Here we are, dear readers. The very first story of my new mini-series Magical Jedi Tales, this being the first the Jedi will be facing a clavatized villain on their own.

Today was a very special day for a family in the Jedi Temple. An adoption day.

Not that long ago, young Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano was adopted by the very Jedi who'd discovered her, Master Plo Koon, who then married fellow Council member Shaak Tii, a Togruta like Ahsoka. But, although they were a happy couple with one daughter they couldn't be happier to call their own, they decided to grow their family more. The couple applied to adopt a child, and after so long, they were finally going to be the proud parents of a little Togruta boy named Turha.

Ahsoka and the family's horses did some final adjustments to Turha's new bedroom to make him feel welcome when he arrived.

"Isn't it wonderful?" said Sunheart. "We're finally getting a child in here."

"I haven't seen our riders so excited about anything since... maybe the royal wedding." Citrus said.

"Too bad my master is away for the next few days with his family." Ahsoka said. "He'd love to meet him."

"You must be so excited, Ahsoka." Fiesta smiled. "You're going to be a new hermana."

"I am excited. I only hope he'll be looking forward to meeting me."

"I understand, amiga. My oldest brother, Sombrero, he's told me many stories about how he, Maraca, and Benito each felt when they found out a new bebe would be joining our familia."

Fiesta pulled out an old picture from when she was little. In the picture were three alicorn stallions and a little filly with a red rose in her hair that must have been Fiesta. The oldest one had a red coat like his sister, but his mane was mostly orange with yellow streaks, and he had a mark on his side that looked like a little sombrero hat. He even wore a tiny sombrero on his head that just looked adorable. The second oldest had an orange coat with a red mane, and he had a mark that looked like a pair of maracas. And the youngest of the males was a yellow orange with a green and orange mane; that one was Benito. Back then, Fiesta, didn't have the confetti-streamer like pattern on her flank.

One thing that ran in Fiesta's family, everyone loved to party, especially with lots of music. Fiesta was the only daughter in her house, but she was treated as part of the family nonetheless. All three of her big brothers loved music, and they loved each other. So, one day, they formed a little musical group they called Cuatro Caballos, which translated to "four horses," and they often played music and sang together just for fun, though they occasionally did perform at parties.

But ever since Fiesta moved in with Ahsoka, she hadn't seen her brothers as much.

"Sombrero was worried Mami and Papi would like the new baby more than him, but he was proved wrong, and then he and Maraca met for the very first time. Then, Benito was born, and then our parents had me.

"You were the only girl in your family?" Citrus said.

"Si." Fiesta nodded. "I was used to growing up around a lot of roughhousing when I was una porta pequeña, a little filly."

"No wonder you were able to give the clones a hard time when they first met you." Ahsoka chuckled.

"Little 'Soka." said Plo. "It is time to pick up your brother."

"We can't wait to meet him." Sunheart said. "We'll finish cleaning up. All will be ready for Turha when he comes."

"You sure you'll be okay on your own?" Ahsoka asked.

"We'll be fine, Ahsoka." Fiesta said. "You just worry about bringing Turha home so we can welcome him into our familia."

"Well, if you're sure."

Ahsoka stroked Fiesta's muzzle, and she began heading out with her parents to pick up her little brother.

"We'll be back in a couple of hours." Shaak said.

"No shenanigans," said Plo Koon.

"When have we been known to throw shenanigans?" Citrus said.

"What about that incident when you tried to impress Magenta with your dance moves?" Ahsoka pointed out.

Flashback...

Magenta was listening to a little music on the radio while enjoying lunch in the commissary. Citrus walked in and saw the mare of his dreams. Things went fine on Valentine's Day, but Citrus didn't see much progress in making her his mare-friend. So, he thought... maybe if she thought he was a great dancer, she'd notice him.

"Hey, Magenta. Check out my moves!" Citrus exclaimed, starting to dance, only to trip and tumble right into Master Tinn and knock over a bunch of trays, covering the floor in food, and ending with an apple pie landing on Citrus' head.

That did not end well.

"Uhh... oops." Citrus smiled awkwardly.

At least it Magenta's attention.

Present day...

"That was one time, and it was an accident!" Citrus said.

"That was yesterday." Ahsoka said.

"Either way," said Sunheart. "This place won't be a mess when you get back, we can promise you that."

"If you are sure," said Shaak. "There are a list of chores left to complete on the refrigerator. Can you complete them before we come home?"

"You can count on us, Senora." Fiesta said. "Absolutamente. The sooner you go, the sooner we all get to meet and welcome Turha."

With that said, the Togruta and Kel Dor family left to retrieve their newest family member.

In the meantime, the horses stayed back to get the rest of the chores done. There was quite a bit to be done. They had to finish dusting the apartment, fluff all the pillows, fold the laundry, replace the batteries in the smoke alarms, clean and put away the dishes, pick up package from IGPS (Inter-Galactic Postal Service), and do the grocery shopping.

"Okay, we'll need to split up to complete all these chores." Fiesta said, picking up some money their riders left for the groceries and another list of things they needed. "Sunheart, Citrus, you start on the chores here, I will head out to do the grocery shopping and pick up the package."

"Are you sure you'll be okay on your own, Fiesta?" Sunheart said.

"Si, I will be fine. I grew up in a literal party animal household, I think I can handle a simple task like picking up packages and groceries."

So, Fiesta headed on her way to get the shopping done, when she bumped into someone as she was leaving the Temple.

"Oh, lo siento, I-" Fiesta froze when she saw who she'd bumped into.

"Hola, hermana." said a familiar red unicorn stallion.

"Sombrero!" Fiesta cheered, nuzzling with her brother.

"And Maraca," said another stallion.

"And Benito."

Fiesta was ecstatic to see her brothers all here.

"This is terrifico! What are you all doing here?" Fiesta smiled.

"We came to visit our favorite hermana." Benito said, licking his sister.

"I'm your only sister." chuckled the young mare.

"Well, we missed you." Sombrero said. "We were all back home and we thought, why leave Fiesta out of the fiesta?"

"Where are you headed, hermanita?" asked Maraca.

"To go shopping for my rider and her familia. They're adopting un nino, and he's coming home today, but there's a lot to be done before his arrival."

"Well, why don't you let us assist you?"

"Oh, I wouldn't want to bother you, especially while you're visiting."

"Hey, we're Cuatro Caballos," said Benito. "Working together is what we do. What is on the list?"

"Besides grocery shopping, I also need to pick up a package that has a present for the new family member."

"I think Benito and I can take care of that." said Maraca.

"Then I will help with grocery shopping." Sombrero said. "Vamos, hermanita. Hermanos, good luck."

"Remember, the package is addressed to Jedi Master Plo Koon." Fiesta said, giving Maraca a small device. "This has the code and information you will need to get the package. Once you have it, bring it back here, okay. And if you have trouble finding the apartment, tell whoever you find that Ahsoka Tano's horse Fiesta sent you."

"You can count on us, Fiesta." Maraca said.
