Yoo, Kai here! I'm back with another chapter! Really, I write these when I get creative bursts of energy so there's no real schedule for this story, but regardless I do hope you enjoy this chapter! Happy reading folks!

Rigby's bragging seemed to annoy Benson and Mordecai, but everybody still seemed to be rather confused.

"..Wait, huh? Pokemon obviously isn't one of those video games like Mordecai and Rigby told me! They're a whole species and stuff! I don't get it.." Cody just became more conflicted by the minute- how could he even make sense of most of this stuff? He was already feeling majorly overwhelmed. How was his species a video game?

"Uhh.. we should go to the computer upstairs," Mordecai said, quickly running up the steps while Rigby followed, not too far behind. Benson gave Cody a sympathetic, yet suspicious look, as he followed them as well.

"..What's a computer?" Cody muttered to himself, before just walking up the stairs as well. He nearly tripped once or twice, unsure on how to move up them.

As the boss, his two employees, and Cody walked into what seemed to be the "computer room", Mordecai logged into the computer, typing something into it that the Decidueye was surprised to be able to read. He had realized he could read before downstairs, but it still came as a shock and rather unusual. A ton of results came up on the computer, and eventually the bluejay clicked on a wiki page that seemed to be centered around.. ME?

"Wait, so that's.." Benson turned around to look at me, astonished. "..Video games have come alive around here a few times before, but never like this.. this is just.. wow."

"Yeah! This time, we didn't do anything! He just.. showed up! And he doesn't think he's from a video game either? This is super weird!" Mordecai seemed to be struggling to make sense of it all- and Cody was struggling too.

"Do you think we could let him stay at the park, Benson? We gotta figure this out, man! We can't just dump him on the street or something!" Rigby asked.

Cody was feeling more anxious by the minute. Was the world he lived in even real? Or was it all some sort of artificial world that he had somehow escaped? He felt his head spin, feeling nauseous as Rigby, and Benson started to argue on what to do.

"I'd like to help him out, but I can't just let him stay for free! And paying him to work here would overflow the park's budget! I can't do that." Benson shook his head.

"You have to at least try, Benson! Come on!" Rigby begged.

"Look, I can't do anything! Mr. Maellard is going to get seriously upset with me if I even spend another penny! With all the messes you two are always causing, it's a miracle the park is STILL RUNNING!" Benson got more angry.

"Oh, so now all of the sudden it's OUR fault? You have got to be kidding me!" Rigby argued, and as the two of them got louder, Cody began to feel his body shut down from the anxiety of it all.

Mordecai, who had stayed out of it up until that point, noticed how Cody seemed seriously out of it. "..Cody? You okay?" The bluejay asked, but the Decidueye didn't respond- instead, he fell to the ground, having fainted. "..CODY!"

With Cody passing out, Benson and Rigby turned around in shock. The last thing Cody heard before passing out was Mordecai yelling to get some guy named Skips..?

Before long, Cody woke up to an incredibly strong smell. He shot awake in shock, looking around in shock before seeing a white gorilla type figure.

"Smelling salts work every time." They said, as Cody began to back away in fear. Before long, though, he calmed as he recognized Mordecai, Rigby, and Benson standing beside the mysterious gorilla.

"Okay, so he's awake.. nothing too bad happened. I'm glad." Benson seemed a bit relieved.

"Well, Cody, this is Skips. Skips, this is Cody." Rigby pulled the two of them a bit closer, leading into a handshake. Cody didn't exactly understand what that meant, but a thought went through his head- it was to show respect, right? He wasn't sure where the thought came from, but he wasn't going to complain about it either.

"..So, you say this Pokemon bird guy is from a video game? Interesting.. I think i've seen this before. About a hundred and fifty years ago, this otter type guy named Art that claimed to be a Pokemon as well showed up at the park. After he came around, he ended up helping defeat a threat that nearly took out the entire park.. I think Cody might be here to help us through a similar situation." Skips looked at Cody with a stoic expression.

"A threat?" Cody asked, confused.

"Yeah.. it was an extremely strong dragon. To this day, i've never seen anything like it.. it wanted to converge our world with the digital world. It would've resulted in the death of us all, no doubt.. I don't want to put pressure on you, Cody, but you're gonna have to learn a lot if we're going to fend off that dragon again."

"The problem is I still can't house him at the park! It's just not in the budget.." Benson said, clearly frustrated. Cody did manage to grasp the fact that Benson just couldn't afford to keep him there, but it was still upsetting regardless.

"Well, why doesn't he stay as an unpaid intern? I believe we've done it before for college students, so what makes Cody any different?" Skips suggested.

"Wait.. that's actually a really good idea." Benson said, a smile on his face.

"So he can stay at the park?" Rigby excitedly asked.

"You'll have to make room for him in your guys' room and help him pay for food and all, but I think we can pull it off.. as long as I can get clearance from Mr. Maellard." Benson answered in response.

"Well, he better say yes. If Cody isn't around in the park to fend off this threat, it could spell doom for everybody," Skips said, urging the importance of the situation.

"I'll try my best." Is all that Benson said, leaving the little house that Skips seemed to be living in.

"Well, Cody.. I guess we can get you to meet the other guys." Mordecai said, helping Cody up from the ground.

"Other guys..?"

"Yeah. Muscle Man, Fives, and Pops also are around here. We can give you a tour of the park while we're at it," Mordecai said, as he went towards the door.

"I'll stay here." Skips said, as Rigby scurried off to follow Mordecai. Before long, that left Cody to nervously follow behind them. Chances are he'd be able to stay at the park.. but considering the pressure being placed on his shoulders, was that even a good thing? That was a question he'd have to answer on his own..
