"Alright, is everyone here?" Shadow asked, sweeping his gaze over the gathered Pokémon.

Pearl nodded her head and turned to face the leader of Team Eevee. "Yes, Shadow, everyone's here and accounted for." She told him confidently.

"Actually, two of the Team Pack members are absent." Came a voice from the entered of the room.

Everyone turned to see who had spoken.

It was Aura.

"Everyone except for Lightning and Swift." Aura spoke up, her arms crossed over her chest and her eyes glancing around the room.

Shadow blinked in surprise and turned to face the small dog-like emanation Pokémon with a small frown forming on his face.

"Swift's still unconcious," Leafblade murmured quietly with a sad glint in her eyes. "Lightning hasn't left her side since we returned to camp."

Silence fell upon the group as they took-in what Leafblade had just said.

Swift was still unconscious.

And Lightning wasn't here.

Shadow sighed heavily and shifted his gaze toward the members of Team Pack, who were all silent. None of them moved or said anything.

Well, everyone except Aura, that is. She was the only one who'd said more than one word to him since returning from the fight with Team Silversoul.

To be completely honest, it was making Shadow feel a bit uneasy.

"There's gotta be a way for us to cheer Lightning up!" Brownie spoke up suddenly, bringing the large Umbreon out of his thoughts.

The others turned to stare at Brownie like she had grown a second head.

"What?" she asked them, not knowing why they were staring at her like that.

Before any of them could answer her question, Lightning came bursting into the room, his face practically glowing with excitement.

"What's up, Light?" Dusk asked the small electric mouse. "Did something happen?"

Lightning was practically trembling with pent-up energy, his cheeks sparking and releasing a small serge of Thunder.

"Swift's awake!" the Team Pack leader practically shouted, releasing a massive Thunderbolt into the air out of pure joy.

Shadow growled and swiped a paw at Lightning's face. "Hey, watch it, little mouse."

Frost scowled and smacked shadow with her tail. "Are you kidding me right now?" she hissed lowly at him. "His girlfriend just woke up and you have the nerve to yell at him?"

Brownie was now also glaring up at him. "He didn't mean to launch that Thunderbolt! He's just really really excited, that's all." She growled, huffing and patting over to the Team Pack leader.

"Can I go see Swift?" she asked the Pikachu with a bright smile forming on her face.

Lightning smiled back at the little Eevee and nodded his head. "Yes, yes you can." He said cheerfully, wagging his thunderbolt-shaped tail like a dog in excitement. "Come on! Come on! Let's go! Let's go!" he cried out, racing away as fast as a streak of lightning.
