Pokémon: Ash Ketchum's New Adventure

Chapter 6-A Gym Battle Won

Steelix transformed into a bigger form of himself.

Ash grinned, he was going to bring out his second secret weapon — next to Pikachu, who was now sitting in the stands with his Pokémon and human friends, cheering Ash on. "Pika!" He flashed a smile again as he looked onwards. Steelix finished Evolving, the DNA Symbol showing and fading away after a second.

Steelix's power increased. Daniel smiled as he called out an attack. "Use Dark Pulse!" A pulse of dark purple circles exited out of his mouth, almost hitting Dracovish. Ash knew that he needed to recall his Pokémon and substrate for Lucario. Ash was about to bring out his Poké Ball, but he wanted Dracovish to battle some more so he decided against it. He refocused then called out another attack.

"Use Dragon Rush!" Ash said Dracovish used his power to run towards the Mega Evolved Pokémon. But that didn't work.

"Use dig, then finish it off with rock tomb!" Steelix started borrowing underground, when he came out, He let off a series of stone shards, raining down onto Dracovish. Knocking him out. The referee confirmed it. "Dracovish is unable to battle, Steelix wins!" Ash recalled Dracovish, he pulled out his final Poké ball, looking at his left hand seeing his KeyStone shining in the lights of the Gym. He smirked; he wanted to use it when it was absolutely necessary. For now, he was going to keep pushing forward.

"Lucario, use Aura Sphere!" Ash commanded. Lucario brought his hands up to his side and he produced a ball of energy to throw at Steelix. Ash waited for the timing. "Lucario, do it!" he said, Daniel narrowed his eyes and tried to think of something, their was no way that he was going to beat him! And if he used Mega Evolution, it was over for him — granted; he was using the mechanic also, But he's seen all his battles on TV, his Mega Lucario was powerful! And he wasn't using it…. Yet.

"Steelix, use Dig!" Steelix burrowed underground. Ash waited for the right time. "Lucario! when Steelix comes up, dodge it then use Bullet Punch!" Lucario used the move on steelix. Steelix managed to hit him with enough force to send him flying back. Ash eyed the battlefield as he saw Daniel with his arms crossed and a smile on his face.

"You're not winning that easily, Ash!" He said. Ash grinned then he looked at Lucario, the Pokémon was standing and stood next to his trainer. Lucario and Ash looked at each other. Ash grinned as Lucario walked to the battlefield. Lucario had a little bit of scratches and battle damage on him. Ash smiled as he picked up his left hand and touched his KeyStone with his fingers. "Our bond of friendship, Mega Evolve!"

"No way! Now Ash's Lucario is Mega Evolving!" Goh said. Chloe, Bonnie, Clemont and Serena were all on the edge of their seats watching this exciting battle.

"Lucario, use Steel Beam!" His body turned white as he used his hand to gather up energy then he slammed it onto Steelix with as much force, Steelix stumbled back, Daniel saw him go down.

"Steelix is unable to battle, that means the challenger, Ash Ketchum wins!" the referee said, Daniel smiled warmly and walked up to him. "I am so happy that I got to challenge you, Ash, here is the Limestone badge." he said as he gave Ash the badge.

"Alright!" he exclaimed and held it out. "I just got the Limestone badge!" he said as he held it out. "Pikachu!" He, Lucario and Sirfeche'd stood next to him also. Serena laughed, Goh and Chloe were happy for their friend.

"Good job, Ash!" Bonnie said Dedenne popped out of his place and cheered them on too for winning the match.

"Thanks, guys! let's go to eat something, hey Daniel, is there any place we can eat at?" Ash asked. Daniel smiled softly at them. "There's a shawarma place here, you can go to that, and you all know where the Pokémon Center is, right?" he asked. they nodded and they were on their way to eat lunch.

Ash, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie were all at the Pokémon Center a few hours later all eating dinner now, Goh was catching new Pokémon Serena was talking with Chloe about something, Ash was eating with Pikachu, it was now evening, and they decided to eat in the Pokémon Center. Ash was zoning out, Pikachu tapped him on his face. "Hey, buddy…" he smiled. "What's up?" Just then, Goh came back. "Guys! I just caught a new Pokémon!"

"Is it a regional variant?"

"Um…. No, I tried looking for one and nothing."

"Maybe you'll look for one one day." Ash smiled as he saw Goh sit down with him. "Yeah… maybe."

"Hey guys!" Serena said. "There's a mall here, maybe we can go tomorrow!" Ash smiled. "Okay, that sounds like a good idea!" Bonnie said, Ash smiled as he agreed with this.

Ash and his friends went to their rooms that were in the Pokémon Center and they all went to bed.
