Here I present myself with a new translated chapter!

This time it will be a chapter with a normal length, as well as several chapters later on, so I'm sure there will be many updates in a row.

Remember that this is a translation, and the reality is that my English is not good. If you notice any mistakes, please forgive my ignorance.

Now it's time for the reviews:

Vanhellsing9000: Not only them, it is obvious that much of the supernatural world will be very angry with them for what they have done, since Issei at this point was very well liked. Thank you very much for continuing to support this project, all your reviews are always welcome.

Cobin Michael: First, I'm glad you liked it as the denouement of the previous chapter. Second, remember that I am the author and translator of this story, I clarify this because you gave me to understand that you thought that the author and translator were two different people, but that is not the case.

Nicheevee: That was just the kind of feeling I wanted to cause, so I'm glad you felt it.

Sage Walker: Actually, Issei is at death's door right now, so using that power right now would be ridiculous, as his body would be unable to withstand it. Still, there will be a rather special kind of development that will trigger something very similar to the Juggernaut Drive.

There were a few more reviews to answer, but remember that I don't like to repeat answers, and that's why I let them go. I'm just clarifying this so you know that I do read them all, but I'm not always going to respond.

With nothing more to clarify, it's time to begin.

Enjoy!

BEGINNING OF ARC-CHAPTER 71: TRUE AWAKENING, THE RISE OF THE FOURTH DRAGON GOD!

Although everything had apparently turned out well, you could tell Sirzechs wasn't too happy with the end result.

"Bastard, you'll pay for this when we meet again!" Ddraig exclaimed with palpable fury from Issei's arm, indicating that Issei was still alive, even though he was already in agony.

"I would like to talk to you further, Ddraig. Unfortunately, we have a lot of things to do." The Demon King stated as if nothing, then gestured to Serafall. "See that no one finds his body. Send him to the Twelfth Gate of Hell."

After hearing this, Ddraig could be heard growling angrily at him.

"What did you just say, you fucker!" The dragon's hysterical state echoed throughout the room. "Are you planning on locking our souls in that place!" Sirzechs smirked at his words.

"I don't care what happens to Hyoudou's soul, but it's important that you never get another bearer again. For that very one we'll send you there to make sure that doesn't happen." The Demon King's smile widened at what he was about to say. "After all, you know well that, if we can't prevail in this world, we won't let anyone else do so. By taking you out of the way, I make sure that will be so, and that way everyone will share the same fate." Sirzechs concluded, earning another growl from Ddraig, who was distracted when Issei was taken by Serafall.

"Get your hands off him, you filthy Demon!"

A ghoulish grin appeared on the aforementioned's face after hearing those words. She flashed a paper seal and a very strange magic circle appeared on the ground.

"If you insist so much..." She declared, then laughed loudly as she released Issei's almost limp body.

The magic circle swallowed the young man's body, disappearing on the spot.

Sirzechs smile returned to his somewhat annoyed look, catching his sister's attention.

"Why are you so angry?" Rias asked him with much curiosity, since everything had gone well according to his point of view.

"It's obvious that this was the last option." Sirzechs replied, bringing a hand to his chin as he recalled the talk with Issei. "Besides, even though I held his life in my hands, I somehow felt that I lost against him..."

After saying those words, a somewhat awkward silence came over the place.

That silence was surprisingly broken when the Demon King got a large wound on his shoulder, earning the shock of everyone in the place.

The Demon King staggered forward a bit, only to look at his subordinates.

"What are you guys waiting for? We need to simulate the image of a battlefield as soon as possible." The man declared, using a magic attack to break through the ceiling.

"I don't know what you guys think, but, even if the world is doomed to end, I still want to live these last two thousand years. And for that, we must create a perfect lie." Declared the Demon King with a somewhat pained smile.

Meanwhile, in a completely inhospitable place...

"Shit!" Ddraig cursed with great stress as he saw how they had been transported to a very strange place.

The first thing the dragon could make out, was a desert of blood that stretched all over the place, along with some small mountains and other types of elevations. And thanks to that, he could also realize that they were going to a free fall from so high that would be able to kill Issei very easily due to the state he was in. But that was the least of the dragon's worries.

"Even if he survives the fall, the great injuries will not take long to kill him..." Thought the dragon with great concern.

As Issei's body left a trail of blood in its fall, Ddraig thought of all the alternatives by which he could save Issei. After all, he knew perfectly well that Issei's salvation could only be in his hands.

Still, what could he do?

The dragon thought helplessly as he watched the pale sky of the strange place grow larger and larger.

He knew full well that there was a choice. The problem was that the chances of success were almost nil, and besides that it would carry a great consequence for him.

"Fuck it!" Ddraig exclaimed through gritted teeth as Issei's body exploded completely followed by a strong crimson light that dazzled the entire sky.

"The odds of him being able to withstand a dragon body are nil, but there's no better option than this!" The dragon thought as he sweated, making it quite clear which method he had tried to save his bearer.

Issei's blood began to swirl in the air to the beat of that strong crimson light. Within seconds a body could be seen as a body began to form around a faint white orb that merged with another smaller crimson orb.

That's right, Issei's soul and Ddraig had merged to carry out this desperate measure.

Finally, the cloud of thick blood ended up turning into a normal body just before it hit the ground, causing the red-colored sand to shake a little at the sudden fall.

Ddraig opened his eyes unable to believe what he was witnessing.

"His body is stable. I'm sure I'm not making a mistake..." Ddraig swallowed hard at the anticipation.

"Does that mean his soul was able to withstand the transformation from Demon to Dragon so easily?" Ddraig knew that his bearer held more mysteries than he thought, but he never thought Issei could assimilate such a great change without any setbacks.

Those thoughts were pushed to the back burner as he watched Issei slowly stand up. Both of his arms had returned and his body seemed completely healed, so he had no problem standing up.

But there was something very wrong, and Ddraig was able to notice it instantly.

Before the dragon could speak to his bearer, he could see a humanoid figure slowly approach his position.

At that moment, Ddraig paid attention that they were not actually in the middle of some mountains.

This was some kind of burrow, and the large amount of bones of different species mostly unrecognizable confirmed it.

"That scumbag said he'd send us to the Twelfth Gate..." Ddraig immediately grew serious as he watched the humanoid figure lighten, revealing a rather thin white-haired werewolf of sorts.

His figure appeared to be somewhat gaunt, plus his fur barely covered certain parts of his body.

"That shape..." Ddraig narrowed his eyes as he was able to recognize it. "There's no doubt about it."

The frayed middle-aged man took several steps forward, until he was several meters away from Issei.

"I see those stupid Demons brought me more food. It's been a while since they did." The subject stated, then looked up into the white sky in great disgust.

"Mate, there's no way you can stop him." His tenant began to draw him up in his mind with absolute seriousness. "If the stories I heard are true, not even your Second Evolution could take him. We have to escape at the first option presented to us."

Ddraig's seriousness was replaced to a look covered in confusion as he watched Issei stand up, and stood still on the spot with a shadowed gaze.

"Mate?"

"They treat me like their garbage can for all these scumbags." Thought the man aloud, then crossed his arms with eyes that reflected his bloodlust. "But someday I will leave this place and when I do, you will be the first ones I will devour."

Issei's hands made a strange sound as he clenched them tightly, gaining his enemy's attention once again.

"But first, I will gladly accept your offerings." The gaunt man parked his gaze on Issei, giving him a feral grin.

"After all, I'm already hungry."

"Mate, react!" Ddraig shouted at him with great force in an attempt to get his bearer to snap out of the trance he was in, but it didn't work.

Just as he was about to shout at him again, the white place he was in changed to a dark color emanating absolute pressure. And just at that moment, various seals appeared around Issei that began to slowly break.

In that particular situation, Ddraig could only sweat.

Only three times in his life could he feel an energy and aura that crushed his own completely.

This was the fourth time.

"What is this pressure...?" The dragon could barely think.

The subject looked at him with mild interest as the gauntlet appeared in his hand, watching as the seals around him began to break even faster.

Until...

The gems on the gauntlet changed to a crimson color, causing the entire design to change from a red to a black color. And at that moment, the seals shattered into a thousand pieces.

The man's eyes widened in utter amazement as he was thrown back in the face of a great blast of dark energy that sent him several feet backwards.

The walls of the den were completely destroyed and a huge amount of debris flew everywhere. All that destruction was accompanied by an extensive shockwave that was created along with a huge arc of light as black as night that hit the sky. An act that did not go unnoticed by all the entities in the place, as they could feel an abysmal increase of power even from the different doors.

The subject rose from the ground instantly at the same time as he covered his face from the strong blizzard that his opponent was generating.

"What the hell is this kid?" Was all he could think as he saw how a huge dome of dark energy surrounded the protagonist, making it impossible to be able to see what was happening to him. He was only able to witness how his figure was slowly surrounded by some sort of armor.

And just as all the chaos emerged, it disappeared out of nowhere, leaving an absolute silence in that place abandoned by all.

The subject slowly uncovered his face, observing Issei with absolute seriousness when he saw his new appearance. Actually, he had not changed, it was that dark armor with red gems that had made him look different. The man could make out that a corrosive aura was coming off like threads through the armor. Another thing that made his skin crawl was watching as Issei raised his face, denoting crimson eyes that glowed through the helmet.

Silence fell between them, as if both were waiting for the other to say something or try to attack him.

And so it happened, the first to make a move was Issei, who raised his hand.

The man's eyes widened beyond measure after seeing Issei's arm wave in his direction, sending a huge black magical blast that disintegrated everything in his way.

The man leapt backwards and soon created a large barrier. When the attack hit, the guy couldn't help but widen his eyes in shock that he had managed to contain the attack, but his magic circle was completely shattered.

Issei began to walk forward as the corrosive aura surrounded him with great hostility.

The man glared at it, then took a couple of steps forward.

"This is the first time I have slight interest in who or what is one of my victims." He clarified earnestly, stopping a few feet away from Issei.

The young man answered him with a rather strange breath, then raised his hand towards his position.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The subject shouted with great energy as he implemented all his strength and reflexes to dodge and contain the various tiny, but absurdly destructive magical attacks that were fired in his direction.

He created one last magical circle, watching as it was completely shattered before the collision of the attack.

"If that's all his power, I can finish him off pretty easily if I use my true form..." Thought the man as the dust slowly dissipated.

His surprised look appeared due to a rather clear reason.

"He disappeared?" Thought the man, seeing that Issei wasn't in his previous position.

Not a second more passed before the protagonist appeared at his side, delivering a heavy blow to his cheek that generated a huge crater, as well as completely destroying his teeth.

"I didn't see him move...!" Was the only thing he could think, feeling with great pain how his whole face trembled like jelly from the huge impact he had received.

The subject flipped several times in the air, until he finally rolled on the ground and made a somewhat forced landing. He was quick to respond to the attack, throwing a gigantic magical orb that he created in a matter of seconds.

The battlefield shook as the attack hit the ground, creating a huge explosion several meters around.

"I don't think that was enough to stop him." Thought the man, stopping several meters away from the destroyed wasteland.

Certainly, he was right. But he certainly never thought Issei would be able to sneak up behind him unnoticed.

The guy spat out some blood as the whole place shook, a product of Issei who had grabbed him by the neck without warning.

Issei turned his hand slowly until he was facing him. The guy gave him a big punch in the face, causing a huge shockwave to shake the whole place. He had undoubtedly used all his strength, so his surprise was indescribable when he saw that Issei had not moved an inch.

The man thought of instantly freeing himself when he saw that he had not hurt him, but it was too late to try to escape.

Issei raised his free hand and closed it into a fist, and then gave a strong blow to his opponent's face that created another big shockwave. But he didn't stop there, as he continued to punch him with a barrage of punches that deformed his face more and more.

After apparently tiring of the torture, Issei tightened his grip on the man's neck, causing him to spit out a large amount of blood. He then threw him away, causing his opponent to generate two large waves of sand because of how fast he was moving.

Finally, the guy managed to stop his gait abruptly, creating great destruction behind him.

"How...?" Was all he could think as he fell to his knees and coughed up a large amount of blood.

This one didn't take long to raise his gaze, seeing that Issei was watching him from afar as his aura seemed to become more and more unstable.

"I guess I have no choice." He thought, rising from the ground at the same time as his body began to change into a grotesque form, until he became a large silver-haired wolf.

"I can't control this form properly, but I don't think it matters now not to disintegrate him so I can eat him..." Thought the huge wolf, only to be amazed at what he was seeing.

That was because Issei's aura became even more crazed, to the point that his body began to stretch and change in a way that appeared to be quite painful to his body.

But that wasn't really what amazed him.

What left him completely shocked was seeing what a large and powerful form Issei had achieved.

"A Dragon with this energy?" Thought the wolf, watching as a large, completely dark dragon with violet stripes and red eyes landed several meters away from him. "But this energy...It's much more than just a dragon." He thought in shock.

"RRRROOOAARRGGG!"

The arena rose for a few moments after the loud roar of Issei, who possessed a voice virtually unrecognizable in that form.

Issei lowered his gaze, and his large body seemed to untense as he looked at his prey. His target also remained in position without moving a muscle, waiting for Issei to make the first move.

After a few seconds, the legs of the huge dark dragon flexed, and then he disappeared without a trace.

"Which direction?!" The wolf thought in exultation, looking in all directions in search of his enemy.

His eyes could barely catch how a black blur sped towards his position, generating a huge line of destruction in his way.

The big wolf didn't hesitate for a second and created a large magic circle in front of him. Issei continued running to his position without caring in the least about the huge sphere of magic he was creating in his muzzle.

"TAKE THIS!"

The wolf roared with absolute energy, causing a strange sound to be heard just before throwing his magical attack, which completely shattered the place where they stood. Issei continued running towards the front and was swallowed by the attack practically instantly, leaving no trace behind. Even so, his opponent was not confident and continued to give energy to his attack to make sure to kill him.

The seconds passed, and when he thought he had finally managed to defeat him...

At that moment, he knew how wrong he was.

The wolf's eyes widened in complete disbelief as he watched a gigantic hand emerge from the huge tumult of destructive energy. The surprise only increased even more after seeing how the hand slowly approached until it reached the magic circle, piercing it as if it were nothing. The wolf's eyes widened even more as he saw his magic circle begin to melt as the dragon's shadowy face appeared amidst the condensed and vast energy.

The dragon continued to move forward as if nothing was happening until he used his two large hands to grab the face of the huge wolf. He tried to push him away by putting even more force to his magical attack, but to no avail, as Issei was not even affected.

The wolf's face began to make strange sounds, and in a few seconds his face began to deform because Issei's grip was so strong that it was shattering his skull.

Finally, the magical attack ceased in a huge explosion that generated a gigantic shockwave along with a large crater. The wolf went flying and rolling across the floor in a manner that appeared to be quite painful, until finally his face was embedded in the ground, generating a large line in his wake. The wolf's body fell without mere reaction as his head was stuck in the sand, as if he were an ostrich.

Although it seemed that the battle was finally over, the wolf got up out of nowhere and started running at full speed, taking advantage of the fact that he was quite far away from Issei because of what happened recently.

"There's no way I can defeat him!" He exclaimed to himself, his attempts to run away were more than clear. "I have to escape now while I have the chance!"

The big wolf continued to run at all the speed he could use, convinced that he could escape. For that very reason his shock was hard to describe as the shadowy face of the huge dragon appeared to his right out of nowhere.

Issei attacked him with his wing before he could even react. The wolf's eyes widened in shock as he felt the lower half of his body detach from the upper half, only to roll away several meters, leaving the whole place stained with his blood.

The big wolf slowly opened his eyes, feeling like he couldn't even walk anymore. That was a fact when he turned his gaze, seeing that his body had been torn in half. His pained and almost lifeless gaze returned to Issei, watching as he stopped several meters away from him while looking at him with a terrifying and monstrous aura around him.

"Who...who are you?" The wolf spoke his last words to him, vomiting a large amount of blood in progress.

Issei paused to look at him for several seconds, his gaze denoting that the use of vocabulary was unavailable in his mind right now.

"I see, you can't even answer me." Thought the wolf, spitting out more blood.

The huge dark dragon raised his face to the pale sky and opened his mouth. The surrounding sand and debris began to levitate and swirl around him as a small sphere grew larger and larger.

The wolf's eyes watched emotionlessly as an attack of a magnitude never seen before for him grew larger and larger, generating great tremors in the surrounding area.

The atmosphere of the place changed completely from a white color to a purple color. That was not the only thing, as numerous energy-charged lightning bolts were present around the huge attack that was creating a myriad of very strange anomalies around it.

Before receiving the strong attack, the wolf closed his eyes, already completely resigned to his death.

"In these instances, I can only wonder..." Thought the wolf, only to see the dragon lower his head to aim the giant magical sphere at him.

"How did the damn Demons manage to contain this monster?"

"DRAGON SHOT!"

"Hey, are you having some trouble?" Vali asked him, seeing how Arthur was sweating from holding the containment bubble.

That's right, both he and the blond had gone to the Dimensional Breach in an effort to get a better understanding of how the strange place worked.

"I don't know what's going on, but the breach is encountering a lot of anomalies right now." The blond stated, causing Vali to look at him with interest.

"And what does that mean exactly? You mean Great Red is nearby?" The albino asked, earning a quick negative from Arthur.

"It might be Great Red, but it's highly unlikely. These kinds of fluctuations are only due to a great source of power that is distorting the dimension we belong in." The blond stated, drawing Vali's interest even more.

"Do you think it has something to do with Trihexa's confinement?"

"At the moment I can't think of any other more logical option. I don't think Great Red is increasing or decreasing his power for the sake of it. Surely the fact that the seal holding him captive is deteriorating creates these kinds of strange anomalies." The blond deduced, receiving a nod from Vali.

"In any case, I think we'd better get out. It's dangerous to remain here if the breach is in this state." The albino stated.

"On that we are in agreement. The problem is that I wouldn't know how to tell you exactly in what space we would exit." Arthur cautioned, earning a nod from Vali.

"That doesn't matter, there's no real dangerous place for us." Clarified the albino as if it was nothing, receiving a nod from his friend.

They both exited the Dimensional Breach without expecting the big surprise they were about to get.

Vali and Arthur's eyes widened to the max after seeing a great destruction in front of their eyes.

"...What the hell happened here?" Vali said for both of them, seeing how Gremory Manor was torn to pieces, plus there were many injured Demons to be found.

"We'd better get the hell out of here, it's none of our business." The blond declared, seeing all the destruction in the place.

Vali stood watching for a few more seconds, and just as he was about to take in his companion's words, he could hear something that chilled his skin.

"Issei! Issei! Why...?!" Gasper was crying nonstop as he covered his face, trying to take in everything that had happened.

Hearing Issei's name, Vali couldn't fear anything but the worst. After all, he knew that his rival's condition wasn't exactly good right now.

"Hey, Vali...!" Arthur called out to him, but only resigned himself when he saw that his leader wasn't listening to him.

The vast majority of Demons were startled at the sight of the White Dragon Emperor's arrival, though the White Dragon Emperor hardly paid them any attention. All he cared about was talking to the half-vampire.

"Hey, kid..." The albino called out to him authoritatively, getting Gasper to raise his face, though at no point did he stop his crying. "What happened here, where's Issei?"

The albino could only be surprised when he had to cover himself from a blow that went straight for his face.

"Damn you! You killed him! The Khaos Brigade took advantage of the situation!" Gasper exclaimed with a great fury, trying to deliver another blow that Vali stopped without inconvenience.

"Relax. Remember that the Khaos Brigade is not a joint organization." The albino stated, trying to calm Gasper down. "Besides, I wouldn't gain anything by attacking the Demons either, mainly because that's the Faction to which Issei, whom I consider a friend, belongs." He clarified at last, getting Gasper to calm down completely, though that didn't stop his sobbing.

"They came from the Khaos Brigade... I couldn't even see them because I had been knocked out just as the attack began... And they, they..." Gasper's eyes began to cry harder.

"They killed Issei!"

Both Vali and Arthur were speechless after hearing such a statement.

The first to react was the blond, who looked at his friend and leader with concern, as he knew how much he held Issei in high esteem.

Although outwardly Vali didn't seem to flinch, his paler-than-normal face and fists clenched to the point of bleeding made it clear how he was feeling right now.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to tell you all the details personally." After hearing that voice, they both turned around to come face to face with Sirzechs, who also looked quite hurt.

END OF CHAPTER! (or no)

I hope you enjoyed it!

This is how this arc begins, and from now on you will see two different plots. One focused on how Issei must go through all the warnings of the Twelve Gates of Hell to return, while the other one concentrates on the reactions about Issei's death, and the future measures that will be taken.

With nothing more to add...

Well, actually I have one more little thing to add.

Anyway, I'll say goodbye here.

Thank you very much for reading!

Oblivious to all the troubles and the coming war that was about to come, Ophis and Great Red were floating aimlessly in the Dimensional Breach. The Dragon Goddess was over the head of her "brother" who was in his dragon form, as was usual for him.

"I didn't tell you before, but thank you for letting things go on as they were meant to be." Stated the male dragon. "I know that these days Issei became a very important person to you, just like those women. I can see that you are very distressed by the whole current situation."

"It only bothers me to have to watch them suffer. I know Issei will be back soon, but still..." Ophis couldn't help but pout prettily at everything that was going on.

"They'll probably worry about you when they see you disappeared." The Dragon God stated, earning a nod from Ophis.

"I think they'll be more focused on dealing with their own grief these days." Replied the Dragon Goddess, opting for an innocent look.

"I can already imagine the reaction the readers will have when Issei returns and Tiamat finds out that he's still alive. She'll be the first to find out, they'll be reunited in the Family Realm and have three snowy but very passionate nights... Ouch!" Ophis rubbed her head with a slight pout as she was hit by Great Red, who looked quite angry.

"Don't spoil like that!"
