie said, looking over at the judges with a frown.
"We can just write Joker out of the movie." Piper suggested.
"I'll happily take over her screen time!" Lola said, raising her hand with an eager smile.
""No!" Luan protested. "I'll sign it!"
She snatched the pen out of Lisa's hand and placed it on the paper. Every feeling in her body was telling her to wait, to stop, to think. She realized too late that she had already signed it.
"Very good." Maisie said with a smile and took the papers with Luan's signature.
The 14-year-old opened her mouth but closed it. For the rest of the night she grinned at being in the movie but deep within her heart she had a dreaded feeling.
Luan really wished she didn't sign that contract. She knew she had only herself to blame. All because she wanted a win over Kyle.
That's kind of the reason why they all wanted to be in a movie. For the past few weeks, they have been on losing streaks. What's worse is that they have been losing to their rivals who took delight in rubbing salt in their wounds. Except for Lynn because Sapphire doesn't brag, Luan wished this made Lynn lose her gloating nature. Lily, because well…she's a baby and doesn't have a rival. Leni also doesn't have a rival unless you count Claira, who doesn't do fashion designing. Lisa sees that genius girl, Inori, as her rival but Inori herself isn't as hostile toward Lisa as their own rivals. Luan knew for a fact that Conner would rub his victories in Lincoln's face but she didn't think Lincoln was in losing streaks. It was more even with the two of them, sometimes Lincoln won and sometimes Conner won. Well at least that's what she thought.
Her brother really didn't really see the family coming to his events as much of a necessity as they did, especially Lynn. Luan suspected that Lincoln didn't really want them there. He refused to even let his sisters even look at his artwork. Although to be fair, Lana ruined one painting on the day he was tasked with presenting it. So Lincoln ended up dropping out of the presentation.
The comedian's thoughts went to the movie. She saw how some movies were redeemed in some people's eyes for their endings.
The scripts everyone was given ended at the second half of the movie. At first, Luan thought that her copy was missing the rest of the script but then she looked at Lana's copy and found it was also missing the rest.
She approached Preston and Piper who were in the middle of shooting a scene with Lori and Rube.
"And cut!" Piper said with a smile.
"Good job girls, that was very well done." Preston said, congratulating them.
"Thank you, I thought I would have struggled with it." Rube said with a smile before walking off.
"Um, can we please redo the scene?" Lori asked, "I don't think I acted that well."
"Don't worry about it, the dialogue we wrote was fantastic and is sure to teach people the correct terms to speak." Piper said, brushing off Lori's concern.
"Um, that wasn't what I-" Lori tried to say before Luan cut her off.
"Hey, guys. Can I ask you something about the script?"
"How many times do we have to tell you?!" Preston said, scowling at the brunette. "The film is good and doesn't need any modifications!"
"Actually, I came to ask about the rest of the script." Luan stated. "What happens after the dance scene?"
"Oh we'll work on that after we film the best part of the movie." Preston said.
All the color drained from Lori and Luan.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. Are you telling me that this script has no third act?" Luan asked.
"Yeah, we haven't made it yet." Piper stated.
Lori was starting to lose her cool, "So this film has no ending."
"Not at the moment." Preston added.
"Listen, I have an idea that solves everyone's problem. Let's just look at the most popular Ace Savvy comic and make a movie about that instead." Luan said. "Think about it, you can hire some good-looking guy to play Ace Savvy while me and my sisters can just leave to save you guys money and we won't even whine about not being paid."
At least, she wouldn't.
Both Preston and Piper gasped in horror.
"HOW DARE YOU!" Preston shrieked.
"We will not subject people to watching that toxic hero poisoning the minds of people everywhere!" Piper shouted.
"We are making the film with the genius script we made!" Preston shouted before adding, "Now go away and Lori go into the next room and get ready for the camera!"
Before Lori could say anything, both her arms were grabbed by security guards, and she was basically dragged out of the room with a nervous look.
"Alright, I'll make the announcements for the comic spin offs." Piper said to Preston and left the room.
Watching the directors leave, Luan looked around for any pillow she could use to scream all her frustration into.
Later at night.
Monotone laughter filled the room as the Grave Club watched the Full House Gang movie trailer on the projection for the thirteenth time. They especially took delight in taking screenshots of each sister in their costumes.
"Alright, that was fun, now let's get back to work." Azra said.
Half of the Grave Club worked on the settings for the funeral of a second grader's deceased ant farm. The other half worked on giant posters for each of the Loud sisters,
"Remember, they all need to still be recognizable." Sintho reminded the members working on the posters.
Azra walked around, observing the progress the club was making. She smirked as she looked at the design of Lucy. It wasn't finished but she couldn't wait until that poster was displayed where everyone could watch it.
"Let's hope Princess Pony Girl doesn't get killed by her normie brother when she comes back." Sintho said as he joined his leader and girlfriend.
"We can hope he controls that beast that lies within his heart for a while." Azra said.
Her phone beeped, she took it out and gazed at it with a jaded expression. She grinned at what it read.
"What happened?" Sintho asked, knowing whatever was going to be said had to be good if his girlfriend was smiling.
"Tessa ordered us to release the recording."
"Wait, you mean the recording of…" Sintho asked.
"Yes." Azra said, the two shared sinister smiles.
When Sam woke up and got dressed for the weekend, she looked at her phone for any messages from any of her friends. She wanted to practice
It was titled, the Loud Sisters' Plan. Confused, she clicked on it to discover the video was an audio recording of the sisters from three different bathroom schools conversing
their plan and coming to the conclusion to steal Vanzilla and drive away to Stether. The recording also showed how they conspired to keep Lincoln out of the movie and how they disobeyed their angry parents. The video did not paint the sisters in a positive light.
"Damn it, Luna." Sam cursed.
—
The next morning, Lincoln's friends waited for Lincoln to appear when he popped in the screen.
"Hey, guys. What's up?" Lincoln greeted, as he put the finishing touches on his comic. He wanted to know if they were able to reach someone from previous Ace Savvy projects. He was met with nervous looks from each of them.
"Is everything alright?" Lincoln asked in a concerned tone.
"Lincoln, a video was posted last night about your sisters plotting against you to keep you out of the movie." Rusty explained.
The others expected Lincoln's face to turn red and for his cowlick to erupt but that didn't happen. Lincoln remained unfazed.
"Yeah, I figured." Lincoln said, simply.
"Wait, you knew that they were planning?" Paige asked in shock.
"At first, I thought they were just letting their excitement go to their heads. Until after I got home, and they went to bed early. Then the next night they leave early in the morning with the kitchen a mess and later on that same day they run away from home and head to Hollywood." Lincoln said.
"Too be honest, I'm angrier with Lola portraying me as a freaking Nazi." Lincoln said in a serious tone. He decided to change the subject. "But there are more important things to be worrying about, anyway. Have you guys been able to reach anyone from the movies or tv shows? I tried contacting Susan Meglan, the actress who played Ace Savvy's love interest in the Golden Trilogy but she soon hung up. She seemed scared when I asked about Stether."
"I was able to reach several actors from the Golden Trilogy movies but as soon as I brought up Stether, they hung up." Stella stated.
"Same thing happened to me." Zach said.
"None of dem even had duh slightest clue where Buck was?"
"So we're back to square one." Girl Jordan said.
"Well, hang on. We haven't called exactly everyone." Clyde informed.
"Why are they so afraid of Stether, anyway? They make movies, they're not some secret organization or anything." Paige asked with an annoyed look.
"Maybe not to break a contract?" Rusty suggested.
"They could be a secret organization, plotting world domination." Zach theorized.
"I checked Stether's Rise for Power movie online, and no one from any of the previous Ace Savvy projects are involved." Paige said.
"Let's just keep trying to contact those we haven't contacted yet. If none of them answer, then we'll come up with something else." Girl Jordan suggested.
The Loud sisters watched from the television as their meeting was discussed. All varying reactions of horror, except Luan who lips slowly curled upward. Everyone knew what they had done, on how they tried to keep Lincoln out of the movie.
"Oh no. Lincoln's going to be so mad at me." Leni said in a sad tone.
"Whelp," Luan said, clapping her hands, "it's been fun but since you guys don't want us to hire us for the thing we did. We'll just head back to the hotel to pack up and go home." The fourth oldest sister was all too happy to leave the production of the movie.
"Yeah, don't let the door kick you girls on the way out." Darly said with a sneer, waving at them.
"WHAT, NO!" Lana screamed.
Lori, Leni, Luan, Lisa and Lily watched as the others ran to the duo directors and the chairperson of Stether, all protesting as they didn't want to leave.
"You guys can't fire us!" Luna said.
"I can't miss out on my chance for greater fame!" Lola cried.
"Yeah, how else am I supposed to prove I'm the greatest," Lynn yelled through her pain as she hadn't fully recovered from her beating and didn't tell the others what happened.
The oldest would not mind going home and was prepared to drag her sisters off the three and drag them out. Lily smiled, now she can go back and fix things so Lincoln wouldn't hate her. Lisa just went back to looking at her notes, she didn't want to leave but her research was just as important.
"Girls, relax. We aren't gonna fire you." Piper reassured them.
"YES!" Most of the sisters, including Lisa, cried out in happiness.
"No!" Luan cursed.
"He's right. You girls did the right thing in cutting that toxic boy out." Maise said with an approving voice, the sisters stopped smiling after that.
"Just let me run to Kell, so I can convince her to keep you on." Maisie said as she ran out of the room before the sisters could say anything.
"Yeah, none of you are as important as me, Rube, and Dominic. Isn't that right, Rube?" Darly said with a smirk.
The two adult actors said nothing as Dominic was quietly rehearsing from a piece of paper and Rube was texting on her phone.
"Yeah, sure." Rube said, not caring about the conversation.
Luna scowled at Darly, that little brat has been getting on her nerves. She stomped toward a curly haired blonde. "Alright, listen you little-"
Whatever Luna was about to do had evaporated as one of the security guards stood in front of her and placed a high-tech sword up to her neck in warning.
"I'm sorry, KISS Wannabe, what did you want me to listen to? Hopefully, not any of your terrible music that would make anyone wish they were deaf."
Luna growled as she couldn't do anything to that brat. The guard placed the high-tech sword away and pushed her into a chair.
"Finally, your cute brother's on the screen." Darly said, looking at the television with a smile.
It displayed Lincoln looking at the trailer on his phone. At first he looked stunned, then he burst out laughing, he was holding his stomach, then dropping to the ground and banging his fist on the floor as he laughed.
"Yay! Lincoln likes the trailer!" Leni said happily. The other sisters did not share Leni's enthusiasm.
If this was how Lincoln reacted, as they're currently not Lincoln's favorite people right now, Luan could only dread how Kyle was reacting to that awful trailer.
"How dare that toxic brat laugh at our movie!" Preston growled. Piper also scowled as he watched that awful boy make a mockery of their movie. They'll make sure to deal with that boy so he wont spread his toxicness.
Maisie rushed up the building, her heels making loud noises. As she arrived at the top of the building. She knocked on Kell's office, not regarding the two security guards who did not give her a second glance.
"Come in." Kell voiced from inside.
Maisie slammed the door open and rushed to Kell who sat behind her desk, looking at different files.
"Ms. Tetherby, please don't fire them," Maisie begged.
"Why not? Those girls are not popular enough in the movie industry like Dominic and Rube, and they are not tied with anyone who can secure funding like Darly." Kell said, not looking up. "Just make a movie with those three as the main stars."
"But Ms. Tetherby, think about the Full House Gang brand." Maisie insisted.
Kell pulled out her tablet and types something in it before placing it down while faced up. It showed the Full House Gang review score which was a 6/10.
"Okay, that was because it's actually toxic as the main kid character didn't even address them as-"
"As stated before, I do not care about Ace Savvy. I don't even know why the hell it's even popular. But it always made money, that is why I kept that dirty old man around. Nothing more."
"Yes but think of all the new audiences we can bring in with the Full House Gang. We'll make even more money than Buck ever could."
Kell looked up and gazed at Maisie, the look of the CEO made Maisie shudder. She had been giving Maisie a lot of freedom as the chairperson of Stether. The CEO nearly strangled Maisie when she pushed out Bill Buck out of the movie and fired him, it was only after Maisie reassured her that they didn't need Buck anymore and that they were now the sole owners of the Ace Savvy franchise.
Kell was generous in giving the Full House Gang a high budget and Maisie paid a hefty amount for the marketing and merchandise. Whatever, the Ace Savvy fanbase will pay for whatever crap comes out of that brand.
"Fine."
"Kell, thank you. I just know we can properly educate th-"
"I don't care for your message." Kell said, returning her eyes to the documents. "All I want is for that movie to break even and make me money. Just make sure that happens."
The last shreds of hope of leaving production of this film were crushed as Maisie came back and told them that Kell wouldn't be firing them. Then Maisie said that they needed to restore some good will for the movie. Preston and Piper had the idea to entertain kids at a children's hospital. Luan didn't know what happened after Maisie enthusiastically agreed to the idea or how her sisters reacted. She just turned and walked out of the room. She didn't care if she had a scene she needed to get away from the set, away from this disaster of a movie. The contract said that she would get to be in several different movies, where hopefully the writing is better, but Luan still wished she never signed it.
Luan looked to the side, glancing at the different rooms that showed different sets of other movies.
She didn't see that she bumped into something hairy. "Oh sorry, I was just-" Luan looked up to see a smiling face of a monster.
"AH!" Luan shrieked in fear as she dropped to her bottom and crawled backwards. She looked up into the face of a big green rabbit with a cartoonish smiling face.
It stared down at her, not moving an inch. This animatronic honestly creeped her out, it looked like it was from one of those horror games Lincoln played, the one where an animatronic leaped at the screen in a jump scare.
"Uh…" Luan said, freaked out by its smiling face as it watched her get up. It continued to stare at her as she walked around it. Not liking how this thing was still staring at her, she bolted without looking back to see if the rabbit animatronic stopped staring at her.
She entered a door that led to a stairwell and went upstairs to enter another floor. Her phone beeped and it was Benny trying to fake call her.
"Luan!" Benny said frantically as Luan's phone showed boyfriend's terrified face.
"Hey, Benny." Luan said without enthusiasm.
"Luan, listen to me! Everyone knows what you and-"
"Yeah, I know." Luan informed.
"Then you know what your brother's going to do once you and your sisters come back!" Benny screamed, "What were you thinking!? Have you forgotten the 'bad luck incident'!?"
The door to the dressing room slammed open as Luan was hurled out. The teen groaned and got up to see Lincoln stomping out with a furious expression. He was tackled by Benny who tried to hold him down.
"Knock it off!" Benny shouted as he attempted to pin the preteen down on his back.
"Screw you!" Lincoln shouted as he struck Benny across the face with his fist before driving his foot into the teen's stomach. Benny stumbled back and ran toward Lincoln to stop him from going after Luan.
Lincoln took out his paintball pistol and fired. Benny was hit in the right shoulder coating it in purple, then he was hit in the stomach coating it in yellow, then he was hit in the forehead coating it in blue.
Benny fell forward onto his stomach, unconscious.
Lincoln turned his rage-fill eyes on Luan's retreating form. The comedian booked it as her brother gave chase. She burst through a double door and looked around panting. She heard the beating footsteps on the other side of the door and quickly ran up the stairs.
She heard the double door open and just ran even faster. Lincoln looked around furiously.
"Get back here, Luan!" Lincoln shouted from below.
"LUAAAAAAN!" Lincoln shouted with all the rage in his voice. Luan found another door and readied a prop sword to defend herself.
"YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME! I'LL CHASE YOU DOWN TO THE ENDS OF THE EEEEAAAARRRRTTTTHHHH!" His voice was mixed with that of a demon as he ran up the stairs.
"Of course, I remember." Luan said. After a brief fight, Lincoln stuck a needle in her, then she woke up in her house strapped to the kitchen table with duct tape. Then Lincoln put a long straw in her mouth and linked the other side of the straw to Dad's awful cabbage casserole.
"Wasn't your dad's expired cooking a bit much?" Benny said.
"It wasn't," Luan grumbled.
"Besides," Luan started, "Lincoln's wrath is the least thing I'm worried about right now. Did you see the trailer?"
"Yeah." Benny said, wanting to block out those poop jokes from the trailer.
"Well the full thing is actually the worst. Every character, male and female, is either a jerk, stupid, inept, or all three. High Card is treated as a perfect goddess despite her questionable actions and is never called out for it. Saver, one of the villains, is supposed to be seen as a sympathetic villain but she tortures and kills Ace Savvy in the first five minutes because he 'saved her without her consent'."
"Wait, what?" Benny asked.
"Yes, that is seriously her motivation. The backstory they gave to they gave to Count Imp-whatever is that when he was a little boy some kid said that his costume was ridiculous on." Luan said.
"Is the ending good at least?" Benny asked.
"This film doesn't even have an ending; the second act of the script ends with a dance scene caused by the main antagonist," Luan explained, irritated that the director duo failed to mention before they signed up. "God, I got myself into this train wreck of a film that's going to turn me into a laughingstock if Lincoln doesn't kill me first."
"Hey, it's okay we've been in a few plays that…could have been better," Benny said, specifically about the plays from elementary school. Huggins's idea of a play was an educational one that bored everyone to tears.
Luan then thought about Lincoln.
"Wait, where was Lincoln during that convention?" Luan asked out loud. She was aware that the plan was to push Lincoln out of the movie, but she expected Lincoln to try harder to be included.
Benny sent her a link of a video. She watched as it displayed Lincoln watching the sisters walk off with the directors only to freeze in place like he was brainwashed, then he blinked and looked around before placing a hand on his chin with a thoughtful look. Then he stopped Clyde from following them and they walked in the opposite direction.
"Of course, Lincoln dodged the bullet," Luan grumbled. "Probably making plans to star in a movie with actual good writers."
"You think he's already been casted in a movie?" Benny asked, he had seen Lincoln on the news because of that crazy mob but nothing about getting a role in a movie.
"Probably, you can't always trust what he says," Luan stated.
"What do you mean?" Benny asked.
"My brother is a liar." Luan told her boyfriend through the prone. "Coming in last place in a marathon, losing badly in a karate tournament, and losing in a beauty pageant are all lies he told us. He tied with that brat, Connor, in first place with that marathon. He came in second place behind Conner in that karate tournament. And if you really think about it, don't you think Lincoln is smart enough to sign up for a beauty pageant at the age range of SIX-YEAR-OLDS for FEMALE participants WITHOUT dressing himself up?!"
Luan knew there were such things as male beauty pageants, Lola had sometimes demanded that they support her 'Prince Charming Winston' in his beauty pageants.
"Why would he lie about those things?" Benny asked, confused.
"Motivation. He imagines himself losing so he'll be better motivated to improve himself. That's what Io said at least." Luan said.
"The smartest girl in Royal Woods that everyone except Lisa loves?" Benny asked.
"Yeah, her." Luan said, "All the events Lincoln goes to kendo matches, paintball matches, go-kart racing, art contests, martial arts, video game tournaments, whatever the name of that game where he goes inside the video game. In five years, he never told us about his events. He never even puts the trophies and rewards he wins from them into the trophy case."
"When we found out and confronted him about it, he told us that he'll invite us to his next event but every time he does tell us he has an event coming up, it conveniently takes place at the same time with either mine or a different sisters'."
Luan sighed. "Although to his credit, it's better than having another sibling that's all 'Wah! Wah! Way! Why won't you come to my event?! Wah! Wah! Wah! This family supports each other! Wah! Wah! Wah! You guys need to do the rituals!' Wah! Wah! Wah! Look at my trophies!" Luan said, imitating a whiny tone. Yes, she gets annoyed when some of her sisters throw a fit about these things. She's human.
"And secretive Lincoln beats old Lincoln any day." Luan said.
"Old Lincoln? You mean you hated when you thought he didn't have any talents?" Benny asked in confusion.
"No. I mean like when he was younger, before he started kindergarten." Luan corrected, realizing that she never mentioned to Benny how Lincoln used to behave.
"What was he like?"
"A nightmare."
A five-year-old Lincoln laughed as he ran through the house while swinging a baseball bat at lamps, chairs, even the pictures on the wall.
He stopped upstairs when he saw eight-year-old Luan in her room playing with Mr. Coconuts. Lincoln grinned as he eyed the ventriloquist dummy. He ran toward his big sister and pushed her to the floor before snatching the dummy off the floor.
"Hey!" Luan shouted as she got up and saw Lincoln running out of her room with Mr. Coconuts while laughing.
Luan chased her little brother, who jumped down onto the banister and slid down by his feet. Lori was coming up the stairs and quickly ducked before Lincoln swung the baseball bat at her head. The brother didn't mind as he jumped off and stood on top of the couch and threw Mr. Coconuts in the air.
Luan didn't get to him in time and watched in horror as Lincoln the dummy by the bat as it descended and crash into the TV, toppling it over.
"Hahaha!" Lincoln laughed at the destruction he caused.
"Jesus Christ!", was all Benny could say.
"Yeah." Luan said she got a message on her phone. It was Preston, telling her that they were about to go to that children's hospital.
"Ugh, I gotta go." Luan said, unhappily.
"Hey, hang in there." Benny said encouragingly. "After the movie's done you can come home and then we can still get roles in the theater club and we can go back to entertaining people. Soon this will just be a bad experience everyone will just forget."
"Yeah," Luan said, giving Benny a weak smile.
When she hung up, she lost her smile and said, "I hope."
Lincoln got out of the Fanny's Prank Emporium truck, dressed in a black and purple tuxedo with a fedora on his hat, and followed the other comedians into the children's hospital. Once inside, they approached the lady at the front desk. Once they identified themselves, they were each assigned different rooms.
Lincoln looked at the room he was assigned in, not noticing that Kyle was looking at the desk of all the rooms assigned before quickly typing the info in his phone. He hoped the kids in this room weren't goths or emos, because FPE sold nothing dark and he didn't bring any supervillain stuff that could potentionally interest them.
He turned to the screen and said, "I really hope that at worst I get booed out of the room. I have enough people trying to kill me."
Maggie was still angry at him for nearly ruining her party. Also, when he targeted Luan for that whole luck crap, Maggie was one of the few that got in his way. He didn't like that, so he got angry. He was surprised Maggie could perform hand-to-hand combat. She did better than Benny, that's for sure.
He gazed in different directions, looking over the hospital and wondering if it were too late to change his comic on the part where Spade escapes from-
"Hey, Loud, get in here! Or we leave without you!" One of the older comedians demanded as they stood in the elevator.
"Coming!" Lincoln lost his train of thought and ran toward the elevator, making it in the nick of time.
Thirty minutes later, Preston and Piper entered with the Loud sisters and Darly in their Full House Gang costumes.
Six kids laid in their hospital beds watching the TV in front of the window at the back of the room as it displayed Superman and his children going on adventures.
They jumped when the door slammed opened and Preston and Piper barged in with wide smiles. They glanced at them in confusion at the TV at the back and their smiles turned into scowls. Piper marched over to the television showing Superman about to punch Zod and turned it off. Piper smiled in satisfaction and turned back to address the children who were upset at missing the House of Kryptonians show.
"Guess what children? Your favorite superheroes are here?"
"SUPERMAN!?" One boy asked excitedly.
"No." Piper said with a scowl.
"Spiderman?" One girl asked happily.
"No."
"Storm?" One boy asked in confusion.
"No." Piper said, starting to lose her temper.
"She means a good female superhero." Preston said, also not happy with these children's choices of heroes.
"...Storm?" The same boy repeated.
"Rogue?"
"Wonder Woman?"
"Starfire?"
"Vixen?"
"Supergirl?"
"Black Widow?"
"Scarlet Witch?"
"Batgirl?"
"Spider-Woman?"
"Invisible Woman?"
"Hawkgirl?"
"She-Hulk?"
"Raven?"
"Black Canary?"
"Spider Gwen?"
"Angel Knight?"
"Lady Ace-"
"NO!" Piper and Preston shouted which made the six kids in hospital gowns jump back.
"None of those! Such awful heroes, promoting toxicity!" Preston yelled.
"We mean good heroes who spread the correct way for people to behave." Piper said with a satisfied smile as she beckoned toward the door. "The Full House Gang!"
The Loud sisters and Darly in their costumes barged through the door and posed, they all flashed the hospital kids smiles. Though, Luan and Lori's were more forced.
The six children were confused as none of them recognized the suits.
"Who are you guys supposed to be?" One girl asked.
"We are the stars of the Full House Gang movie." Lola proudly announced.
Piper held up her phone and played the trailer for the children, the children watched what was displayed.
"EEEEWWW!" They all cringed at the scenes in the trailer, particularly the parts about the pooping jokes. Their reaction did not sit well with the directors.
"How dare you children react this way! Many people have issues controlling their bladder. Just look at our beloved High Card." Preston shouted in anger gesturing toward Lori, who tried to shield her face. Darly laughed at the comment.
"This only proves that we all need to educate you kids." Piper said.
"Which we will start by giving a scenario. Lana, say your lines." Preston instructed.
Everyone turned to see Lana digging through the trash.
"Lana out of the trash and act proper!" Preston demanded.
"Why not let her stay, she's in her natural habitat." Darly said with a smile.
Lana stuck her head out and quickly stood in the middle of the room.
"Now kids, how do we greet one another?" Preston asked, addressing the hospital kids.
"By saying hello?" One girl asked in a confused tone.
"NO!" Preston shouted in anger, which startled the children, he then composed himself saying, "Observe."
"Lana, may I please greet you in a way that's inoffensive?" Preston started.
"Uh sure." Lana said, not sure if she said her lines right.
"Lana, we went over this." Preston scowled, "You're supposed to say, 'Yes, thank you for asking first. Now may I address you?'"
"Looks like the only language she understands is: meow, bark, moo, and oink." Darly laughed. Lana scowled at her.
"I'll have you know, I can also speak bear and-"
"Lana, be quiet." Piper said, before turning to the hospital kids. "Now, we're going to learn how to properly compliment people without being offensive."
In another room, Lincoln clapped and sang with the younger kids the Blarney the Dinosaur's lying song.
"Every time you lie / a Leprechaun will cry. /A fib to Mom and Dad? / Well that's just twice as baaad!"
Lincoln could actually say this was going well, he hit it off with the younger kids. Even the parents, nurses, and doctors in the room seem to like his acts. This wasn't another emo party after all.
His mind then drifted to what Stella said. If what she said was true, then it sounds like everyone involved in the production of the Ace Savvy movies and tv shows were afraid of Stether. He did notice that cast members looked a little nervous when the CEO of Stether was nearby in photos and videos.
"Okay, what would you guys like to see next?" Lincoln asked, giving his attention back to the younger kids. "Another magic trick?"
"Can we sing the Gamera song?" A little girl asked, excitedly.
"The G-Gamera song?" Lincoln asked, his face turning to uncertainty.
"Yeah, the Gamera song." The kid repeated.
"Um, you know I have some other magic tricks I can-"
"Gamera song! Gamera song! Gamera song!"
Seeing that the kids were adamant, Lincoln resisted from groaning as he began to sang the most annoying song in the world. (To him at least)
"Gameraaa," Lincoln sung with a waned smile.
"Gameraaaa." The younger children sang with much enthusiasm.
"Gamera, you are strong. Gamera, you are strong. Gamera. You. Are. Strong."
As Lincoln continued singing, he very much wish he could sing something else. As a Kaiju fan, he didn't hate Gamera. He just really, really, really did not like the Gamera song. Back in Kindergarten, when everyone happily sung the Gamera song, Lincoln was the only one who would scowl while covering his ears to block out the music.
There are several bad performances Luan has had in the past, but this has got to be the absolute worst.
Preston and Piper frowned when he saw one of the hospital kids lying back on his bed and turning his head away from the performance.
They scowled at this, Piper marched up to the kid and kicked the hospital bed.
"Pay attention!" she ordered.
One of the boys played a video game on his handheld device before it was snatched out of his hands by Preston.
"No video games!" Preston demanded.
One of the girls tried to reach the button that would alert one of the doctors and nurses but her hand was grabbed by Preston.
"Keep your hands to yourself, young lady," Preston ordered.
"Um, I have to go to the bathroom?" One dark-skinned boy lied. He wanted to just leave the room and wait until Stether left before returning.
"I got a bucket for you." Lana said, holding up a bucket.
The boy's eyes widened as he scooted away from Lana.
"Hey, if they're not liking the show, we could just leave." Luan suggested, with hope in their voice.
"No, this is good for them. Being in the hospital does not excuse them from not knowing how to behave properly."
"Wow, you guys are so good!" The girl said loudly. The others gave her an odd look. Luan jaw dropped at this, this was the worst form of entertainment she'd ever seen. Lori knew the girl was lying but chose to keep quiet and hoped this would end. The sooner they leave, the better.
"Ha!" Lola said, looking at Darly with a smug look. "I told you we were good."
"In fact, we would like to tell everyone in the hospital how fantastic you are!" The girl continued.
The other hospital kids catched on and nodded their heads in agreement.
"Ah, no need." Preston said, dismissing the girl's wishes. "We shall tell the others how good we were ourselves."
"Okay, go ahead." The girl said eagerly.
"Girls, let's go." Piper said as they all left the room. As soon as the door closed, the hospital kids got off their beds.
"See that was fantastic. The Rise for Power movie is on track and we're all going to be stars." Lola said as they walked down the hall of the hospital.
"Can we please take a break?" Luan said, trying to hide her annoyance.
"You all have two minutes," Piper said.
The sisters went off in separate directions while Darly decided to remain with the directors.
Lori let out a sigh as she wandered the halls. She was low on energy as she didn't eat earlier out of fear of the food being tampered with.
She thought she heard extra footsteps and stopped. She turned around, there was no one there. She continued walking and heard the extra footsteps again and stopped again. Lori took a deep breath before calling out.
"Lola, is that you? Lana?" She hesitated before saying, "Lincoln?"
The oldest sister turned around to see nothing, "Lincoln, if that's you, you're not missing out. You might have noticed, but the movie is gonna suck. You dodged a bullet. You lucked out- NO!" Lori said remembering that 'luck' was a trigger word for Lincoln.
"Lincoln, I didn't mean that!" Lori cried out, hoping to not get hit by a barrage of paintballs.
She walked backwards, wanting to keep an eye out for the person following her. Lori jumped when a door opened, but it was a freckled-faced redhead who walked out of the boys' bathroom while glancing at her for a second as he walked away.
Lori shook her head and looked around, maybe a bottle of soda would cool her nerves. She went to the nearest vending machine and placed a coin in. She watched as the drink she selected was lowered down to the compartment. Before she could bend down and get it, she heard footsteps and immediately turned to see Luan.
"Are you the one following me?" Lori demanded, as she gave her sister a suspicious look.
Luan looked at her confused before responding. "Uh…no?"
The blond couldn't tell if she was lying or not. Luan herself wasn't as enthusiastic about the movie as the production continued. But maybe she hoped by sabotaging Lori that the movie would be canceled. Luan has done some pretty nasty things in the past, especially on April Fools day.
"Can I ask you something?" Lori asked with a sigh.
"Sure." Luan said. Neither of them noticed the shadowy figure that approached from Lori's back.
"Is there any hope for this movie?" Lori asked. She thought about asking if she knew anything about a saboteur on set due to the suspicion that her comedian sister may be the saboteur.
The figure quietly approached from behind Lori and reached into the compartment with incredible skill to not make any noise.
"No, this movie is doomed." Luan said, without hesitation before sighing. "I just don't know why the others can't see it?"
"Well they see this movie as their stardom vehicle. They believe this movie is going to kickstart our careers in Hollywood." Lori explained. This was also her reason as well but she mainly wanted to prove that she was as talented as her siblings. She ignored the red flags with the heavy bias from Preston and Piper at that convention, not to mention that awful presentation.
"Then they are idiots if they think this movie is gonna make us famous. The only thing this movie is going to do is blacklist us from Hollywood." Luan said.
The figure quietly placed the soda back in the compartment and remained hidden on the side of the snack vending machine that was left to the soda one.
Luan looked at the vending machine and decided that she needed soda too. She placed a coin in, selected the drink which happened to be the same orange flavor Lori got, and watched it fall down.
"Hang on, I still didn't get mine." Lori said, reaching into the compartment first. Her discussion with the brunette nearly made her forget about her soda.
When Luan reached in and retrieved hers. Their phones suddenly beeped. They got a voicemail from Piper.
"Girls, come back to the room, it's an emergency!" Piper's frantic voiced screeched.
Lori groaned and went back in the direction those hospital kids were in. Luan decided to wait a bit, wanting to prolong her time away from those activists hacks. She twisted the cap and sipped. Her eyes widened a bit as she stopped.
Looking at the bottle to find that it was regular flavor not the diet kind. But why did it taste…different.
Writing it off as her just feeling sick about being turned into a laughing stock because of the film, she continued sipping.
Lori drinked her soda while arriving back to see Darly, most of her sisters, except Luan, and the hysterical director duo outside of the room.
"Girls, it's just simply horrible!" Piper said, panicking.
"What's wrong?" Lucy asked.
"The hospital kids, they're gone!" Piper screamed.
The sisters and Darly entered the room and saw that all the beds were vacant.
Luna spoke. "Alright, chill out. I'm sure they just went to the bathroom or something."
"Or maybe they just wanted to get away from the awful lectures," Lori said, under her breath as she placed her soda in a medical drawer.
"Maybe we should do something else to entertain them," Lucy suggested.
"Not now, freaky girl! We have to hunt them down and bring them back!" Piper urged.
Lucy cringed at what Piper called her.
"Hunt them down?" Lori was appalled. "You guys do know these kids are patients, right?"
"That is no excuse to miss out on important education! Now you girls go hunt them down so they can take their ten quizzes." Preston said.
"Yeah, you guys do that while I watch some television," Darly said, grabbing the remote and turning the TV on before sitting down on one of the hospital beds.
"Wait, why does she get to stay and watch TV?" Lana asked.
"Bring those kids back now!" Piper said, practically pushing the girls out. Lori didn't even have time to grab her soda.
The only ones left in the room was Darly who laughed as she watched Queens and Tiaras, seeing the girls' performances as awful. She did not hear the door open and close quietly before a figure approached Lori's orange soda on the drawer.
Andy barged into a room, holding his breath as he heard the running footsteps of one of those crazy actresses running past the room he was in.
"There is no way!" Andy huffed and he slid down the door to his bottom.
"There's just no way, I'm going through that again!"
Andy didn't know when those people from Stether would leave the hospital so he decided to continue his game. He reached into his pocket, then reached into his other pocket, this tap his pants for where he must have put it.
"Crap!" Andy whispered to himself. He left his handheld device in his room! There's no way he's going back there as long as those crazy people are still there!
He looked around the room for something to do.
He saw a bunch of bags and decided to dig through them. Once he's done hiding, he'll put whatever valuable things he finds back.
He checked the first one, then the next one. Andy was getting annoyed as these bags held clothes and comedy props. No video games, no toys, no comics or even some earphones.
He checked the orange bag next. He looked through it, didn't appear to have much in-
Wait…what's this?
He took out a comic. The front depicted five kids frozen on a bridge as a reptilian hand dug into the ground in front of them.
"'Ace Savvy: Godzilla'?" Andy read out loud.
Curious, he opened the comic book and read. Ace Savvy and his little brother were being chased by people in silver suits.
They get separated by a giant wall that splits the area and goes in separate directions.
Burster, along with his men, ran through the streets looking around. Colin saw them approaching from the window in the house he hid in and ran down to the basement.
He heard a noise and instantly brought out a flashlight to shined it around the area. He saw movement and kept it still on the moving figure. It looked to be another kid, but instead of charging at him, the other kid seemed to trying to make herself seem smaller.
She was wearing a silver and pink armored suit but she didn't look threatening.
Colin approached her and spoke in a friendly tone. "Hey, it's okay. I'm not here to hurt you."
Camille crawled out from underneath the table and stared at him. Her eyes widened behind her helmet as she gazed at him.
They jumped when they heard footsteps from outside, then lights were shined in through the basement window..
"THERE SHE IS!"
The two 6-year-olds ducked under the laser beams blasting from the window.
Colin grabbed Camille's arm and ran up the stairs. Camille stumbled but allowed the boy to guide her.
The two made it through the backyard door and found it was surrounded by Bursters's men. Burster approached from the center, gazing at Colin and then at Camille.
Andy continued reading as Wild Dice helped Phaser evade Burster and his men. Andy was shocked at this version of Burster. He looked way too cool to be Burster.
He then read a couple of more pages about a new character named Mary Mage being attacked by an earth-controlling supervillain named Terrain. Due to Mary Mage's powers, she must be a Magistar.
He read a couple of more pages and found some girl in a cloud of fog.
Lincoln watched from the trees as Citro Troopers and Burster's men shot at each other.
The next thing he knew, the whole area was soon covered in dense fog.
"Huh?" Lincoln asked, confused by the change. He couldn't see what was happening but he could still hear shooting.
"AAAAAAHH!" A Citro Trooper flew over his head and crashed into the ground.
A Burster thug crashed into the tree. Lincoln narrowed his eyes as he heard more frantic shooting along with the screams of both Citro Troopers and Burster thugs. Then there was silence.
This alarmed Lincoln who didn't dare climb down
A hand was clasped over his mouth, Lincoln struggled until he heard the voice.
"Shh shh shh! Keep it down! She'll hear us!"
Lincoln stopped protesting and slowly turned his head to see Clyde but he was focused on the fog.
They both saw someone fly up and out of sight. The fog soon cleared up to reveal several dead Burster thugs and Citro Troopers.
"Did you boys enjoy the show?"
Lincoln and Clyde turned around to see a Filipino girl floating in the air. She was leaning forward with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face. She wore a green and white suit. She had short black hair that partly covered the right side of her face
She then uncrossed her arms and shot her arms at them. A powerful blast of air hit the two boys, sending them soaring off the tree.
They screamed as they crashed into the middle of the area with the deceased adults.
The two got up and Stella landed in front of them and grinned.
"Who are you?!" Lincoln demanded, summoning his energy cards.
"You're partner, Jack, over there already knows me." Stella said, pointing at Clyde. Lincoln looked at Clyde with a look of suspicion before Stella spoke again, "But you can call me Storm Gust."
"Look, Elena, we don't have to fight." Clyde tried to reason.
"Oh no no no. We are not on first-name basis with traitors." Stella shook her head while wagging her finger. Then flew at them with a crazed look.
Andy continued reading, as Stella blasted several types of wind-powered attacks. Ace Savvy and One-Eyed Jack having actual superpowers was new with Ace having exploding cards and Jack having what appeared to be super strength with that glowing green thing surrounding him. He read as Storm Gust was able to deflect each of their attacks. Suddenly, Mary Mage screamed as she crashed next to Ace and Jack. Then Terrain joined Storm Gust.
Next came Wild Dice and Phaser coming in contact with a Burster thug strapped to a tree.
"Please, help me! Please, help me!" The Bursyer thug pleaded.
Colin rushed forward while Camille hesitated before following.
The two stopped when a shadowy figure came from the side, staring at them while approaching the bounded Burster thug. He reached for his back and took out a blue-lasered ninjato. The Burster thug began shaking rapidly as he desperately tried to free himself.
"Oh god! Oh go-"
The shadowy figure plunged the sword into the man's chest, causing the man to go limp in his bounds. The two younger kids watched in horror.
The figure then looked around before heading toward the two Colin and Camille. Both Colin and Camille froze as the figure came closer. Despite his fear, Colin stood in front of Camille. The shadowy figure bent down and took out his ninjato sword before pressing it against Colin's neck. Colin started breathing heavily as he didn't know what to do. Hs eyes darted around for his older brother but he was nowhere to be found.
Phaser grabbed Colin's arm with both hands and they vanished in a pink light. The shadowy figure stood up and looked around for them before jumping up into the trees.
The room Kyle and his group performed in was full of laughter as he imitated the large pictures of screenshots, he took from the Rise for Power trailer. He made sure to stop the video when the sisters were on screen and looked the most ridiculous before taking screenshots and placing them on boards.
Kyle smiled as the children laughed, the doctors and nurses in the room couldn't help chuckling too. Kyle's part in the plan was going perfectly.
After a while, he told the others he needed to use the restroom and told his friends to continue on with the entertainment. He took out his phone, to remember where the Loud sisters were located. He didn't know where that white-haired Loud was located but it wasn't his job to keep an eye on him.
He went up a few stairs, onto the floor the Louds were assigned.
"HELP! SOMEBODY HELP!"
He jumped when he heard a scream.
The blond teen wasn't sure if it was related to the sisters but he took out his camera anyway and started to record.
He saw a girl in a hospital gown running down the hall. She was pursued by Lynn who leapt and tackled her to the floor. The fought but Lynn got the upper hand and started dragging the struggling girl by the leg.
Kyle followed them, being sure to keep his distance while having the camera focused on the screaming hospital kid. They approached the room and the girl struggled even more but she was no match for Lynn's strength as she dragged inside.
"Let me go! You crazy lunatic!" The girl screamed at Lynn who replied with, "Stop being dramatic."
Lana and Lola were dragging a boy who had his arms and legs tied to his back as he tried to get loose.
This all looked perfect to Kyle. He looked through the door window and saw that it was pure chaos inside. The hospital kids had looks that read that they wanted to cry out for help.
He zoomed in on Lori who dropped her half-empty soda bottle and held her stomach in pain. Preston screamed at her while pointing at the others who were enacting skits.
Well, except for two of them, Lucy was ushered away as she tried to talk to the directors and Luan was in the corner, it looked like she was covering her mouth with both hands. This disappointed Kyle as she wanted to see the look on Luan's face most of all.
One of the hospital kids ran to the button and slammed his fist on it. His arm was roughly grabbed by Piper, who then dragged him back to his bed before scolding him.
Wait, there are six hospital beds in the room. But there were five kids, one of the hospital kids were missing. Oh well, he could still record the chaos.
A familiar pain in her stomach occurred. The eldest sister's eyes widened in horror. She knew what was about to happen, Lori ran to the door but Preston grabbed her arm.
"Where do you think you are going?!" Preston demanded.
"Look, I need to-" Lori was cutoff.
"Stay right here and perform. Don't you care about the health of children everywhere?! Stop being selfish and continue the perfect teen, we are molding you to be!" Preston ordered.
Luan started giggling in the corner. Piper turned and scowled at Luan, marching over to her and grabbing her by the arm.
"Luan, you are not suppose to laugh yet. Now get over here and-" Piper turned her around and Luan bursted out laughing. Everyone turned toward her in confusion.
Something was not right with the way Luan was laughing. Her eyes were darting around while she laughed, her mouth also seemed to be trying to form a frown as she laughed.
"Hey, bracehead! Shut your fat mouth!" Darly screamed as she grabbed one of the hospital kid's books and threw it at Luan's head. It struck Luan but she continued to laugh.
"Mr. Sieg, I think I need to-" Lori tried to say, the feeling in her stomach was getting worse.
"It's rude to interrupt!" Preston reprimanded. The oldest sister could do nothing but close her eyes as she felt the inevitable. Her suit was stained again as a foul smell filled the room.
From the door, Kyle cringed at the sight but he kept his camera focused, doing his best to avoid looking at Lori's lower section of the costume.
He heard footsteps and hid behind the corner while doctors entered the room.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?"
Lincoln followed the other comedians into a room where they placed their belongings and picked up his backpack. He took the comic out and flipped through the pages. Everything was in order, but he still needed to copy this issue.
Overall, it was a productive day. Now all he needed to do was head to go downstairs, get in the truck and drive back to the Fanny's Prank Emporium store where he could get his money, then he could go to the printing store and-
"IT'S FOR THEIR OWN GOOD!" A woman's voice shrieked.
"Huh?" Confused by the outburst, Lincoln turned to see doctors and nurses escorting his sister, who wore their costumes.
Lynn was dragged away by her arms, kicking and struggling to get out of the doctors' firm grip. Leni was walking with a cheerful look. Lola was on a doctor's shoulders while screaming and banging her fists on the doctor's back. Lana had a dumbfounded expression as she hung in the air as she was lifted by her cape by a nurse. Luna looked back at the nurses as she held Lily. Luan was lifted in the air with her back facing the ground as she continued to laugh wildly with tears in her eyes. Lisa had a jaded look as she was held under the arm of a doctor. Lori was doing her best to shield her face as she had a brown spot on her bottom. Lucy was behind them all, following them with her usual look. The girl dressed as a fairy, Darly, was held up by her arms by nurses as they carried her as she yelled at who her father was. Preston and Piper were being dragged across the floor by struggling nurses as they tried to hold on to anything they could use to stay in place.
"Don't you know whom my dad is?! I'll make sure he closes this hospital down and make all you homeless!" Darly screeched.
"WE ARE THE ONES NEEDED TO EDUCATE THOSE CHILDREN!" Piper yelled.
"WITHOUT US, THOSE CHILDREN WILL CREATE CHAOS FOR THE WORLD!" Preston shouted.
"The heck?", Lincoln just watched in disbelief as they were dragged into the elevator.
Kyle concealed his laughter as he stopped the recording when the elevator closed. He had gathered something more than he ever could have hoped for. He should really thank that white haired kid for creating the Full House Gang.
AN: Whew, finally finished. I may edit this chapter because I'm certain there are still some mistakes, but I wanted to get it out before this month ended.
AN: Gonna be honest I used to hate Luan, not because of her April Fool's Day episodes, as I found her to be annoying with her constant jokes. But over time, I came to like her character.
AN: Feel free to criticize, but please no flames. I'd also appreciate it, if one of you would pointout to a spelling mistake. Also, try to be civil with one another in the comment section.
