AN: Another chapter.

Hinata did like meeting her.

The moment she had shown up in her room, she had hugged her, was busy saying 'Thank you' for seemingly every little thing the Shadowkhan that had saved her had done in the brief time together.

'One of them walked her home?' Jade hadn't known that. The surprise didn't show on her face, not that Hinata could see it with the way she had wrapped her arms around her. She patted the girl on the back, didn't exactly know what to do for a moment.

"Hey, hey, it was no biggie." Jade really didn't want her to start crying. She would be at an utter lost on what to do then. "Those two are total softies. They were going to keep you safe from a couple of bad guys no matter what." She was not ready for those pale eyes to look up at her, seemed to actually be close to crying.

"Really?" Jade could honestly only nod, smile at the girl who had been through a rather terrifying experience. "C-Could I see them? To thank them too."

"You got it." 'Alright, I can work with this.' She threw in a wink to the girl, brought her hands up and clapped them together in a familiar show. The shadows around the room immediately began moving, swirling into two spots in front of her and where Hinata had twisted around to see what was going on. "Come on out and say 'Hi' you two."

She had never tried to summon particular individual Shadowkhan before but she trusted the process was the same as the usual. If nothing else, she could just have them fake recognizing Hinata.

She didn't know how she did it but she seemed to have actually pulled it off, the two Ninjakhan familiar enough for Hinata to smile at them and launch into a fresh bout of 'Thank you'. Jade couldn't help but smile at the sight.

"Don't keep her up too late you two." She waved goodbye to Hinata, disappeared into the shadows. She left a pinch of Shadow Magic behind, the Shadowkhan would dismiss themselves once Hinata was ready to go to sleep.

She reappeared from Hiashi's shadow, made his pair of guards almost jump out of their sandals.

"Hey." She walked with Hiashi in the brightly lit halls, watched as he waved off his two guards when they snapped out of their shock, one made to grab a kunai. She made a show of her too-white fangs. "Oh, don't mind him. Try it."

"Do not antagonize my clan." Hiashi continued walking, clearly expected for Jade to follow after him.

Her glowing red eyes flashed as a taunt to the two before she joined him at his side, matching her stride with his.

"They make it too easy." She was tempted to drag a claw over the walls to leave a scratch down the hall but decided against something so childish. For now. If one of them annoyed her, she'd have no problem doing just that and more. "Anyway, I wanted to tell you I left two of my guys with Hinata. Once she heads to bed, they'll be gone."

"I see." Hiashi didn't comment any further.

'Weird…but Kushina and Minato are fine with them around Naruto. I guess Shinobi make for weird parents?' Jade pushed it out her mind.

"So…anything you want to tell me so I don't have to spend the next few days spying on you?" Jade's smile was half mischievous and half earnest. She honestly didn't want to spend the next week just spying on the Hyuga. If she could cut it short, she would like to.

Either way, she would get what she needed.

"…You are unabashedly arrogant." Hiashi's words only earned a roll of her eyes. It wasn't the first time she had heard someone describe her like that and it wouldn't be the last.

"It's not like we both don't already know how this is going to end." Jade lifted a hand into the air, made a show of it, and snapped her fingers.

The instant beforehand, she called for her Shadow Magic.

Light fled the halls.

Countless red eyes surrounded the four of them in the darkness. They belonged to the Shadowkhan of all kinds that now stood motionless around them. Hiashi's two guards were frozen, had weapons drawn and their Kekkei Genkai active but that seemed to only make it worse. One of them was visibly shaking, could barely keep a hold on his kunai, and the other couldn't decide if he should be frozen with terror or make a mad dash forward.

Hiashi, admirably, didn't react to the show.

Well, not as extremely as his guards. He kept himself from lashing out, from doing something rash.

Her red eyes met his own pale gaze.

"There is nowhere in the world anyone can hide from me." She was stating a fact. "Whatever you plan to do, I'm going to figure it out and report it to Minato. I'm offering you an easy way out: Tell me whatever it is now and you'll have your privacy back. If you try to keep it from me, I won't be as nice as I am now."

She dropped her hand and the world returned to normal.

She spun the kunai she had a Shadowkhan swipe by the ring at the end. The Hyuga it belonged to finally noticed it's absence, made an admirable try at not just dropping to the ground at how close he must've been to a Shadowkhan. She made a show of consuming the weapon in Shadow Magic, twisting and shaping the metal into…

For a moment, she didn't know what to do.

She was imbuing it with a minor summoning spell, a simple bit of Shadow Magic that would bring it to her attention no matter where she was. IAlthough it couldn't be something that could be constantly calling her attention, would need to be intentionally used to invoke the spell.

And keep any potential side effects to a minimum.

She needed something that wouldn't be out of place on Hiashi's person…

'That'll do.' She snapped open a war fan. The 'paper' inside was a deep blue, the spokes inside a familiar red, and stamped on the black cover was an impression of her mask.

Of Tarakudo's.

She made a show of fanning herself with it, made a show of the way the 'wind' was far from simple wind. It was a wave of Shadow Magic, darkened the hall around her the more and more it was waved. She snapped it closed, returned the fading light to the halls when the source was sealed.

With a smile, she held it out to Hiashi.

He accepted it if nothing else.

"Think about it." She was already walking off into a wall. "You know how to reach me if you want to talk."

She left the three alone.

AN: Should be a weekly, biweekly update for this. If things go accordingly.

Also, Jade is scarily powerful. If nothing else, take that from what's happened/been mentioned so far in this story.

Review/PM if you want.

Peace.
