[Somewhere In Ultra Space]
Deep in the vastness of ultra space, a lone creature was flying through the cosmos at a fast speed, with one destination in mind- Earth!
It was a pink, bipedal creature with mammalian features. It has a rounded, wide snout; triangular ears; and large, blue eyes. It has short arms with three-fingered paws and large hind paws with oval markings on the soles. Its tail is long and thin with an ovoid tip. Its fur is so fine and thin, it can only be seen under a microscope.
This was no ordinary creature as this creature was in fact the ancestor of all mortal Pokemon, the new species Pokemon, Mew!
Mew was usually a very playful pokémon who enjoyed causing mischief every now and again and taking whatever he wanted, when he wanted. But this time the new species Pokemon had a serious expression on his face as he was making his way to Earth.
"Oh, I can't believe I'm doing this. I can't do anything about this as our kids gave me an order but why do we have to get someone from Earth to help us out in our world? I mean sure, the threat in Alola is great, and no one has dealt with this kind of threat in over thousands of years...Ha... I guess we need someone more accustomed to this level of danger! Now, what was the name of the mortal I'm supposed to find?"said Mew to himself, before he began to visually remember what Arceus had told him a few moments ago.
[Flashback]
"Mew, I need you to go to Earth and find a human who I have seen through my psychic plate as being the one to save Alola and possibly the rest of the Pokemon world."said the original one to the new species Pokemon.
"A human from Earth? Why? Can't we just pick out a champion from one of our own humans and let them go on this Great quest?"said Mew, wondering why they needed a human from Earth.
"Negative. This future threat is something that the Pokemon world has not seen in a very long time. It was a threat made by good intentions, but is a threat to the rest of the world. I'm afraid that my psychic powers have foretold that only a human from Earth can help stop this threat before it gets out of control."said Arceus to Mew.
"And what is this threat anyway?"inquired the new species Pokemon.
"I do not know. You and I both know that visions of the future are murky at best... so even I have no idea what this threat is, all I know is the name of the person who is destined to stop it."said Arceus, who felt helpless as he wishes she could do more for his children.
But that would end up breaking the treaty all the legendary and mythical pokémon have signed with each other to stay out of each other's territory, in order to not cause an unnecessary worldwide destruction of the Pokemon world. Even Arceus was bound by this code, as he was the one who thought of it and could not break it at any moment just because he felt like it, otherwise the consequences would be dire.
"Fine... so what's the name of this human I need to find?"inquired Mew, wondering what human he needed to find in order to stop the destruction of the Pokemon world.
"His name is Bruce Wayne, but he is famous throughout the Earth as the world's greatest detective, the cape crusader, The Dark Knight of Gotham, but to everyone he is known as the Batman!"said Arceus, giving Mew all the information he had on the human who was supposed to save Alola in the near future.
[Flashback End]
"I can't believe I have to come all the way to Earth just to find a champion to save our world. Well, if destiny wants this Bruce Wayne character to save the Pokemon world, then so be it. Hopefully he'll still be in one piece by the time I find them so he can help save our world during its darkest hour."said Mew to himself, before he arrived at his destination that was the Earth in the Solar System.
"Wow, this world is a lot more dangerous than mine. But considering the threat we're facing, I can see why Arceus and his future prediction could predict that this human is what we need to stop it. Now all I have to do is go down to this Gotham City and find Batman... Bruce Wayne... whatever he's called."said the new species pokémon to himself, before he began floating towards Northern America.
"I hope you're ready to save the Pokemon world Bruce Wayne!"said Mew to himself as he made his way towards Gotham City.
It was there that he intended to find the world's greatest detective in the form of Batman / Bruce Wayne! Mew had a single mission and one mission only!
Find Bruce Wayne and convince him to come to the Pokemon world, become a Pokemon trainer, and save the world from what would surely be a great catastrophe.
"Oh yeah, and I got to suppress some of his memories or something in order to make sure he doesn't fight with anything besides his pokémon as that would cause the other legendary Pokemon to get suspicious."said Mew, barely remembering the other detail Arceus told them before he left.
"Well... I better make myself invisible as I don't want to draw any unnecessary attention from the locals until I find Bruce Wayne."said Mew, before he coated himself in a veil and became invisible.
He then made his way through the atmosphere before he arrived at Gotham City, which he found dreadful as it was quite dark and spooky looking... with a feeling of dread all around. It certainly didn't help that it was raining.
'Where are you, Bruce Wayne?'thought the new species pokémon to himself, before he began flying through Gotham City to look for its resident superhero/vigilante, Batman AKA Bruce Wayne
I have decided to make the starter Pokemon Litten
Now I know some of you would say that Rowlet is the better option and on some points I agree with you. But there are also several points where I disagree with you and here they are.
One: Litten's final evolution, Incineroar is part dark type and he is The Dark Knight.
Two: It is known that Bruce Wayne is not very fond of owls ( Owlman and The Court of Owls)
Three: Litten is the best starter Pokemon for Pokemon Sun and Moon. (my personal opinion)
Four: Ash's Litten, eventually Incineroar had a similar backstory to Bruce Wayne in the anime, and it really moved me as it reminded me a lot about how Bruce lost his parents and became stronger because of it.
Five: Incineroar is a cat, Batman likes cats.
Those are just some of the reasons and I hope you agree with me.
Now, I will not regularly update this story as I have other stories to focus on, or maybe I will...I have a lot of ideas in my head and I have to get them out of my head or I feel like my head is going to explode.
Like I said in my story 'Dark Knight Of Paldea', I won't be making a whole series of Batman x Pokemon stories, where Batman goes to a bunch of Pokemon regions to help save the Pokemon world like a Pokemon trainer.
I will not listen to any haters saying that Batman will not do this or Batman will not do that... none of that nonsense!
This is fanfiction people in fanfiction is meant to bend the rules of Canon! That is why it is fanfiction!
