"Oh?..."

Lying on the streets of a random city, and just looking up at the sky with a confused yet blank expression, was a young boy, around his teens, with black short hair, black eyes, and wearing a normal uniform clothing; this was Cid Kagenou, and he couldn't help but wear a very confused expression as he sat up and started to look around.

"Am I... Back on Earth?"

Cid couldn't help but worry slightly; quickly, he stood up and tried something in hopes to calm any fears or panic he might have been feeling. Luckily, after summoning a slime sword and giving it a light purple-black magical aura that surrounded the blade, Kagenou was able to sigh a breath of relief.

"Good, I still have my magic, would suck to lose it all after being Isekai a 2nd time."

He then placed the blade on his shoulder and looked up at the sunny blue sky, which was also filled with clouds; he wore a slight frown.

"But as for the Shadow Garden, plus other things, I'm sure they're long gone, which is very unfortunate..."

Cid looked down sadly, recalling the many people he had met, the many accomplishments he had achieved, and the reputation he had built for himself, all lost in an instant.

"... OH WELL! Not like that will stop me from becoming a 'Eminence In The Shadow'! This New World Will Not Stop Me From Making That Dream Come True!~"

The moment of sadness was quickly washed away and replaced with newfound motivation and determination; this could also be seen in his black eyes suddenly turning red. As soon as he had found his new motivation, an explosion, followed by screams, could be heard and seen in the distance. To which he looked and noticed, he wore a large excited smile and quickly charged after the source of chaos.

'I Lurk In The Shadow And Fight The Shadow! That's Who I Am, And That's Who I Will Become To This Entire World!'

Sorry for the very short chapter, I tried to be very vague on where this story takes place without going into spoilers, but to give small info without giving too much, it takes place before or after Rose joins Shadow Garden. I highly recommend reading the Manga or wait for the anime to be done to understand what is happening.

(The Manga is called Eminence In Shadow, also at the moment I'm planning on sending him to the DC universe, but plans might change, BTW I'm open to suggestions and ideas~)
