Chapter 8: The Ark part 2

"OK! We are in!" Moon Racer states as they enter the underground maintenance hatch of Gigastorm.

Moon! Keep it down! "Deep Cover hisses back as they maneuver through the halls. Groove rolls his eyes and glares at both of them and sends a comm link message that says "Both of you keep it down!"

Moon Racer just rolls her eyes but doesn't respond and continues on. After a few klicks Moon and Override notice a reflector drone in the hall. Override takes point, she aims her double barrel blaster straight ahead and fires a nulling bolt straight into the drones head. Before it can hit the ground Groove teleports ahead and catches the body and lays it down gently to not make any noise.

After a brief inspection, He points towards the left and lets Override and Moon take point down the hallway. They hurry down and find the terminal they were looking for. Groove and Deep Cover get to work on breaking through the firewalls while Moon watches over them. Override hugs the corner and opens her comm links " Smoke, Flare, how is it going out there?"

Outside, A femme bot visually similar to Prowl but in blue and gold responds. "Nothing noticeable ma'am! Just 2 drones that Flare needs to rewrite away from us." Smoke Signal looks at Flare-up who has her control screen opened, currently controlling the drones movements. She turns and flashes Smoke and thumbs up and a smirk and gets back to work. "In postition for when ever this goes down."

"Great work you 2, we are nearly ready on our end, remember. DON'T be heroes. You take care of the immediate guards and then get OUT!" Smoke Flare sighs but responds to Override. "Understood ma'am, and be safe" Smoke then disconnects the line and goes back to look out.

Override closes her comm and walks back to the group. "How is it progressing?" Deep Cover looks up from his position. "We are through the fire walls, loading up the security system…now." As he finishes the sentence the terminal loads up several options including cell controls, guard positions and schedules, and a prisoner's manifest.

"Perfect! How long will it take to pinpoint the location of all remaining autobot prisoners and make a path to get them out." Override questions. Groove then answers. "About…6 klicks, there isn't…many prisoners to find." Override is speechless before responding. "..There were 126 autobots captured and processed according to our information…how many are left?"

After a brief search, Deep Cover looks back over towards with a remorseful face"….34 autobots are listed to still be alive" Override recoils from the news while Moon Racer cover her mouth in shock and horror.

"...Come on..we can't afford to mourn right now…we have others to save…Deepcover, get us a route to their location." Deepcover nods at Override and gets back to the terminal. "There are about 23 in normal cells, the other 11 are in the med bay."

"Hmm…Alright, Deep Cover with me. We will go to the cells. Groove and Moon Racer, you go towards the med bay. Once the paths are set we move in fast, understood?" Everyone nods and run off in their directions.

"Sir, the security system in Gigastorm prison has gone down. It's happening now." Shockwave hands a data pad towards Megatron.

"Perfect! Have our soldiers on a transport instantly and get ready to send Needlenose towards the ark the moment it launches." Shockwave nods, the one piece of information that couldn't be fully decrypted was the exact coordinates so getting a tracker on the ark will cut out the search.

Shockwave leaves the room and Mgeatron stares out the windows towards iacon, wearing a giant smirk. 'Soon Prime, we will finish this...you can't run that easily from me."

On the way to the iacon command center, a transport driven by Wrecker commander Kup is on the way to deliver Wingblade and Arcee to the ark. And beside him is a red and orange race car from velocitron. His job is as an escort and he's also Kup's student so he keeps him close. But young Hot Rod, has plans.
