…And that's a wrap! Thank you for following me on this part of my journey.
To be honest, after completing 'Beyond the Nexus' two years ago, I went ahead and drafted these two sequels on a whim, but if you ask me, this series outlines the past, present, and future of Kuroyukihime's journey. In particular, 'Beyond the Nexus' was about her mysterious past, 'The Next Level' was about the present she has to overcome, and 'Duel of the Climax' represents the future she has sworn to take with Haru.
I'm rather surprised by how short this final part turned out be, but I'd say I wrapped up everything I wanted to cover nicely. Of course, this may be the end of my trilogy, but the story doesn't end here, as Kuroyukihime and Haruyuki would take on the challenge of finally clearing Brain Burst – though I'll leave that for Kawahara-sensei to write.
That said, I do have some inkling about what they'll do afterwards, which I plan to use as a basis for my 'Hidden Haven' story. Right now, I have gathered most of the plot points for that story together, but a slight restructuring is in order, so all I can say is, stay tuned for the next chapter (whenever that gets released).
Also, I'm soon about to launch a series of prequels called 'Accel Zero' – focusing on the three female Kings who are pivotal to the Accel World story. This will come with its own series of challenges, but I plan to cover all the major aspects of their lives and how Brain Burst invariantly changed them. As for my other series 'Asuna's Friendships' which I started with Sinon, let's just say I have several drafts put together for Alice, Liz/Silica, and even Mito. Aside from that, there's also Leafa in my plans, but only time will tell when I plan to release them.
