"I have to get stronger" I muttered to myself while swinging a sword
I decided to hang out with my dog that likes to complain alot.
I sometimes envy how carefree Pochi can act but I think it's because he is from a poor baron family and doesn't have a lot of responsibilities.
Pochi doesn't seem to like me that is until I give him some money. It amazes me a far low he can go far money but enough of that matter.
"How long do I have to sit here and watch you," Cid asked.
And if you didn't already know my dog is a human. I wouldn't really consider him one though.
"Just wait until I'm done warming up. You can do that can you?" I said flashing him a golden coin.
"You're evil," Cid muttered.
"Sorry, I didn't hear you."
"I could definitely wait, Princess Alexia." He changed his tune. This is why I like Pochi, he is very understanding.
As a reward, I flicked him a gold coin.
"Why do you need me to train you anyway? There are a lot of people way stronger than me."
"Because you're a good teacher, Pooch"
"My sister says the same thing but I don't really get it."
"Listen Pochi, I'm sure you know that the school got attacked by terrorists twice now."
"Uh-huh."
"And both of those times Shadow saved the school."
"Uh-huh."
"But lately my sister Iris has been thinking that he is a very evil person."
"Uh-huh"
"I don't know Shadow that much but I can tell he isn't as bad as my sister thinks he is."
"Can I go now?"
"Whoops I dropped some money."
"Please continue your story, Princess Alexia." He said scrambling to get the money like it was going to go somewhere.
"I think someone is feeding her bad information. Not too long ago she had this guy with her. He told my sister that Shadow Garden has forced people to play as bad guys by treating them or using hostages.
"Hmm"
"You're still not interested, are you? Whatever I'm done warming up now."
This is what I mean by how carefree he is. Every time I spar with him I feel like I learn something new even though he's weak.
"So what are you going to do now?" He asked after we finished sparring
"So you were listening? I'm going to try and get strong enough to get my sister's attention."
"That's nice. Why are you telling me this."
"I just feel like it. You have a problem with it?"
"No, Your Highness"
"Anyways I'm leaving now. Don't try to get into any trouble while I'm gone."
"Says the one who got kidnapped twice"
"Shut up," I said as I walked back to my dorm.
Now I know my sister. She's not going to pay me any mind to my strength if I stay at mediocre levels.
That's why I'm planning to get as strong as my sister. I know it's a long shot since I've always wanted to close the gap between me and her but it's my best option.
She's been so focused on beating Shadow that she doesn't have time for me anymore. I don't know on how to get stronger than I already have but I think there is a way.
There is only one person I know who's stronger than my sister, and that's Shadow. This may be my dumbest idea yet, but I want Shadow to train me somehow. I don't know how to get his attention though, he seems kinda edgy.
And with that, I went to sleep.

This morning I got up early as usual.
Pochi always arrives last minute so I warm up by myself. I usually start with the stretches Pochi taught me which are unusually good.
I've learned to ignore people's comments on my swordsmanship. They might see it as lame but I know how truly good it can be.
I saw Shadow using one surprisingly similar to mine. Sure he may be superhuman but I want to get as close to his level of swordsmanship as possible. So I spent my early morning training.
I focused on the basics, such as my stance and footwork. After that, I worked on my form and precision. Finally, I worked on my speed and agility. I tried to minimize my movement so I could only do what was necessary.
This is another reason why I train with Pochi. Since he is so bland and basic, it's easier to focus on my swordsmanship since it's similar to mine.
He might not be a lost cause after all. But right now, the only thing he's good at is picking up coins and getting thrown in a flashy way.

"Come on Cid, we're going to be late!" Said Bald Mob character number 1.
"If we end up late, you owe me your money." Said Poor Mob character number 2.
"Alright, alright, I said I'm sorry." Said Bland Mob character 3.
And if you didn't know already, I'm Bland Mob character 3, and us being late is a usual occurrence so I don't take it too seriously.
But lately, a new usual occurrence started happening and I do kinda take it seriously. And that's Alexia being annoying full-time.
I wonder if some of my sister rubbed off on her because now she likes bullying me a lot now. She says I'm a great teacher but I don't get it since I'm just a mob character.
When it comes to Claire I can usually just avoid her. But Alexia is one of my Zeni providers and it's quite hard for me to avoid her since my body moves by itself whenever Alexia throws coins.
"Cid. Let's stop by Mitsugoshi today!" Said the Poor Mob character 2 whose name is Skel.
"Their latest product is called a chocolate cake." Said Bald Mob character 1 whose name is Po.
"If we get those, the girls will be sure to be fawning all over us."
"You said that when you went and got chocolate."
"Yeah, but this time I decided to tone down my research so I wouldn't be caught!"
This guy is definitely going to end up in jail one day.
"And I took out a 500k Zeni loan from Mitsugoshi so I could buy the finest quality cakes!"
And this guy is definitely going to end up homeless.
When I got to school Alexia immediately grabbed my arm and dragged me away
"It's not fair," Po said holding back tears.
"Wait if you think about it, if we're close to Cid and Cid's close to Alexia, we have a good chance of dating her." Skel tried comforting.
I doubt those idiots would even get a chance to date a frog.
"What do you want" I asked Alexia
"We're going to train."
"Don't wanna."
This triggers Alexia to throw a single coin. Since I'm not cheap I don't pick it up.
"Still don't wanna."
"You're quite rebellious today aren't you."
Alexia throws a couple more coins since I know she keeps some at hand. Now this is where I do what she wants before I lose my income.
"I would love to go training with you Alexia."
"Yeah, yeah come on."
She starts dragging me to the training area. Classes have already started but I guess the rules don't apply to Alexia. After 30 minutes of me displaying my Mob-Fu techniques, Alexia was satisfied.
"Good work today Pooch." She flicked me a gold coin.
I'm a man who never says no to good money. But I don't know if acting like a dog is good money but I'll still take it.

After countless hours (It was only 2) I decided on a brilliant plan to get into contact with Shadow and that is to simply get kidnapped.
I don't have to do much since I'm a princess after all. I'm pretty sure people would get a pretty penny to try and get a ransom from me
. All I have to do is act like an unsuspecting princess who was wandering around at night and hopefully (not really) I'll get kidnapped.
I doubt that much is going to get Shadow or his organization's attention so I just have to hope it's the cult or something.
It might be a stupid plan but I barely know the guy so what am I supposed to think? And I think I'm strong enough to defend myself so I don't think anything too bad will happen to me.
When it comes to your siblings I think it is okay to be rash. But I'm not as rash as Cid's sister, Claire, who I think would declare war on a country for her brother.
The most I would declare war on for Cid would be Tuna King but that might be a stretch and I don't think Tuna King would kidnap an unimportant person such as Cid.
But anyways I just have to wait until night for me to be kidnapped which I never thought I would say. I do have a bad history of getting kidnapped after all.
