World: One Piece 456D
Location: The Grand Line
Time: 11:59 P.M.
A wise person once said, "The Grand Line... I've seen pirates who've managed to make it back from that voyage... They're broken men, almost zombies! You can tell just by looking at 'em... Whether pirates or monsters... They've seen terrible things. None will speak of it... But the sight of em's proof enough... The Grand Line is a place of horror!"
Winds howled waves crashed with one another. A Marine ship struggled to maintain itself during the violent weather.
"Captain!" Cried one of the Marines, clutching his hat while struggling to hold his balance. "We can't hold on for much longer!"
The Marine captain growled and punched the Marine, sending them flying to the other side. "Shut up!" He pointedly ignored his subordinate's pained groan. "We'll make it to the East Blue even if it kills you!"
The Grand Line is well known for its wackiest weather. A storm like this was very common around here. This makes sailing extremely difficult as the islands possess a vast number of unpredictable phenomena that are not seen anywhere else in the world.
There were shouts as a few unfortunate Marines were blown by the wind. Nearly all of them managed to hold onto something before the wind blew them out of the ship. One Marine was not so lucky, as he was thrown into the sea with a wood plank. He cried for help.
"We have a fallen man!" Cried one of the marines. "We got to rescue him!"
"Leave him!" Demanded the Captain. "One sacrifice will mean nothing if all of us survive! He signed up to die anyway!"
However, just as it seemed the world took offense to his words, thunder roared, and lightning built up. Suddenly, the clouds above slowly turned green as energy crackled. The yellow lightning turned into a powerful green. The thunder and lightning were getting more frequent and desperate. The sea below them was getting wild as the waves became more rouge than anything.
The Marines struggled to hold on tight. In the Captain's courters, there was a small chest on the desk with a notebook next to it.
The Chest and an enormous notebook shook as the waves made the ship uneven. Eventually, both of them fell to the floor. The giant notebook had dropped with a tremendous THUMP!
The Chest fell with a loud CRASH! The top opened, and blue apple-like fruit with swirls and palm tree-like leaves fell and rolled to a corner.
Outside the deck, the Captain began to sweat as he looked up at the green clouds. Some of the Marines were panicking while others were frozen, looking as the whole thing began to circle it.
"We need to get out of here!" demanded the Captain, "Full Speed!"
But it was too late.
The fallen Marine could only watch in horror as the energy that was building up in the sky shot down to the ship. He heard the screams of his comrades as the energy shot down like a giant lightning bolt. The amount of energy caused the massive waves, and the Marine has swept away as a result.
He cried out in fear and surprise, holding onto the piece of wood. The screams of the marines fell silent, and the energy dissipated. A piece of wood gently swayed to the ocean as the clouds disappeared and the sun suddenly appeared.
There was a giant SPLASH as the Marine shot out of the water. He grasped the wood plank to keep himself from drowning. The Marine was gasping for air, sputtering as he tried to get oxygen into his lungs. He coughed as he looked around. He had lost his hat, but that didn't matter.
Because what he saw was that the entire ship was gone. And there was no evidence of wreckage either.
Unknowest to the Marine, the energy above the clouds remained open. Most of the energy release dwindled, but some green lighting was still coming out of it. And every fifty years, this storm would appear. The storm was given a new official name; the green death. Any day when the Storm is seen where neither Pirate nor Marine shall sail lest they meet its thundering agonizing end.

The space inside the rift pulsed with a powerful green energy. The Marine ship slowly degenerated into nothing. The Marines had been hallowed by the energy of space and time before their bodies turned to dust.
Though, the Fruit likewise managed to degenerate like most of the ship. But, while the fruit was gone, a significant bout of energy came out of whatever was left of the fruit. The small blue energy wandered around harmlessly before shooting out like a comet.
It unintentionally dragged something with it before both separated. When the fruit's energy crossed the rift, an enormous bout of white light exploded.

The winds howl with an angry howl as the trees sway, pulling and stretching their roots. The rain poured heavily as a crash of thunder occurred. It had been unexpected as just a few moments ago; the night sky was clear.
Anyone outside of the streets at this hour immediately rushed in for shelter nearby. Anyone woken up by the loud bangs of the Lightning tried to barricade themselves before hiding.
At the center of the storm, thunder and lightning were building up while the dark clouds created a giant cyclone. Thunder and lightning became more frequent and louder as the energy forming around it grew stronger.
The green energy leaking out of the sky exploded with a flash of green and blue light. Then, the blue bit of energy shot out of the rift, and anyone looking would've assumed it was a comet. The explosion caused the cyclone to dissipate.
While the civilians tried to figure out what had just happened, the comet-like energy went far away. Outside of civilization, there was an apple tree. There was a ripe, juicy apple among one of the branches, ready to be picked up.
Then, the energy wandered around the area before shooting down to the apple. The apple was flung from the tree, and the energy combined with the apple. The apple began mutating as it gained a familiar blue color and swirl texture as the stem gained the palm tree-like leaves. The apple fell from the tree, but it didn't get mushed. Instead, it rolled into a bush before stopping.
It remained untouched for years to come.
Back in Musustafu, the drama that occurred with the Cyclone was eventually forgotten. No one died, and there had been no damage done. But above the clouds, almost too small, the be noticed a tiny green rift stayed in the sky until it slowly closed. It took five years before closing entirely.
But, after the rift closed fifteen years later….
A newborn baby began to radiate light in a hospital.

There had been chaos going on. People started to develop meta abilities similar to those in comic books. Riots occurred, and human activists were everywhere. The Government struggled to keep society from crumbling, but their control fell out of their hands like sand,
The cause of this disaster remained in its spot for years, unbothered by any insects or animals. There was suddenly some shuffling in the bushes and muffled voices.
A hand grasps the blue fruit. The man holding the fruit looked curious; he took a bite. His cheeks bulged as his face changed to that of disgust. He somehow managed to swallow the piece and gagged. The man yelled out in disgust and spat saliva out as if trying to get rid of the taste.
He looked at the innocent apple with a look of disdain before throwing it behind it. He heard shouting and turned around when he saw one of his comrades yelling at him.
"Yeah yeah! I'm coming," He scowled, "No need to get your dick in a twist."
It was only a few hours when he learned he had gained a new meta ability.
[Time Skip: Three Hundred Years]
Day: Sunday, June 19th
Time: 13:56 (12:56) P.M.
In the closed-off forest of Musufatsu, a Five-year boy with curly green hair and freckles ran as fast as he could through them as sweat began dripping from his face, his breathing ragged.
"Come back here, Deku!"
Izuku abruptly stopped when he saw that there were trees everywhere. He honestly was scared of going into the forest alone. He could hear small explosions from a distance and threats and jeers from the other children.
He climbed up to the tree with little option and hoped the leaves would hide him. He struggled, and his foot slipped on the trunk. He nearly fell, but he managed to get a hold of a branch. He just barely managed to hide on the leaves when three boys his age came into view.
The most noticeable of the boys was that one of them had ash-blond hair and red eyes with an expression that was out for blood.
This was Katsuki Bakugou.
"Come on out, you damn nerd!" His hands were cackling with small explosions.
The other two weren't necessarily worth mentioning.
Izuku was scared and tried to hold his breath and tried not to move. However, he accidentally sneezed, causing a few leaves to shuffle. The noise caught the boys' attention, and they looked up at the trees. The shadows and leaves manage to hide Izuku, but they could see a small shoe sticking out.
"There you are, Deku!" He growled
"Look at the nerd! He's stuck up there!" Jeered one of the boys as they laughed at the child's misfortune.
Katsuki, however, was not impressed. He stormed to the tree's bark, intending to climb when dark clouds suddenly covered the sky. Thunder roared while lightning frequently flashed inside the clouds.
"What the fuck?" Muttered Katsuki, bewildered at the sudden change of weather.
It suddenly began raining, and the two lackeys shrieked and ran away to take cover. Katsuki had an angry scowl when the water droplets fell to his skin. The water droplets removed his sweat, rendering his quirk useless.
Letting out a string of curses, Katsuki left to find cover, forgetting about his victim. Izuku watched as Katsuki left and let out a sigh of relief.
BANG!
Izuku yelped and jumped a bit when he heard the loud bang. He held tightly to the tree. It covered him from the rain, but he only hoped no lightning strike. He was afraid to get down, but he was alone until uncle Masaru, auntie Mitsuki, or his mom came and rescued him.
He was also getting a little hungry. They hadn't eaten any lunch yet, as their families were planning to have a picnic. He only hopes they haven't eaten everything by the storm clears.
"What the fuck do you mean we can't eat?!" Screeched Katsuki.
His mother, a woman who disturbingly has a striking resemblance to her son, turned from the driver's seat in the car and pulled on his ear hard.
"YOW! Let me go, you old hag!"
"Shut up, brat! Where the hell are your manners?!"
"C-come on, you two, now is not the time."
Masaru's soft voice, in contrast to his son and wife's sharp voices, tried diffuse the shouting fight his wife and son were going at each other. Inko barely paid attention to the family dynamic and instead looked at the park with worry. They took shelter in Mitsuki's car with the picnic basket and everything they had brought.
Katsuki's lackeys had already gone home with their families, but they remained in the park because they refused to leave Izuku behind. Inko almost went into a frenzy to look for her son, but when the lightning and thunder became frequent, the Bakugou adults incested that it was safer to be under shelter.
Katsuki, though was hungry and wanted to eat now. But the grown-ups decided to wait on Izuku, and the blond was not happy.
So while a string of pleading, curses, yelling, and small explosions occurred, Inko gripped her shirt, silently praying her son was alright.
Izuku was shivering as the winds howled. He had a tight grip on the large branch as the lightning and thunder became frequent and louder. His stomach growled again, and he looked around. He was on an apple tree, but the apples weren't exactly ripe.
But he was hungry. He might as well eat something to settle his stomach until lunch. Carefully, to not fall, he grabbed an apple and took a bite. He made a face as it was sour and bitter. He ate a few more until he found something.
It was a ripe apple.
Well, it wasn't entirely ripe, but it was better than any of the rest. He couldn't reach it, though, so he had to climb a little higher to reach it. He struggled not to look down while his little body shook in fright.
"J-just a little further…!" Izuku grunted as he struggled to reach the apple with shaky hands.
He grasped the apple and plucked it a pit of the leaves, the branch shacking, nearly knocking Izuku out of the tree.
Izuku sighed in relief and slowly made way to a more studier branch to sit down on. Just as he was about to take a bite out of it, the clouds began to clear. The winds, rain, thunder, and lightning abruptly stopped. Izuku blinked in confusion and looked around the sky.
It was strange, but Izuku was nevertheless grateful.
He looked around and debated on what to do. Then his eyes caught something coming in his direction! It looked like some kind of green energy shooting down at the speed of a comment. Izuku almost fell off when the energy collided with the fruit. The apple shined a green color before it started to mutate.
Before Izuku's eyes, the reddish-green apple turned into a pure green with swirls, palm tree-like leaves, and a purple Zig-Zag stem. At the center of the fruit was a pink swirl. Izuku was intrigued and wondered if someone who did this had a quirk.
His stomach growled, and he was reminded of his current situation. He looked down and then apple. He wanted to cry, but his hunger got the best of him. So he looked at the mutated apple and drooled as he wondered how sweet the fruit would be.
Without another thought, he took a decent bite. However, when his teeth penetrated the apple, and the juices fell on his mouth, his face bulged up in disgust. He gagged but managed to swallow the piece. He stuck his tongue out as he tried to get the fruit as far away from him.
"Yuck! That tasted like Dad's and Aunty Mitsuki's cooking combined!" He blew a raspberry as he tried to get rid of the taste.
He threw the apple away and spat a few more times in a fruitless effort to get rid of the taste. Eventually, he returned to his senses as he was reminded that he was still stuck on a tree. He hiccuped as tears began to build up.
"IZUKU!"
He looked down, and a sense of relief washed through his tiny body.
As soon as the unexpected weather began to dissipate, Inko wasted no time looking for her son. The Bakugous' were right behind her, but Katsuki was enraged since his mother dragged him. After a few moments of searching, the green-haired woman heard her son yelling in disgust, and she immediately ran in his direction.
So imagine how terrified Inko felt when she finally found her son stuck up a tree. The Bakugous manage to catch up, Masaru catching his breath and Katsuki's scowl becoming darker when he saw the boy. However, the blond-haired boy felt a sense of satisfaction and amusement that the nerd was still stuck in the tree.
He was immediately punched in the head by Mitsuki. The blond woman knew what her son was thinking and gave him punishment. One thing led to another, and now both were shouting at each other, with a few small explosions and ear pulling.
"Mom!" Cried Izuku, a small bout of tears flowing down his cheeks, similar to that of a river. "Help!"
Once Masaru caught his breath, he had the decent idea to call for a hero while Inko panicked and cried, and Mitsuki and their son continued their shouting match. Thankfully the storm managed to scare off everyone, so Masaru did not need to burden himself as much with stopping their fight.
Eventually, a kind rescue hero saved the green-haired boy and told him not to do it again. Izuku, however, was excited at the sight of the hero. He asked for a photograph from one of his notebooks which he pulled from… somewhere.
Despite the unexpected storm and being stuck on top of a tree, it was an overall good day,
The long day of running and climbing up a tree had made the boy more tired than he had realized, so when the two got home, he had decided against a bath, got dressed in his pajamas, and went straight to sleep none the wiser.
[The Next Day]
Date: Monday, June 20th
Location: Aldera Elementary School
Time: 13:34 (01:34) P.M.
The children ran around and had fun. A few of the cockier kids were showing off their flashy and strong quirks to the weaker ones. Teachers merely glanced in the children's direction but didn't bother to stop them.
There was a loud explosion not too far away from there and a yelp of pain. There was a young boy with blond hair and faun-like horns sticking out of his head. He was covered in bruises and burns. Katsuki's hands were smoking while his lackeys were laughing cruelly at the boy's misfortune.
"Do you really think that you could become a hero with a quirk like that?!" Katsuki sneered while the boy began to tremble when the other blond boy started to create a ranking of small explosions. "With a weak ass quirk like that, you might as well not bother applying for a hero school."
Katsuki started laughing with a scary look on his face.
"K-Kachan! Stop!"
Katsuki's expression changed to that of annoyance and irritation as he turned to the source of the voice. Izuku ran to the faun boy and stood in front of him. The boy was surprised the quirkless boy was protecting him but nevertheless a little grateful for the distraction. While Katsuki was distracted, he took the chance to run away.
"This has nothing to do with you, Deku!" Katsuki snarled, with a few bystanders looking in their direction. Izuku trembled when Katsuki started to crackle with a few small explosions as a warning.
"I-I won't let you hurt more people!"
Katsuki's angry expression turned murderous. "Deku…"
Izuku was terrified. He had seen Katsuki irritated, but there was hell to pay when he got this angry. He had desperately prayed for rain or something to save his ass. At most, he wished he had a water gun. His fingers twitched in anticipation.
"DIE!"
However, before Katsuki could unleash his explosion, Izuku was about to cover himself with his hands as he thought to himself, "I wish I could stop Kacchan, but I don't have anything, no water quirk, not even a water gun" when something unexpected occurred. At that final moment, Izuku's hands turned into water guns. Before anyone's brain could process this, Izuku sprayed water at Katsuki's angry form.
The water burst with a powerful kick that the shocked Katsuki could not dodge in time. An explosion of water splashed everyone, and Katsuki was shot into the school's walls. With a loud SPLAT, Katsuki's form was above the ground by the force of the water.
When the water came to an end, Izuku's hands returned to normal. Katsuki fell flat on the ground, still too shocked to move,
Everyone in the field was shocked and silent. Katsuki's lackeys had their jaws dropped to the floor as they looked at Katsuki's form. Some of the kids finally snapped out of it and looked at the gobsmacked Izuku with a newfound fear.
Katsuki's brain eventually processed, and he slowly got up. His shocked expression fell to his usual anger, and he yelled, "DEKU!" He got up and ran. His quirk was useless as the water fucking Deku shot at him cleaned him off his sweat. "SINCE WHEN DID YOU HAVE A QUIRK?! HAVE YOU BEEN LYING TO ME?!"
Izuku jumped hearing Katsuki's yells, and he looked at his hands with wide eyes.
"I-I have a quirk?" Izuku's brain was spinning. "But that's impossible. The doctors said I was quirkless." But Izuku could only stare at his hand with confusion in astonishment "b-but my hands turned into water guns."
Izuku inspected his right hand and turned it into a water gun nozzle again. "I-I do have a quirk?!" Izuku shouted in confused excitement before water shot from his water gun hand again. The boy was too astonished to realize he had hit Katsuki again with a spray of water. A weaker one, at least.
He was snapped out of his musings when Katsuki grabbed his shirt and yanked him to his level. The amount of murder that Katsuki was radiating was downright terrifying.
"What" He hissed, "the fuck Deku?"
It was at this moment that the teachers finally stepped in. They were just as shocked as everyone, but they suddenly remembered their jobs and stopped another potential fight. They sent the boys to the principal's office.
Location: Midoriya Residence
Time: 13:46 (01:46) P.M.
Inko was cleaning the kitchen when her cell phone rang. She wasn't expecting anyone to call her around this time. Her husband should be busy with his work, and Mitsuki was helping her husband today. So the only explanation would be the school.
Fear of what occurred to her baby, she picked up her cell phone and answered her phone.
"Midoriya residence."
"Ah! Mrs. Midoriya, I'm glad to get a hold of you." Came the unexpected cheery voice of the principal.
Inko narrowed her eyes in confusion, "Yes. Is there something wrong?"
"Oh yes… It just so happens that this involves your son…."
Inko was certain she felt her heart stop. Had something terrible happened to her son? "Y-yes?"
"Why I wanted to congratulate you! It seems your son manifested his quirk today!"
Inko's worries stopped, and she blinked. "What?"
"Yes, it was unexpected to us too!" He said cheerily. "During recess, when he was playing with Bakugou and his friends, he accidentally got everyone wet. His hands turned to water guns and surely gave us a spook!"
Inko was stuttering. "I-I don't understand…! The doctor sai-!"
"Yes, yes." The principal said calmly. "It was a shock to us too. I had our Quirk counselor look at your son's quirk, but we believe it's best to have him rechecked. It seemed the previous doctor must've been imprecise, so we urge you have a proper professional look into this."
Inko was silent for a moment before nodding. "Alright, thank you. I'm coming to pick up my son then."
"Very well! We'll have your son ready for your arrival." The principal hanged up afterward, leaving Inko to her musings before getting ready.
Time: 20:30 (8:30)
When Izuku was picked up by his mom, Inko immediately called an appointment for tomorrow. Today had been a bundle of emotions. That was a couple of hours ago; right now, his mom was preparing his bath. While that occurred, Izuku was still musing over his hand. The hand was currently a water gun, and he closely inspected it.
He found out he had a quirk, but how?
"...Sorry, kid, it's not gonna happen."
"Might as well give up your dream."
Izuku could never forget the haunting words that came out of the doctor's voice. But over a year afterward, the quirk just manifests. And strangely enough, it had no relation to either his mom or dad's quirks. He had already written what he knew of the quirk with his third analysis notebook.
Izuku had wondered what triggered his quirk when he remembered the disgusting fruit he ate yesterday. 'Did the fruit have something to do with it?'
It could be the explanation of how he suddenly manifested a quirk. He briefly remembered the bout of energy that mutated the apple. He wonders if, by eating the bite, the fruit gave him a quirk. He briefly wondered if some quirk had something to do with it.
And if so… Is he even worthy of this power?
"Izuku," His mom's voice caught his attention as Izuku snapped out of his thoughts to look at his mother.
Inko smiled gently at her son. "Your bath is ready."
In a few moments, Izuku had removed his clothes, and Inko went to put them in the laundry basket. While Inko was gone, Izuku didn't hesitate to enter the tub full of warm water. However, as soon as he sat down, it felt as though all of his strength had disappeared. He sank all the way down, and oxygen was quickly running out.
He tried to move, even yell, but it almost seemed as though the water was clamping on him, stopping him. For a moment, Izuku was afraid he was going to drown, but thankfully, at that moment, Inko came in. She noticed that Izuku wasn't coming out and rushed in.
Inko immediately dragged out her son, and little Izuku was coughing, trying to get the water out of his lungs.
"Izuku, what happened?!"
Izuku gasped and sucked in air as though it was the most precious thing and looked at his mom with scared eyes.
"I-I don't know." He whispered so low that Inko almost didn't hear him. "I-I just entered the tub, and suddenly, I felt like I was drained; all my energy was gone." tears began to form in his eyes, obscured by the water covering his body. Tears went down his face. "I thought I was going to drown."
Izuku burst into tears, and Inko almost followed him. She looked at the warm water she had prepared for her son and then pursed her lips. She went in to drain the water.
"It's alright, Izuku. I'll help you shower.
Thankfully there was no drama with the shower, but both of the Midoriya had become weary of water. Though thankfully, when Izuku got thirsty, there was no reaction when he drank water. This is just another thing to tell the doctors about. Hopefully, they'll have some answers tomorrow.
[Next Day]
Day: Tuesday, June 21st
Location: Hospital
Time: 10:32 A.M.
Izuku was sitting in the waiting room with his mother. He had been kicking his feet to ease his boredom. There were a few magazines, but none of them were interesting. They didn't even have anything about heroes, which was disappointing.
His mom was nervous, and frankly, he was too. The last time they went to a hospital, the doctor told him he was quirkless, and his life changed.
But according to his teachers and mom, Dr. Tsubasa had made some mistakes. So now they were going to a hospital that was a few hours away from his house. It was also a little expensive, but Inko assured him it was fine.
There were a few children around his age also waiting. And there were a few grown-ups with apparent injuries indicated by their casts or bruises.
Then the door in the waiting room opened, and a few of the patients looked up. A female nurse with sika deer-like antlers and white spots came in and looked around.
"Izuku Midoriya?" Came the soft voice of the nurse, "Dr. Akarui will now check on you."
Izuku and his mother got up from their seats and followed the nurse. She led them to a small empty room and told them the doctor would be with them shortly. She left afterward, leaving him and Inko alone. Izuku pouted; waiting was boring.
Thankfully, he didn't have to wait for long. The door opened and came in a man in his late thirties; and he had glasses and red hair with a few strains of gray. He gestured for Izuku to sit on the examination table while he pulled out a chair.
"Hello, Midoriya. I've heard that you been incorrectly declared quirkless."
Izuku nodded, and Inko took over. "Dr. Tsubasa was his doctor. He is one of Izuku's friend's grandfather, and he checked most of the kids in our district."
Dr. Akarui wrote a few things on his clipboard before gesturing for Inko to continue.
Inko looked sadly at her son when Izuku trembled, remembering the doctor's harsh words. "He told us that Izuku will never have a quirk. He said that he could never have a quirk because he was born with an extra toe joint."
Dr. Akarui froze before tsking in disapproval. "I see…"
Inko noticed the doctor's calm demeanor changed to one of anger. "I-is there something wrong?"
Dr. Akarui softened his eyes when he noticed the Midoriyas looked unsettled, "It's nothing, Mrs. Midoriya." He looked at Izuku with a soft smile, "Don't worry, Midoriya. It seems that this Dr. Tsubasa must have his medical license revoked."
Izuku tilted his head in confusion, "Why?"
"Over a hundred years ago, the theory of people being quirkless because of the extra toe joint had been disproven." He said calmly. He gave a sly smile, "Between the two of us, I also have an extra toe joint."
"Really?"
"Yes." His hand was engulfed by beautiful green flame, but the hand remained unharmed. "But as you can see, I have a quirk."
Izuku mouthed a wow as he looked at the beautiful flames before Dr. Akarui dissipated them.
"Don't worry, young Midoriya, and we'll have this matter solved." He smiled, "I'll have the quirk counselor take a look at your quirk, and we'll register your quirk afterward."
It wasn't long before the doctor took them to a quirk counselor, The quirk counselor was a lovely lady, and she took Izuku alone to a giant room with lots of space. There was a table with a few stuff and photos on their left. Additionally, the walls are made with a special resistance for specific quirks.
"Now then, Midoriya," The quirk counselor said with a board clip at hand. "Can you explain to me how you discovered your quirk?
Izuku nodded, "Um…when I was playing with Kacchan, I was thinking about wanting some water guns." The quirk counselor wrote this down, "And then, both my hands turned into water guns, and I accidentally got everyone wet."
"I see…" She wrote a few more things before smiling at Izuku. "Can you show me, please?"
Izuku nodded enthusiastically and turned around, not wanting to hurt or wet the lovely lady. He had his hands facing the wall that was at least 84 feet away. He thought about wanting his hands to turn into water guns, and to his delight, it worked.
Both of his hands turned into water guns, and the water came out of the nozzle. Thankfully, the water blast wasn't as powerful as it was yesterday when the water blew Katsuki away. But despite its lack of power, it was still effective as it reached halfway.
During the entire time, the quirk counselor kept writing everything down. Izuku's returned to normal, and the boy waited for a response. The counselor eventually finished righting down and smiled at him, "Well then, sweetheart, should we try something else?"
Izuku nodded.
"Ok then. See if you can turn your hands into other things. Like a pen."
Izuku concentrated, but after a few minutes, nothing happened. The counselor wrote that down.
"It seems you can't make any other usable objects. This is where the next test comes in." She went to the table and a photograph of a Colt M1911 gun model.
"Try to create this gun, but with rubber bullets, if you can."
Izuku did that, and it worked. He did a couple of rounds, and as it turned out, Izuku had an unlimited amount. Then they had him do other things, such as other guns, swords, daggers, and even a small cannon. By the end of it, there were a few rubber bullets and a few decently small cannon balls.
"Facinatinating." The counselor muttered as she wrote every information she gathered, "It seems that you can create an entire arsenal. Though, is it limited to your hands?"
Izuku pondered over this before deciding to test this. He took off his All Might shirt and focused on his chest. His upper body turned into a cannon, to his and the counselor's surprise. It was bigger than the previous, and Izuku had shot a decently large cannonball before his body and head had turned back to normal.
All the counselor could do was look in shock while asking the boy, "sweetie, are you alright?!"
Izuku didn't answer at first as he began to touch his upper body and head to feel his face and hair "that was weird. It felt like I was normal, but at the same time, I was all stuck at the same time."
The counselor began writing down and continued to speak, "just make sure to be careful, sweetheart."
There were a few more tests on his mouth, tongue, head, feet, and back. The counselor finished writing the papers on her clipboard while Izuku had his entire torso turned into a large sword.
"My goodness Midoriya. It seems that you have quite the powerful quirk." She smiled.
Izuku then looked at her with a bit of sadness in his eyes, and a bit of fear as his body jittered, "c-can I become a hero w-with it?"
The woman stopped writing and looked down at the boy with a smile. "I'm sure you can become a great hero with it."
The fear and sadness left Izuku's face as his eyes lit up, and he smiled brightly with joy.
"Now, what do you want to call your quirk?"
Izuku was silent for a moment before something clicked in his head.
"Arsenal."
Location: Hospital room
Time: 12:36 P.M.
While Izuku was distracted with a few toys, the doctor and quirk counselor spoke with Inko.
"I see…" Inko said with incertitude, glancing at her son worryingly, "There is one thing I don't understand. That is how my son gained this quirk. Neither my husband nor my families have any quirks that involve weapons."
Dr. Akarui pushed his glasses, "I assure you that there is nothing to worry about." Inko looked at the doctor questionably, "while fairly recent and not much data exists for it, there have been studies that on rare occasions, a quirk will manifest with a unique phenomenon that has no relation to bloodlines. We're calling them quirk mutations for now."
"I see,"
The quirk counselor coughed to get her attention, "I believe we have everything covered. Are there any more questions?"
Inko looked uncertain before looking at them, "Well, I should've mentioned this, but there is something else that occurred since my son manifested his quirk."
"Of course."
"Yesterday, when I was giving my son a bath, for whatever reason, the water drained my son of strength." She pursed her lips as she remembered the horrifying moment. "Izuku explained to me that despite his best efforts, he couldn't move nor shout. However, when I showered him, it seemed like nothing happened."
While Inko was explaining, the quirk counselor wrote the information down while Dr. Akarui seemed deep in thought.
"So what I'm hearing," The quirk counselor spoke, "When your son was on standing water, he felt all of his energy and strength leave him while moving water was unaffected."
"Yes."
"Hmmm…" The quirk counselor clicked her tongue and wrote some more on her clipboard. "We won't experiment on this, but for safety reasons, it would be wise if he stays away from baths, oceans, and pools."
"But tell me, has Izuku had any problems when drinking water?"
"No."
The quirk counselor nodded and wrote a bit more on her clipboard.
Dr. Akarui stepped up. "I will draw some blood from your son for examination. If it's alright with you?"
By the end of it, Izuku was allowed to go home and forbidden from going anywhere near bodies of water, so long as it wasn't drinking water.

"Woohoo! Well done, Izu!" Smiled Mitsuki, with her husband smiling gently.
With his quirk officially registered and having an entire idea of how it works, Izuku left the hospital. On their way home, Inko called Mitsuki and told her the good news. So Mitsuki dragged her husband and son to the Midoriyas to properly congratulate the boy.
Izuku flushed slightly, "Thank you, auntie."
Katsuki, however, was not happy. "So you got a quirk, big whoop. Mine's way stronger and cooler than yours."
Mitsuki responded by smacking Katsuki upside the head."Shut up, Katsuki! Where are your manners?! Izuku finally has a quirk, and all you can do is admonish him?!"
"Shut up, old hag!"
"Don't call me a hag, Katsuki!"
"Now, now! Now is not the time." Pleaded Masaru, but it was pointless as both his wife and son got into a shouting match.
Inko merely shook her head in fondness, and Izuku smiled nervously. Eventually, things calmed down, and Inko insisted the Bakugos stay for dinner. Mitsuki ran to the kitchen to help, and Inko and Masaru, with panicked expressions, quickly ran up.
Which left the boys alone in the living room. Katsuki glared at Izuku, and the green-haired boy shuffled his feet and looked down at the ground.
"Fight me, Deku." Demanded the boy.
Izuku looked at Katsuki in shock. "We can't fight inside the house! Mom will get angry!"
Katsuki grumbled but didn't argue, "So long as we don't use our quirks, it will be fine." He decided.
Izuku barely had a moment to progress this before Katsuki tried to punch his face. Izuku just barely managed to dodge as Katsuki continued his assault. In a state of panic, Izuku's tongue shot a dart, piercing Katsuki's shoulder.
Katsuki hissed at the sudden pain before dropping dead on the floor. Izuku yelped and went to check on the boy. Thankfully, Katsuki was snoring, so the green-haired boy sighed in relief.
At that moment, Matsuki left the kitchen to check on the boys. A smile graced her lips as she saw her son passed out on the ground. She'd never let Katsuki live this to die down.

Izuku was buzzing with excitement, practically vibrating in his chair. Today his mom gave him the green light to call his dad with a video call. His mom set up everything, and now all that was needed was for his dad to answer. It had been a while since he spoke to his dad. And his mom decided to keep his quirk a surprise so the boy could tell his dad himself he couldn't wait!
Despite being declared quirkless, Hisashi assured Izuku he still loved him. Unfortunately, at that moment, his dad was told to go abroad and investigate some things. Izuku wasn't told the details, but he understood that his dad was a busy man.
According to his dad, he would be in America, and Hisashi wasn't sure when he'd return. The boy was sad; of course, they could still be in contact with one another, but Hisashi was so busy that he rarely had time to call his family.
So today, he would relish his little time with his dad and tell him about his recently manifested quirk.
And speaking of the devil…
After a moment, the call was answered. Izuku was met by a man in a brown trench coat. The older man had messy black hair, freckles all over his aging face, and a short stubble beard. His tired brown eyes lit up when he saw the little boy.
"Daddy!"
"Izu!" The older man let out a small laugh, "you've grown so big since I last saw you!" Hisashi gave his son the biggest smile he could muster with how tired he was "so how have you been, kiddo."
Izuku was practically about to jump out of his seat. "I've been really good!" the green-haired boy then brought his hand up the screen"Daddy! I have some exciting news!"
"Oh?" Hisashi looked amused. "Is this why you are vibrating so hard that you look like you want to bounce off the walls?" He gave a light chuckle as he spoke.
Izuku nodded at a rapid pace and then showed off his new quirk. Hisashi's eyes widened when he saw his son's hand turn into a water gun. The older man felt as though he had a heart attack when Izuku's hand changed into more dangerous weapons. Such as guns, daggers, swords, and even a cannon!
Thankfully for his health, Izuku's hand returned to normal.
"Kiddo…. How did you do that?!" Hisashi was speechless. "I thought the doctor said that you would be quirkless?."
It was then that Inko decided to show herself, "hi honey" she then got an unamused look on her face. "Yes, it seems that Dr. Tsubasa has been relying on one hundred years old false information ."
Hisashi blinked before he narrowed his eyes with disapproval, and his brow furrowed, " what a quack. That man should have his medical license revoked."
.
"That's what the nice doctor said." Izuku pipped it, getting a chuckle out of Hisashi.
"So tell me, Izu, how does your new quirk work?"
Izuku excitedly explained how his quirk works and showed off how other parts of his body were also affected. Hisashi almost had a cardiac arrest when Izuku transformed his chest and head into a giant canon.
"Though what I don't understand is how Izuku has a quirk like this." Hisashi hummed as he stroked his beard and looked at his wife. "As far as I'm aware, I don't have anyone on my side of the family who has a quirk like this" he then stops questioning himself to ask his wife, "Do you have anyone in your family with a weapon quirk or something similar to this?"
Inko shook her head before smiling, "no, but the doctors told us that while rare, there are mutations that can cause a quirk that is different from both their parents or families. So Izuku has a unique quirk entirely."
In his hotel room, Hisashi shook his head in amusement and chuckled, "Well, he'll certainly be the man of the house while I'm gone protecting his mother." He finished as his wife and Hisashi both gave a light-hearted chuckle before he heard some… unsettling noises from outside, and he looked cautiously behind him at the door "hmm, that's odd. The hotel cleaning staff shouldn't be up for another few hours?"
While Inko was also surprised, he began to hear the oven timer go off "oh, dinner's done!" As she walked out, she gave her husband one last glance. "I know you probably have to go to work soon is. Goodbye, honey. I love you!" With that, she closed Izuku's door
With a quick "love you too" from the man, Hisashi looked to the door again; as rustling was getting a bit louder, it was beginning to feel like something was wrong…
"Daddy? What's wrong?" Izuku asked, noticing his father's sudden change of mood.
Hisashi looked at his son and noticed his wife was no longer on the screen. "N-nothing at all, kiddo," he said, trying to reassure his son before he had an idea "hey, there's something I need to tell you; it is important, Kiddo."
A certain delight hit his face. Izuku usually heard his father's detective stories when the man was home but hadn't heard anymore while he was in America, and while he loved heroes, this was the next best thing for him.
"What is it?! Another spy story?!" The boy finished with a smile gracing his face
Hisashi would love to tell Izuku a story, but this was serious. With a determined face, he spoke, "listen, Izuku, what I'm about to tell you is serious, and under no circumstances are you allowed to tell anyone about this. Not even your mother."
The boy's smile vanished for a bit. His dad never used his full first name unless it was important, so he listened and asked.
"Even Kacchan?"
"Even Kacchan. Do you promise?"
"I solemnly swear," Izuku said with a grave-serious voice.
Hisashi would have chuckled at the cuteness had it not been for the serious situation. "I sent a package to reach home. It's a small blue and black box with a little silver key that opens it. Once it is delivered to the house, keep it safe at all costs, hold on to the key and hide the box, and I'll show you what's inside once I get home." Hisashi then gave his signature smile his son knew all too well, "Can you do your old man a kiddo?"
Izuku nodded, "I promise."
Hisashi nodded, satisfied, "Good. I must go now. Keep the package safe until I return home." He touched his hand to the screen. "I love you, Izuku."
Izuku felt this as he put his hand where he saw his fathers. "I love you too, dad" as they moved their hand, Izuku gave one last wave, "goodbye, see you soon!"
Having said what he needed, Hisashi gave his son "goodbye" and closed the video call. And as a banging came from his door, He muttered, "I'll keep them safe no one will know where they are, and no matter what, I'll see them again, even if one last time.." he then was the metal door begin to bend as he took a defensive stance "go be a hero Izuku I believe in you!"
A few hours later, Inko received a call with the most horrifying news. Hisashi had been kidnapped by what was told. His entire hotel room had been destroyed in the struggle.
Izuku could only cry for his daddy with his mom when she told him the news. Only a few days later, the package his dad mentioned was delivered. It was a blue and black box, and it was locked, but Hisashi had the key delivered with it.
Though, Izuku never had the heart to open it. And just as he promised, he never told anyone about it, not even his mom or Kacchan. Izuku hid the box and ensured that his mom wouldn't find it. He would eventually forget about it; until then, it would collect dust in his room.

"Come on, Deku, let's just go and play."
Izuku looked at Katsuki with big sad eyes, tears flowing already. " I don't know…"
Katsuki let out a sigh of annoyance, "Is this about uncle Hisashi?"
Izuku let out a river of tears, "They said that they'd find him, but it's been a few weeks. What if the villains that got him and…. And?!" Izuku could finish as the year rolled down his face
Meanwhile, Inko and Mitsuki were sitting at a nearby bench, watching the boys. Mitsuki gave Izuku a look of sympathy. The Midoriyas haven't been the same since Hisashi disappeared, so Mitsuki decided to burst in and drag them to the park.
She had hoped going out in the fresh air would cheer them up, but it seemed Izuku still needed more time. Inko was also depressed about it, but at least she recovered a little faster than her son.
"Deku…" Katsuki had no idea what to do. When it came to the emotional shit, his shitty old man would usually take care of it.
"What the-!"
"What the fuck! Get back here, you fucking thief!"
Both Izuku and Katsuki turned to look at their mothers, and they saw some man running away with both their purses. Mitsuki was cussing while Inko was in shock. Katsuki grinned; this is what he was good for. Now to prove he was a hero!
"Com'on Deku! Let's be heroes!" Katsuki grabbed Izuku's hand and dragged him to where the thief ran off.
"WAH! W-wait, Kacchan-!"
Both boys heard their mothers shout at them, but Katsuki didn't care. This was his chance to prove his strength and heroism, and he wasn't going to miss it,
The purse thief managed to get away from both women and huffed in satisfaction. He started to walk away when he heard, "DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!"
He barely reacted when a boy no older than six jumped at him and created an explosion with his hands. He as yelled in pain as the explosion hit and sent him back on his ass and groaned when he hit the ground.
Katsuki looked on in victory "ha, that's what you get, you stu-" Katsuki didn't react as he was blowback by a strong gust of wind that hit him in the stomach.
As the man got up, he angrily looked at the kid, a smug smile crossing his face, "Well, look what we have here, a little boy playing hero. Go home, kid, if you know what's good for you."
Katsuki, however, was not dissuaded as he got up and instead grinned madly with his hands crackling with little explosions. Izuku was quite far behind Katsuki, and he was trembling a little. But he tried to look strong as his hand transformed into a water gun.
"Tsk" The purse thief was annoyed and shot a giant gust of wind at Katsuki.
Katsuki yelled in shock and anger before his small body painfully collided with a tree. It just so happens that Izuku was next to the tree, and the boy was shocked that Kacchan was so easily defeated.
As Katsuki tried to stand up, the thief got slightly aggravated "you little brat!" He reared back his hand and shot another gust of wind "stay down!" the kind his Katsuki dead hon hitting him into the tree again
After the last hit, Katsuki struggled to get up, shaking as he let out a weak. "D-Deku…Run…."
The thief laughed. "Not so tough, are ya?" He taunted.
Katsuki snarled, "Y-you bitch!"
"Geez, you kiss your mother with that mouth?" He chuckled, unbothered by Katsuki's yells of disgust.
"K-Kacchan-!"
The thief looked at Izuku with an aura of arrogance. "Heh, I suggest you run off to your mommy, kid. Unless you want to end up like your friend there."
Izuku had tears coming out of his eyes, and the thief laughed mockingly, "Aw, is the brat going to cry?" He asked with a mocking concerned voice.
Izuku was afraid and trembling but looked at the thief. He looked determined as he went in front of Katsuki and protected him. "S-stay away from Kacchan!"
"Oh, I'm scared." The thief said sarcastically, "What are you going to do, wet me to death?" He gestured to Izuku's water gun hand.
As soon as he said that, Izuku let out a warcry, and his body became a whole arsenal and shot the villain with a multitude of projectiles from water to rubber bullets to tranquilizers to a cannon.
In panic and shock, the thief tried to blow off whatever Izuku threw at him in a panic with his wind quirk. While he managed to get the water, rubber bullets, and tranquilizer darts are blown away, he couldn't do anything with a cannonball. The cannonball hit his stomach, making him cough blood as a result, and threw him crashing into the tree, so hard branches began to fall from it, one hitting the thief on the head.
The force caused a loud CRACK on the bark, and the thief had the wind knocked out of him. He wheezed a bit before laying on the ground, throwing up whatever he ate with some blood. He started losing vision, and the last thing he saw was the green-hair kid as his body returned to normal.
'Damn brat!' The thief thought of the head trauma, and he lost consciousness.
Katsuki stood there, shocked. The boy who seemed useless had beaten someone he couldn't. Deku has proven himself to be strong, and his friend was strong! He couldn't describe it. He was unbelievably happy.
Katsuki looked at the unconscious thief in shock. "D-Deku! Y-you did it!" His shock to turns into amazement. "Deku, you did it!" Katsuki says with a grin on his face
He turns to look at Izuku, but he doesn't respond for a moment. And immediately, he falls to the ground, unconscious. Katsuki's excitement vanished as he made his way to Izuku's fallen form, shaking him as hard as possible with a tiny hint of panic.
"Wake up, Deku!"
Izuku remain unresponsive,
No matter much he tried or how hard he shook, the boy stayed unconscious, unresponsive "Deku!… Deku!….. Izuku, wake up. This isn't funny anymore!"
By then, Inko and Mitsuki came in running. Inko with a hint of panic and Mitsuki with an angry scowl.
"There you are, you brats!" Yelled Mitsuki. She noticed Izuku's unconscious form, and her angry expression was immediate to one of concern,
"Katsuki, what happened?!"
Inko was likewise panicking and quickly went to her son's side. But what shocked Mitsuki was that her son was actually crying. Tears and snot are coming out of him, and he isn't trying to deny it either.
"Izuku won't wake up!"
[?]
When Izuku opened his eyes, everything was a black void. He looked around, confused about where he was and how he got here.
"W-where am I? What happened?"
He then remembered the encounter he had with the thief. "Oh… Yeah…"
He looked around, "But where am I?"
He heard a loud CLANK, and it echoed in the endless void. Izuku looked down and felt a pang of grief in his heart. It was the silver key to the package his dad had sent him. He started crying, and tears dripped and disappeared into the void.
The boy fell to his knees and hugged them. 'D-daddy…I miss you!'
He buried his face on his knees and failed to notice a looming shadowy silhouette walking toward him. Eventually, Izuku heard the footsteps, and when he looked up, his eyes widened in fear when he saw a demonic silhouette walking toward him.
Izuku tried to scoot away from the scary silhouette, which lingered closer to him. He wanted to attack him with his quirk, but to his utter horror and shock, his quirk wasn't responding.
"W-what?!" He panicked and tried again.
Nothing occurred, and soon enough, the demonic silhouette looked down at him. The silhouette seemed to be made of the same material as the void, as Izuku couldn't see its characteristics. Izuku closed his eyes and leaned away.
He was awaiting whatever this thing would do him, but it never occurred. If anything, he felt the warmth of a hand on his head. He opened his eyes, and the silhouette gently and affectionately caressed him. Izuku felt its calming aura. There was no malice but instead assurance and warmth.
"H-huh?"
The silhouette spoke in a demonic voice, but it was gentle. "Don't worry, little one. I will always be with you."
"Y-you can talk?"
The silhouette chuckled, "Yes. I mean no harm, I promise."
The silhouette picked up the key and offered it to the boy, "There is no shame in missing your father. I may have never met the man, but I know he would want you to hold your head high."
"R-really?"
"Yes."
The silhouette started to fade. "It seems…th…connect…is…fading…." It turned to Izuku, "Go ki…be…hero you'll know…'ve become…."
Izuku lost consciousness.
Location: Musutafu Park

"Izuku! Wake up, please!"
Izuku blinked and found himself looking up at the leaves swaying gently in the wind. He heard his mom's pleas, and in the corner of his eye, he noticed auntie Mitsuki talking with Kacchan. They spoke lowly -which was a surprise- that he couldn't hear them. "Why does Kaachan look….. sad?"
"IZUKUUUUUUU!" Cried his mom before hugging him tightly, squeezing him, with her own river of tears falling down. "You had me worried! You and Katsuki run off to that dangerous villain, and then I find you here unconscious!"
Both Bakugou's heard Inko's yells, and Matsuki quickly went to check on Izuku. Katsuki remains in his spot, staring off into the distance, though. His mom had already told him about running off to a dangerous situation.
"Are you alright, Izuku?"
Izuku nods, "Yeah, I'm fine." He looked around. Where's the villain?"
Mitsuki pointed at the villain, that was tied up on a rope. He was still unconscious, "I've already called the police. They should arrive here soon and haul him to prison. Let's get out of here, though."
The four left the thief behind, and Mitsuki berated Izuku in the most gentle way possible.
"What you boys did here was brave." Mitsuki said, giving them a look before pulling one of their ears each, much to their dismay, "But that doesn't mean you boys get yourself into trouble." She said, furrowing her brows with an angry look
"Sorry, auntie…" Muttered Izuku with an apologetic voice while giving her sad eyes and rubbing his ear.
Katsuki looks off "sorry ha- I mean …..mom," finishing quietly.
Mitsuki, in shock from Katsuki, waves their apology as her anger subsides. "Bah, don't worry. Next time leave the job to the heroes, you two."
Izuku stopped walking as he remembered something.
"Go ki…be…hero you'll know…'ve become…."
He doesn't remember where he heard those words, but they felt familiar. By then, everyone had stopped walking when they noticed Izuku wasn't walking anymore.
Izuku looked at Mitsuki with a determined gaze, "Then I promise I will become a hero! Kacchan and I will become the greatest heroes this world has to offer! And stop villains from doing this!"
Mitsuki let out a bark of laughter while Inko looked at her son with a hint of worry, "That's what I'm talking about! When you and Katsuki become heroes, show the fucking world you're made of!"
Inko, while excited, looked at Mitsuki with a bit of a scowl. "Mitsuki, watch your language. And you wonder where Katsuki gets it from."
All Mitsuki could do was wave it off with a laugh. "Hahaha, oh relax, Inko."
Izuku let out a happy yell, and Mitsuki laughed. Katsuki, however, was a little further away from the group. When Izuku said they would be heroes, he almost yelled in agreement, but something in his gut churned in disagreement.
He had this feeling for a while. When Deku first believed he was quirkless and he started to use him as a punching bag, Katsuki always felt it. At first, he waved it off, thinking it was some fucking nerves, and no matter what he did, the feeling never left.
Then, Izuku got his quirk. It was late, but at least he had a quirk. It was different from his auntie and uncle, but according to auntie, the doctor said some lucky fucker would get a quirk different from their families on rare occasions.
It was somewhat cool, but it only increased the feeling in his gut. It took him a while to understand what this feeling was. It was only after Deku killed the shitty villain.
Remorse.
And Katsuki had no idea how to deal with this shit.
He started to think to himself, "have I been doing it all wrong?" he looked to his hands "is there more important things than being the strongest" so many thoughts buzzing in his head.
He looked at Izuku, and there was so much confusion "we're so different, and yet you stuck around with me…. Why," he let a small explosion off,
"I've done so many things, so many bad things to you and other people, so why" he stood there and watched Izuku smile, then look at him, the smile growing even bigger "what do you see in me? That you considered good."
Katsuki looked ahead in the street as they were walking. "I don't think I can really call you my friend Izuku" he looked at his hand one more time, "but I'll work really hard to earn that spot and make up for what I've done this, I promise." He looked at Izuku one last time, "the only way I can."
