Third Person POV
"Are you nervous?"
"No. You?"
"Nope."
Crow quirked an eyebrow. "You sure about that?" he asked, not believing his girlfriend for even a second.
"Y-Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"
"You're shaking, sweating like a pig, and pacing back and forth," he pointed out.
She stopped walking and looked at her boyfriend sheepishly. "Ok, maybe I'm slightly nervous."
"Wow, really? I would've never guessed."
Uta smacked his chest and glared at him. "I don't need your sass."
"But you give me yours all the time," he retorted with a smile and hugged her.
Uta happily snuggled her head into his chest and wrapped her arms around him. "I love you."
"I love you too."
Someone knocked on their door.
"Come in!" Crow yelled.
The door opened, revealing Gordon. The older man saw the two, and he smiled. When they told them about their relationship two years ago, he was ecstatic and couldn't wait to be a grandfather when they got older.
Shanks, on the other hand, wasn't ecstatic to learn that his daughter had a boyfriend and would be having a LONG talk with the boy when they met.
"It's almost time," the teens nodded.
Crow looked at Uta. "You ready?" he asked.
She nodded and smiled. "Yeah, but for good luck," she pulled the winged teen into a passionate kiss. She then pulled back, having a goofy grin on her face. "Now I'm ready."
(Scene Shift)
The two were now on stage and faced hundreds of thousands of people looking at them. Uta was sightly shaking but quickly steeled her nerves, and Crow looked apathetic.
They looked at each other, smiled, and nodded. Soon, the music started to play, and they began signing.
(Felt like using this song)
"Huh, oh, oh.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh.
It's always a good time.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh.
It's always a good time."
Crow took the lead. "Woke up on the right side of the bed
What's up with this Prince song inside my head?
Hands up if you're down to get down tonight.
'Cause it's always a good time.
Slept in all my clothes like I didn't care.
Hopped onto a ship, take me anywhere.
I'm in if you're down to get down tonight.
Cause it's always a good time."
It switched to Uta. "Good morning and good night
I wake up at twilight."
They then went back to the duet. "It's gonna be alright.
We don't even have to try.
It's always a good time.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh.
It's always a good time.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
We don't even have to try.
It's always a good time." (good time, good time.)
(It's always a good time.)
(Whoa, oh oh oh).
Uta soloed again. "Freaked out, dropped my phone in the pool again."
"Checked out of my room, hit the ATM.
Let's hang out if you're down to get down tonight.
Because it's always a good time."
"Good morning and good night
I wake up at twilight," they returned to the duet.
"It's gonna be alright.
We don't even have to try.
It's always a good time."
"Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh.
It's always a good time."
"Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
We don't even have to try.
It's always a good time."
"Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh."
"It's always a good time.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
We don't even have to try.
It's always a good time."
"Doesn't matter when.
It's always a good time, then," Crow Sang
"Doesn't matter where,
It's always a good time then," Uta Sang.
"Doesn't matter when
It's always a good time, then," Crow sang again.
(It's always a good time.)
They sang together. "Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh, oh.
It's always a good time.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
We don't even have to try.
It's always a good time."
"Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh.
It's always a good time.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
We don't even have to try.
It's always a good time."
(Whoa, oh oh oh, oh oh oh.
Whoa, oh, oh, oh.
It's always a good time.
Whoa, oh oh oh, oh oh, oh)
By the time they were finished and breathing heavily, the crowd had gone wild and cheered for the young coupled performance, making them, especially Uta, incredibly happy.
Crow chuckled and waved at the crowd, making them cheer louder. He then looked at Uta and smiled. "You see. You had nothing to worry about. You were amazing, Uta."
Uta smiled and began to cry tears of joy. Without warning, she slammed her lips against the wings teens, not caring about having an audience seeing them kiss. The crowd went wild at the sight and cheered louder than ever before.
Once they broke their lip lock, they joined hands and raised in the air proudly for all to see, making the crowd cheer even more.
The young couple after this would soon become the talk of the world.
However, little did they know that wasn't ideal for them...
A week later (Timeskip)
"King, I have a mission for you."
The Lunarian raised an eyebrow. "And what's that?"
Kaido tossed him a newspaper, and the silvered-haired man's eyes widened when he saw the cover. It was an adolescent male Lunarian holding hands with a human girl.
King couldn't believe it. He was no longer the last of his kind. Internally, King was ecstatic, and if the winged man were correct, which he typically is, Kaido would order him to recruit the boy into the beast pirates, which he would gladly do.
"It looks like you're not the last of your kind as we thought," Kaido said, grinning like a madman. "I want you to find him and do whatever it takes to recruit him before Big Mom or the World Government gets to him, understood?"
King nodded and began his search.
End.
