So a little bit of context: I'm planning on using this as the basis for two stories that I have planned in the near future. So for a start, for those ones who haven't played Splinter Cell or Ghost Recon, Paladin Nine Security is the PMC that Splinter Cell Protagonist Sam Fisher's friend Victor Coste, created following their retirement from the Navy. Originally, they appeared in both Conviction and Blacklist, but then eventually make an appearance in Breakpoint also. Canonically, they're not as big as other PMCs like Los Extranjeros or Sentinel Corps, or even Black Arrow, and the personnel aren't really given screen time, with only Fisher, Coste, and even Charlie Cole being mentioned. Mostly taking assignments like hostage and kidnap recovery as well as high tech defense solutions, I would also like to imagine what possibly would happen if they grew to a point where they were basically of a similar size to the other aforementioned PMCs, but still not to being as large like Call of Duty's Atlas Corporation or HAWX's Artemis Global Security. Another thing, playing Conviction, and just the way many Veterans are portrayed in popular media, I think it's pretty common for the enlisted and officers doing the dirty work to basically be viewed as pawns on a chessboard, or just disposable tools if it serves the interest of their superiors. For example, Cole Walker's issues with his chain of command in Breakpoint, or Victor Coste disobeying orders from Tom Reed so he could rescue Sam Fisher in Conviction. Also, I decided to just have the characters from Blacklist's Spies vs Mercs as the guys that makes up Paladin's combat personnel, with the wolves from Breakpoint being the Company's adopted special forces unit. So you guys shouldn't have a problem with how these guys should look. So ya, just give me some constructive feedback on any errors made and future ideas if you have any and I'll consider their implementation. Also, disclaimer, nothing but the OCs are mine, all these franchise elements I'm implementing, as a reference or so, belong to their respective owners.

Chapter 1: Main Faction Lore & Key Figures.

Paladin Nine Security: Originally starting out as a minor security company operating in Washington DC, and founded by former Navy Seal Victor Coste, the company eventually expanded due to the influx of funding as a result of Mr. Coste's connections within the American Special Ops Community as well as the support of wealthy donors, much of the support received due to the company's involvement in preventing the success of the Third Echelon Conspiracy. Following the failed coup attempt, The PMC outfit experienced a major rise in recruitment of combat personnel, each individually screened for any criminal history or poor character records. Such heavy screening necessary in order for the company to maintain its reputation for accepting contracts of honorable as well as legal organizations, that don't compromise conduct and morals. Former elements from the now defunct Third Echelon that refused to participate in the coup attempt as well as actively worked against their former colleagues were able to receive a Presidential Pardon, had their resources either redirected to the newly formed Fourth Echelon, or have been absorbed into Paladin Nine Security. These include former 3E personnel and former Splinter Cell Agents that chose to stay loyal to the Federal Government, or were able to evade elimination from then Director Reed's purge. New personnel include former military from either non-combatant roles as well as special operations veterans from units such as the Navy Seals, Army Rangers, Delta Force, Devgru, etc. Director Coste has also built a professional and extremely fruitful working relationship with Skell Tech Founder Mr. Jace Skell. After working with the Billionaire to oust Sentinel Corps and the Wolves from Aurora, the Security Company fills in the void left by the defunct PMC and absorbed any remaining personnel from the former as well as defecting Wolves who turned on the late Trey Stone. In exchange for their service, many of these former hostile elements would receive a Pardon and have their records cleared if they proved their value to the PMC. Originally only having a main HQ in DC, they eventually moved to Jacksonville, Florida and then established a secondary presence in Aurora as well as overseas bases, contracting their services to the US Military by providing additional security in Bases like Rammstein and Aviano. Their Motto adopted from Third Echelon, "Let Vigilance be our Sword."

Therons: An elite sub-unit within Paladin Nine's Field Operations units makeup, they take direct inspiration from similar units such as the US Army's Ghosts or Russian Army Bodark, they are made up of the best of the best, with most being made up of personnel with backgrounds in special operations, some of which come from these same units, while others come from NATO countries or other US Allies. They specialize in unconventional warfare, deep infiltration missions, intelligence gathering, direct action, and hostage rescue. Made up of mostly former Wolves, These men and women now strive to make a difference in the world without being held back by the red tape that garnered their controversial actions that predated their new venture. Ruthless and efficient when striking from the shadows, but tempered by calm and collected minds even in the face of stressful and dire adversity. One of the most capable units in this group is Tombstone, comprised of Douglas "Aegir" Jones of the British SBS, Isabelle "Tira" Rodriguez from the Mexican Fuerzas Especiales, Brenda "Gunnhilde" Muller of the German Division Schnelle Kräfte, Avir "Lion" Sahin of the Peshmerga Special Forces, and Michael "Tempest" Hu from the US Army Rangers.

Skell Technology: What once started out as a small tech company in San Francisco, Ca, eventually grows as one of the World's leaders in advancing technological development for both the Civilian Sector and Militaries worldwide. Mr. Jace Skell has been at the forefront in contributing to the progress of all humankind. From hiring brilliant minds such as Cassie Cromwell and Grace Maddox for AI research, Paula Madera for Robotics development, as well as more gifted and talented individuals, Skell Tech rapidly grows to hold a monopoly for robotics and military products. Originally on their main headquarters on the Archipelago of Aurora, Mr. Skell hired Colonel Cole D. Walker, former Ghost Operative, as well as Sentinel Corp. CEO Trey Stone to maintain Security for the Tech Firm, but both end up ousting the Tech founder from power and seize the company assets to mass produce and weaponize drones in order to distribute them worldwide to despotic regimes as well as deadly terrorist elements active in hotspots like the Middle East, the Horn of Africa, as well as Southeast Asia. If it weren't for the intervention of combined elements from US Special Operations teams well as Paladin Nine Security Personnel, Sentinel Corps would have most likely succeeded in their ambitions. Following the failure of the Aurora takeover, Jace Skell terminates the contract with Sentinel Corps and negotiates a new one with Mr. Coste for his company to fill in the void left by the former. Director Coste accepted the contract as it included material support in the form of combat drones and advanced technology in terms of medical and other equipment that would significantly boost the performance and capabilities of Paladin Security Personnel. Relations between Paladin Security Personnel and Aurora Residence has proven to be much more positive compared to the latter's prior experience with Sentinel Corps.

Fireteam Tombstone:

Douglas "Aegir" Jones: The son of a Scottish Father and Nigerian Mother, Douglas grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland. Inspired by his Father's prior service in the Navy, he proceeded to follow in his footsteps and had aspirations to join the esteemed Special Boat Service. His reasons for joining the Navy stem from his time spending fishing with his Father and friends during his childhood, as well as listening to the stories of his Father's experience. A seasoned combat veteran, he participated in operations in former territories of the British Empire from West Africa to India. He specializes in the use of heavy weapons, more specifically, Light Machine Guns, usually having a preference for the M249 SAW Para, as well as shotguns like the mossberg 590 for CQB. His mother, a Doctor and Lagos native, also taught him invaluable medical knowledge which enabled him to learn to work under pressure, hardening his mental strength to the point of being nigh-completely serene in chaotic situations, such as firefights or tending to wounded comrades. His experience in combat prior to joining the Therons proved invaluable in the development of his leadership of Fireteam Tombstone.

Isabelle "Tira" Rodriguez: Growing up in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Isabelle had a rough childhood. She lost her Mother to the crossfire of the gang violence that plagued the city streets, leaving her to only grow up with her Father. Not wanting her to be influenced by the bad elements of the city, her father moved them to Tampico where he joined the Police force. With the years passing by, He would use his training and field experience to teach his daughter how to defend herself as well as work into her a drive to protect those who couldn't help themselves. A religious woman, she always wears a cross necklace that belonged to her late mother as a way to honor her memory. Once she became of age, she enlisted in the Mexican Navy and eventually joined the Fuerzas Especiales, building a reputation as gifted Sharpshooter and earned her nickname. One of her most notable feats was to defuse a hostage situation in the aftermath of a raid on a Cartel Safehouse. The Cartel Jefe held a hostage at gunpoint, and she disobeyed orders from her superiors to hold her fire. She scored a perfect shot on the Jefe's forehead and saved the Hostage's life, but her insubordination eventually led to her discharge from the navy. While this proved to be a dampener on her mood initially, she did reflect on her history of poor behavior, usually only following the orders of individuals who earned her respect, instead of being courteous according to military regulations. Despite this, her service records caught the attention of Victor Coste, who contacted her with a Job Offer for Paladin Nine. As a member of the Therons, she keeps her involvement from her Father as well as other family or friends she keeps in contact with. She has a history as a rebel, but also light-hearted, being the goof of her team and treats them as if they were part of her family, with maintaining a sibling like relationship with team member Tempest in particular, she understands seniority and returns respect to those she believes earned it.

Brenda "Raph" Muller: Coming from a mixed family of both German and Israeli descent, as well as being a Frankfurt native, Brenda was constantly travelling to many places. Her family has a history of serving both in the IDF and the Bundeswehr, with her mother as a combat medic and her father a combat engineer, respectively. She took up the family tradition, joined the Bundeswehr KSK, she participated in operations in Central Africa, the Middle East, as well as participated in exchange programs with nations like India and the US. From a young age, she had a fascination with drone technology and medical research, and combined with her studies and experience in the field, she is able to use her drone technology for medical application that proved invaluable in extreme situations. It was practically a Heaven-sent for her when she was contacted by Victor Coste to join the Therons and eventually get her hands on some of the most advanced drone technology of Skell Tech. She is seen as the older sister type for some of the younger members of Theron Team, usually having to deal with the antics of Rodriguez and negative reactions of Michael. Despite this, she is quite knowledgeable of her role in keeping the squad together and helping the team achieve their mission objectives with 110% effort.

Avir "Lion" Sahin: A native of Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, both of his parents fought in the local militias to fight off would be invaders. Joining the Peshmerga at a young age, he eventually works with US and Coalition forces to stabilize his chaotic homeland and effectively eliminate fundamentalist extremist organizations trying to carve out their own territory. Coalition Special Forces would participate in the training of Peshmerga Anti Terrorism Units and Sahin becomes one of the top canidates in his class. Upon graduation, he works with his allied partners in the elimination of local threats targeting innocent civilians. Following his completion of his term of service with the Peshmerga, He realized he couldn't give up the military life and struggled with holding a civilian profession. He got into contact with one of his old colleagues in the form of Sam Fisher acting as an advisor for the Kurdish Intelligence Agency. From there he meets with Victor Coste and eventually lands a spot in the Therons, with Fire Team Tombstone, serving as the squad's demolition expert , having a deep appreciation in the use of all types of ordnance, from anti armor and anti air to all types of grenades. Any problem the man comes across would unsurpisingly be followed up by an explosive solution.

Michael "Tempest" Hu: One of the younger members alongside Rodriguez, Born in San Antonio, Texas to Chinese and Japanese Parents, Michael Hu grew up as an only child, but had very close relationships growing up with his parents and his childhood friends. His Father served as a Paratrooper and Vehicle Mechanic in the JSDF and his mother served as a medic in the PLA. Both met during a joint military exercise in Inner Mongolia and maintained contact for the following years, growing close to each other as the years went by. After both of their military contracts were completed, they worked to obtain US Citizenship and eventually settled down in San Antonio, Texas, just before he was born. His parents taught him important skills in martial arts for self defense, as well as vehicular and mechanical knowledge which would influence him to enlist in the US Army once he became of age. First joining the 82nd Airborne as a vehicle mechanic like his father, then the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, and eventually joining the prestigious Regimental Reconnaissance Company. He deployed in hotspots in the middle east as well as South America, the latter of which would see him join the Ghosts, effectively fighting against the Drug Cartels that were a detriment to the stability of the area. Unfortunately, these actions triggered a violent response from their opposition, which eventually led to a bombing on US Soil that claimed the lives of his parents and dozens of other innocent bystanders. This shook Michael to his core and eventually shifted his character from a jovial and positive kid to a stoic and quiet individual. Coincidentally, there was a schism that occurred within the chain of command of JSOC, with elements siding with either the federal government or holding sympathies with the philosophy of Colonel Cole D. Walker, calling out the rampant corruption and political interferences of politicians that caused much hindrance and prevented operators in the field from being emboldened to complete their missions. Soon, he found himself siding with those who chose to follow Walker when he made his way to Skell Tech along with Sentinel Corps to be based at Aurora. But overtime, Tempest and other Wolves began to question the motives and end goals of Trey Stone and his backers, as they seem to have ulterior motives for taking advantage of Skell's weapons technology. Even Colonel Walker begins to have his doubts, with his own lieutenants sharing sympathetic views despite the atrocities they along with Sentinel have committed against the Auroran Civilian Population. There was eventually a Schism that formed between Walker and Stone that opportunists exploited which eventually splitted the Wolves from Sentinel. Walker sided with Nomad and eventually both worked to bring down Stone and eliminate Peter Miles. When the wolves were recasted as Therons after joining up with Paladin Nine, Sam Fisher took particular interest in Michael and decided to train him as he would train Fourth Echelon's Splinter Cells. With his time as a Tier One Ranger and Paratrooper, and the skills learned from the first Splinter Cell, Michael stands out as Fireteam Tombstone's Shadow.

Project Claw: Prior to being replaced by Paladin Nine, Sentinel Corps coerced Skell Tech Scientists and Engineers to develop advanced Drones that could be controlled by the mind of a single individual, with the project being headed by Trey Stone's Associate, Mr. Farrow, who went by the Alias of "The Strategist." Resources for the research project involved the kidnapping of multiple military specialists from around the world to be used as guinea pigs for the drones to function nominally. Although much of the abducted specialists involved perished from the inhumane methods of The Strategist, it yielded significant research data that Skell would eventually use for future projects, with the end goal being the eventual elimination of the need for manpower and less mental strain of a primary swarm operator.

Project Deus: Heavily Scrutinized for the involvement of transhumanist Grace Maddox. The project seeks to find a way to upload a human brain into a computer, thus enabling humanity to achieve virtual immortality. The Outcast Faction of Aurora frowned upon this project as they believe that it would actually lead to people becoming something other than human. They also were against the fact that this process could only be afforded for only the most affluent of people, while those of less fortune would be left behind. Further research is to be conducted.

Panthers: Infantry Archtypes who specialize in hit and run tactics. They pride themselves in their ability to strike enemy weak spots and exploit potential openings that could turn the tide of engagements in their favor. They would eschew heavy armor and favor lightweight to medium protection for increased mobility. Usually made up of veterans with backgrounds in primarily airborne units. These types of soldiers make up a good portion of Paladin's Security Apparatus.

Whispers: Silent Archtypes trained by Veterans of the Splinter Cell Program, They are comparable to the mythos surrounding the Ninjas of Feudal Japan, or the Jinyiwei of the Ming Dynasty. Embracing the Shadows as an extension of their existence, They gather intelligence in impossible areas and escape without anyone noticing. Always preferring to avoid direct firefights, they always have an ace up their sleeve to play whenever it seems they get cornered. Trained in skills like Parkour for increased mobility, they also are usually lightly protected and armed when carrying out field work.

Authors Note: So yeah guys, this is just a start of what I have planned. This database is meant to bridge two stories I'm working on, with Ghost Recon being connected with the likes of Code Geass and Girls Frontline. So I guess some questions that would arise would be why have Paladin replace Sentinel, or why inlcude Skell tech in the first place? Remember, Skell are the guys that are responsible for much of the advanced tech in the current canon Tom Clancyverse, so they got that going for them. Also I just wanted a Protagonist PMC for once, and Paladin kind of seemed like a No-Brainer for me. The Ocs are definitely a work in progress, but I'm just glad I started somewhere. Well, I finally got around putting this concept together and I'm looking forward to ideas for expanding it. I'll try to get to another chapter for what would be in Paladin's Inventory, like weapons and vehicles. If anyone have any suggestions to make this small project better, dm me. For example, trying to find a different mecha series to be stand ins for the code geass story. Every time I read a code geass crossover, it's usually titanfall that are the stand ins for the protagonists.
