Disclaimer: I know that Chris and Karl aren't together, and Tucker is still little, but he is older in my story
"You're a foster child?" "Yes." "Cool. So what is it like?" "Hard bouncing from one house to another." "What was the longest you lived at a house?" Maya had to think because she had been in a lot of houses.
"I guess with my parents because I lived with them from the time I was born until I was six." "Why did you leave your parents?" "They got arrested." "They did? What happened?"
"They were out because my dad had just gotten a promotion and he worked his butt off for that promotion and they got into a car accident and dad got 8 to 12 years and my mom didn't survive." "Have you talked to your dad?" "No I haven't heard from him since the night of the accident."
"Have you thought about contacting him?" "I don't have away if I did." "What's his name." "Michael Roberts ." Tucker looked at Maya shocked because he had a best friend in first grade with the same fathers name
"Maya, what was your mom's name?" "Delilah. Why are you asking all of these questions?" "One more ok?" "Ok." "Did you have a brother named Andrew?" Maya froze and then turned around and started to run.Tucker ran after her, keeping only a few inches between them.
An hour later
Tucker turned as he looked around himself and saw that they were at Maya's apartment building. "Maya please tell me what's wrong." "I don't want." Maya broke down crying as she thought about her brother who she haven't seen since they were seven when they got separated. Tucker gave her a hug and let her cry.
"It's going to be okay, I promise." "How do you know? You weren't separated from one of the most important people in the world." Tucker just let her cry on his shoulder.
The next week
Thanks to Tucker Casie is a whole different child after she gets back from her dad's. "Daddy." Tucker bent down and caught her as she ran into Tucker arms. "Did you have fun at your other daddy's house." "No but Daddy says that I'm going to be a big sister. What does that mean?" "It means that your daddy is going to have another baby." "Oh. Let's play." "Ok."
Little did they know Maya had come out to greet her daughter but stopped as
the two intercat. Just then, she was noticed. "Mommy!" Tucker put her down and watched as Casie hugged her mom around the legs.
Later that night
Tucker was down in the basement helping Maya getting Casie ready for bed. "Maya, when you get done with Casie's story, I need to talk to you." "Ok." 'You ready, Daddy?" "Ok pick out a book." Casie went to her bookshelf and looked and then carried one of her favorite books over to Tucker.
"Good choice." "Daddy how come you don't sleep in here with me and mommy?" "Because I sleep upstairs with my brother." "Is your brother nice?" "Yes but he has his moments were he isn't nice." "Oh ok." "Casie did you brush your teeth?" Casie nodded and stared to rub her eyes.
After Casie was asleep
"Come on nobody would be in my room because they all are watching a movie." Tucker took Maya's hand and then walked to his room once inside Tucker shut the door and then locked it. "I found your brother."
