Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Red vs Blue. Enjoy the 3700-word chapter. I do not own RvB, Rooster Teeth does.

Church sighed as he realized neither team got much… He got two more soldiers to babysit and the others got 2 others to…. It vexed him but he decided if they were not as stupid as Caboose or annoying as Tucker. He could deal with it.

There was something which needed to be done in… Something along with it all that conflicted him… That tossed him into a very deep pit.

He looked at them. The lankier soldier was known as James and he was the more serious of the pair he was the more serious of them, and from what it sounded like? Almost entirely like Sarge… With some attempts to be amusing.

The other was one of his friends… Who had probably tried to boast about 20 times about how great he was during the war which had ended…. And which Church could guess he did not fight in given the fact that he said nothing when Tex confronted him upon it now.

There was something about it that made him almost question if they had been a part of the war at all… He did not know and he did not entirely care. There was a part of him that might but it was not on the table… Not now and not ever for now… It did not even seem to stick in him that the other guy was more of an idiot than Caboose at times.

Church still chose to stand before the entire Blue Team… Which? To be fair? Appeared to be more than the Reds had if that was possible… Somehow, he had a bigger team than Sarge which almost made him want to chuckle at it when push came to shove on the edge of his seat now.

There was a lot more to see and do with it for now. There was more to it as he paused to think of it. Church looked over at them, guessing without many words what had been done to fix it for now.

He looked around the room, guessing that this was as good as it appeared to have been… Even if they wished for something better than this… They could not allow it now, not when it was clear something else would occur.

It would become clear within it all that he could not change that at the very least, it would be hard enough to unscrew something like that now when push had come to shove.

Such was nice enough to attempt something…. But that led to a much bigger problem than before.

"So… This Blue Team, we're all really happy to have you…. Now leave me alone." Church said before Tucker snorted.

"Great pep talk, Church," Tucker muttered.

"Hey, I have to deal with your crap and Caboose trying to blow me up. I don't think I care a lot about how I do things so much as getting them done." Church stated.

"The explosion makes pretty fireworks." Caboose stated.

"If either of you are taking orders from Church? You're not smarter than you look." Tex said.

"Lady? You're the one still working with us. They must pay you a fortune." Tucker stated.

"Uh…. Sir, what exactly…. Do you want from us?" James asked before Church sighed.

"Nothing besides your undying support, James," Church stated before he looked over across the way at the base.

He could not tell what the Reds were up to… Mostly because he could not see them and what he COULD see was not going to help at all.

The Reds had their problems and he had his…. And he was fine with having his so long as they got to relax, so long as they could shake it off and go traipsing around like they knew something. they did not, they could not.

To him? Trying to understand it was never going to work because it would always be the same. They had something else to deal with for now, deal with more issues than it could be.

He held no illusions as to how insane this was…. And how crazy it would feel.

He knew more and more with each little idea; with each little idea, he could have properly figured out what was running from them now. He knew damn well what was going on.

He felt a lot more interested, a lot more distracted from it. There was something there, something about the entire ride…. Knowing it was not going to end well did… Things, a lot of them could not end up doing… Not once could he have done it and not once could he have done something.

Church was not stupid, not even a little. He knew very well what had been done, what was going on now.

What he did do next? It was not going to be enough…. Not for him, not yet. He had zero seconds to care, to act now when push came to shove, and knowing that it was all too good to be true.

They had a little group and Church had control over it… Church did, however, know that there was nothing here now.

"Hey, Tex?" Church asked to which the Freelancer slowly started to turn, more confused than angered with his response.

"Yes?" Tex asked as Church hummed.

"You know how to fly that thing?" Church asked as he gestured to the pelican which had brought them all here.

"Yeah…." Tex said before Church hummed.

"Ok, screw it. We are going on vacation." Church said before hopping down and darting towards the pelican.

"Hell yeah, sun and fun!" Sister said as Tucker hummed.

"Wait… He is not screwing with us, is he?" Tucker asked before Tex sighed.

"Just get on the damn pelican, Tucker." Tex hissed before turning to James and his friend. "You both coming?" Tex asked before they shrugged.

"Weirdest first day on the job," James said before Tucker chuckled.

"Gonna pick up some sweet chicks with that thing, bow chika…" Tucker stated before Church elbowed the blue in the back.

"Wait, what about Shiela?" Tex asked before Church hummed.

"Didn't you say this thing could carry a tank?" Church asked before he looked at the freelancer.

"Ugh…." Tex muttered as she realized that Church was going to mess with her.

"I'm picking where we are going," Tex muttered as Church shrugged.

He did not care. The command was not going to send another murder merc to come to get them if they were not here… That? And he had earned it even if command wanted to whine and scream. If he was killed? Well, it would not stop the Blue, he was a damn ghost.

Plus? It was not like he cared much for this place. It was a rock; it was a very big damn rock and they had people to fight at the end of the rock… He would live not being.

There was a lot more to this for now as he paused to let it come down for now as he clicked his fingers. If they wanted him dead so bad? If they wanted to screw with him? Fine, have at it. He would wait, he would wait and he would screw with them on a nice sandy beach.

There were a lot of things at the end of the day, one of which was just how bad it could have been then…. There was a logic… One which needed to be decided in the best way possible…. It was clear now and either way, this was going to be enough to fix it for now.

He said screw it even as he decided to go forwards with it to the end of it.

If they wanted to shoot him? They could have done so without wasting so many damned resources on this, no, instead, it seemed they wanted the most roundabout idea of letting him shuffle off the mortal coil.

Maybe this place was where all the trash went when they were done with things, it made sense considering they could not just screw off. Whoever the hell command did not seem to care, just wanting out of their misery to let them suffer.

Granted? Church did not CARE who they were but they might be mad he left.

Well, it sucks to suck at least. They had made up their mind and Church really did not care if something went wrong, he truly did not care and did not wish to care for now… Something about it all was going on more and more and more.

(With both the Reds and VIC)

Vic could not for the life of him not panic. Why? Because his charges were escaping, they were fleeing from where he had been tasked with keeping them, admittingly? He also could not do much to keep them there for that would cause problems, very much problems now.

Whatever it could have been like? It was not going to be enough and he cursed every single fiber of his being on why this was happening… He had no damn idea as to how it would have gone either way.

There were a lot of things that needed to be done and needed to be handled for now which needed to be done and dusted either way.

V.I.C cursed and fell silent, all the way to the end of the day when it had been properly figured out for now at the end of their scheming and such.

He needed a way to do this without causing problems for his boss. He did not know what was growing for now as he paused to try and figure out what was being done.

He sighed and then looked to the side before he paused. The only option was to inform the boss and make sure that something else was occurring.

He was too eagerly awaiting an idea, too fascinated, and too unwilling to admit he had failed.

"Uh… Boss? You might want to get on the phone." Vic stated before he sighed.

(Project Freelancer flagship Mother of Invention)

The Director cursed, angry and ready to punch something, breaking it into pieces and wishing to try and figure it out when it came down to this.

He was annoyed, very annoyed, and very unable to try and deal with this. He had been distracted and knew that if he did not act? He would lose the Alpha; he could not let the Alpha escape him.

"Get me Agent Carolina and whoever can be sent out long term." The director stated.

He cursed and then growled before he looked to the side once more as he realized he had one asset slipping away from his control.

He had been too interested in what he needed to be occurring for now, he prayed for some sort of answer as he looked to the side once more.

The Director had been too eager to catch his prize, something that needed to occur now and for good reason.

Carolina was the only ace in the hole he had and yet he was sacrificing it to attempt something else. Still? He had some further plans to try and gain anything but amusement for now.

He had been too eager, too fascinated by it while he tried to figure it all out, knowing that something short of pain was going to be dealt with for now but he had so much to deal with.

He was too distracted with what to do and deal with this problem directly. He would be tossing away an asset that he needed to use.

He was growing to let himself scream inside as he realized just what was being tossed to the side and what he would have to sacrifice when it came to winning something now, he had more than now to figure out.

Yes, he had been prepared, far more prepared for now. He had work, a lot of work at the end of the day. That came with being the pack mule of the group, of being the one people blamed for when things went lopsided.

He sighed and then thought of himself before he thought once more, he thought of the next way he could properly proceed. He was to try and cut through to let it go when all of it was said and done.

He had been distracted, he had been eager to let it come crashing to the ground in fire and flames. This was how he would win.

The only problem was he was going to win by undercutting all the hard work he had done to try and figure things out when it was all said and done.

The pain he held in his mind was boggling, he did not wish to try and figure it out. He was too interested in what was growing on his mind.

The sound of boots made him silent as he remembered it, she did not wish to deal with it for now.

"Carolina? It seems agent Texas has taken something of mine, I need your help." Carolina stated before she looked to the side.

Carolina hummed and looked at the monitor, her eyes blaring with hate…. Even as her lips formed a smirk.

Carolina was silent, she was far too silent as she wished to try and figure it out once more… They had been too much for now as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

(With Tex and Blue Team)

"So, what are we doing, just going until we ran out of space gas?" Tucker asked.

"No… We are finding more; we just need more and more fuel… And then when we find somewhere to land? If we land when that is over? We get to work." Tex said.

"This is a nice boat." Caboose stated. "Shiela, why is the boat flying?" Caboose stated.

"You know… Every time I come up with a stupid plan? You yell at me, now? Oh, let us just leave, fine." Tex heard.

"Well, maybe because your first plan got me killed and you spent half the time whining like a baby," Tex stated as Church snorted.

"You are the one who showed up when I got hurt, I do not think you had to show up… You just did." Church stated.

To be entirely fair? He held onto too much for now as he sighed. Church could not have thought of leaving Blood Gulch, the place was as much home as everything else, he hated it… But every baby bird had to spread its wings in his mind.

He knew of nothing on his mind. Nothing that he could have dealt with it for now. He was a soldier once and for all and yet here he was, dealing with Blue Team like a father. He could not have dealt with this the same way.

He had been too eager to figure it all out when he had been willing to promote himself. Now? Now he had duties and he did not wish to try and figure them out, so much about it was fun and he had too much on his mind to care as of now.

He did not think of what he could do, only that he had to deal with it. He did not like being the commander and being the commander was something that he had to deal with another time and another session now when it was all said and done.

He could not think of anything else, not that he wanted it for now.

He knew more and more that something was going on and it was going to be odd for now. He could not have done something to stop it.

Not that he wanted… Or wished to, he did not care enough to be figuring it out now and he did not wish to. Church was not so much a soldier as an opportunist and he would not trade it for anything else.

He sighed to himself as he looked over at Tex, guessing that she of all people was probably going to be insane.

"You should know that there are a lot of things I do not know what is going on… We have a lot of work to deal with for now." Tex stated as the others snorted.

"Translation?" Church asked.

"I have no damn clue what the hell to do when we get back there. We stay there? The longer we end up getting in trouble." Church heard.

He sighed to himself before he realized what it meant fair and damn square. The Freelancers were not happy their best agent was heading out and was deciding to deal with work.

Church was silent, why? He knew damn well what it would mean, what it was, and how to have figured it out.

Tex stated silent, probably guessing how Church felt and not caring much, not that there was something that he did not wish to…

It was bothering him but he did not care, he held onto more than she did… He handled it more than she did.

He had no problem with that. Project Freelancer? Yeah, he had a problem and he knew that she did as well. Tex took several deep breaths like she was about to die now.

All of her was angered and all of it was still inside of her now. She did not care how well it held; she did care when she realized just how well things would end up working out now…

What neither knew was what was going on. if they did? They might have punched it a bit harder.

Tucker and Caboose both looked at each other than the two rookies who had been with them. Why? Because they knew neither was aware of how insane things were with either group.

It was clear to them something was going to be expected, they probably expected some awesome leader who could shoot fire out of his hands and punch out trains… Not a dude who was running on fumes.

To be fair? Neither cared much for it now or for good. They had a lot more to deal with for now and for good reason at the end of the day.

Not that they would probably know or care when it came down to it all the way.

She would not let it end, not now and not for good reason. If they were found? Well, everyone would have been screwed either blasted way now and for good.

He had been too able to think of it when it came down to it, they had a LOT more to try and figure it out when it came down to it. He had been able to think and to fight through it once more.

He had a LOT more to try and figure it out now as it was all said and done when push came to shove, such an idea was growing on his mind.

Church seemed to be done in as he clicked his fingers and then leaned on the wall, too easily thrown off now when it came to it.

She and he were different in such ideas, they held a LOT more to try and figure out… Tex was odd for now as he paused, looking to the side but once more? They had a LOT of ideas when it came down to it.

She and he were different in the end, for now, such an IDEA was growing more. She and he were different, it would come to it once more.

She and he would need to figure it out but he… Church seemed to be done and dusted with it for now as he seemed to be thrown to the damn wolves or something. It was very odd and very unneeded for now.

Church sighed as the pelican flew through the void of space, wherever they ended up. They had a LOT to do to figure out now and for good reason.

To be fair? Church also knew damn well they had ZERO idea of what to do and how to do it… Such a thing was odd but beyond him. Why? Because he knew more and more when it came down to it as of the time being.

Church did not get Tex half the time… But now? Well, he had a LITTLE better idea than before, a LITTLE better clue.

He sighed, tired, exhausted. Yes, it seemed as if he had a lot harder an idea on his mind, many of which he did not have now.

"So, we going to talk about how this thing is almost out of gas?" Tucker stated.

"We are not… The Pelican relies on a fusion reactor which is in no danger of breaking down with several ways to properly refuel, all of which can be found in space." Shiela stated as Tucker frowned.

Tex only paused to look to the side, more than a little off put by it all. She knew that these soldiers… Idiots or not? Were her family and despite her better judgment? She had come to like most of them even if she also wanted to strangle them all in their sleep.

Granted? That was kinda how family worked but it was clear even a little bit that a LOT of different things were preventing it from happening well and for good reason.

There were a lot of different ideas on the line, a LOT of different things to deal with now.

Something about it all became harder and harder… They were all tossed to the forefront… She of all people was tired.

And then came the warnings of the craft needing to set down on the nearest planet. She sighed before she looked to Church and gestured to the craft.

She seemed to be thinking of it to the end.

She had been thrown off. They had a lot more to deal and all of it bothered her when she was able to think.

Tex wished to relax, she wished to be over it when it was all said and done with it all. Tex wanted it over.
