WHAT IF THE AVENGERS LANDED IN THE PREQUELS? ... PART II

Far off in the galaxy on the planet of Naboo, lived Peter and Padme. They were a loving couple who had eagerly awaited the arrival of their twins. The air was filled with excitement as they prepared their humble abode for the new additions to their family.

Peter and Padme discovered a deep connection, their shared experiences of fighting for justice and protecting their loved ones forging a bond between them. They decided to make Naboo their home, building a life together amidst the serene landscapes. The people of Naboo welcomed them with open arms, grateful for their heroism during the Clone Wars.

Peter, after finally finishing his fights in the Clone Wars with the other Avengers, set to work crafting a pair of beautifully carved cribs for their babies. Each crib was adorned with intricate designs, reflecting his love and dedication. Padme, with her small artistic flair, painted the nursery walls in soothing pastel colors, creating a serene environment for their little ones. Even when they had a whole castle worth of servants that could have done the task for them, Peter insisted that they do it themselves. Because if they weren't going to make the time to do it, he didn't see the reason for doing it at all. Padme had to admire how far he was going for their kids.

As the due date approached, Peter and Padme busied themselves with all the necessary preparations. They spent hours meticulously folding tiny clothes, arranging them neatly in the drawers. They lovingly stitched blankets and knitted tiny booties, imagining the warmth and comfort they would provide. The loving couple spent hours brainstorming names, their hearts brimming with excitement and anticipation.

As they sat by the crackling fireplace, Peter suggested, "How about Noah and Emma? They are classic and timeless."

Padme nodded as her eyes sparkled. "Yes, those names have a beautiful ring to them for where you are from. But what about something more unique? Like Aurora and Orion?"

Peter smiled, imagining their children growing up under the same sky that held the namesakes of their twins. "Aurora and Orion sound enchanting. They capture the wonder and magic we hope our children will embrace."

Lost in a world of possibilities, Padme suddenly exclaimed, "What about Luna and Leo? It's celestial yet grounded."

Peter's face lit up with joy. "Luna and Leo...that's perfect! It combines our love for the night sky with a touch of strength and bravery."

However, as they continued their quest for the perfect names, their thoughts turned to nature. Padme softly whispered, "How about Willow and Ivy? They symbolize growth, resilience, and the beauty of the natural world."

Peter nodded in agreement. "Willow and Ivy...it's as if the names themselves carry a sense of tranquility and harmony."

But the couple couldn't help but consider names that reflected their own heritage. With a thoughtful expression, Peter suggested, "What about Lucas and Sophia? They are strong, timeless names with a touch of elegance."

Padme grinned, cherishing the thought of their children embodying the strength and grace of those names. "Lucas and Sophia...I love it. It's a beautiful homage to our roots."

As the days turned into weeks, and the twins' arrival drew near, Peter and Padme continued their search for the perfect names. They explored countless options, each name carrying a unique story and meaning. Finally, on a peaceful evening just before the sun dipped below the horizon, they found their answer.

Peter gently held Padme's hand and said, "How about Kaiden and Korina?'

Padme's eyes welled up with tears of joy. "Kaiden and Korina...it's perfect. Our children's names reflect our deepest aspirations for them."

And so, as the moon rose high in the night sky, Peter and Padme embraced each other, knowing that they had found the names that would forever grace the lives of their beloved twins.

Friends and family gathered to lend a helping hand, bringing gifts and offering advice. Peter's Avenger friends shared her wisdom about parenthood. What little knowledge that most of them even had to share. Many of them didn't really have kids, some of them were mostly aunts or uncles to other people's kids and that was all they had to offer. While Padme's sister, a mother of three, guided her through the intricacies of raising kids. The couple felt blessed to have such a supportive network around them.

With each passing day, Peter and Padme's anticipation grew. They spent their free evenings sitting in the nursery, imagining the joy that would soon fill their home. They talked about the values they wished to instill in their children, the dreams they had for their future, and the adventures they would embark on as a family. The Clone Wars and all of their evils were behind them, and there were only mere threats over the galaxy to deal with.

As the day approached, excitement filled the air. Padme's grace and strength shone through as she prepared for the arrival of their little ones. Peter, with his unyielding sense of responsibility, ensured that their home was safe and sound. With each passing day, their love for each other and their unborn children grew stronger.

Finally, the long-awaited day arrived. Padme and Peter found themselves in the bustling hospital, surrounded by the caring staff who were ready to assist them. Padme's labor was intense, but she drew strength from her love for Peter and their unborn twins. Peter stood by her side, offering words of encouragement and support.

After what felt like an eternity, the cries of newborns filled the room. Padme and Peter exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with joy and anticipation. The doctor gently handed them their first bundle of joy—a beautiful baby girl with Padme's radiant smile and Peter's twinkling eyes. They named her Korina, as they discussed.

Their hearts swelled with love as they held Korina in their arms, marveling at her tiny fingers and delicate features. But there was still another surprise awaiting them. Moments later, the doctor placed another precious bundle in their arms—a handsome baby boy with Peter's mischievous grin and Padme's compassionate spirit. They named him Kaiden, just as they discussed.

As Padme and Peter looked at their twins, they felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Their family was complete, and the world seemed brighter than ever before. They knew that Korina and Kaiden would grow up surrounded by love, nurtured by their unique blend of strength, compassion, and heroism.

In the days that followed, the castle overflowed with joy and laughter. Peter and Padme embraced the challenges and joys of parenthood, working together as a team. They took turns soothing their little ones in the middle of the night, cherishing the precious moments of bonding and nurturing.

As the years went by, Peter and Padme watched their twins grow into remarkable individuals. They fostered an environment of love, encouragement, and support, allowing their children to explore their passions and dreams. Their home became filled with music, art, and laughter, as their twins flourished in their unique talents.

Peter looked down as he was holding his daughter and rocking her to sleep. "Can you believe it? Our twins are finally here! I'm so grateful and relieved that the Clone Wars have come to an end."

Padme smiled as she looked down at her son in her hands. Kaiden was fast asleep but was still a little fussy. "Oh, Peter, our family feels complete now. Holding our precious babies in my arms, I can't help but think about the turbulent times we've been through."

Peter smiled as he looked down at Korina. "It's been a rollercoaster, hasn't it? But we've always managed to find our way back to each other. I'm so proud of you, Padme, for your unwavering strength and dedication to peace."

Padme smiled and pecked her husband on the cheek. "And I'm proud of you too, Peter. You've shown immense bravery on the battlefield and proved to be a compassionate leader. Our children will grow up knowing their father fought for a better galaxy."

Peter smiled as he remembered the day that Fives revealed those chips that were going to kill the Jedi and revealed that Palpatine was behind the Clone Wars. "I want our children to grow up in a world where they don't have to fear war or tyranny. I hope the galaxy will heal and rebuild after the devastation of the Clone Wars."

Padme smiled and fixed the blanket on her son before putting him to bed. "I share the same hope, Peter. We must work towards a future where our children can live in harmony, where they can pursue their dreams without the shadow of conflict looming over them."

Peter smiled as he cradled his daughter closer before moving over to place her in the crib. "We'll do everything in our power to create that future for them, Padme." He then walked over and gave his wife a little love as he held her close. "Together, as a family, we'll advocate for justice and equality, and inspire others to do the same."

Padme smiled and remembered the day that she met Peter in the yard of the castle. The day that her castle was invaded, she was still acting to be a member of the servants to avoid capture. Peter thought that he was rescuing some servant girl, and he didn't treat her any differently than he did if she were anyone else. That was one of the many reasons that she had fallen for him.

"Yes, Peter, our love and values will guide us. We'll teach our children the importance of empathy, understanding, and the power of diplomacy." Padme said. Not that she meant to put such a burden on her kids, especially only being a few days old, but she saw great potential in both of them. "They will be agents of change."

Peter chuckled at his wife's enthusiasm for the kids but also knew it was warranted especially with there being a chance they would be granted powers due to his DNA. That was something he should bring up with Wanda or Strange. They might be able to tell if the twins have powers or any special abilities.

"And they'll know that they come from a lineage of warriors and peacemakers. Our legacy will live on through them, Padme. They'll carry the torch of hope for generations to come."

Padme turned around and wrapped her arms around Peter's neck to kiss him. "I couldn't ask for a better partner in this journey, Peter. With you by my side, I know we can overcome any challenge and create a brighter future for our family and the galaxy."

Peter smiled as he kissed her back. "And I couldn't ask for a more incredible wife and mother for my children, Padme. Together, we'll shape a galaxy of justice and peace."

Padme looked down at the kids and wondered what would happen and the things that could come up. "Let's make a promise, Peter." She wanted to ensure their relationship would survive the turmoil of the galaxy. "No matter what lies ahead, we'll always be there for each other and for our children. Our love will be the foundation that carries us through."

Peter smiled and knew she was worried about their relationship. It was something that came up frequently during the Clone Wars. "I promise, Padme. Our love will be the guiding force in our lives, nurturing our family and serving as a beacon of hope for all who seek a better tomorrow."

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into years. Korina and Kaiden flourished under the loving guidance of Padme and Peter. Growing up on Naboo meant the twins were surrounded by beauty and tranquility. They spent their days exploring the lush forests, swimming in the crystal-clear lakes, and learning about the rich history of their planet. Peter and Padme nurtured their children's abilities, guiding them while encouraging them to find their own paths.

Together, Padme and Peter faced the challenges of parenthood, cherishing every milestone, from Korina's first diplomatic negotiation to Kaiden's first heroic act. They created a home filled with laughter, love, and understanding—a sanctuary where their twins could grow, learn, and embrace their own destinies.

As the years passed, Padme and Peter watched Korina and Kaiden become strong, compassionate individuals, ready to make their mark on the galaxy. And as they did, Padme and Peter knew that their greatest adventure was not in the battles they fought or the worlds they saved but, in the love that they shared and the legacy they passed on to their extraordinary twins.

Peter, who had (mostly) retired from his Spider-Man persona, dedicated himself to teaching his children the importance of responsibility and using their powers for good. Even though they have yet to show signs of having powers such as he has, they still will have diplomatic powers that could change the galaxy. He shared stories of his own battles with villains and the lessons he had learned along the way.

Meanwhile, Padme, imparted her wisdom to Korina, teaching her about diplomacy, leadership, and the power of compassion. Korina absorbed her mother's teachings, determined to honor her legacy by fighting for justice and equality in the galaxy.

Kaiden was captivated by his father's tales, eager to follow in his footsteps and protect the innocent just as Spider-Man had done. However, it turned out that she had different ways of doing it. Seems that since she didn't show the powers of her father, she wanted to test out trying to become a Jedi. Even though she was warned about how it might never happen, Kaiden never gave up on trying to unlock her potential as a Jedi.

Nestled in the quiet castle of Naboo, Peter and Padme were resting together. As the sun slowly peeked through the curtains, casting a warm glow into the room, Peter stirred awake. He stretched his arms and smiled, grateful for the brand-new day that lay ahead. Gently, he nudged Padme, who was still peacefully asleep beside him.

"Good morning, love," he whispered, planting a soft kiss on her cheek.

Padme slowly opened her eyes, her lips curving into a sleepy smile. "Good morning, Peter," she murmured, her voice filled with affection. Looking at the clock, Peter recognized that they had slept in a little later. But that was due to some...unforeseen circumstances that happened the other night.

"I'll go see what the troublemakers have gotten into while we were asleep," Peter said as he got up and stretched a little. He groaned as he was starting to dress. "Man, I am feeling sore."

"Don't tell me I've finally worn out the Spectacular Spider-Man." Padme flirted as she sat up, keeping the sheets up to cover herself.

"Oh, hush," Peter said as he leaned over and pecked her lips again. "I'll go check on the twins."

Peter made his way through the castle and down the hall to where the twins' bedrooms were. They weren't far from their parents' bedroom, but it was a long walk considering how far apart the doorways were. Peter approached the doorway to his son's bedroom as it happened to be the closest and his sister wanted the bedroom with a balcony on it. Giving her that bedroom turned out to be a mistake considering how often their daughter would find ways of sneaking off.

Peter opened the door to his son's room and found he actually wasn't in bed but at the small workbench that he had asked for. Seems that Kaiden had picked up his father's knack for tinkering and would love to just do exactly that. It even gave him the nickname of the Tinkerer amongst the Avengers since he would often fix or even upgrade some of their gear.

"Hey, what's that you are working on?" Peter asks his son.

"It's just a little something I made for Uncle Quill," Kaiden said as he tossed to his father what it was. Peter caught it and saw it looked almost like a miniature gravity mine. "It's an advanced gravity mine where instead of pulling things towards it, it can shut down the gravity in a small vicinity of it."

Peter looked down and wasn't sure if he should be impressed or scared at what his son could accomplish with a few days' work. One thing was for certain, he was going to give Shuri a run for her money one day. "Okay, I have to say, that is cool." He then tossed it back towards his son, who caught it. Stumbling a little every time he caught it. "Breakfast is gonna be soon, go help your mother and I'll get your sister."

"Sure," Kaiden said as he looked over the device. "Just five more minutes, there is a chance this could explode and change the gravity of my whole room."

Peter didn't like how that sounded and looked around in the room. "WALL-E?"

WALL-E was Kaiden's droid that Peter had gifted to him a while back. He looked completely identical to his movie counterpart from his universe, even though his kids had never even seen the film he was based on. The droid peaked his head out from the other side of the bed where his charging port was placed.

"Keep an eye on the kid. Make sure he doesn't blow anything up." Peter told the droid who nodded in compliance.

Peter closed the door as he approached his daughter's bedroom. "Sweetie? You up?" But he didn't hear anything and got worried. "Korina?"

Peter then opened the door and saw there was no sign of his daughter. Peter sighed and knew he should have seen this coming. It had been a while since she had done something like this, and they just thought she was overdoing these things anymore. He looked and noticed that the charging port for Korina's droid, the EVE bot from the same Wall-E movie was also missing. tapped on his comms to try and contact his head of security.

"Fives?" Peter contacted the Clone he served with at the end of the Clone Wars. "She's done it again." He then looked over to the balcony and sighed. "She is either gonna be in the cellar, roaming the streets or...the most likely..." He approached the balcony and looked out to see the waterfall leading to the woods. "...in the woods."

Korina was indeed running through the woods wearing the adventurous attire that her mother gave her when she would sneak off like this. She also had arm wraps around her to help her when she wanted to randomly start climbing trees or something. Running down the makeshift path she made through the forest, she ran over to a rock and did a front flip. While her brother was more of the brains of their parents, Korina obviously got the adventurous side of her parents.

As she recovered from her roll, Korina continued to run through the forest, leaping from stone to stone and even sliding down a hill. From there, she leaped onto the lake and landed on top of a resting Falumpaset before continuing through the forest. As she did so, EVE came flying down and floated aside Korina as she ran.

"Ha! I finally lost you." Korina mocked the droid.

EVE giggled at her and flew ahead to make sure the path was safe. Peter had programmed both droids to put the safety of the kids as their directives. So, EVE would often travel ahead or stay back to keep everything safe, especially since she has taken it upon herself to do some exploring and running around in the forest. Running to a stop just around the waterfall, Korina could see as far from the castle all the way to the ship's docking port. She sighed and just took in the scenery.

"Ma'am." Fives called, getting Korina to turn and see he had arrived. "You gave your parents quite the scare."

"Fives." Korina sighed and sat down. "Sorry, you know I just love to start the day like this."

"I understand. But you need to remember you have people who worry for you." Fives said as he radioed in. "Tell him I found her. Bringing her in."

"Taking me back so soon?" Korina asks.

"Yeah, it's gonna be a while." Fives joked as he walked over and removed his helmet showing his age. He has gotten much older since the Clone Wars ended fifteen years ago. "And maybe we got lost on the way."

Korina smiled and saw Fives was helping her just enjoy the quiet. "Thanks."

"All the years since the Clone Wars, I never got a moment to sit and relax." Fives said as he relaxed. "We Clones wouldn't exist if it weren't for the wars, but we were bred for fighting. To just relax is a luxury."

Korina smiled and relaxed as EVE flew down alongside them. "Was it really that bad back then?"

Fives chuckled at hearing that. "They weren't as bad as some would make them out. But they were terrible."

Korina's lips curved upwards as she leaned over on Fives, admiring the breathtaking view of the distant landscape. They were surrounded by tranquility, with only the sound of the wind to break the silence. Suddenly, their reverie was disrupted by EVE's curious behavior. She appeared to be staring intently at something in the distance, her arm outstretched as if pointing toward it. As they approached her, they noticed that she was completely motionless, entranced by whatever had caught her attention.

As they drew closer to the spot where EVE was standing, Fives' heart began to race. He noticed a tall figure clad in an unfamiliar suit of armor. The man's mask projected strange, otherworldly symbols that seemed to writhe and twist in the light. Fives' hand instinctively went to his blaster, ready to defend himself and the princess against whatever this stranger might do.

"Hold it right there!" Fives demanded as he stepped in front of Korina. "State your name and your business."

"I have gone through many names over many lifetimes." The mysterious stranger told them. "But I suppose you may call me by my current name."

"And that would be what exactly?" Korina asks.

"Kang."
