This story was taken after Rimuru finished his trip around the continent in Light Novel Volume 18. In case anyone wondered, Rimuru's taking a trip to a lot of countries to inspect their preparation for the upcoming Tenma War after the Walpurgis at Guy's castle ended. After inspecting every country, Rimuru got mentally exhausted and wished to have some time to relax. Then, he wondered about something.

It's been days since I've been going to a lot of places. If I were still a human, I would run out of energy and collapse. Even Leon criticizes me for what I'm doing, saying I got only two hands but naively trying to reach out to many things. Well, I just didn't want to regret anything.

But man, even though my physique wouldn't get tired, I still got mentally exhausted.

[I could ease your tiredness if you want!]

Ohh! Very reliable as always, that's my Ciel for you. Then please do it, Ciel!

[Acknowledge. Mental exhaustion erased]

Hm? Strange, I don't feel much different. Wait, is Ciel teasing me?

Diablo, who just finished preparing tea for me, got a jolt a bit after hearing my sudden order. Sorry Diablo, my idea just come up so suddenly as well. But Diablo had perfectly back to his composure and with his gentlemanly posture, he replied,

"Thank you"

Diablo has been working hard as well. Shion has left for Ruminas so I got only Diablo to help me do my administrative jobs.

Not even 15 minutes passed, and Benimaru, Shuna, Rigurd, Myourmiles, and Souei come up entering my room accompanied by Diablo.

Wow! That was fast.

Their faces were showing great concern and everyone is in high tension. Oops, my bad. I guess I made a ruckus and they think something emergency has to arise.

"Rimuru-sama is something wrong?! We come as fast as we can!", Rigurd spurted out the words.

"Are the enemies already coming?", Benimaru asks.

Whoah, these guys are just so serious. I felt bad that I just going to tell them I want a day off.

"Ah, uhm… No please calm down everyone. There's nothing serious."

I tried to defuse the tension.

"But, why you suddenly called us Rimuru-sama?" Shuna replied with a question.

"Ahh that, well, let us sit down first."

As I asked them to sit down, I only saw Rigurd and Souei who still had a high tension on their faces. The rest of them, look somewhat more relaxed. Especially Myourmiles.

After everyone had their seat, I began to explain.

"So everyone, sorry for the sudden call. I just got something to tell. Well, it's more of a favor to ask to you all".

"What is it, Rimuru-sama?" The one who ask was Diablo. He looks somewhat eager and had a high-spirited tone in his question.

"Well, you see… I want to have a day off".

I gave them some kind of Tehee! face, while scratching the back of my head even though it doesn't feel itchy at all.

They didn't react at all after what I said for a couple of seconds. Honestly, it feels scary. It feels like I was a kid who ask for an extra allowance from my parents.

And their gaze… Come on man! If you wouldn't allow me, then just say it!

"Is it… just that?" Benimaru asked with a dry tone.

"Y-yeah… you see, I felt somewhat exhausted and wanted to have fun on my own for a while. You know, something like me-time."

"Ohhh… Such as letting Rimuru-sama to overworked himself, I have failed to do my job. My deepest apologies Rimuru-sama!" Diablo bows his head and apologized to me.

"Rimuru-sama, why don't you tell us sooner? We would help you out so you wouldn't be exhausted", Shuna replied somewhat reprimanding me.

"Rimuru-sama, you shouldn't ask us for that. Just go for it. I'm so sorry for always relying heavily on you" Myourmiles apologized to me.

"Rimuru-sama! You could leave everything to me! So please take your time and let this humble servant ease your burden!" Rigurd proclaims such a rigorous declaration.

Ahhh they started to blame themselves. Seriously guys, without you all, I would have a LOT more trouble.

"Please everyone, don't blame yourself. It's nobody's fault. I just love to work, but recently I got bored and wanted some fresh air. So is it okay if I leave everything to you for a while?"

"' Certainly! '"

Wow, their replies came so suddenly. I'm glad.

"Thank you so much, everyone. I promise to come back to work soon. I just need a couple of days off."

"Understood. You can leave the war matter to me, Rimuru-sama!" Benimaru replied.

"Me as well! I'll handle the council and our mega project around the world as we planned"

"Then, I would start to prepare a banquet after Rimuru-sama returned to us!"

"Kufufufu… Then, allow me to accompany you, Rimuru-sama!"

"Eh! No! Just leave me alone for a while." I spontaneously blurted out to Diablo.

Oh crap that was very rude of me. His expression shows a huge shock, something like being struck by lightning.

"A-Ah… I mean, I'll leave all my paperwork and other assignments to you. You're the most capable of doing it, after all, Diablo"

I stand up and walked to him. Then, patting his shoulder to cheer him up.

"Oh! Thank you for your trust in me, Rimuru-sama! I shall live up to your expectation!"

This guy, he's easy.

"Then Diablo-san, I shall help you too since I got quite a little free time" Shuna offered her help with a gentle smile.

Diablo seem a bit reluctant to receive help since he actually can do it alone, but after I glare at him to behave himself, he received the offer with a smile.

"Yosh! Then starting tomorrow, I'm not going to the office. See you again!"

"We'll be waiting for your return Rimuru-sama!"

"Don't worry about us!"

"Please have a good time, Rimuru-sama!"

Then, the first page of my holiday were begin. Or, is it going to be a holiday?
