"You have to let me in there! The Head Teacher is still in there! I need to get her out!"

"No, sir, you can't!"

"What? What do you mean I can't? She's in danger and she has severe asthma, I'll be two minutes! Please?" Eddie pleaded desperately, staring at the burning building in front of him

"I'm sorry sir, you're not going in there. We will get her out"

"Well, hurry up then!!" He snapped

Eddie groaned in frustration, walking away from the fireman. He should never have let Rachel stay in there alone to do a final check. He knew it was dangerous and risky, but he'd done it anyway. And now, the chances were she was trapped, injured, or both. He had to help her. But there was no way in, and even if there was, he didn't know whereabouts in the school Rachel was. He felt helpless.

He watched as the flames spread rapidly through the building. His eyes remained fixed on the front doors, hoping, praying, that Rachel would walk out of them unharmed. He'd never forgive himself if she didn't. It was his fault if she didn't.

He should have stayed with her. He knew about her asthma, he knew how severe it was. and yet he'd let her stay in a burning building anyway.
