Sorry for the wait everyone, much to write and very little time to do it in. Now let's start Chapter 6.
Chapter 6
Ride Off Into The Robot Ship
After waking back to Kaitzur, with Dyanna back in her Pokeball, they ran into one of the men that asked them to save the chief. "Ah! We've been waiting for you! You have our deepest gratitude for rescuing the Chief!" The man said to everyone.
"It was no walk in the park, that's for sure." Luke said to the man. "Luke was so Heroic!" Anise said to Luke. "heh heh. Was I really that good?" Luke asked everyone. "Except for getting the kidnapped part." Tear said Luke. "Shut up!" Luke said to Tear. "Besides, Diaz and Dyanna did most of the work." Whina said to Luke.
"Oracle Knights Commandant Dorain General Van grants gave me a message for you. Dorian General Grant is currently meeting with Lieutenant general Almandine, commander of the Kaitzur area. He would like you to come to the meeting hall later, at your convenience. As for the ship, repairs are proceeding smoothly." The man said to everyone.
"Keep up the good work." Luke said to the man. "Thank you. I'll get back to the repairs now!" The man said to Luke, before walking away. "Where do they hold meetings?" Luke asked everyone. "There should be a guest room down by the port." Guy said to Luke.
"Okay. Let's go check it out later." Luke said to everyone. "No, let's go now. After all, we're doing nothing." Diaz said to Luke, as he grabbed the back of Luke's shirt, and started to pull Luke in the direction of the guest room, with everyone following them.
Soon they all entered the guest room, their Van was talking to a man in a black military uniform, with short military cut black hair, and a neatly trimmed mustache and beard. "I guess this is Count Almandine." Diaz said to everyone, getting the man's attention.
"Ah, Luke, it's good to see you again." Count Almandine said to Luke, as he noticed Luke, surprising Luke. "You don't remember me? I visited your mansion in Baticul once when you were young. I'm Almandine." Count Almandine said to Luke.
"Sorry, don't remember you." Luke said to Count Almandine. "Oh, well. You were still a small boy at the time." Count Almandine said to Luke. "Fon Master, I've informed Count Almandine about the incident with Arietta." Van said to Ion. "Please forgive my servant's mistakes." Ion asked Count Almandine.
"Mistakes are made by accidents. Arietta knew what she was doing and committed crimes, not mistakes." Diaz said to Ion. "It's fine. But I hope I can expect Daath to deal with the matter in good faith." Count Almandine said to Ion.
"Say, could you send a message to my father?" Luke asked Count Almandine. "A message? If we use a carrier pigeon, I believe we could get a message there before you arrive, but…?" Count Almandine said to Luke, but interrupted by Luke.
"That's fine. Tell him I'm bringing Fon Master Ion and Colonel Jade Curtiss of Malkuth, and that-" Luke said to Count Almandine, but was interrupted by Jade. "Luke. Your lack of prudence is truly astounding." Jade said to Luke.
"Colonel Curtiss… You mean to say this is jade the Necromancer?" Count Almandine asked Jade. "That's correct. My deepest apologies for not introducing myself. I carry a letter of peace on behalf of His Majesty, Peony the Ninth, Emperor of Malkuth." Jade said to Count Almandine.
"Your entourage is smaller than I would expect." Count Almandine said to Jade. "We suffered a great deal of interference. I hope you can forgive us." Jade said to Count Almandine. "These guys saved me. Put in a good word for them." Luke said to Count Almandine.
"All right. I'll send a carrier pigeon to the mainland at once. The ship will be ready to leave by tomorrow, so please get some rest here in port tonight." Count Almandine said to Luke. "Thank you." Ion said to Count Almandine, before they went to the inn for the night.
The next morning, Count Almandine saw everyone off. "Thank you for your assistance." Ion said to Count Almandine, as they all bored the ship. "Have a safe journey!" Count Almandine said to them, as the ship started to leave.
The ship ride was a day trip, so while at Sea Diaz took all the Pokemon to try and have them learn Tera Blast from Dyanna, and everyone else scattered around the ship.
And in the morning they almost reached Chesedonia, Luke was walking around and got a headache and dropped to his knees. 'Not again.' Luke thought as he placed a hand on his head. 'Awaken… hurry… heed my voice…' a voice said in Luke's head. "Oww!" Luke said, as the headache faded away.
That's when a soldier walked into the room. "Master Luke, Dorian General Grants wishes to see you. He asks that you wait on the deck." The Soldier said to Luke. "Master Van? Okay." Luke said to the man, before he left the room.
While walking, Luke ran into Guy. "Hey Luke, I gotta question for you. Do you remember when the two of us first met?" Guy asked Luke. "I told you, I don't remember any of that. That was before I was kidnapped." Luke said to Guy.
"Yeah. You're right. I mean, you're completely different." Guy said to Luke. "Huh?" Luke asked Guy. "Ah, I'm just glad you're you." Guy said to Luke, before walking away.
Then Luke ran into Jade. "What would you do if you weren't really you?" Jade asked Luke, not looking at Luke. "Huh? What are you talking about?" Luke asked Jade. "Never mind… It was a stupid question. Forget I said anything." Jade said to Luke, before leaving.
Luke then went outside, and ran into Ion, Anise, and Whina, who were looking at the sea. Luke walked up to Ion first. "I hope what's happened won't incur King Ingorbert's disfavor and cause negotiations to fall through." Ion said to Luke.
"Don't worry. I'll explain everything to my uncle. I'll ask Father and Mother to help, too." Luke said to Ion. "That's right, your mother is His Majesty's younger sister." Ion said to Luke. "Yep. So relax." Luke said to Ion, putting his hands on his hips, before walking up to Anise.
"Can I ask you a weird question?" Anise asked Luke. "What?" Luke asked Anise. "What do you think of Tear?" Anise asked Luke. "Don't ask weird stuff like that! I could care less about her." Luke said to Anise, before walking away in a huff.
Then Luke walked up to Whina. "Have you ever Baticul before?" Luke asked Whina. "No, I make it a point to avoid that city." Whina said to Luke. "Why is it a pretty big city full of a lot of stuff?" Luke said to Whina. "Not like you know. You never leave your house." Whina said to Luke. This made Luke mad, and he walked away.
Soon Luke found Diaz, watching the Pokemon, as they looked out to the sea, and each of them trying to force something out of their mouths, all the while, Dyanna was yelling at them.
"Why does Dyanna sound so mad?" Luke asked Diaz. "She's not mad. She's trying to teach them Tera Blast as fast as she can." Diaz said to Luke. "Why?" Luke asked Diaz. "Because with my belt's ability to change Tera Types, learning a move that will take advantage of that will be a benefit to all of them." Diaz said to Luke.
"Maybe, but we have Master Van with us now. So there's no need to train." Luke said to Diaz. "Spoken like a truth brat. So used to someone else doing everything for you that you don't see the value in hard work or the idea of improving your weak point." Daiz said to Luke. "Whatever." Luke said to Diaz, before walking away.
Then Luke reached the back of the ship and found Tear. "Hey Tear. I have asked you something. I remember you talking about "Seventh Fonists" before. What does that mean, anyway?" Luke asked Tear. "Didn't your tutors teach you?" Tear asked Luke, placing a hand on her head.
"How should I know? I don't remember!" Luke said to Tear. "But you lost your memory seven years ago, right? Haven't you studied since then?" Tear asked Luke. "I had a lot of other things I had to learn. Like my parents' faces." Luke said to Tear, looking at the sea.
This made Tear think for a second, before turning away from Luke. "All matter contains fonons- basic particles of sound. Fonons are divided into six elements." Tear said to Luke, still not looking at him. "What, you decided to explain after all?" Luke asked Tear.
"Combining fonons with memory particles from the planet's core yields an enormous amount of energy. A device was made to supply fuel to the world by passing those particles through the fon belt. That's what's known as the Planet Storm." Tear said to Luke, as she took a few steps away from him.
"Sounds complicated. So?" Luke asked Tear. "The Planet Storm caused a mutation in the six fonon elements and the memory particles. And that was the birth of Seventh Fonon. Those who use it to perform fonic artes are called Seventh Fonists." Tear said to Luke, crossing her arm, and still not looking at Luke.
"I don't know what to make out of that story. But I'm no fonist." Luke said to tear, before sitting down. "But you caused a hyperresonance with me. You're capable of using the Seventh Fonon. That's something you're born with." Tear said to Luke. "Now that you mentioned it, Jade can't use the Seventh Fonon." Luke said to Tear.
"Right. There are very few Seventh Fonists. Scorers- those who read the Score- and healers are both Seventh Fonists." Tear said to Luke. "So, basically, it means special fonists who use a special fonon." Luke said to Tear. "I'm sorry." Tear said to Luke, finally turning to Luke.
"Huh? What's with you all of a sudden?" Luke asked Tear, as he stood up. "I don't think I've been taking your memory loss very seriously. I've been unkind to you this whole time. I'm ashamed of myself." Tear said to Luke. "I- it's okay, it's not really a…" Luke said to Tear, rubbing his head. "I'm really sorry." Tear said to Luke, before running away.
Not long after Tear left, did Luke get that headache again. Then his body moved on its own as faint lights moved around him. 'My body's moving on its own! Why am I moving?' Luke said, as he turned to the sea and held out his hands.
'I have reached you.' a voice said in Luke's mind. "Wh-who the heck are you?!" Luke asked out loud. 'Show me your power… The same power as mine.' the voice said to Luke, as Luke started to make a large amount of white energy for a few seconds.
"Are you the one controlling me?! What the hell are you?! I knew I wasn't just hearing things." Luke said. That's when Van walked onto the deck and noticed Luke generating energy.
"Wh-what's going on?! No! Stop!" Luke said, as Van ran up to Luke and grabbed Luke. "Luke! Calm down! Calm down. Take a deep breath." Van said to Luke. "That's it. Now, focus your mind on the tips of your fingers. Luke, listen to my voice. Now, relax, just like that…" Van said to Luke, before whispering something into Luke's ear.
This made Luke calm down. "What… what happened to me." Luke asked Van, as he sat down. "I would presume a hyperresonance occurred." Van said to Luke. "A hyperresonance? You mean that thing that blew us to Tataroo Valley?" Luke asked Van. "Yes, that was also the power of hyperresonance, though in an incomplete form." Van said to Luke, as Luke stood up.
"Master What's happening to me?" Luke asked Van, as he looked at the sea. Van then moved to Luke's left side. "Haven't you ever wondered about your kidnapping and the way you've been forbidden to leave the mansion?" Van asked Luke.
"That's because, you know, my father's worried about me." Luke said to Van. "No. It's to keep you- the only person in the world who can cause a hyperresonance on his own- on a short leash here in Kimlasca." Van said to Luke.
"Wait, Master, hold on. I don't understand what you're saying. Just what is "hyperresonance," anyway?" Luke asked Van, looking at Van. "A hyperresonance is a power that occurs when two Seventh Fonons interact. It can destroy and reform any matter. Normally, it occurs only under special conditions, with two Seventh Fonists present." Van said to Luke, not looking at Luke.
"But I can cause it by myself? Like what just happened?" Luke asked Van, before turning to the sea. "Yes. With training, you could control it at will. It would be useful in war. Your father and the King both know that. That's why Malkuth wanted you." Van said to Luke, as he took a couple steps away from Luke.
"Are you saying I've been held captive in my own home as a weapon?! Wiat, do they plan to keep me this way my whole life?!" Luke asked Van, as he turned to Van, and Van turned to him.
"Well, your engagement to Princess Natalia means your holding cell will likely change to the castle." Van said to Luke. "I refuse to accept that! Yeah, it can be annoying outside, but staying trapped in my home, just to be used in some war?" Luke asked Van, shutting his eyes.
"Calm down, Luke. First, we avert the war. Then, we let everyone know of that success. If we do that, it will establish your status as a hero who preserved the peace. At the very least, you should be set free from your unfair imprisonment." Van said to Luke, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"You think so? You really think so, Master?" Luke asked Van, looking at Van. "Don't worry. Have confidence in yourself. You've been chosen. The power of hyperresonance will make you a hero." Van said to Luke. "A hero… Me, a hero." Luke said, as the ship's horn started to blow.
"Looks like we've arrived. Here we'll change ships for one headed to Baticul. Cheer up Luke. A sullen face isn't becoming of a future hero." Van said to Luke. "Right." Luke said to Van.
Soon the ship docked in a desert-like city with all the buildings being one floor, and many merchant stalls all over the city. As they got off the ship, they noticed Arietta and her Liger being rolling out of the ship in a massive cage.
"I'll bid you farewell here. I have to turn Arietta over to the inspector in Daath." Van said to everyone. "What? I want you to come with us!" Luke said to Van. "I'll head for Baticul later. Don't be selfish, Luke." Van said to Luke.
"But." Luke said to van but was interrupted by Van. "The ship leaves port from the Kimlascan side. Inquire at the Kimlascan consulate. I'll see you again in Baticul. Tear, please look after Luke for me." Van said to Luke and Tear. "Oh… R-right!" Tear said to Van, before Van left everyone.
Then Mieu started to run around a little. "Master, it's a new city! It's full of sand!" Mieu said to Luke, while jumping up and down. "Shut up, Thing!" Luke said to Mieu. that's when Diaz hit Luke on the back of the head. "Come on, let's get going." Diaz said to everyone, as they started to move.
After walking around for a bit, they ran into a woman with messy long pink hair, white skin, pink eyes, and wearing a mature dark pink pirate outfit.
"Oh, my, what's a fine gentleman like you doing in a place like this?" The woman asked Luke, as she latched onto him, surprising Luke, and making Anise mad. "Huh? Wh-what do you want?" Luke asked the woman. "Come, on. You have such a pretty face. Don't ruin it by frowning like that." The woman said to Luke.
"Okay lady, get off him." Daiz said to the woman, as he pulled the woman off Luke. "Rude. didn't your mother not teach you how to treat a lady?" The woman asked Luke. "When it's a stranger, latching onto my… Well I was going to say friend, but Luke isn't one. Then I think she would have been okay with it." Daiz said to the woman.
"Well you can call me Noir. There, now we're not strangers. And I can't help it if your friend here is quite the looker." the woman said to Diaz, as she clung to Luke again.
"Oh, no… Some old lady is after my Luke!" Anise said, as she shook her head around, but the committee of old lady got Noir mad. "Oh, my, pardon me, little girl. I didn't mean to interfere. I'll be on my way." Noir said to Anise, as she let go of Luke and started to walk away.
But Tear and Diaz got in her way. "Stop." Tear said to Noir. "Yeah, we need to wait a second." Diaz said to Noir. "Hmm?" Noir asked them. "Return what you stole." Tear said to Noir. "Luke check your pockets." Diaz said to Luke.
Luke then dug around his pockets. "Huh? Hey! My wallet's gone!" Luke said to everyone. (You have a wallet? I thought you were a rich freeloader and didn't have a wallet.) Miles said to Luke. "I feel like Miles insulted me." Luke said to Diaz. "Sounds like it." Diaz said to Luke.
"Back on topic, give Luke his wallet back." Diaz said to Noir. "Why do you think I have it?" Noir asked Diaz, as she turned away from him. "Well looking away from me isn't helping your case. Plus how you circled him and clung to him meant you were after something. And that fact that you're giving up on him so willingly means you weren't after Luke, so you must have been after something in his pockets." Diaz said to Noir. "Humph, So, you're not all chumps, huh?" Noir asked Diaz, still not looking at him.
"York! Take care of this!" Noir said, as everyone noticed, a man with a clean cut orange hair, an eye patch over his right eye, a green trench coat, white gloves and pants, a green pirate hat on his head, a white ruff around his neck, and a mouse on the top of his head.
"Urushi, we're outta here!" Noir said, as everyone noticed a smaller round man with no hair but a big brown beard, wearing a yellow and black checkered vest, with a green shirt under it, black pants, black pants, a green top hat with a card stuck in it, and a pink diamond mark over his left eye.
Then Noir tossed Luke's wallet to York. "Miles." Diaz said to Miles. (On it.) Miles said, as he lunged at York, and hit York in the back, forcing York to the ground. Tear ten moved to York and pointed a knife at his throat.
"Don't move. If you return what you stole, Miles will release you unharmed. If not, he will eat you." Tear said to York. (Why did you have to say that? I don't like killing, and eating a human, what a disgusting idea." Miles said to Tear, as York handed Tear the wallet.
Then Miles got off York, and York took off running. York then ran up to the roof of a building, where Noir and Urushi were waiting for them. "You've got some guys making enemies of the Dark Wings. You haven't heard the last of us!" York said to everyone, before they striked a pose and left.
"They're the Dark Wings?! If I'd known that, I'd have cut them to pieces!" Luke said to everyone. "Yes, after all, you did a great job of protecting your wallet." Tear said to Luke, as she and Miles walked back to everyone. This made Luke go quiet.
"By the way, Colonel, why did you just stand by and watch as she did that?" Tear asked Jade. "Oh no, you got me. It looked like it would be so amusing." Jade said to Tear. "What the?! You jerk!" Luke said to Jade. "Forget about the Dark Wings for now. Let's just get to the ship." Diaz said to everyone.
"But before that, I would like to stop by the Manor of Astor." Jade said to Diaz. "Why?" Diaz asked Jade. "I would like to get the fon disc we got from the Coral Castle analyzed. It might help us figure out what's going on with the God Generals." Jade said to Diaz.
"I have to agree, at the very least it'll tell us what they were doing with you back at the Coral Castle." Tear said to Diaz. "Fine. Let's just make it quick, it's never a good idea to stay in one place for a long time when you're being chased." Diaz said to everyone, as they started to walk.
After a bit of walking, everyone made it to a large palace-like building with the only plant life in the area around it. There the guards saw Ion and let everyone in, and even escorted them to Astor office, along the way seeing many fancy things.
There was a small man with skin, a large pink noise and a long straight mustache that went left to right, wearing a pink cap with a large tap part going down the middle, a pink sleeveless vest with a small bag in the front middle of it, puffy tan pants with a white part around the thighs.
"I guess you must be Astor." Diaz said to the man. "Indeed I am." The man said to Diaz, as he noticed Ion. "Oh, my. Fon Master Ion! If only you'd let me know you were coming, I'd have prepared a grand welcome for you." Astor said to Ion. "It's fine. We're trying to keep a low profile." Ion said to Astor.
"Besides we're here on business." Whina said to Astor. "And what business is that?" Astor asked everyone. "A mansion of this size probably has a fon disc analyzer or two." Guy said to Astor. "I see you have an eye for luxury. Yes, my home does in fact have an analyzer." Astor said to Guy.
"Great. Fon Master, would you be so kind as to request that they analyze that fon disc?" Jade asked Ion. "Would you do that for us?" Ion asked Astor. "Name it. The Chesedonia Merchants' Guild is always at your service, Fon Master." Astor said to Ion. "We want to read the data from this fon disc." Guy asked Astor, pulling out the disc he got from Sync.
"Leave it to me. You're there!" Astor said, before capping a hand, making a servant come to him. "Analyze that fon disc and deliver the results to him." Astor said to the man. "Yes, sir." The man said to Astor, bowing to Astor. The man walked to Guy. "Thank you." Guy said to the man, as handed the man the disc. The man then walked away.
"Ion, you know this guy?" Luke asked Ion. "It's thanks to the Fon Master that we were able to establish this place of exchange on the border." Astor said to Luke. "The Merchants' Guild contributes large amounts of money to Daath. In return, the Order enforces the recognition of Chesedonia as an autonomous state." Tear said to Luke.
"You must be really rich, Astor! I can't handle it! Wow, I wish I lived in a place like this!" Anise said to Astor, getting excited. (Gold digger.) Miles said to Anise.
A couple minutes later, the man returned with the disc and a couple large folders. "Here are the results of the analysis, sir." The man said to Guy. "Thanks." Guy said, as he took the disc and folders. "That's a lot." Luke said to everyone. "Just what did they get off us?" Diaz asked everyone.
"I guess we'll read them on the ship." Guy said to everyone. "Then let's be going. Thank you for your assistance." Jade said to Aster. "Anytime you need something, please don't hesitate to let me know." Astor said to Jade before laughing a little.
They then left Astor's mansion, and started to walk around the city. That's when they ran into a knight. "Ah, here you are. The ship is ready. Please come to the Kimlasca-side port-." The knight said to everyone, but was interrupted by Tear.
"Look out!" Tear said to Guy, as Sync came running out of nowhere and hit Guy's arm, making Guy drop the disc and folders, fall to the ground, and for a split second a violet red mark appeared on Guy's arm.
During the fall, Sync grabbed the disc, but Guy still had the folders. "Hand those over!" Sync said to Guy, before charging at Guy. (Sand Attack!) Lokej said, as he slammed his leek into the ground and knocked some sand into Sync mask, making Sync stop and try shaking the sand out of his mask.
"We shouldn't cause a scene here. To the ship!" Jade said to everyone, as everyone started to move to the ship. "They just don't give up!" Luke said to everyone. "You're not getting away!" Sync said to them, as he chased after them.
"I won't be so sure." Diaz said Sync, as he put the Ignition Key into the slot, with the dark blue side facing him. "WATER!" A techno voice said from the belt. Diaz then hit the button This caused the handle to pop out of the slot, minus the crystal, and made the tire spin clockwise, with the tire glowing dark blue. This made Miles' tire sack glow dark blue, and a giant dark blue crystal tire popped out of Miles' throat.
The tire rolled forward a little before turning around heading for Diaz. But Diaz jumped to the side at the last second, making the tire go past him, and hit Sync, knocking Sync back and onto the ground before turning around and going after Diaz. Sync then got up and was mad, as he chased after them.
Soon everyone ran down some stairs and to the harbor. "Master Luke, Departure preparations are complete." a knight said to Luke, as everyone ran up to him. "Get this ship moving! Now!" Luke said to the knight. "Excuse me?" The knight asked Luke. "We're being chased! Hurry!" Luke said to the knight, as everyone ran past him. "Right." The knight said, as he ran after the others.
"I'll buy you some time." Diaz said to everyone, as he and Miles stopped. Then the crystal tire caught up to Diaz.
"TERASTALLIZING!" Diaz yelled, as the tire hit him and caused the tire to fall apart. This let out a dark blue pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to Diaz's body. "IRON BUNDLE." A techno voice said, from the belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Diaz his Iron Bundle form.
"You know what they say. Don't run when there's ice on the ground." Diaz said, as he used his blaster to freeze the ground from the bottom of the stairs to the water, leaving a sheet of ice. (Why do you have to say such childish one liners?) Miles said to Daiz.
Then the ship's engine started to warm up. "We'll talk about it later. Let's go!" Diaz said to Miles, as he hopped onto Miles' back. (Okay.) Miles said, as he ran to the ship, and jumped up and onto the deck.
That's when Sync started to run down the stairs, and noticed Diaz waving goodbye to him. This made Sync mad, and he ran faster. But his focus was on Diaz, and he didn't see the ice on the ground, before he stepped on it. This caused Sync to slip on the ice, losing balance, and slip all the way down the path and into the water.
Then the ship sailed away, as Sync started to pull himself out of the water. "Ow! They got away!" Sync said, as he slammed his fist into the dock, before finishing pulling himself out of the water. Then Sync could hear Dist laughing at him from above.
"Looks like you blew this one, Sync!" Dist said to Sync, as he landed on the ground. "It's not my fault. That stupid Violet Iron got in my way." Sync said to Dist.
"Don't worry about him. My latest creations will take care of him, and if not then my other latest inventions will. And when that's done. I will use my ultra super hyper high-grade fonic technology, I'll flay that conniving, long-haired, four-eyed-." Dist said to Sync, but stopped talking when he noticed Sync walking away.
"Stop! Stop! Come back! I'm not done talking!" Dist said to Sync. "I'm going to go dry off. Oh, and I marked the one named Guy with a curse slot. I can make him my puppet at any time. As for you, make sure you properly dispose of those documents from the fomicry project. I don't think there's any data about Asch's idea on it, but it's better to be safe than sorry." Sync said to Dist, as he walked away.
"Now, who do you think you are? Just you wait! I'm putting this down in my revenge journal!" Dist said to himself, as he got made. "Now then, what should I use? I would love to use them and see them in action, but Asch is still training them for action. Guess I'll have to bring in my latest invention." Dist said, thinking out loud.
While the ship was out on sea, everyone was in one of the cabins looking at the documents, with Diaz back in his normal form. "If we made it this far, we should be in the clear." Luke said to everyone. "I'll say where in the clear when we reach Baticul." Diaz said to everyone.
"Great! I lost part of the documents when Sync attacked." Guy said, getting everyone's attention. "Let me see them." Jade said to Guy. Guy then handed Jade the folders, and walked to a spot on the wall right next to the door.
Jade looked at documents, and noticed a couple pages were missing. Jade then read everything at a quick pace. "Looks like isofon research. 3.1415926553588979323846… this is Lorelei's fonon frequency." Jade said to everyone.
"Lorelei? Isofons? "Fonon frequencies"? What the heck are you talking about?" Luke asked everyone. "Yeah, care to translate for the out of towner and the idiot?" Diaz asked everyone. "There's no need to call yourself an idiot Diaz." Luke said to Diaz. "I meant you, you idiot!" Diaz said to Luke. "What did you call me!" Luke said to Diaz, causing them both to trade mean looks with each other.
"Knock it off both of you." Tear said to them, as she hit them on the back of their head, making them stop. "Lorelei is the name for the aggregate sentience of the Seventh Fonon." Tear said to Luke and Diaz.
"When a certain amount of a particular fonon gathers together, it becomes sentient. Control that, and you can perform high- level fonic artes." Anise said to Luke and Diaz. "Each one has a name. First Fonon sentence is called "Shadow", the Sixth is called "Rem", and so on." Guy said to Luke and Diaz.
"Lorelei still hasn't been observed. Its existence is hypothetical." Jade said to Luke and Diaz. "Huh… How come all of you know this stuff?" Luke asked everyone. "Well… it's actually common knowledge." Guy said to Luke. "It's okay, Luke. You can't help it. Just keep learning from here on and you'll be fine." Tear said to Luke.
"Is it just me… or are you being a lot nicer to Luke all of a sudden?" Anise asked Tear. "I-I don't know what you mean." Tear said to Anise. "Can we get back on topic?" Diaz asked everyone.
"Right. All matter emits a fonon frequency. They're like fingerprints; no two frequencies are the same. Isofons are two entities that have the exact same fonon frequency. Of course they don't exist unless artificially created." Tear said to Luke and Diaz.
"Of course, if isofons were common, we'd have our hands full with hyperresonances all over the place. Isofon research holds potential for weapons development, so the military has their eye on it." Jade said to Luke and Diaz.
"That "fomicry" technology they worked on a long time ago can make isofons, right?" Anise asked Jade. But Jade and Ion looked away from Anise and went quiet. "What's fomicry?" Diaz asked everyone. "Fomicry is like a copy machine, right?" Guy asked Jade.
"No, replicas created through fomicry are mere imitations. A replica may look identical, but it's fonon frequency is different. One can't produce isofons that way." Jade said to Guy. "Sounds like mad and dangerous science to me." Diaz said to Jade.
"Gah! What the heck are you all talking about?! Enough of this complicated stuff. Let's just relax until-." Luke said to everyone, but was interrupted when a knight came running into the room.
"Emergency! A large number of monsters and an unidentified fontech signature approaching from Chesedonia." the knight said to everyone. That's when Oracle Knights can charge into the room.
"Oh, no! They're here!" Tear said to everyone. "I got this." Diaz said, as he spun the tire on his belt, making a giant purple crystal tire popped out of Miles' throat. "TERASTALLIZING!" Diaz yelled, as the tire hit him and caused the tire to fall apart. VIOLET IRON!" A techno voice said, from the belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Diaz in his Violet Iron form.
Diaz then lunged at the Oracle Knights. The Oracle Knights tried to slash Diaz, but he dodged their attack. Then Diaz grabbed one of the Oracle Knights by the arm, and forced him into the wall, knocking him out.
Then the other Oracle Knight tried to jam his blade into Diaz. But Diaz dodged the attack, and hit the sword away with the back of his wrist. Then Diaz kicked the Oracle Knight into the wall, knocking him out.
"That takes care of them. But there will be more." Diaz said to everyone. "Can we assume their goal is to stop Ion and the letter from reaching Kimlasca?" Tear asked everyone. "You don't suppose they'd try to just sink the whole ship, do you?" Guy asked everyone.
"Master, what do we do?! I can't swim." Mieu said to Luke. "Shut up and drown." Luke said, as he kicked Meiu into Whina's arm. That's when Miles whipped his tail into the back of Luke's legs, knocking Luke to the floor.
"Unless you fall overboard, you won't have to swim Mieu." Whina said to Mieu. "She's right. If they wanted to sink us, they wouldn't come storming aboard." Jade said to everyone.
"Then they're trying to take it over!" Anise said to everyone. "Just like what they did with the Tartarus, only this time we can just jump out and run away from them." Diaz said to everyone.
Guy then sighed. "So then I guess we have to secure the bridge before they do, huh?" Guy asked everyone. "Exactly." Jade said to Guy. "Why do those Oracle guys want to start a war so badly?" What a pain." Luke asked everyone. "There's no time for complaints. Let's go." Jade said to Luke, as they started to move around the ship.
They soon made their way to the back of the ship after fighting threw a handful of Oracle Knights and beasts along the way. "Where the heck is their leader? Let's hurry up and finish this." Luke said to everyone.
That's when they heard Dist laughing like a crazy person, and noticed him flying above them. "Listen, you ignorant savages, and you shall hear my beautiful name. I am the most graceful member of the Six God-Generals, the one and only, Dist the-" Dist said to everyone, but was interrupted by Diaz shooting an electric bolt into Dist chair, short circuiting the chair and making Dist fall out of the chair and crash onto the deck, then his chair landed right on top of him, and Dist groaning.
"Well that takes care of him." Diaz said to everyone. "Oh, how dare you ruin my moment. Do you know who I am?" Dist asked Diaz, as he got up, put his chair up like normal, and sat in it. "You're Dist the Runny." Jade said to Dist.
"The Rose R-O-S-E, rose! Dist the Rose!" Dist said to Jade. "You mean Dist the Reaper." Anise said to Dist. "Silence! I refuse to accept that name! It's rose! ROSE!" Dist said to everyone, stomping his foot.
"I think Rose is something only you call yourself. And Reaper comes from the fact you work with those crazy God-Generals. But I'm most curious about why Jade called him Runny? Sounds like a name you give someone you know to annoy him." Diaz said to everyone, as everyone looked at Jade. "Yeah, do you know him?" Luke asked Jade.
"I, the genius Dist, once counted that duplicitous snake Jade amongst my friends." Dist said to everyone. "Which Jade is that? I don't know any Jade with such poor taste in friends." Jade said to Dist.
"What did you say?!" Dist asked Jade. "Ah ah, careful now, you know how your nose runs when you get mad." Jade said to Dist. (That would explain the Runny nickname.) Susu 3 said to everyone, as Dist got mad. "No it doesn't!" Dist said to everyone, as his nose started to run a little. "You're doing it right now." Diaz said to Dist, as Luke and Guy squatted down. This just got Dist madder, and he started to fix his chair.
"This is stupid." Luke said to Guy. "They're off in their own little world." Guy said to Luke. (Could you two talk about this later?) Charcadet asked them.
"Enough of this. Now, hand over the Fon disc data!" Dist said to everyone, as he got his chair working and floating again. "You mean this?" Jade asked Dist, as he pulled out folders.
Then Dist chair moved at high speed and swiped the folders out of Jade's hands, surprising everyone, as he laughed. "How careless, Jade!" Dist said to Jade. "You can have them. I've already memorized their contents." Jade said to Dist. "Grrrrrrrrrrr! I'm being mocked by savages!" Dist said to everyone.
"You really need to come down from that high and mighty perch you gave yourself." Diaz said to Dist, as he shot another electric bolt into Dist's chair, and making him crash onto the deck again, only this time his chair landed straight up, and Dist fell out of his chair hitting the deck face first.
"That's it. When you taste the pain of my supper ultra gorgeous artes, you'll regret what you've done!" Dist said to everyone, as he got back into his chair, and snapped his fingers.
That's when a robot appeared. It was massive with a lot of steam pumps on it, a thin metal pipe connecting it to a thin and fragile bod, it had two s shaped bendable short legs with gears for feet, arms that were too large for its body making them laying on the ground, with the end of one arms being a disc with three massive spikes spinning like a drill, and the end of the other arm being four massive pincers.
"Supper ultra gorgeous artes? This is just a robot, a poorly made one at that." Diaz said to Dist. "Shut up! Get them!" Dist said to Diaz and the robot, as he started to work on his chair.
The Robot then tried to grab Diaz with his pincers, but Diaz jumped back, dodging the pincers. Then the Robot tried to run his drill into Diaz, but Diaz jumped back and the drill went into the deck.
"Okay it's more mobile than it looks. Let's try and slow it down." Diaz said as he put the Ignition Key into the slot, with the dark blue side facing him. "Ice!" A techno voice said from the belt. Diaz then hit the button This caused the handle to pop out of the slot, minus the crystal, and made the tire spin clockwise, with the tire glowing light blue. This made Miles' tire sack glow light blue, and a giant light blue crystal tire popped out of Miles' throat. Then the tired rolled straight to Diaz.
"TERASTALLIZING!" Diaz yelled, as the tire hit him and caused the tire to fall apart. This let out a dark blue pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to Diaz's body. "IRON BUNDLE." A techno voice said, from the belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Diaz his Iron Bundle form.
"Let's see how mobile you are after this." Diaz said to the Robot, as he fired bolts of water from his blaster. Then Diaz fired a burst of cold from his sprayer. This caused ice to form on the Robot, and freeze it in place.
"Miles, now use Dragon Rush." Diaz said to Miles. (On it.) Miles said to Diaz, as he encased himself in purple energy with wings and a dragon head formed the energy around his head and the back of front legs. Miles then lunged into the Robot, breaking the ice, and knocking it back to the edge of the ship. "It's tougher than it looks." Diaz said to everyone.
Then the Robot charged at Miles and tried to smash him. "Jataayu use Reflect." Ion said to Jataayu. (On it.) Jataayu said, as his eyes glowed pink and a pink glass wall appeared above Miles, blocking the Robot's arms, but was slowly breaking. But by the time it broke, Miles had already jumped back and out of the way.
"Susu 1, 2, 3, distract that bot with Quick Attack." Jade said to the Susu's as he started to get ready to cast a spell. (Okay.) The Susu's said, as they moved around the Robot at high speed, making the Robot turn its head all over the place. That's when Jade cast a lighting spell, hitting the Robot, and making it go crazy as the electricity traveled through it.
"Inesa/Liran use Round." Whina and Tear said to Inesa and Liran. (With pleasure.) Inesa and Liran said, as Liran let out a red sonic wave, and Inesa let out a blue sonic wave. "Fie help them with Gust." Anise said to Fie. (Sure.) Fie said, as he flapped his wings, firing a gust of wind at the Robot.
The two sonic waves and the gust of wind, hit the Robot, and forced the Robot back. But the Robot flipped its arm around its body, and pinned to the deck, stopping it from moving.
But once the soundwaves and wind stopped, the Robot flipped its arm around, and moved at everyone. "Charcadet, stop that thing with Fire Spin." Luke said to Charcadet. (I was already planning to do that.) Charcadet said to Luke, as he fired a steam of fire that turned into a spiral around the Robot, making the Robot stop.
"Okay Lokej, tray and break that thing with Brutal Swing." Guy said to Lokej. (I think I know what you're thinking.) Lokej said, as his leek glowed black. Then Lokej started to spin around, swinging his leek wildly. As Lokej got closer, the flames from the Fire Spin set the leek on fire a little, and then smacked the Robot with his Leek knocking the Robot back and knocked it down.
But then the Robot used its arms to get itself back up. "We need to take care of those arms if we want to keep it down." Whina said to everyone. "Say no more. I'll take care of them." Diaz said, as he pulled out Iron Hands Ignition Key.
Diaz then put the Ignition Key into the slot, with the brown side facing him. "FIGHTING!" A techno voice said from the belt. Diaz then hit the button This caused the handle to pop out of the slot, minus the crystal, and made the tire spin clockwise, with the tire glowing brown. This made Miles' tire sack glow brown, and a giant brown crystal tire popped out of Miles' throat. Then the tired rolled straight to Diaz.
"TERASTALLIZING!" Diaz yelled, as the tire hit him and caused the tire to fall apart. This let out a brown pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to Diaz's body. "IRON HANDS." A techno voice said, from the belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Diaz his Iron Hands form.
Diaz the activated his giant hands and grabbed the arms of the Robot. "Miles I got it set up, so finish it with Giga Impact." Diaz said to Miles. (If you say so.) Miles said to Diaz, letting out a massive amount of white energy. Miles then rushed into the Robot, slamming into it with a lot of force, forcing it back a bit. And with Diaz holding its arms, they came clean off.
"There we go. Now let's see how my creation is doing?" Dist said, as he got his chair flying, and into the air. And once in the air, Dist noticed Diaz tossing the Robot's arms into the ocean.
"WHAT?! How dare you. Do you know what you're doing?!" Dist asked Diaz. "Trashing your pile of junk." Diaz said to Dist. "How dare you call it junk. It has a power like no other. Taken from your own Ignition Key and made it my own." Dist said to Diaz.
"Active, super, dazzling, majestic, ultra, armor." Dist said to his Robot. The Robot then started to beep a little, before its face screen shined a black light. Then from the face screen out, its body turned a shiny black color, and the pumps started to shoot out black particles.
"I was hoping for the other color, but this will do. Destroy them." Dist said to his Robot. The Robot then beeps, before firing a large beam of black energy at Diaz.
(Protect!) Miles said, as he got in front of Diaz, and formed a green bubble around himself and Diaz, blocking the black energy beam.
Then the Robot turned its head, making the black energy beam move to everyone else. "Charcadet use Ember." Luke said to Charcadet, as they ran around, dodging the black energy beam. (I don't think it'll have much effect. But fine.) Charcadet said, as he fired a small burst of fire at the Robot.
But the fire just rolled off its black metal body like it was nothing. "Ugh? That wasn't supposed to happen, was it?" Whina asked Diaz, as the Robot fired a black energy beam at. "No it wasn't." Diaz said to Whina, as he used his floating hands to grab Whina and move her out of the way of the black energy beam.
"Fie, I'm going to hold it down, use Peck and break its glass face." Anise said to Fie, as she pulled out her doll and made it big. Anise then made the doll rush the Robot, and grabbed it, making it hold still. (Sure, give me the hard part.) Fie said to Anise, as his beck glowed white, and he started to peck the glass screen the black energy beam was shooting from. But the peck wasn't even cracking the grass.
Then the Robot fired a black energy beam, forcing Fie off its face, and started to spin around, forcing Anise off it.
"Jataayu try to hold it down with Confusion." Ion said to Jataayu, as they kept dodging the black energy beam. (Okay.) Jataayu said, as his eyes glowed teal, and a teal outline appeared on the Robot. But the teal outline broke apart in a second.
"Oh, now I get it. My Ignition Key turned the Robot into a dark type. Meaning moves like Confusion won't work, and weak attacks like Ember and Peck won't do much. But attacks that are effective on Dark Types should do big damage." Diaz said to everyone.
"Let's see. Lokej use Rock Smash." Guy said to Lokej, as he dodged a black energy beam. (Okay, let's try it.) Lokej said, as his leek glowed white, and he charged at the Robot. Then Lokey swung his leek into the side of the Robot, leaving a good side dent in the side of the head.
"It looks like I was right. Ladies care to play a tune?" Diaz said to everyone, and asked Whina and Tear. "Inesa/Liran use Disarming voice." Whina and Tear said to Inesa and Liran. (Okya.) Inesa and Liran said, as they fired a pink sonic pulse with pink hearts in it. The sonic pulse hit the robot, and knocked it down to the deck.
"Now that it's down. Susu 1, 2, and 3, use Infestation." Jade said to the Susu's. (On it.) The Susu's said to Jade, as they shook their bodies, making green particles fall to the ground. The green particles then moved on the deck and onto the Robot, attacking it like they were termites, and started to eat away at the black armor.
This made the pumps on the back go crazy, before letting out a pulse of black energy, getting the Infestation. The pulse also caused everyone to jump back. Well everyone but Diaz, who could move thanks to his form, and even his giant hands couldn't block the pulse.
The pulse hit Diaz hard, and knocked Diaz onto his back. "Owh." Diaz said, as he closed the slot on the right side of his tired, turning him back into his Violet Iron form. "Violet Iron and Iron Bundle isn't tough enough to break it, and Iron Hands is too slow to dodge its attack. I need something in between." Diaz said to himself, as he sat up.
Then Diaz remembered the Ignition Key he got from Arietta at the Choral Castle, and pulled it out of its slot on his belt, as he stood up.
"Steel and Ground. You might be a heavy hitter and can take a hit, I only hope you're fast." Diaz said, as he put the Ignition Key into the slot, with the silver side facing him. "STEEL!" A techno voice said from the belt.
Diaz then hit the button This caused the handle to pop out of the slot, minus the crystal, and made the tire spin clockwise, with the tire glowing silver. This made Miles' tire sack glow silver, and a giant silver crystal tire popped out of Miles' throat.
The tire headed straight for Diaz. "TERASTALLIZING!" Diaz yelled, as the tire hit him and caused the tire to fall apart. This let out a sliver pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to Diaz's body.
"ROLLING OVER THE LAND! WITH MIGHTY STEEL TREADS, SMASHING EVERYTHING IN ITS WAY, BEWARE THE MIGHT OF IRON TREADS!" A techno voice said, from the belt, as all the crystals broke apart, revealing Diaz in new armor.
He still had his violet jumpsuit on, but thick metal armor on the sides of his legs and upper arms, thick dark silver armor line that went from both of his shoulders to his ankles with glowing red squares spaced out in the dark silver armor, with some shiny silver in between them, his shoes were silver with a sharp black steel spike at the tip of shoes and red buttons on the back of the heels, his helmet was now silver with a black screen face and red digital lights that formed the eyes, on the back of his helmet was two long handlebars that looked like long ear flaps.
And in both of his hand where thick round dark silver shields that where as wide as his lower arms the edge of the shields had glowing red squares with a glowing red line around the squares, the outside of the shields have a curve dark silver spike that was angled to his hands at a acute angle, and on the inside of the shield was a mantle strap that went around Diaz's arm, the two handles were sticking into shield at a acute angle with Diaz holding the handles, and the buttons on the handles right on the shield.
Everyone looked at him with a curious look on their faces. "Okay, not bad. Let's see what it can do." Diaz said, as he charged at the robot, moving at a normal speed for an average person.
The robot then fired a black beam at Diaz, but Diaz used one of his shields to block the attack, and was able to still charge at the robot. Once Diaz got close enough, he ram the spike of his right shield into the robot. Then Diaz pressed the button on his right handle, making the edge of the shield spin at high speed. This caused sparks to fly as his shield started to cut through the robot's armor.
The robot then tried to slam its head, planning to crush Diaz, but Diaz jumped back in time. "Okay now this is what I was hoping for." Diaz said, as he pressed the buttons on his shield making the edges spin, and started to repeatedly jam his shields into the robot and pulled back, like he was doxing and the robot was a punching bag.
All of this caused wide cracks to be formed into the robot's armor. Diaz then jumped back and looked at his damage. "Not bad. A couple more hits and it's over." Diaz said, before looking down at his feet and looking at the buttons on his feet. "I wonder what these do?" Diaz asked himself, as he hit the buttons on his heels with each other.
This caused his heels to stick together, and made Diaz fall to the deck. "Whoa!" Diaz said as he fell, and used his shields to stop him from hitting the deck, his shields were like wheels on the ground. That's when the handlebars moved from the back of his head to the back of his shoulders, at the same time the dark silver armor started to spread out with red metal attaching the dark silver squares together. A few seconds later, the dark sliver squares became two large wheels that were attached to his shoulders and base of his feet.
"What the?!" Luke asked everyone. "It looks like Iron Treads can because of some kind of vehicle." Huy said to everyone. "He looks like a fun ride." Mieu said to everyone. "Don't think about it. I'm not someone's vehicle." Diaz said to Mieu.
"Can you even move?" Jade asked Diaz. "Let me try something." Diaz said to Jade, as he pressed the button on his left shield, making his left shield roll forward, and making Diaz turn right. Then Diaz let go of the left button, making him stop, and hitting the right button, making him turn left.
Then Diaz stopped pressing the button and stopped moving. "Okay I think I'm getting the hang of this." Diaz said, as he started to roll around the place, dodging the robot's black beams, and do hit and run attacks on the robot, slashing it with the curved spikes on his shields and toes. All these attacks caused the robot to lose its legs and fall back, its black energy beam facing up.
"Nice, time to finish this." Diaz said, as he spun his tire clockwise. This caused his right shield to turn clockwise, and the left shield to turn counter clockwise. This caused Diaz to spin out of control at such a fast rate he looked like a glowing red sphere with dark silver lines on it.
"I'M GOING TO BE SICK!" Diaz yelled, as he spun himself right into the robot, and started to slash the robot into pieces, like it was getting erased on a piece of paper. In a few seconds, the robot was nothing but scrap metal, and Diaz stopped spinning.
Diaz then closed the sloth on the side of his tire, turning him back into his Violet Iron form, and was on his hands and knees. "Okay. I think I'm growing to throw up." Diaz said. (At least take off your helmet first.) Miles said to Diaz, as Diaz stood up, trying his best to keep his balance.
After a few seconds, the dizziness wore off, and Diaz noticed an Ignition Key in the pile of scrap that was the Robot. One side was black with a symbol of Dark on it, and the other side was sky blue with a symbol of Flying on it, with one edge of the key looking like a wicked smile, and the other side looking like a feather.
"At least that piece of junk is trashed, and I got my Ignition Key back." Diaz said to everyone, as he put Iron Treads Ignition Key away in a slot, and picked up the new ignition Key from the scrap metal.
"How dare you call my amazing creation junk. I'll have you know. I work hard on that invention. DO you know how hard it was to turn energy I've never seen before into a power source? I think not. And you just trash like it was nothing. Just you wait, next time I'll…" Dist said to Diaz, ranting, and was interrupted by Diaz shooting another electric bolt into Dist chair, and making it go crazy.
That's when Dist's chair was sent flying off into the distance and into the water, with Dist still in the chair. "Oh, no, I didn't mean to do that." Diaz said, with a really worried tune in his voice.
"Don't worry about him. He has the tenacity of a cockroach. It'll take more than that to kill him. Right now, I'm off to check the bridge." Jade said to Diaz, before leaving everyone with the Susu's following him.
"I'll go with you. Diaz please protect Luke, Ion, and the ladies with the Pokemon." Guy said to Diaz, before he went to help Jade. "Sure, make me do everything again." Diaz said to Guy, as he put his new Ignition Key into its slot on the side of his belt.
"What should we do?" Luke asked everyone, as everyone else put their weapons away. "Let's check to see if anyone's injured." Tear said to Luke. "Yes, you're right." Ion said to Tear.
"It's not easy being a messenger of peace." Anise said to everyone. "You got that right." Luke said to Anise. "Like you two care about peace. Now come on. You two can help clean up the mess the battle did to the ship" Whina said to Luke and Anise, as she started to pull them away.
TWISTED REALM.
Meanwhile in the Twisted Realm, The cloak figure and Eshu were looking at the board, with Eshu smiling a little. "That's four, two more to go." Eshu said to the cloak figure. "Yes, and he's adapting well to them." The cloak figure said to Eshu.
"My King, I have news." A male voice said to the cloak figure. This made the cloak figure and Eshu turn their heads, and they saw a creature walking towards them.
The creature looked like a man in dark purple armor, his legs stilts with a thick sharp edge armor around the knees, the back of his head was glowing light blue with a light blue flame on the back of the head like a pony-tail, purple eye with light blue steam coming out of them, light blue spikes on the back jaw of the helmet, and its hands where long double edged light blue flame blades with the tip of the blades being light violet.
And it looked like it was wearing a light blue cap on its back, with many blood stains on it, pinning the cap to its shoulders was many metals that looked like they melted onto its armor.
"Ah, my greatest general, Alfonso the Ceruledge, is there a reason you came in person instead of sending someone else?" The cloak figure asked the creature. "My Lord, I'm sorry to say this, but my spies on Auldrant just reported some important news to me." Alfonso said to the cloak figure, as he kneeled before the cloak figure.
"And that new is?" The cloak figure asked Alfonso. "Scarlet Beast, he's active." Alfonso said to The cloak figure. "But that fact you're here to tell me in person, means there's a problem with the one that becomes Scarlet Beast." The cloak figure said to Alfonso.
"Yes, sir." The cloak figure said to Alfonso. "Then tell me, what about this person who has the Scarlet Belt bugs you?" The cloak figure asked Alfonso.
