Hello, so yes, I have been concentrating on tribulations of the way, I want to focus on it a bit while the idea is still fresh in my mind before I get back to the other story of mine and I hope you don't mind. And one more thing, I want to say thank you to those who have followed and favored both the stories and those who have followed me, thank you so much for the support.

Two days later

Jan Di and Ji Hoo's relationship was beginning to evolve from a simple friendship to something more romantic. They had been spending a lot of time together outside of campus, going on dates and holding hands. Ji Hoo had started finding ways to touch her, holding her waist tightly when they were on the stairwell and sharing meals from the same plate. He even attempted to kiss her a few times, but something always seemed to get in the way, ruining the moment.

Jan Di, who lacked experience in matters of the heart, thought that this was normal behavior between friends, especially between a boy and a girl. She was not like other girls and had never experienced such emotions before. But her best friend Ga Eul, whom she had met after leaving the orphanage, had once told her that when you meet the person you like, your heart will skip a beat and your mind will go blank.

Jan Di had never understood what Ga Eul meant until she met Ji Hoo. He was not just handsome but also kind-hearted, and every time she was around him, her heart would race, and her palms would sweat. She felt a deep connection with him that she had never experienced before, and she hoped that their relationship would continue to grow. But how when she doesn't know?

Ji Hoo lay on his bed, staring up at the ceiling with a wide, contented grin. He felt an immense sense of happiness and relief now that Jan Di had forgiven him for keeping his identity as the guild president and one of the F4 a secret. It had been three days since their reconciliation, and he was thrilled at the thought of being able to get closer to her.

As they received their test results and discovered that they had once again topped the class, Jan Di was elated. She threw caution to the wind and hugged Ji Hoo tightly, causing his heart to race and his palms to sweat. He had long harbored feelings for her and had never dared to confess them, but at that moment, he felt like he was on top of the world.

As he drifted off to sleep, he couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them. Would they become something more than just friends? Would their relationship blossom into something beautiful? He was willing to take the risk and follow his heart, no matter where it led him.

However, there was a complication. Ji Hoo's best friend, Gu Jun Pyo, had become interested in Jan Di as well. Ever since they met at Woo Bin's birthday party, Jun Pyo had been following her and asking around for information about her. He was possessive by nature and would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. Ji Hoo knew that his friend's interest in Jan Di could cause problems, but he remained hopeful that their friendship would not be affected.

Jan Di found herself in a strange and unfamiliar place, standing before a masked man who seemed to have all the answers to the questions she had been asking herself in her dreams. She couldn't help but feel overwhelmed as she gazed at the enigmatic figure before her.

"Go find the seeker who will help you and his majesty resolve the catastrophe between humans and demons," the masked man said in a calm voice.

Jan Di's curiosity was piqued, and she couldn't help but ask, "Who are you? Why do you keep appearing in my dreams? And who is the seeker?"

The masked man smiled mysteriously and replied, "You will find out who I am when the time is right. As for the seeker, he is the one who will guide you on your journey to resolve the conflict between humans and demons."

Jan Di was still confused, and she asked, "I am just a human; where can I find the seeker? And how do I find him? And one more thing, who am I?"

The masked man's smile widened as he said, "You are the key to resolving the conflict between humans and demons. The seeker will help you on your journey, but you must first trust in yourself and your abilities. Follow your instincts, and they will lead you to the seeker."

With those words, the masked man vanished into thin air, leaving Jan Di with more questions than answers. She knew that she had a daunting task ahead of her, but she was determined to fulfill her destiny and bring peace to both worlds.

Jan Di awoke with a start, her heart pounding in her chest, and her breathing labored. She glanced at her pet dog, Bark, who was snoring softly beside her, and tried to calm herself down. This was not the first time she had had this dream—a dream where she was either smiling or lying in bed with a man beside her. But this time, it was different. The man was haunting her with the seeker, his presence ominous and foreboding. She couldn't shake off the feeling that there was a deeper meaning to this dream and that it was somehow connected to her identity—her mission.

Jan Di decided to meditate and try to decipher the dream's significance before starting her day. She closed her eyes and focused on her breathing, trying to let go of her thoughts and emotions. But just as she begins to feel a sense of peace, a message from Ji Hoo pops up on her phone.

"Hey, how was your night?" the message reads. "Can you be my study partner this evening? We have a project to work on, and I was hoping that before others steal you, I should ask you first."

Jan Di couldn't help but feel relieved at the distraction from her dream. She quickly replied to Ji Hoo, agreeing to be his study partner for the evening. As she got ready for the day, she couldn't help but wonder if her dream was somehow connected to her mission and her mysterious identity. She knew that she needed to stay focused and keep her mind sharp to complete her mission successfully. The dream was a puzzle that she needed to solve, and she was determined to find the missing pieces.

After showering, Jan Di got ready to go to campus. She served her pet, who ate a lot, but she didn't mind taking care of him. Taking care of her pet dog, Bark, was a tiring task for her, but she enjoyed it greatly. Bark has been a loyal partner ever since she was young at the orphanage. Bark, by then, was a puppy who had been an abandoned, injured dog at the orphanage. As she walked out of her hostel toward campus, she was met with an unexpected person, Gu Jun Pyo, the man she met at Ji Hoo's friend's party. The Young Korean billionaire is also the leader of F4.

"Good morning, Miss Jan Di?" He greeted her politely, also wearing a smile. He was leaning against his car, wearing a black suit, and holding black shades in his hand.

Jan Di gaped upon seeing him as if he were waiting for someone. "Good morning," she replied politely while bowing. She then began to walk away, but Gu Jun Pyo's voice stopped her.

"I can drop you off," he said, pointing to his black sports car. "I'm heading in that direction."

"No thank you," she politely declined, knowing Ji Hoo would show up any second to take her.

Jan Di was taken aback as Gu Jun Pyo approached her and took her hand as if they were old acquaintances. She couldn't help but notice how warm his hand was and felt a sudden flutter in her chest. Her gaze immediately shifted to his hand that was holding hers, and she pulled away, taking a step back. Gu Jun Pyo, on the other hand, seemed unfazed by her reaction and even chuckled, "I like a girl who knows what she wants."

Jan Di felt a mix of emotions. She was surprised by Gu Jun Pyo's forwardness, yet there was something about him that intrigued her. It wasn't a romantic interest, but rather a curiosity about him. As they stood there in silence, Jan Di couldn't help but take a closer look at Gu Jun Pyo. He was undeniably handsome, with a chiseled jawline and piercing eyes that seemed to look right through her. His strong perfume almost made her sneeze, but before she had the chance to react, the sound of a motorcycle interrupted their moment.

As Ji Hoo rode his motorbike towards the girls' hostels, he caught sight of Jun Pyo and Jan Di standing by the gate. Without hesitation, he pulled up next to them, getting off the bike quickly. He could sense Jan Di's unease as she stood next to Jun Pyo, and he knew he had to act fast. With a swift motion, he took Jan Di's hand and pulled her away from Jun Pyo's sight. She felt a wave of relief wash over her as she was whisked away by Ji Hoo.

Jan Di couldn't quite pinpoint why she felt so uneasy around Jun Pyo. Perhaps it was his arrogance and entitlement that bothered her, or maybe it was the way he seemed to look down on those around him. Whatever the reason, Jan Di was grateful to be away from him for the time being. She felt safe and protected with Ji Hoo by her side.

In front of his best friend, Ji Hoo wrapped his arm around her waist, slowly raised her face with his hand, and leaned into her. Before she could register what was happening, she was enveloped with that sweet scent of his while his soft, full lips touched hers. The kiss was soft and tender, yet filled with a passion that left her breathless. Jan Di's heart raced as she felt his arms wrap around her, pulling her closer to him. His arms ventured further, touching the skin of her bare back, massaging it gracefully and reminding her of the type of dress she wore today thanks to her best friend Ga Eul, who normally chooses the dresses she wears. Today, she was wearing an elegant black floral V-neck halter dress with a high waist.

...

After the kiss ended, he pressed his forehead against hers and whispered some honeyed words against her lips, forgetting about Gu Jun Pyo, who was still there. She felt a rush of emotions coursing through her veins as she looked into his eyes, lost in the moment. Her knees buckled when Ji Hoo took her earlobe in between his lips, sucking on it while he fixed his eyes on his best friend, letting him know that Jan Di was off-limits to any man who set his sight on her.

Gu Jun Pyo stood firm, watching Jan Di and Ji Hoo as they exchanged sweet nothings and held hands. While his heart ached with jealousy and longing, he knew deep down that he couldn't let his emotions get the best of him. He had been following Jan Di for the past three days, and he knew that she was off-limits. But that didn't stop him from wanting her with every fiber of his being.

As he watched Ji Hoo shower Jan Di with affection, Gu Jun Pyo couldn't help but feel possessive over her. He knew that she was special, and he couldn't stand the thought of her being with anyone else. He imagined what it would be like to hold her in his arms, to kiss her lips, and to make love to her. He knew that it was wrong to think this way, but he couldn't help the desire that consumed him.

He was willing to risk everything for a woman he barely knew. He knew that he had to try to win Jan Di's heart, no matter how impossible it seemed. He believed that he was the one she truly needed, and he was willing to fight for her. He knew that he had to be assertive and make his intentions clear, even if it meant risking rejection or humiliation.

Gu Jun Pyo was confident in his pursuit of Jan Di, and he knew that he would stop at nothing to win her over. He was willing to take the necessary steps, no matter how difficult they may be, to make her his own.

Jan Di felt the wind in her hair as Ji Hoo drove his motorbike with her arms tightly wrapped around his waist. The feeling of happiness couldn't help but spread across her face. Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted by a question that had been on her mind since they left his friend's place. "Ji Hoo, why did you do that in front of your friend?"

Ji Hoo chuckled and focused his eyes back on the road, "I don't know how he even knew where I stayed." Jan Di continued to wonder, "Because he has been following you," Ji Hoo replied simply. Jan Di was puzzled, "That's why I have been constantly around you."

Ji Hoo realized his choice of words and berated himself. "I meant..." he said, looking in the side mirror, and true, there was an expression of disappointment. "I mean…" he stammered in his words, "Whatever I did…I wanted to spend time with you. It wasn't about Gu Jun Pyo or anyone else. I just wanted to be with you, Jan Di." He took a deep breath, hoping she would understand his true intentions.

"How about…um…well…the kiss you gave me a while ago?" Jan Di asked, feeling a little uneasy. "I mean in front of your friend. It felt like you were making him feel...jealous."

"Oh, that?" he replied, feeling a bit flustered. "Honestly, it wasn't about making him jealous. It was more about showing him that you're off-limits and he shouldn't try anything with you. I wanted to make it clear that you're mine, and I'm not willing to share you with anyone else."

With her heart racing, Jan Di felt butterflies in her stomach, a feeling she usually has because of him. She couldn't help but feel possessive of Ji Hoo too. They had been through so much together, and it was clear that their bond was unbreakable.

"We should go for lectures," she said, unwrapping her arms around his waist. She did not know how to respond to his possessive declaration, but she knew that she felt the same way. It made her feel safe, and she was grateful for his protective nature.

Together, they walked hand in hand toward the top floor of their lecture room. The whispers of students who walked behind them were countless. "We are heading to the human anatomy laboratory," he informed her. She nodded, feeling a bit nervous about the upcoming class. As they entered the lab, the smell of formaldehyde hit her nose, and she had to fight the urge to gag. Ji Hoo gave her a reassuring smile, and they took their seats, ready for the lesson to begin.

The classroom was abuzz with the anticipation of learning about human anatomy as the professor finally arrived, albeit five minutes late, to commence the lecture. He began by giving an introduction to the various systems of the body, and the students were immediately engrossed in taking down notes. The classroom's walls were adorned with anatomical models and skeletons, which the professor expertly used to explain the concepts in detail, making the lecture both informative and engaging.

As the lecture progressed, Ji Hoo, who was already familiar with the subject, whispered additional information to Jan Di, making the learning experience even more enriching. The professor then called on the students to assist him in positioning a cadaver on the table, which was a surreal experience for many of them, as they had never seen a real human body up close before.

The professor went on to discuss the importance of studying the human body to comprehend how it functions and how diseases can affect it. He also delved into the different organs and tissues, their structures, and functions, and how they work together to maintain the body's overall health. The students were captivated by the complexity of the human body, and many of them were inspired to pursue careers in medicine or related fields.

As the lecture drew to a close, the professor reminded the students that there is still much to learn about human anatomy and that it is a field that is constantly evolving with discoveries and technologies. Overall, it was an enlightening experience for everyone in the room and one that they would not soon forget. The class left the lecture hall feeling more knowledgeable and eager to explore the vast world of human anatomy.

During the lunch break, Ji Hoo and Jan Di settled into their usual table in the cafeteria, surrounded by the lively chatter of other students. They shared a meal from the same plate, as they often did, enjoying each other's company in the bustling atmosphere. Ji Hoo was his usual attentive self, always finding ways to touch Jan Di, even if it was just brushing his thumb over her lips. He would often use the excuse that there was some sauce on her mouth, taking his time to savor the softness of her lips as he pretended to clean it off. Jan Di, although a little shy, secretly enjoyed the attention that Ji Hoo gave her, especially in front of the other students. Some of them found it cute, admiring the bond they shared, while others would roll their eyes, finding it too cheesy and over-the-top. Despite the reactions of others, Ji Hoo and Jan Di continued to enjoy each other's company, cherishing every moment they spent together in the crowded cafeteria.

"So, are you ready for our date this afternoon?" Ji Hoo asked. He knew it wasn't a date but a study session, but going out with her was like a dream come true for him. Jan Di smiled, feeling her heart flutter at the thought of spending more time with him. They had been studying together for weeks now, but every time they were together, it felt like they were on a romantic date. She couldn't help but feel grateful for Ji Hoo's company and support during their studies.

This time, the study session was going to be at his home. Ji Hoo told her he lives with only his grandfather, and when she asked about his parents, he narrated his sad story of how he had lost his parents at the age of five in a car accident. He had said his parents weren't supposed to drive that car and that their main target was his grandfather.

"Do you think your grandfather will like me and Bark?" Jan Di asked as they slowly walked to the doors of a Korean-styled mansion. Ji Hoo smiled and reassured her that his grandfather was very welcoming and loved animals. As they entered the house, Jan Di couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and comfort, surrounded by traditional Korean decor and the aroma of home-cooked food.

"I will show you around," Her dog, Bark, was overly excited about entering a new home, and he released a series of barks that echoed through the halls.

"I'm sorry for Bark's behavior," Jan Di apologized to Ji Hoo.

"It's OK," he replied with a chuckle. "He's just excited to explore." Ji Hoo led Jan Di through the spacious living room, pointing out various family portraits and heirlooms that adorned the walls. They then moved on to the dining room, where a large table was set for dinner.

"Wow, this is beautiful!" Jan Di exclaimed as she took in the elegant table settings and delicious-looking dishes.

"My grandfather is an amazing cook," Ji Hoo said proudly. "He always makes sure we have a feast whenever we have guests over."

As Ji Hoo and Jan Di entered Ji Hoo's house, his grandpa came out of the living room with a broad smile on his face. He saw Jan Di and her furry friend, Bark, and said, "Hey, welcome, come on in! I love dogs; they always add joy to a home."

Jan Di was relieved to feel welcomed, and she smiled back at the old man. Ji Hoo introduced Jan Di to his grandpa, and the old man teased, "I already knew her before you even introduced her to me. The girl that keeps you awake all night long."

Jan Di laughed, feeling comfortable around the old man's humor. He then gave her a warm hug, and she felt grateful for the familiarity.

"It's so nice to finally meet you, Jan Di," he said. "Ji Hoo has been telling me so much about you, and I'm glad to see that he's finally found someone who can handle his late-night shenanigans."

Jan Di blushed, feeling at ease around Ji Hoo's grandpa. She replied, "Oh, he's just exaggerating. But I'm happy to be here and to meet you too."

The old man smiled. "Well, you're always welcome here, and I hope you and Bark enjoy your stay."

Jan Di felt a sudden rush of warmth and acceptance as she blushed, realizing that she had finally found a place where she belonged—a loving family. His grandfather's words had struck a chord in her heart, and she couldn't help but feel grateful for the kindness he had shown her.

As he spoke, Jan Di listened attentively, her eyes fixed on his empathetic gaze. His words were like a balm to her soul, soothing her fears and filling her with hope for a brighter future. She had never felt so welcomed and accepted before, and it was a feeling that she knew she would cherish forever.

The mention of her lack of surname had made Jan Di feel out of place and unwanted, but the grandfather's words had changed everything. He had opened his heart and his home to her, and for that, she was truly grateful.

"Thank you, kind sir," she said, bowing deeply, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

He smiled at her, his eyes twinkling. "Call me grandfather," he said warmly. "We may not share the same blood, but you are my granddaughter in every way that matters."

Jan Di's heart swelled with gratitude as she realized that she had found a new family who truly cared for her. She knew that she was no longer alone and that there were people who loved and accepted her just the way she was.

"Thank you…grandfather," Jan Di said, her voice choked with emotion.

He took her hand and led her through the grand hallways of the mansion, showing her every corner of the house, introducing her to people, and letting her know that she was now part of the family. For Jan Di, it was a homecoming she had never expected, but one that she would always cherish.

As they walked through the house, Ji Hoo's grandfather seemed to be overly attentive to Jan Di, which seemed strange to her. She had received love and attention at the orphanage since no parent wanted to adopt her, but this level of care and attention from a stranger was unfamiliar to her. It made her feel the warmth that even the orphanage couldn't provide.

"We are the only Yoon survivors…" Grandfather began, his voice trailing off as he looked at Jan Di with a mixture of sadness and pride.

Jan Di's curiosity piqued, and she wondered what he meant by "Yoon survivors?" she asked.

"I lost my parents in a car accident 25 years ago." Ji Hoo replied to her.

"Was it an ambush?" she asked, recalling saving a little boy in the car, one of her missing memories, or perhaps a dream from her past life.

"How do you know?" Grandfather asked.

"I'm not born from this realm," was her simple reply. Jan Di's simple reply left Grandfather and Ji Hoo stunned. They exchanged glances, realizing that there was much more to Jan Di than they initially thought. Intrigued, Grandfather urged her to share her story, eager to uncover the truth behind her mysterious origins.

"I'm from another realm. The tribe of the ruler of all," she said. "I lost my memory, and some of it is just vague flashes of a different world. But I do remember being transported here, to this realm, and waking in an orphanage. I must find the seeker who will resolve the feud between mortals and demons and restore balance to both realms."

Jan Di's words hung in the air, leaving Grandfather speechless as he tried to comprehend the weight of her revelation. He realized that her journey was far from ordinary and that she held a destiny that surpassed anything he could have imagined.

"So, when you find the seeker…will you leave?" Ji Hoo asked, his voice filled with sadness and a hint of longing. "Can you bear to leave…me behind?" he asked, taking her hand in his. "After everything we've been through together, can you just walk away?" Ji Hoo's eyes pleaded with Jan Di, searching for any sign that she would choose to stay. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her, especially now that he understood the magnitude of her mission. But deep down, he knew that her duty to restore balance outweighed their personal connection.

Jan Di looked at him, her eyes filled with a mixture of determination and uncertainty. She knew that fulfilling her duty meant leaving everything behind, including the people she had come to care for. But she also understood that restoring balance was essential for the survival of both realms, and she couldn't ignore the call of her destiny.

"I can't bear it." She whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

"Why?" he asked, stepping closer to her, and holding her face, forgetting that his grandfather and her dog, Bark, were watching them. "Why can't you bear it?" he asked, urging her to get her emotions out, which she had been hiding and didn't know how to express. "Tell me, Jan Di?"

"I…" her voice quivered, trying to avoid looking into his eyes as she struggled to find the right words. "It's just… that—"

"That what?" Ji Hoo demanded, leaning closer to her face, his concern evident in his eyes as he gently brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "You can tell me anything, Jan Di. Tell me what is hidden inside your heart." His voice was firm but also filled with tenderness, creating a safe space for her to open up.

"I'm hungry…" She changed the subject, her heart beating fast—very fast for her to be able to articulate her true feelings. The weight of her emotions was overwhelming, and she needed a moment to gather herself before revealing her deepest thoughts.

Ji Hoo ignored how she changed the subject, and instead, he moved closer to her, cornering her against the wall, placing his hand on the side of her face, and trapping her, something he had never done with urgency before with her. Usually, he would just tease her with this action, but now, he was directly gazing into her honey eyes and then at her parted cherry lips, recalling the kiss he gave her this morning.

"Ji Hoo," she whispered as her heart raced, her voice barely audible. She could feel the intensity of his gaze and the warmth of his hand against her face, causing a flurry of emotions to swirl within her.

"Do you need…" he leaned closer, his forehead touching her own, his nose lightly brushing against hers. The air between them crackled with unspoken desire as if the world around them had faded into insignificance and they were lost in their own little bubble, a moment suspended in time. "Do you…" he spoke, lightly licking his lips, his voice sensual, softer than a whisper. "Do you need a little push?"

She felt her heart race and her breath hitch in anticipation. The intensity of his gaze locked her in a trance, making it impossible to resist the magnetic pull between them. Her eyes uncontrollably moved down to his lips, drawn to the subtle movement of his tongue and his moist, full lips that seemed to beckon her closer. She opened her mouth to speak, but no words escaped as his lips and tongue sealed her mouth in a passionate brush.

Ji Hoo could feel her heartbeat, but as soon as she opened her mouth, he immediately slipped his tongue inside her mouth. His hand found her face and waist when there was no resistance from her. Gently tilting her face, his lips continued to explore hers, reminding him of how he had stolen her first kiss in disguise by teaching her how to kiss playfully, and then there was a kiss he gave her today in the morning that held possessiveness when he had seen Jun Pyo trying to make a move on her. And this third kiss awakened the emotions she was trying to avoid, stirring a deep longing within her. As their lips moved in sync, she couldn't help but surrender to the overwhelming desire that had been building between them for so long. It was at that moment that she realized she could no longer deny the love she felt for him, no matter how hard she tried.

"Huh!" Jan Di released a soft moan in his mouth as her hands found their way to his neck, pulling him closer to her. The intensity of their kiss deepened as if they were trying to convey all the unspoken words and feelings that had been bottled up inside them.

His hand began to caress her neck, tracing the delicate curve with his fingertips, and then moved to her chest, feeling the rapid rise and fall of her breath against his palm. With desire, he added pressure to her chest, touching her gently on her bosom, causing her to gasp and arch into his touch. He began to withdraw his tongue from her mouth, but not entirely, as his hand pinched the small flesh of her nipple, eliciting a sharp intake of breath from Jan Di.

The sensation sent waves of pleasure coursing through her body, intensifying the kiss. He then bit her lower lip, gently tugging on it before releasing it with a soft, teasing nibble and flicking his tongue on hers, savoring the taste of their mingling saliva that he sucked into his mouth. To him, this was the sweetest honey he had ever tasted, and he couldn't get enough of it no matter how hard he tried.

Jan Di hardly knew what kind of emotions these were, but she couldn't deny the overwhelming arousal that consumed her. Every touch from him ignited a fire within her, awakening desires she never knew existed. As their bodies pressed closer together, she surrendered herself to the intoxicating passion that swept them both away and left her out of breath, forcing her to pull away and catch her breath.

Jan Di was out of breath due to the intensity of the kiss they just shared; her heart was pounding in her chest, and her body flushed with heat as she tried to regain her composure.

"After this…can you bear to leave me behind?" Ji Hoo asked, his thumb lightly caressing her swollen lips as if asking for more of her taste.

"I… I can't bear the thought of leaving you behind," Jan Di whispered, her voice filled with longing and uncertainty. "But I have a duty to fulfill Ji Hoo."

"Make me your responsibility, then," Ji Hoo pleaded, his eyes searching hers for a glimmer of hope. "Let me be the reason you stay, Jan Di. Let me be the one whom you want to protect the most."

Jan Di's heart ached at Ji Hoo's plea, torn between her duty and her love for him. She knew that choosing him would mean sacrificing everything and giving up the hope of finding the seeker who would resolve the impending crisis between humans and demons, but she also couldn't bear the thought of leaving Ji Hoo behind.

"I heard people say that once you learn how to protect the one you love, you'll find the strength to protect everyone else as well," Ji Hoo whispered, his voice filled with uncertainty. "Maybe, just maybe, choosing love doesn't mean giving up on our mission entirely, right?"

"Ji Hoo," she replied softly.

"Jan Di-ah," he said, kissing her nose gently. "There is a party for Valentine's Day. As a guild president, I decided to organize it to bring everyone together and celebrate love. I thought I could ask you to be my date and attend the party with me. I want to share something with you in front of the student body. What do you say?" He whispered against her lips.

"Your grandfather is waiting; we should go have dinner," she replied, gently slipping out of his arms, a blush spreading across her cheeks.

Yoon Seok Young shared stories of his youth and the traditions that have been passed down through generations. He spoke with passion and nostalgia, painting a vivid picture of his family's heritage, while Jan Di listened intently, fascinated by the rich history and culture of Korea.

As they sat down to enjoy a meal together, Bark curled up at their feet, and Jan Di knew that she had found a new family in this beautiful home. "So…Jan Di-ah, have you said yes to my grandson?" Yoon Seok Young asked with a twinkle in his eye. Jan Di blushed and glanced at Seok Young, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Well, um…not yet," she replied shyly.

"My grandson has suffered a lot, but it seems like when you came into his life, things started to change for the better," Yoon Seok Young continued, his voice filled with warmth and affection. "Every day, he finds a reason to talk about you whenever he is having a conversation with me. It's clear that you've made a deep impact on him."

Jan Di's blush deepened as she listened to Seok Young's heartfelt words. She couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the weight of her decision, knowing how much it meant to both Yoon Seok Young and his grandson. "I will give him my answer over the weekend."

Later, after dinner, Ji Hoo and Jan Di were in the garden in the backyard of the mansion. The garden had a reading section with a well-decorated swing bench that overlooked a beautiful pond filled with colorful koi fish. There was also a small gazebo covered in climbing vines, providing a cozy and secluded spot for conversation. The soft glow of fairy lights illuminated the garden, creating a romantic atmosphere. Ji Hoo couldn't help but feel a sense of serenity as he watched Jan Di's eyes light up with joy and wonder at the enchanting surroundings.

Jan Di took a seat on the swing bench, her mind still consumed with thoughts of Yoon Seok Young and his grandson. Ji Hoo joined her, sensing her inner turmoil. "Jan Di, whatever decision you make, I know it will be the right one," he said softly, offering her a reassuring smile. "But for now, let's do some studying to take your mind off things. I brought some books with me that might help us review for our upcoming presentation."

Jan Di nodded gratefully, appreciating Ji Hoo's support. As they delved into their studies, the peaceful ambiance of the garden provided a much-needed respite from the complexities of their personal lives.

Ji Hoo took hold of the big book titled "Anatomy" and began the review session by elaborating on the components and organization of the human body. Jan Di pulled out her notebook and listened intently as Ji Hoo delved into the intricacies of the skeletal system. He explained the different types of bones—long, short, flat, and irregular—and their respective functions. He further went on to emphasize the importance of maintaining bone health through proper nutrition and exercise and how neglecting it could lead to several ailments, such as osteoporosis and arthritis.

Jan Di was fascinated by the insights provided by Ji Hoo. It was not only helping her prepare for their presentation but also deepening her understanding of the human body. The review session proved to be incredibly informative and detailed, covering every aspect of the skeletal system. Ji Hoo's teaching style was engaging and effective, and Jan Di was grateful for the opportunity to learn from him.

That was it. I hope you can forgive me for delaying this chapter
