Authors Note: I finally got to Wano! Which, thank the lord- because it took me freaking forever. And, yes I read all the reviews. If they're questions, I'll be answering them- so keep a lookout for yours.

I also wanted to point out, that I'm a beginner. I've only been writing for two years. More, if you count school. Im better at historical writings, more formal than what fanfiction is. So mistakes will be common. I don't edit my chapters that much either. But im still glad people are enjoying this fic anyway!

Innerene - aaaaaa i found a new story and fresh. so seastone affects to chakra? it weakens it to?

- I'm glad some noticed! Yes, seastone will have an effect on her chakra. It won't be as extreme as say- her being a devil fruit user. But there will be set backs, and obstacles Sakura will have to overcome due to her chakra "not liking" seastone.

Guest22 - Spoilers: Will Izou interested/concerned? He was from Wano, he might be familar with the terms… At the same time the elemental nation Shinobi maybe different from Wano. So he might think Sakura is an ally of Oden or Kaido.

- I have to admit I'm still on the fence about this. There will be some recognition, from Izou- and from other One Piece characters who are familiar with Wano or the term Shinobi in general. So I'd say he'd be interested. Because there are things "Shinobi" in this world cannot do in Sakura's world. Like clones, walking on water, etc. Just like how Sakura has no knowledge on Haki, Devil Fruits, etc.

Recap...

Finding her room wasn't too hard. Not nearly taking as long as finding the mess hall was. Only as she enters, does her exhaustion finally hit her.

The conversations, as well as all the walking seemingly draining her of her remaining energy.

"At least I'll be able to sleep." Sakura whispers aloud, shuffling towards the comfortable bed. Tomorrow would be a new day, and hopefully things would only get easier from there…

Hopefully.

'Everyone's on edge.' Sakura thought, peering around the deck. Conversations looked hushed, tense.

Edward, who was typically relaxed, was hunched over having words with Marco and a few other commanders. Their faces serious, controlled. Not as carefree as they usually were.

Sakura felt almost out of place. Standing in the middle, unsure if she should approach Edward. Her presence didn't look needed. And she'd hate to upset them, after all, they had been kind to her so far.

"You seem lost, hun." A woman spoke from behind her. Drawing Sakuras attention away from the men. Spinning around to face the torso of a extremely tall woman.

Lifting her head up, her eyes trail of the features of this unknown woman. Well-applied makeup, purple hair with a hat that paired well with her outfit.

"Uhm, I just needed to speak with... your captain. But he looks busy." Sakura trailed off, tilting her head to the side.

The woman chuckled, looking over Sakura's head in the direction of Edward. "Yeah, things have been tense since this morning." The woman began.

"Oyaji received word from some allies that Portgas D. Ace has been spreading rumors about taking his head. And now he's attacking Jinbei. An ally of ours." The woman finished, placing her hands on her hips.

Sakura's eyes widen a centimeter in recognition. Remembering the boys bounty poster from he night before. To think the kid was actually trying to go after Edward's head. He seemed so small in comparison to the captain.

"Reckless, I know. He wanted to speak with the commanders to see how we precede." The woman says, noticing Sakura's change in facial features.

Humming in acknowledgment, Sakura hangs her head just slightly.

"Do you know anything? Or will we have to wait for them to finish their talk?" She asks, sparing the commanders a glance.

They didn't look mad. But that doesn't mean a thing. Especially by their tense shoulders, and pinched brows. Marco looked like he was a second away from an headache, Thatch looked normal. A smirk on his lips though, was a new development. And Edward was drinking Sake, from an enormous cup. Or so Sakura thought, she didn't have many details seeing as she was quite far from the group.

"Well Oyaji had talked about recruiting Ace. So I have a feeling he'll use these rumors to his advantage." The woman answers, shrugging.

"Oh, and the names Whitney Bay. I work as a doctor here on the ship." The woman, Whitney, eventually says. Grinning ear to ear.

Sakura's brows raised, before a smile of her own broke out. "Nice to meet you. I'm Sakura Haruno." Sakura introduced as well.

Whitney nodded her head, bringing her arm up and pulling a stray hair behind her ear. "I haven't seen you much on bored. You addressed Oyaji as "my" Captian. You just hitching a ride to another island or something?" Whitney asks.

Sakura tilts her head, pondering on what to say. "Not really. I don't know how to get home. Edward offered to let me stay until I can figure it out." Sakura explains, keeping it as simple as possible.

Whitney hums, looking thoughtful for a moment as her eyes trailed over Sakura almost as if she were analyzing her. Before nodding at her words.

"Sounds like something Oyaji would do. Don't be surprised if he offers you a spot on the crew though. You seem... unique." Whitney offers, her voice no higher than a murmur.

Sakura doesn't ask what she means by that, able to clue it together with the small pieces she's been given. Almost laughing at the idea. Her? A pirate?

From the corner of her eye, it seems the commanders and Edward are finished. A few wondering away, going back to whatever they were doing before. Marco stood there with his hands on his hips, talking with Izou. If Sakura remembered correctly. Thatch on the other hand, noticed her quite quickly. Waving her over with a shout of her name.

"Best get going. Thatch isn't known for his patience." Whitney whispered, drawing Sakura's gaze back towards her.

Bowing her head slightly, Sakura said goodbye to the woman. Spinning on her heel and walking towards Thatch.

"Sakura! How are you? Sleep well?" Thatch fires out quickly, smiling down at her.

"I've been good. Weird sleeping on water, but it didn't pose too much of a problem." She answers truthfully.

Marco snorts behind them, he and Izou both finished with their talk. Migrating towards the two of them. Sakura greets the two with a nod of her head.

"Heard about the commotion. Ace." Sakura says, raising her brow at the three men. Marco sighs at the name, but both Izou and Thatch seem amused.

"Yeah. We already changed course. Heading towards the island him and our ally are fighting at. Should be there by tomorrow." Thatch says.

Marco rolls his eyes, which has Sakura changing her attention to the blonde. "You don't seem excited like these two." Sakura points at Thatch and Izou.

"I don't think we're going at this the right way. But, since Oyaji is persistent my words won't sway him." Marco says with an exasperated sigh.

Sakura nods, despite being a little confused. But is seems he's done with the conversation. Waving himself off and walking away. Izou places his hand on Thatch's shoulder, whispering something in the cooks ear. Before following after Marco.

Thatch turns to look at Sakura apologetically. "I gotta go. Commander business. See you around?" Thatch grins, before following after the two men as well.

Left standing there, Sakura glances around. A little lost at what to do now. Was there even things to do when out on the sea? Maybe she needed a fight. Or heal something, someone. Sakura could feel her chakra, restless underneath her skin.

'Tsunade always said meditation was a good pass time' Sakura thought.

Although it sounded a little boring. The more she thought on it. Groaning aloud, Sakura walks away. Heading back towards the direction of her room.

The other pirates don't spare her a glance. Besides a few. Who's stares are a little more prominent. But thankfully, nobody unusual approaches her as she nears the end of the deck, pushing open the doors and walking into the hallway.

She maneuvers her way around, using her memory to get back to her room. Just as Sakura was about to turn the corner, another- larger body walks into her line of sight. Her head smacking straight into the unknown person. Stumbling backwards, Sakura's conscious enough to steady herself- keeping her upright.

Bringing her hand up to rub her temple, she tilts her head upwards to look at the person she had walked blindly into.

A large man, is the first think she notices. Darker skin, similar to Vista. Missing multiple teeth. Blinking back to reality, Sakura is quick to apologize.

"I'm sorry, wasn't watching my surroundings all that well." She says. The man laughs, sending a chill down her spine.

But it's different from when Edward laughs. Deeper, darker. His aura reminding her of Orochimaru during the forest of death.

"No worries," the man begins, eyes calculating as he stares down at her.

"Say, I haven't seen you around before." The man notices, hands coming up to rest by his hip. Where a knife laid tucked away.

"Oh, no. I'm here temporarily until I can head back home. The names Sakura." She says, licking her lips.

"Teach, is what they call me." The man, Teach, says. And Sakura nods quickly, the alarms in her head telling her to get the hell away. Despite how friendly the man is trying to appear.

"Again, I'm sorry. But I must get back to my room." Sakura rushes out, stepping to the side. Moving to walk past the larger man.

But before she can pass, his hand grips her arm. Stopping her from moving. Sakura's fingers twitch, the urge to rip his hand from his wrist for even touching her crosses her mind- but she controls herself.

"It was nice to meet you, Sakura." Teach drawls, his voice dropping an octave lower.

"Get you hand off my arm, Teach." Sakura grits out instead, her eyes narrowed when she meets his gaze.

Teach just laughs as he loosens his grip, enough for her to rip her arm away. Stomping off angrily towards her room. Not sparing the man a second glance. Fuming in a way she hasn't before. Not in a long time.

But something about Teach set Sakura on edge. The urge to run filling her mind, as well as the urge to kill. Two alarms that screamed danger. Which meant she needed to be careful. Especially around him.

Shaking her head, Sakura finally reaches her room. Opening the door only to close it when she enters. Rubbing her eyes, trying to calm herself.

'One positive, we'll be nearing and island soon.' Sakura thought, shuffling towards the edge of her bed.

Sitting on it with her legs crossed, she eyed her door for a little bit, before shaking her head and closing her eyes. Focusing on the movement of her chakra. Trying to rid the ugly feelings that man, Teach, had filled her with. She had fought a goddess, damn it! A man such as that shouldn't have scared her as much as it did.
