UA Meeting room
Aizawa's pov
A couple days have passed after the attack, and things have changed. I am now covered in bandages and Thirteen is still in recovery. After I was cleared out of the hospital, Nezu called for an emergency meeting. There are many more pros here than last time to probably discuss Garou again since he somehow escaped.
"Now that everyone is here, let the meeting begin." Nezu says, starting the meeting. "As you know, two days ago a group known as the League of Villains attacked the USJ as well as injuring both Aizawa and Thirteen." Nezu begins. "However, it seems that Garou was also at the USJ with the League of Villains, according to All Might and the students who encountered him." Nezu explains. "So, does that mean Garou is working with the League?" Midnight asks.
"Unlikely. Though I was nearly knocked out, I could faintly see Garou and the League's leader, Shigaraki, fighting each other. It's clear that Garou may have been allied with them, but it ended at the USJ." I explain. "What happened next?" Hawks asks. "I arrived and fought Garou. However, Garou proved to be much more powerful than I thought." All Might answers. "What do you mean?" Hawks asks. "I mean he nearly beat me." All Might says.
Everyone is shocked at this news. It's not surprising. All Might, to them, is unbeatable. Yet, a new villain nearly beat him. "Damn, he must have a strong quirk if he could take on you." Hawks commented. Nezu and All Might look nervous after Hawks said that. "Is something wrong?" I ask. "…During our fight, Garou revealed that he in fact doesn't have a quirk." All Might says. "H…He…He's quirkless?" Midnight stutters as All Might nods.
"BULL SHIT!" Mirko screams. "You mean I got my ass handed to me on a silver platter by a quirkless kid?!" Mirko yells. "Um…Yes." All Might says. "How?! He has done things a person with a quirk could do!" Mirko says. "He must have trained his body beyond its limits." Present Mic speculates. "According to what Garou said, he was trained by Silverfang." All Might says as the other older pros and I are shocked. "Uh…Who?" Hawks asks.
"Silverfang was the number 1 hero years ago." I explain. "Huh. Never heard of him." Hawks says. "I wouldn't blame you. The HPSC covered up his hero career shortly after he retired." Vlad King says. "Why" Mirko asks. "Unfortunately, that information is classified." Nezu answers. "What happened to him after he retired?" Midnight asks. "Silverfang now runs a dojo outside of Mosutafu." Nezu answers
"And have you informed him of Garou?" Midnight asks. "We have. He confirmed that Garou was a former pupil of his, but he didn't disclose more than that." Nezu answers. "So what now? Do we keep looking for Garou?" Present Mic asks. "Yes, but the HPSC has give out new orders." Nezu says. "What new orders." Snipe asks. "…They've put out a kill or capture order on Garou." Nezu answers.
"Kill?! But that's everything we stand for!" Mirko yells. "I don't understand. Why put out a kill or capture order on Garou?" Prese Mic asks. "Unfortunately, they wouldn't say." Nezu answers. I agree that Garou is a major threat, but killing him is not what heroes do. "I understand that you're angry with this, but it's luckly a kill or capture, so we can just capture him." Nezu reassures us.
"Do you think you can fight Garou again, All Might?" Hounddog asks. "…It's a high probability." All Might says. "Yes it is. But, you all will help him next time. I was to arrogant before, but now we must band together to stop Garou. Everyone, including the low ranked heroes." Nezu says. "But, what do we tell the public?" Vlad asks. "We tell them the truth. That Garou is quirkless and nearly beat All Might." Nezu answers. "Why?" Midnight asks. "We need to keep the people on our side. And that's by telling them the full truth." Nezu explains. "That will be all for today. You may leave." Nezu says as I leave. I'm not sure about this. There's something that All Might and Nezu aren't telling us. But, I can't worry about that now. Right now, I need to rest.
Mirko's pov
I can't believe the HPSC is going this far. Sure Garou is a major threat, but no one deserves death. "Ugh, why do I even care about him?" I ask myself. Truth is, after our battle I gained some respect for him. He is different from other villains. He could've hurt my sister, but he didn't. There is more to him than we know. "I hope I find you first before a fake hero does." I say to myself. I have to stop Garou before he eventually gets himself killed.
Endeavor's pov
Heh, so there is someone who can beat All Might. If I can defeat Garou then I will be the number 1 hero. Get ready Garou, for your demise is coming. Now to return home to continue Shoto's training.
Two weeks later at UA
Midoriya's pov
It's been two weeks since the USJ attack and we all recovered. Well, most of us. Some of our classmates dropped out in fear of facing real villains again, but mostly Garou. Aoyama, Ojiro, Koda, Sato, Shoji, Jirou, Sero, Hagakure, and Mineta all left because of the attack. I honestly don't blame Jirou. She, along with Kaminari and Yaoyorozo, encountered the Hero Hunter and suffered major injuries.
I look around the class and see that only 11 of us are left. This is not what I expected for my first year. Dammit! Now only half of our class is left. But, I guess it's better that Mineta is gone. I never liked how much of a pervert he was. "Hey Tsu, who do you think is going to teach class today?" Mina asks Tsu. "No idea. Mr. Aizawa is still recovering, so—", "Morning class." We hear Aizawa as he enters the class, heavily bandaged.
"Mr. Aizawa?! What are you doing here?!" We all yell. "Mr. Aizawa, I'm glad you're okay!" Iida yells. "You call that okay?" Uraraka asks. I agree. He looks like a mummy right now. "My well being is irrelevant. What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet." Aizawa says, putting us on edge.
"The UA Sports Festival is about to start." Aizawa announces. "Ugh! Why would you scare us like that?!" Mina yells. "Is it really a good idea to hold the Sports Festival so soon after the villains attacked?" Yaouyrozu asks. "Yeah, they could attack while we're at the same place." Kaminari says. "Apparently the administration thinks this a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever." Aizawa explains.
"This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA. It's not something we can cancel bec of a few villains." Aizawa says. "But, it's just a sports festival." Kaminari argues. "Huh? Kaminari, don't you know how important this competition is?" I ask. "Yeah, but I don't want Garou breaking in to attack again?" Kaminari says with fear. He must've been real scared when he faced Garou.
"Our Sports Festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world. In the past everyone obsessed over the Olympic Games, but then quirks appeared and the Olympics has reduced in terms of scale and viewership. For anyone who cares about viewership, there's only one tournament that matters. And that's the Sports Festival." Aizawa explains.
"That's right. And top heroes everywhere will be watching. This is where we get scouted." Yaouyrozu says. She's right. After graduating, most students will become sidekicks before going pro. "It's true that joining a famous hero agency can garner you greater experience in popularity. That's why the festival matters. If you wanna go pro one day, then this event can open a path for you. One chance a year, three chances in a lifetime, no inspiring hero can afford to miss this festival." Aizawa explains.
"That means you better not slack off on your training. Class dismissed." Aizawa says. Alright, I can do this. This is my moment to shine.
That night at Bang's dojo
Bang's pov
So far, my former student hasn't made any moves as of late. He is possibly recovering from his and All Mights battle. The news barely went into detail about the USJ attack, but what they did mention was that Garou was, intentionally, working with some villain group and fought All Might and lost. He is becoming a greater danger the longer he remains uncaptured. I wanted to stay out of it, but now the HPSC has put out a capture or kill order on Garou. Even after what he did to my students, I can't allow him to die by those pretenders hands. Besides, he is my responsibility.
The door to my dojo opens and a man, who I have not seen in so long, walks through. "Have you put all your affairs in order?" the Man asks. "I'm an old man. Alone in the world. Same as you, brother." I answer to my brother, Bomb. "Don't be ridiculous. I'll have you know I bid farewell to several hundred disciples." Bomb informs me. "You cut ties with everything you had to come to your younger brother's aid. And for that you have my thanks." I thank Bomb.
"Well, if we don't stop that Garou fellow, he'll come after my dojo soon enough." He says as he cracks his knuckles. "Of course I came." Bomb says as we make our way to the door to begin our search. "We must be careful with this one brother. You can not imagine how fierce and powerful that wretch may have become by now." I inform Bomb. "Certainly fierce enough to call for my assistance." Bomb says. We must find Garou before it's too late.
In the morning in Garou's Shack
Garou's pov
"Ugh…God I feel like shit." I say to myself. Over the last two weeks most of my wounds have healed, but some of my bones are still broken. And to add fuel to the fire, I caught a fever. "*Sigh*…God Dammit, why did I hold back?" I ask myself.
I wouldn't be this wounded if I just went all out. But then again, it was mainly that kid. I get up from the couch to go soak a rag to help cool myself. While getting the rag wet, I look in the mirror to check to see if any of my wounds opened up again. I check the bandages on my chest and arms and see that they're still sealed. Thank god, I didn't want to deal with replacing the bandages.
I go back to the couch to lay down and put the rag on my head. "Huff…huff…I can't shake this fever. I might be out of commission for about a week." I say, breathing hard. "I can't just stay here. I need to do something that will help me in the future." I say to myself. But then I remember what event is coming up. "That's right, in two days the Sports Festival will start. I might be able to get some useful info on the students. Especially that brat, Deku. If that's actually his name." I say. I'll just sneak in there with a disguise and watch.
