"Ugh, so lame..."
In a random cafe, Cid Kageno, no longer in his 'Shadow Persona', and just in his regular 'Mob' self, was currently sitting down, enjoying a cup of coffee with some cake, and looking through a phone that he most likely stole from someone, while wearing a very annoyed expression.
"This is why I hate the idea of being a superhero, like, what's the point of being super strong and declaring you want to protect everyone if you have a dumbass rule of 'Never Go As Low As The Villain', ugh."
Cid was using the phone to look through multiple articles and videos of the many Heroes that exist in the world he is in; like Batman, obviously, but also others, like a cape figure with a 'S' chest, a guy with some spider themes, a lady who is apparently wonderful, the literal concept of America with a frisbee, a guy who can run, a big green man with issues, and many many more. While he can't deny how impressive some of them are, he can't help but look at most of them with rolling eyes.
"I mean, fair, you shouldn't kill every bad guy you meet, especially if they are either weakling normal plebs, or only did petty crime like stealing candy from a baby, but still, with someone like the clown that I just killed last night, from what I've been reading and seeing, I'm honestly surprised all of Gotham hasn't been evaluated and left to rot, my God."
Cid sighed as he turned off the phone and simply decided to continue drinking his coffee, though he was still thinking about the situation he was in.
"But hey, I should be thanking them, because it just means I can swoop in and steal their glory that they refuse to take, 'I Actually Clean Up The World That You Claim To Protect', hah, so cool, gotta use that line in the future!~"
Cid couldn't help but laugh to himself as he had already come up with some ideas on how to use this whole thing to his advantage and make his 'Eminence In Shadow' performance much more awesome and fun.
"But I'm getting ahead of myself."
Cid then looked up at the sunny sky and wore a small frown, deep in thought over something
"Even if I want to start my new Arc as Shadow, I actually got to know my new characters I'll be facing and understand the layout of my stage, it would be so embarrassing to be cool, yet get cucked by someone who can punch away planets, hm."
Cid couldn't help but cringe at the thought of him doing his usual Shadow act, only to be immediately countered by some random hero, or even worse, a villain, who didn't give less than two shits about him and basically told him to fuck off into hell.
"My 2nd old world, it was simple to understand, and not to brag, but I was sure that I was the strongest there, but here, the game is different, more difficult and runs its own sets of rules, what i use to consider strong, is now nothing here, which is a little BS."
Cid then wore a small, evil yet very eager smile; instead of seeing his new surroundings as something negative, it instead made him beyond excited, no doubt already having plans for what he wanted to do here.
"But that just opens a new set of possibilities in getting stronger, either in magic, martial arts, weapons, or others, hehe, can't wait to explore such things~"
Cid quickly finished his drink and dessert before getting up and walking away from the area, now with new goals and ideas to look forward to.
"I'm gonna have so much fun here~... Too bad the girls aren't here with me…"
Meanwhile, at some sort of secret but highly advanced military base, a large group of soldiers, ranging from average gunners to a few with more advanced weapons and tech, were currently surrounding a mysterious stranger in a cloak, face hidden from everyone. This had been enough to make the soldiers stay on guard and not move their weapons away from what they were aiming.
"State your business, and maybe I won't have to kill you where you stand."
And the one who appeared to be in charge, judging by his commanding presence and wearing a cool looking techno screen helmet, was in the middle of standing before the mystery person and started questioning them with a serious tone, clearly not messing around; the cloaked figure just simply let out a small sigh, as they removed their hood and revealed their face to everyone.
"My name is Alpha, and I would appreciate it if you help me with my new situation that I find myself in…"
I chose Alpha meeting Arkham Knight, I think they could benefit from one another and are somewhat similar in a sense, if you somewhat ignore A.K wanting to kill Batman, but you get what I mean right?
(You know what, starting right now, DC and Marvel will take place in the same world, because to me personally, I don't think it would be unbelievable to see those worlds exist in the same place, also they are to similar in my opinion, in fact, I think it might make the story much more interesting and such, so yeah, expect to see characters like Spider-Man and Hulk and others in this story, though what are your thoughts on it?)
