Emerging from the bottom of the ladder, Noobmaster and FloatingUser found themselves in a massive complex. Moonlight streaming through broken windows revealed what looked like a university campus in derelict condition.

"Is this...an abandoned university?" FloatingUser asked in awe, looking around at the old classrooms, shattered tiles, and graffiti-covered walls.

"It must be!" Noobmaster replied, equally stunned. "But why is it just sitting here, buried and forgotten?"

Cautiously, yet compelled by curiosity, they ventured forth down the debris-strewn halls. Faded posters and tattered faculty flags indicated a once vibrant institution for higher learning.

Rounding a corner, they came face to face with a crumbling statue of the university's founder - a kindly faced elder Robloxian posing with a globe. A plaque at the base read "Robloxia Tech University."

"This place is like a relic from the past," FloatingUser whispered. Noobmaster nodded reverently. What mysteries awaited them within these hallowed abandoned halls?

Exploring deeper into the decaying university, Noobmaster and FloatingUser suddenly caught a glimpse of movement up ahead. Under the pale moonlight streaming through the shattered skylight, the grey avatar of N64PlayerSince96 could be seen stepping into an elevator at the end of the hallway.

"There he is!" FloatingUser exclaimed, pointing as the elevator doors closed behind the mysterious Robloxian.

"Quick, before he gets away!" Noobmaster said, sprinting towards the elevator with FloatingUser.

To their surprise, the campus directory next to the lift indicated it was somehow still in working order. The little display showed the elevator ascending to the top floor.

"This place still has power?" FloatingUser wondered aloud.

"Let's head up after him and get some answers," Noobmaster said, mashing the call button impatiently.

The elevator rattled upwards, passing the shattered remains of abandoned labs and classrooms on the lower levels. Reaching the second floor, Noobmaster and FloatingUser suddenly witnessed a shocking scene through a broken window.

On an adjacent building rooftop, the grey-skinned N64PlayerSince96 was facing off against another Robloxian. At this distance, they couldn't discern usernames, but the opponent had a light blue hoodie with jeans and sunglasses.

Before the blue avatar could react, N64Player swiftly gunned him down with a burst of assault rifle fire. The defeated Robloxian disappeared into pixels and code.

"Whoa, did you see that?" FloatingUser said.

"Yeah, N64 just totally took that guy out," Noobmaster replied. "But why? Let's get up there and get the drop on him before he escapes again."

Reaching the top floor, Noobmaster and FloatingUser burst out onto the roof, expecting to finally confront the elusive N64PlayerSince96 face to face. But strangely, he was nowhere in sight.

"Really? He disappeared again!" FloatingUser said in frustration.

Suddenly, a grey brick came flying out of the shadows, striking FloatingUser in the head and sending his health plummeting to 60%.

"Agh!" he cried out, collapsing to the ground. Noobmaster whirled to see N64Player vanishing over the rooftop ledge.

"You're not getting away this time!" Noobmaster yelled. He fired off a quick burst from his AK-47, managing to hit N64Player's left arm before he disappeared fully.

Noobmaster quickly helped FloatingUser to cover. "You okay buddy?"

"Ugh...I'll live," FloatingUser grunted, clutching his head. "But we've got to catch up to that sneaky N64!"

Regrouping back inside the rickety elevator, Noobmaster helped FloatingUser steady himself as they descended back down into the gloomy abandoned university.

"Don't worry, we'll get that N64 punk," Noobmaster said reassuringly. "He can't hide here forev-"

He was cut off by the sudden booming announcement echoing through the campus halls:

"9 Robloxians remaining..."

They looked at each other with renewed focus. The battle royale endgame had truly arrived. Only a handful of competitors still drew breath.

"We're so close now - I can taste victory," FloatingUser said, psyched up despite his injury. "Let's go hunt down N64Player and any other survivors!"

Noobmaster grinned and reloaded his rifle. "First place is as good as ours. Let's go claim what's rightfully ours!"

Pursuing N64Player back into the dark depths of the university, Noobmaster and FloatingUser moved swiftly but cautiously through the debris-strewn atriums and classrooms.

Without warning, a desk came flying through the air at FloatingUser from the shadows. He managed to dodge just in time, the furniture smashing loudly behind him.

"Show yourself, coward!" Noobmaster yelled out, shining his flashlight around. But N64Player had already vanished again.

"He's quick, I'll give him that," FloatingUser said. "But he can't run forever. Let's keep the pressure on."

Noobmaster nodded firmly. Even injured, FloatingUser showed no fear. Together they would root out this elusive avatar and any remaining competitors still lurking in the darkness.

Their gunshots echoed through the dead hallways as they fired at the slightest movement, shattering ancient desktop monitors and lecture hall chairs. Full domination was close...

Turning a corner, Noobmaster and FloatingUser suddenly came across a shocking scene - N64Player rapidly plunging a knife into another Robloxian, before disappearing yet again into the shadows.

In the brief glimpse they caught, the murdered avatar wore a red cap, tan jacket, and had a scruffy beard. But once more, they were too far to see usernames.

As the body despawned, the announcer echoed: "8 Robloxians remaining..."

"This N64 guy is picking everyone off," Noobmaster said.

FloatingUser shook his head. "Let's hurry and find him before we're next."

Prowling tensely through Robloxia Tech's decrepit halls, Noobmaster and FloatingUser suddenly heard upbeat music echoing ahead. Following the sound, they crept up to the shattered doors of the university auditorium.

Inside, they could see N64PlayerSince96 on the stage, jamming out on a DJ turntable. Spotting them, FloatingUser shouted "There you are!" and fired a shot, winging N64Player's left shoulder.

"Ow!" N64Player yelped, immediately scrambling and fleeing from the stage, his music cutting off abruptly. Noobmaster and FloatingUser raced down the aisles after him.

"Get back here!" Noobmaster yelled, leaping onto the stage and spraying bullets at the fleeing target. But N64Player somehow managed to activate a trapdoor, disappearing below the boards.

"Dang, lost him again," FloatingUser said, trying the trapdoor handle. "But he's wounded now - let's keep up the hunt!"

After fruitlessly searching the university's nooks and passages for any sign of the elusive N64PlayerSince96, Noobmaster and FloatingUser were forced to continue on empty-handed.

Emerging back out into the streets, they suddenly heard the roar of an engine. Whipping around, they saw the blue SUV from the parking garage ambush earlier now speeding straight toward them, driven by a noob 2.0 avatar named YourYellowBoi45.

"Incoming!" Noobmaster shouted. They both dove aside just as the SUV barreled past, smashing into a building before backing up for another pass.

"Not these clowns!" FloatingUser said in dismay.

But Noobmaster shook his head defiantly. "We've come too far to let these phonies stop us."

Noobmaster and FloatingUser exchanged fire with the marauding SUV, running between cover to avoid its deadly bumper. Attempting to run them down, the reckless driver suddenly lost control and crashed headlong into a blue barrier wall.

"Hah! What a horrible driver!" Noobmaster taunted as the vehicle exploded against the crackling energy.

"What a horrible driver indeed," a unexpected deep voice responded right behind them.

Whirling around in surprise, they saw a towering figure emerge from the shadows of a cratered building. He was a massively robust Robloxian wielding a huge medieval mace. His username was simply: The Crusher.

"Who are you supposed to be?" FloatingUser demanded, raising his rifle warily.

The Crusher slammed his mace down with a thud, cracking the pavement. "I am your destroyer!" he bellowed.

Exchanging glances, Noobmaster and FloatingUser nodded in unspoken agreement. Without hesitation, they unleashed a barrage of gunfire at the intimidating newcomer. But shockingly, their bullets bounced harmlessly off The Crusher's thick body armor!

"You'll have to do better than that!" The Crusher growled, lumbering towards them.

Bullets proving ineffective against the lumbering behemoth Crusher, Noobmaster and FloatingUser desperately tried to evade his devastating swinging mace. But the brute was surprisingly quick, backing them against a damaged brick wall.

"Now I crush you!" The Crusher exclaimed, raising his mace for a final blow.

Suddenly, screeching tires sounded from the alley beside them. Before Noobmaster could react, the red sedan they had lost previously came speeding out, smashing straight into him at full speed.

"Gahhh!" Noobmaster screamed as he rolled over the hood, his health bar plummeting to a mere 6%. Through the cracked windshield, he glimpsed N64PlayerSince96 at the wheel right before fading into unconsciousness.

"Noobmaster!" FloatingUser cried, rushing to his friend's broken body. This surprise attack had brought them to the brink of defeat. But FloatingUser refused to surrender. Lifting Noobmaster's body, he sprinted away from The Crusher and the sedan. "I'll get us out of this or die trying!"

Barely escaping The Crusher and the surprise sedan attack, FloatingUser took cover inside a bombed out pizza parlor. He laid Noobmaster's broken body down, feeling hopeless at the edge of defeat.

But suddenly, Noobmaster gasped and sat up. "I'm back! We have two lives total remember?"

"Noobmaster!" FloatingUser cried in elation, hugging his revived friend. "I thought I lost you!"

Noobmaster grinned weakly, but then winced in pain. "It'll take more than that cheap shot to finish me. But looks like I'm down to my last life now."

He peered cautiously out the smashed window at The Crusher stomping around outside. The sedan containing N64Player was gone.

"We've got to end this, now," Noobmaster said resolutely. "But I can barely walk at 6% health."

FloatingUser helped support him. "I've got you - we're getting out of this together. Let's go down fighting with everything we've got!"

Limping out of the pizza shop, Noobmaster suddenly paused and inspected his body. "Oh hey, my health just jumped back up to 100%! There we go!"

FloatingUser looked shocked. "Wait, really? How?"

Noobmaster shrugged. "Must be a glitch or something. The border walls are closing way slower than normal too. I'm not complaining though!" It's not a glitch, you fool!!

Reinvigorated, they spotted The Crusher stomping down a nearby alley. FloatingUser cocked his rifle. "Alright, let's ambush this big brute while we have the chance!"

Taking positions at opposite ends of the alleyway, they caught The Crusher in a vicious crossfire. Their relentless barrage slowly chipped his health down, despite his thick armor.

"Impossible!" The Crusher bellowed as his body finally gave out, pixels exploding dramatically around him.

The duo high-fived. "Cheating death seems to be our speciality!" Noobmaster quipped.

With The Crusher defeated, Noobmaster and FloatingUser continued battling towards victory. Suddenly, N64PlayerSince96's voice echoed out tauntingly:

"Noobmaster. You're pretty dumb. Once one of your lives is gone, you respawn back at full health. It's only after being killed twice that you die for good."

Noobmaster paused and scratched his head. "Ohhh, so that's how it works! Man, I really should have figured that out by now."

FloatingUser laughed and patted his back. "Hey don't feel bad - I didn't realize that either. We were so focused on fighting our way through!"

"You're right, no point worrying about it now," Noobmaster replied, reloading his AK-47. "We know the rules for the endgame. And we're ready!"

Creeping tensely through the eerily empty streets, FloatingUser235 suddenly grabbed Noobmaster96's shoulder and pointed down a debris-strewn alleyway.

"I see someone running around down there!" FloatingUser whispered harshly.

Peering into the shadows, Noobmaster could make out a figure scrambling frantically through side passages and behind dumpsters. In the dim moonlight, they couldn't discern much detail.

"Let's flush 'em out and take them down quick," Noobmaster responded.

They advanced slowly from both ends of the alley, using cars for cover. Their prey was trapped. Once close enough, they leapt out with guns blazing, ready to ambush whoever had stumbled into their clutches.

But strangely, their target had vanished. Meeting in the middle, they scanned around warily. A flickering light from a dropped flashlight was all that indicated someone had been there.

"Where'd they go?" FloatingUser wondered, picking up the light.

Noobmaster shook his head. "No idea, but they can't hide for long. Let's keep hunting!"

Creeping forward from the inexplicably vacated alleyway, Noobmaster96 and FloatingUser235 suddenly heard faint sounds of movement ahead. Readying their weapons, they swung flashlights over the deserted streets, catching a glimpse of their target slipping behind a burnt-out car.

This time, Noobmaster was close enough to make out the username floating above. "It's HerRoyalScammerness!" he whispered to FloatingUser.

Now with a clear line of sight, he could see it was a female 2.0-package wearing white Robloxian with chestnut brown hair tied in buns, wearing an elegant black ballgown - now tattered from battle. She peeked around the derelict car, then sprinted towards an abandoned storefront.

"I've got her in my sights," FloatingUser said, tracking her with his rifle scope.

"Take the shot!" Noobmaster responded.

A crack rang out, followed by a cry of pain. They rushed forward and finished HerRoyalScammerness off as she attempted to limp away. One more competitor down!

Noobmaster96 turned to his partner. "Nice shot! Let's keep up the heat."

After ruthlessly hunting down HerRoyalScammerness, Noobmaster96 spotted a glowing respawn point nearby where she had reformed after being shot.

An idea crossed his mind, and he turned to FloatingUser235 with a devious glint in his eye.

"The spawn point - it's time for more spawn killing!" Noobmaster said eagerly.

FloatingUser nodded, realizing what his partner had in mind. They took up positions with a clear view of the respawn location, weapons trained and ready.

"Three...two...one..." Noobmaster counted down. Right on cue, HerRoyalScammerness's avatar digitized back to life on the glowing pad - only to be met with another relentless hail of bullets from the waiting duo.

Her pained screams were cut short as she was obliterated instantly. A notification popped up announcing her full elimination from the match.

"And that's how you take out the trash - permanently!" Noobmaster quipped, exchanging satisfied fist bumps with FloatingUser.

After ruthlessly spawn-killing HerRoyalScammerness out of the match, FloatingUser suddenly paused as a thought occurred to him.

"Hey wait, didn't one of us grab a Remington shotgun at some point?" he asked Noobmaster. "Where did we get that again?"

Noobmaster scratched his head, trying to remember. "Oh yeah, you're right! Hmm, now that I think about it, I have no idea where we picked that up. Everything has been such a blur."

"Right? My memory is fuzzy too," FloatingUser replied. "But we've scavenged weapons and supplies from so many places at this point, it's impossible to keep track."

Noobmaster nodded sagely. "Too true. As long we stay locked and loaded, the details don't matter!"

He hefted his AK-47 proudly. Their arsenal was far beyond the scrappy starting pistol now. Together they had become an unstoppable force.

"Onward to more victories my friend!" Noobmaster proclaimed dramatically.

Pushing through the abandoned streets, Noobmaster and FloatingUser suddenly heard screeching tires followed by rapid gunfire just one block over. Rushing to investigate, they arrived to witness a shocking scene.

There was the elusive N64PlayerSince96 leaning out the window of the red sedan, mercilessly gunning down another Robloxian with dual-wielded revolvers. Now at closer range, they could make out his target's username: QuickDrawQuinn.

His avatar sported a 1.0 package, classic cowboy hat, poncho and badge - the remains now riddled with bullet holes as he collapsed and despawned. N64PlayerSince96 then sped off into the darkness.

"That N64 guy is out of control!" FloatingUser exclaimed.

Noobmaster nodded grimly, inspecting the scene. "Yeah, he's picking off the competition ruthlessly. We gotta take him out soon before he takes us by surprise again."

Sprinting after the disappearing taillights of N64PlayerSince96's sedan, Noobmaster and FloatingUser were hot on his trail. The end of the match was within grasp.

As they rounded a corner, tires squealing, the ominous battle royale announcer suddenly echoed:

"4 Robloxians remaining..."

They slid to a halt, looking at each other wide-eyed. "Did that just say four left?" FloatingUser asked. "That means it's just us two, N64, and one other player!"

Noobmaster slammed a fresh clip into his AK-47. "We're so close now I can taste it! Let's hunt down N64 and this last sucker."

Reinvigorated, they followed the sound of screeching tires in the distance, weaving between half-collapsed buildings. Soon, they caught a flash of red taillights turning down a main boulevard.

"There!" Noobmaster yelled, sprinting full speed with FloatingUser on his heels.

Chasing the elusive N64PlayerSince96's red sedan, Noobmaster and FloatingUser pursued him up floor after floor of a bombed out parking structure. Each time they crept up a level, the taillights of the sedan would flash around the next turn just out of reach.

"He's leading us on a wild goose chase!" FloatingUser panted in frustration after ascending to the third floor. Once again, the sedan had seemingly vanished into thin air.

Noobmaster scouted around quickly but saw no sign of their quarry. "You're right, this guy never stops running. But he's only delaying his demise!"

Cocking their weapons, they moved upward relentlessly. N64Player couldn't flee them forever. The match was rapidly nearing its climactic conclusion.

Reaching the roof access door, they stacked up ready to burst out guns-blazing. "Let's finish this!" Noobmaster said to his partner.

Bursting onto the parking structure rooftop ready for a final showdown, Noobmaster and FloatingUser were momentarily confused to see N64PlayerSince96 casually conversing with another Robloxian survivor.

His red sedan was parked nearby, but N64Player seemed to be flirting with the female player rather than preparing for battle. She wore a 3.0 package, elegant red ballgown and her name floated above: WiltedRose000.

"Is he...chatting her up at a time like this?" FloatingUser asked in disbelief.

Noobmaster shook his head but saw a perfect chance to ambush. "Let's exploit this distraction!"

They flanked stealthily around vehicles, getting into optimal position undetected. N64Player was too busy sweet-talking WiltedRose to notice.

"On three..." Noobmaster whispered. "One...two..."

Just as WiltedRose giggled at something N64Player said, they leapt out guns-blazing. WiltedRose fell in the first hail of bullets. N64Player managed to dive behind his sedan, tires screeching as he fled the ambush.

"Scratch two more!" Noobmaster yelled victoriously.

Yet again N64PlayerSince96 had managed to escape their ambush. But this time, Noobmaster and FloatingUser chased him relentlessly as he fled into a grocery store.

Inside, they exchanged fire up and down the aisles until N64Player ran out of ammo. Cornered, he suddenly adopted a fighting stance.

"You may have beaten me before, but not this time!" he declared. "I've picked up some new skills from Street Fighter."

To their shock, he then launched into a series of spinning kicks and karate chops straight from the vintage fighting game. Noobmaster tried to gun him down, but N64Player nimbly dodged.

"Hold still!" Noobmaster yelled in frustration as a whirlwind kick knocked his AK-47 away.

Thinking fast, FloatingUser tackled N64Player from the side mid-punch. Noobmaster recovered his rifle and they pinned their foe down.

"No more tricks!" Noobmaster said, ending N64Player with a point-blank headshot.

As Noobmaster and FloatingUser traversed back down from the rooftop, dispatching the pesky N64PlayerSince96, they remained wary of his inevitable respawn. Their dominance in this match was nearly absolute - just one final enemy stood between them and victory.

Suddenly, they were ambushed again as a vengeful N64Player burst out of a maintenance room. "I got one life left, punks!" he yelled, barreling into them and knocking all three off the ledge.

"Not again!" FloatingUser cried as they tumbled down through the open stairwell, crashing to the garage floor below.

Noobmaster groaned, pinned under a pile of debris next to a battered FloatingUser. N64Player towered over them, bruised but gloating. "Because of you, I'm the last one left!" he declared. "Now to finish you off for goo-"

His speech was cut short by both Noobmaster and FloatingUser whipping out their sidearm pistols and unloading relentlessly into N64Player at point-blank range. He collapsed and disappeared in a pixelated explosion.

Barely surviving N64Player's latest ambush, Noobmaster and FloatingUser were shocked when his voice suddenly rang out again:

"1-up, dummy! That was my third life - I found a secret extra in this match! Still got one left to go."

Their nemesis then sprinted away cackling, still impossibly alive. Noobmaster shook his head in frustration. "This guy and his sneaky bonus lives! Is he ever gonna stay dead?"

"We've just got to take him out one...final...time," FloatingUser replied resolutely, struggling to his feet. "It all ends here!"

Pursuing the endlessly evasive N64PlayerSince96 through the ravaged city, Noobmaster and FloatingUser searched relentlessly for over an hour with no luck. Just as frustration peaked, a scream suddenly rang out.

"AGGGHHHH!"

From the shadows, N64Player launched himself at the duo, expertly disarming them before they could react and snatching their guns away. Every time they tried pulling out another weapon from inventory, somehow N64Player snatched those away too.

"How is he doing this??" Noobmaster yelled in disbelief. Soon they were totally deprived of any firearms.

N64Player laughed maniacally, keeping them at bay with their own weapons. "You didn't think I'd make it easy, did you?"

Backed into a corner, Noobmaster turned to FloatingUser. "I'm out of ideas, partner. If we go down, it's been an honor playing with you."

FloatingUser gripped his shoulder. "The honor's mine. But let's go out fighting with everything we've got left!"

Weaponless but ready for one last brawl, Noobmaster and FloatingUser faced down the manic N64PlayerSince96. With deranged laughter, he charged forward wielding his stolen rifles along with powerful sweeping karate kicks.

The duo evaded artfully, landing counter blows when openings appeared. But N64Player's skills made him a formidable final boss. The battle raged intensely, both sides trading punishing strikes and blocks.

After a grueling, epic struggle, N64Player finally collapsed, his health reduced to a mere sliver at 4%. Noobmaster and FloatingUser stood above him victorious but equally drained.

To their surprise, N64Player then spoke in a normal tone: "Hey..I'm...I'm just an N64 fan trying to get out of this battle royale and get back to my family..."

Noobmaster's eyes widened, realizing they had misunderstood their rival. But before he could respond, N64Player unexpectedly whipped out one last pistol from his socks and pulled the trigger!

With inhuman reflexes, FloatingUser dove in front of Noobmaster, taking the bullet directly to the chest. "No!" Noobmaster screamed as FloatingUser fell into his arms.

Using his dying strength, FloatingUser flung his last grenade, finishing N64Player off for good finally. His body pixelated away.

Agony coursed through Noobmaster96 as he cradled FloatingUser235's limp body. The gunshot that had struck down his friend echoed hollowly in Noobmaster's mind. Rage and despair overwhelmed him.

"Why...why did you sacrifice yourself for me?" Noobmaster choked out through tears.

Miraculously, FloatingUser's eyes fluttered open once more. "You're...you're worth it, friend," he whispered. "Partners...to the end."

Noobmaster shook his head firmly. "No! Stay with me - we'll make it out together!"

Just then, the announcer's voice suddenly declared: "Oops...I mean, 2 Robloxians remaining. FloatingUser still has a life left."

Before Noobmaster's astonished eyes, FloatingUser's wound resealed itself and color returned to his avatar. FloatingUser sat up, equally amazed. "I'm...I'm okay! That second life brought me back!"

Still reeling from FloatingUser's miraculous revival, Noobmaster supported his weakened friend as they left the site of the climactic battle. Their hard-fought journey was finally at its end.

Suddenly, the announcer's voice spoke again:

"Since the two remaining Robloxians refuse to fight each other, we will declare this a victory for both!"

Noobmaster and FloatingUser looked at each in happy disbelief as a prize stash of over 100 million Robux materialized before them. Against all odds, they had won as a team!

"We did it partner!" Noobmaster cheered, embracing his friend joyfully. "Our teamwork and perseverance made us unstoppable!"

FloatingUser smiled back warmly. "I knew from the start we would conquer this together."

As fireworks exploded gloriously overhead, the reunited friends reveled in their shared triumph. The nonstop battle royale had pushed them to their absolute limits. But the bonds of brotherhood had ultimately prevailed over evil and chaos.

As Noobmaster and FloatingUser celebrated their hard-fought victory, they were suddenly teleported back to the ominous spaceship hangar where the battle royale had begun. To their horror, they found themselves surrounded once again by the 98 defeated Robloxians.

"Noooo!" the shocked duo yelled in unison. Had everything been a trick?

But then the announcer voice laughed. "Ha, just kidding. You two are free to leave."

Noobmaster and FloatingUser disappeared from the hangar, reappearing safely back in Bloxburg. Behind them, two new Robloxian captives took their place among the remaining crowd.

"Farewell, brave duo..." they heard N64PlayerSince96 call out solemnly as the ship door sealed shut. Moments later, the vessel dropped back into the arena for another round of carnage.

Safely back home in Bloxburg after conquering the nightmarish battle royale, FloatingUser turned to Noobmaster with concern still on his face.

"We may be free, but those 100 Robloxians are still trapped!" he said urgently. "We have to find a way to shut that evil game down for good and free everyone."

Noobmaster nodded gravely. "You're absolutely right. Escaping that hell was just the first step - now we need to take down whoever created it!"

They racked their brains trying to figure out who or what could be masterminding such a sadistic game involving mass abductions. What sinister force was at play?

"There must be some central terminal controlling the simulation," FloatingUser theorized. "If we can get back to the heart of that ship, we can override the system."

"Then let's gear up for one last mission," Noobmaster said resolutely. After all they had endured, taking down the battle royale hosts once and for all would be the ultimate quest.
