I've never found it hard to get out of bed, but since its Saturday, I want to get some extra sleep. It hasn't stopped raining since last night, making my bed extra cozy. However, I roll out of bed and sit down at my piano, and lose myself in the music.

Plagg sits nearby and listens, and I feel warm all over. Mother taught me how to play the piano when I was small, and its been one of things I've always loved, because it made me feel close to her.

The last note fades away slowly. "That was beautiful," a voice says from the window and I rush over. "Love, your sopping wet. You didn't have to come this early. Is everything okay?"

Before she can answer, I grab her by the hand and lead her into the bathroom. "Sit here, and I'll dry you hair." Its hard to talk with the whirr of the blow-dryer, but I don't want her to catch cold. After her hair is fluffy and dry, I begin to run a comb through it. "I didn't sleep well last night," Ladybug says, and I notice her voice sounds a bit dull, and her eyes when I look at them in the mirror seem sad.

"Were you up during the night, or tossing and turning?" "Either. I can't stop thinking about the woman I met, Adrien. And I….." she bites her lip. "I'm tired of hiding behind my mask." I swivel her in the chair so that I'm facing her. "I'm not going to leave you." "Then why I am so scared?" Thunder rumbles loudly before I can give her a answer. "Could we try the blindfold trick? I have a couple in one of the drawers." "Okay," she says in her softest voice. "But only for a few minutes."

With her guidance and blindfold firmly in place, I take her hands. "When your ready, my love." She's now sitting on the bathroom counter so she's about my height. "On three. One. Two. Three."

"Spots Off," she whispers, just as I say, "I love you." "I like that more then saying three," she giggles. I smile and my hand finds her face, cupping her cheek gently. So soft is her skin underneath my fingertips, and wearing the blindfold heightens the sensation. "Adrien, would you give me some butterfly kisses?" "Of course. Now, let me find your eyes."

We bump noses at first, but finally I find my target and she sighs a tiny sigh. I feel her finally relaxing, and I work my way to her lips. It feels like we've just begun, when she pulls back and calls it good.

She's my Bugaboo when I untie the blindfold. My stomach growls and she pokes my tummy. "My, my, we need to get that fed. And still in your pajamas, I see." "You pick out my clothes. You want to be a designer, after all." Ladybug's eyes light up wickedly. "What if I pick out a potato sack?" "You wouldn't dare."

Holding hands, we exit the bathroom and head over to the closet. Presently, I'm just wearing shorts and a tank top. "Handbags and sweaters, you have more clothes then a clothing store!"

She wanders over to the sweaters, rifling through them critcally. Muttering to herself, she selects a turquiose colored one, and picks out a fuzzy peach one looking over at me. I might be blushing the color of the sweater as I tell her, "Er, love, peach isn't really my color." "Its not for you, I was wondering if I could wear it?" I nod. "If you like it that much, its yours." Grinning, she slips it on over her head, then starts to struggle. "Who turned out the lights?" I laugh, walking over, helping her find the right armholes and finally it slips over her suit. "There you are, Bugaboo." She gasps, blushing, but dosen't comment.

With some soft ripped jeans, she deems me ready to get dressed as she walks past me. "I'll be on the couch, but don't take to long."

When the door shuts behind her, I chuckle. Slowly, she's starting to act like her usual Bugaboo self. However, when I emerge, she's staring at the picture on my piano of my mother. "Their so smilair," she whispers. "Who?" "The lady I met yesterday, in Tibet. I feel like I'm missing something." I slip a arm around her shoulder. "Yeah, breakfast and your morning coffee. We can solve mysteries later."

We order pancakes and hot chocolate at a cute little diner and stare at the pouring rain. "Adrien, I need to leave Paris for a few days. I need to figure out if that's truly Hawkmoth's castle." "I don't want you going alone. At least take Cat with you." That way I can protect her, and none of my recent nightmares will come true. "And besides, you'd be captured on sight. Hawkmoth knows what you look like even with a different mask."

"Love,I need to do this. And I'll come up with a better disugiuse. I wonder if you could even figure out who I am." I fiddle with my fork. "I'm sorry," I drop my eyes to my plate. "Adrien." her voice is gentle but firm. "I'm being selfish, I know, but I can't lose you." "Would it make you feel better if I checked in with you every day?" I take a breath, steadying myself. "Talk to your partner." "And why not you?" "Because your everything to me." "I can't make any promises, but I'll try."

When I finally lift my eyes, I ask, "How long will you be gone?" "That all depends on what I find out."

After we finish eating, I open the umbrella and head out into the rain. "Before you go, come with me." I lead her to alleyway with a overhang. The air is fresh and clean as we kiss, holding onto each other in the rain.

We whisper sweet nothings to each other, then for awhile, we just stand there, forehead touching. "I should go, but I'll see you soon." I have to force my hands to let go of her waist. "I love you, Ladybug." "You remind me of my partner in so many ways," comes her response. "And just when I think I have both of you figured out you surprise me in the best possible way. And I love you too."

One last kiss, one last lingering gaze. I wait until she's disappeared before I transform, and leap to the rooftops. Finding my hidden spot from the rain, I stare out at the falling droplets. My heart already misses her, but she is in fact in my heart.

I catch sight of her walking with her head held high, showing her strength and confidence. If she can brave, so can I.

Though you will leave me for a time,

I hold you in my heart.

Be wise in your decisions, my love,

For I know you will do what's right.

Thunder starts to boom around me, and cold and soggy, I head for home where though my love is not there, family still recedes there.

Showering and dressing, I walk over to Felix's room. "Ladybug's on a mission, will you distract me?" Felix sits up, grinning. "I do need a chess partner. Care to join me?"

And so that's how the first afternoon goes, us playing chess and retelling old times. Though this pain in my heart maybe painful and throbbing, I'll give my all to keep smiling.
