Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here things are escalating following what happened from the previous chapter…where the battle against the three Phantoms escalated as Midoriya got ambushed by the first two…while the third is on a killing spree…until someone comes in...and that's where our wizards would get to use their magic rings in battle…

The scene shifts at the hospice where the Catoblepas Phantom had just decimated the hospice and killed everyone inside, except for an elderly man who managed to escape the onslaught but the Catoblepas Phantom caught him and is savoring the moment but then he glanced at the elderly man and smirked as he felt that he got a prize and there he told the elderly man that he will spawn a Phantom right away, which terrified the elderly man.
"Heh. Talk about being lucky…"
"N-no…"
"Consider yourself fortunate. You survived, only to be sacrificed…"
"Get away from me…"
"I'm going to savor this…"
"Don't kill me…"
"And Wiseman is going to be pleased…"
"H-help…someone help me…!"
By then Endeavor and his sidekicks arrived and saw what happened to the hospice, which was burning while in ruins, and there Burnin, Kido and Onima survey the ruins and saw all of the elderly persons were brutally killed, and told Endeavor about it, while Makoto Tsukauchi saw Catoblepas Phantom smirking as he is fixated at the elderly man, and there Makoto realized that the elderly man is a gate.
Endeavor glanced at Makoto after hearing her muttering that the surviving elderly man is a gate, and he asked her about it and there Endeavor had a bit of difficulty trying to understand what Makoto just told him, as he is still unfamiliar about Gates and Phantoms and whatnot.
By then Haimawari arrived and is shocked at seeing the hospice lie in ruins while seeing the Catoblepas Phantom holding the remaining survivor, and there he confronted the Phantom and demanded to know what is he trying to do, which the Phantom said that this man will give birth to a Phantom so that the Sabbath would take place again, and like Endeavor, Haimawari seemingly did not understand what the Catoblepas Phantom is implying.
"Huh? What was that?"
"You heard me!"
"?"
"This geezer will die!"
"And…?"
"After that a Phantom will be born!"
"Is that so…?"
"Got a problem with that?"
As Haimawari is gearing up, Endeavor was observing the scene while figuring out a way to rescue the surviving senior citizen without harming him, and there the rest of the Sidekicks arrived and began to cordon the area as Burnin, Kido and Onima approached Endeavor and discreetly asked for instructions on what to do next.
"Endeavor!"
"Endeavor!"
"Endeavor!"

"Your orders, sir!"
"What should we do?"
"Awaiting your instructions sir!"
"…"
The Endeavor Hero Team are bracing themselves as they await a possible opening so that they can rescue the hostage and then take down the Phantom, not knowing what is about to happen next.

Ch. 33: Mahō ishi to atarashī yubiwa part 4
The elderly man is trying to fight his way out but is too weak to do so because of his advanced age, as he is revealed to be 80 years old, and there the Catoblepas Phantom mockingly advised the senior citizen to submit as he no longer have the right to refuse yet the elderly man is stubborn as he said that the Phantom will pay for killing all of his friends at the hospice.
"Heh. Talk about being stubborn yet in high spirits…"
"D-damn you…"
"Huh…? Did you say something…?"
"You…killed my friends…!"
"Yeah? And I'm proud of it…"
"You'll pay…"
"Sure, sure…"
"I swear…I'll make you pay…!"
Haimawari decided to go forward and confront the Phantom, but then he saw the Catoblepas Phantom strangle the elderly man before throwing him to the ground, where CRACKS began to manifest around his body, which Haimawari recalled what he saw a few days ago, and this made him realize what is about to happen, which Makoto also realized what would happen if the elderly man is not rescued in time, and there she told Haimawari that right now he is the only one who can save that man.
"Oh no! The elderly man!"
"Is he…?"
"Yes…just like the other day!"
"Oh damn…"
"You got to save him like what you did the other day! Otherwise he'll die and turn into another Phantom!"
"!"
"Please save him!"
"Okay, I got it!"
As Haimawari is getting ready, the Catoblepas Phantom charges forward as he intend to gore his target, which Haimawari dodges the charge and the Phantom ended up careening against a parked car, its horns got stuck and there Haimawari took the chance as he began to waved his arms and hands in a circular motion before his left hand, in a closed fist gesture, makes contact on the left side of the belt, which is the Beast-Driver, in which his ring, having an emblem of a lion, entering the Beast-Driver's left slot and turned it in a key ignition-like twist, which the belt's "doors" opened and a voice spoke to confirm the Beast-Driver's "magical transformation", which is now initialized.
Beast-Driver: "SET...OPEN! L-I-O-N...LION!"
A pentagram-shaped magical circle appeared after the Beast-Driver's "doors" opened and slowly went forward, knocking the Catoblepas Phantom back before it stopped and went towards the Haimawari, enveloping him and now the young man is enveloped in black armor, while his outer armor is gold with designs and crest of a lion, especially his helmet, and he is now transformed into Kamen Rider Beast.
Endeavor and his sidekicks stared wide-eyed in surprise as this is the first time seeing this and wondered if what Haimawari did just now is part of his Quirk, and there the sidekicks asked Endeavor what should they do, in which he told his Sidekicks to observe for now as they are going to determine whether Haimawari is a threat or not, which the Sidekicks reluctantly nodded in acknowledgement.
"Keep an eye…see where this lead to…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"And wait for my call. I'll let you know when we will strike."
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
By then the Catoblepas Phantom broke free and charged towards Beast, which the latter attempted to parry the impact, but the Catoblepas Phantom was quite strong as he physically resemble a humanoid-looking cape buffalo, and there he was able to knock Beast back before delivering a series of headbutt attacks using his horns, which knocked Beast silly.
Endeavor noticed that Makoto is watching the battle with such intensity but then Endeavor is quite worried that the Catoblepas Phantom might make an escape attempt should he win, and there he discreetly told Burnin, Kido and Onima to get ready, as he said that as soon as he give thr order, they are going to take down the Phantom, which they nodded in acknowledgement.
"Burnin, Kido, Onima…get ready…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"On my word…take that monster down, and unleash everything you got. Understand?"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
As the Catoblepas Phantom is getting ready to charge, Beast brought out the Dice Saber and began to deliver a series of sword slashes which managed to stagger the Phantom though the Catoblepas Phantom fights back before Beast regain his composure and starts to regain the upper hand, but then Makoto saw the elderly man BLEEDING OUT as the CRACKS within his body spreading, and she told Haimawari about it.
Beast saw it and became worried but Catoblepas Phantom laughed diabolically and told Beast that he can't do anything about it as the elderly man will die and his death will spawn a new Phantom and there his fellow Phantoms will do the same to everyone else.
"Damn…! You can't be serious!"
"You heard me!"
"…"
"This geezer will die, and you can't do anything about it!"
"Damn you…!"
"After that a Phantom will be born! And we'll repeat the process again and again! Supply and demand! Ha!"
"You won't get away with this!"
"Got a problem with that punk?"
Unwilling to let this happen, Beast decided to overwhelm his opponent, and recognizing that he would need to match the opponent with BRUTE FORCE, he puts on a red-colored ring on his right middle finger before entering it onto the Beast-Driver's right-side slot and turned it in a key ignition-like twist, and the Beast-Driver's voice spoke to confirm the magic spell's activation.
Beast-Driver: "BUFFA! GO…BU-BU-BU-BUFFA!"
A red-colored pentagram-shaped magical circle appeared and enveloped Beast, and though his armored appearance doesn't change, he did gain some additional design, where Instead, he uses single shoulder mantle armaments called Mantles, where he sports a rather huge armored shoulder pad with an arm-sided cape.
Since the magic ring he uses is the Buffa Ring, the right armored shoulder pad resembles the head of a buffalo which has buffalo horns while the cape itself is colored red, and there Beast charged forward as the two combatants began to try pushing one another back, and the Catoblepas Phantom is surprised to see that Beast's Buffalo Mantle roughly has the same strength as his, yet he is confident that he would win as all he needed is wait for the elderly man to die and his Phantom would be spawned and ready to serve the Wiseman.
However, Burnin, Kido and Onima came and delivered some strong attacks which sent the Catoblepas Phantom careening against another parked car, and there they told Beast that they will deal with the Phantom and told him that Makoto said something about Beast HAVING THE MEANS to stop the CRACKS within the elderly man's body.
"Eh…? You guys…"
"Leave that monster to us!"
"We'll take care of him!"
"Detective Tsukauchi told us you have the means to save that man!"
"She told you that?"
"Leave him to us!"
"Go save that man!"
"Hurry!"
Endeavor approached Beast and said that while he didn't like this, he is willing to let this slide if it means saving the man's life after roughly getting an explanation from Makoto about the situation.
"Listen up."
"You…you're Endeavor…"
"Though I am against vigilantes…as I view you as one…it can't be helped."
"Eh?"
" Detective Tsukauchi roughly told me about Phantoms and stuffs…including wizards…which I still find it absurd…but given what I've witnessed…I'm willing to bend the rules just for this situation."
"You mean…?"
"Lets team up…and save that man."
"Okay…I understand…"
Nodding, Beast went towards the elderly man, where 85% of his body was covered in CRACKS as he continue to bleed out, and he brought out a magic ring and placed it on the man's middle finger and is about to have the ring inserted on the right side of the Beast Driver, and the Catoblepas Phantom is alarmed and unwilling to let this happen, he gets up and attempted to disrupt it but Burnin, Kido and Onima held him back as they are determined to stop the Phantom even though he is trying to get the Sidekicks to get off him.
"Hold it, ugly!"
"You're stuck with us!"
"And we mean it!"
"Damn you! Get off me! That Gate must die and spawn a Phantom!"
"Whatever nonsense you're saying…one thing is certain…you won't get to kill!"
"We'll save that man…!"
"And that's because we're pro heroes!"
"Damn you! Get off me this instant! The Phantom must be spawned no matter what! Let go, I say!"
At the same time, Beast's Beast Driver spoke as the ring was inserted and the spell is activated, where Beast is ready to enter the elderly man's UNDERWORLD, which surprised Endeavor as this is the first time seeing this and wondered if this is part of Beast's Quirk, as he still wondering if this is the case or if Beast has an INNER PHANTOM inside his body after hearing Makoto's explanation from earlier at his agency office after she explained to him about Midoriya gaining MAGIC POWERS from a ritual.
However, Catoblepas Phantom managed to get some room and fired a blast that would send Beast away but Endeavor saw this and uses his FlashFire Fist to deflect the blast but the impact caused Endeavor to stagger back and collided with Beast, and both men accidentally fell towards the PORTAL and entered the elderly man's underworld, and there Endeavor was shocked and surprised at the place he just saw, as he saw the elderly man's memories, from past to present.
"What…what is this…?"
"This is the old man's UNDERWORLD…"
"Is this what I think it is…?"
"Yeah. Your sidekicks said that Detective Tsukauchi told you about Phantoms and stuffs…including people's UNDERWORLD…"
"…"
"And what you're seeing right now should be clear to you…"
"This…I can't believe what…huh?"
"Whoa!"
Suddenly, the elderly man's INNER PHANTOM appeared and there Beast told Endeavor that the INNER PHANTOM that they're seeing is the elderly man's Quirk,Nas for some reason, the man's Quirk suddenly became an INNER PHANTOM and got CORRUPTED and goes out of control, breaking the man's body and of this continue the man would die and the INNER PHANTOM would take the man's form and memories and would do the same thing to other people.
"What? Are you serious?"
"You heard me, Endeavor!"
"…"
"If that phantom breaks out, the old guy is dead! And along the way he'll possess the old man's form and memories and he'll deceive people and do the same process like this one!"
"That can't be possible…!"
"What you're seeing right now is real! And this is no joke or some silly special effects!"
"Damn it…"
"You got to believe what you're seeing, Endeavor…"
Though bewildered at the revelation he just seen and heard, Endeavor asked Beast if there is a way to prevent this, which Beast says that they would have to kill the rampaging INNER PHANTOM, which Endeavor seemingly didn't like this as, according to what Makoto told him earlier, this would mean that the elderly man would lose his Quirk in the process yet saving his life is the utmost priority and he said that it can't the helped but saving the elderly man is more important than anything else.
"What? Are you serious?"
"You heard me, Endeavor!"
"…"
"If we are to save the old man, we'll have to destroy that Phantom, and though it would mean rendering the old man Quirkless, it's better than letting the phantom break out! Otherwise the old guy would be dead! Like I said just now…of that Phantom breaks free the old man gets killed and along the way he'll possess the old man's form and memories and he'll deceive people and do the same process like this one!"
"That…there has to be another way!"
"Sorry…but there aren't available options at the moment! What you're seeing right now is real! And if we're going to save the old man we need to move now!"
"Damn it…"
"You got to believe what you're seeing, Endeavor…denying it would only worsen the situation…"

Elsewhere, Midoriya is having problems of his own as the Typhon and Echidna Phantoms showed up and ambushed Midoriya, who managed to evade their attack yet a few bystanders were caught in the attacks, which they screamed as they were killed off by accident.
"AAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGYYYAAAHHH!"
"AAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGYYYAAAHHH!"
"AAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGYYYAAAHHH!"
"AAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGYYYAAAHHH!"
Midoriya was horrified at what the two Phantoms did, as they taunted him for being careless and even proudly stated that at least they can tell who the Gates are and those who are of no value, and this infuriates Midoriya as he toggles the Wizardriver and initiated his transformation into Kamen Rider Wizard,, and there the Phantoms are getting ready, feeling confident that they can kill him this time.
"You bastards will pay for the murder spree you committed…!"
"Heh, so now you threatening us…?"
"Feeling confident now, are we?"
"You two are going down!"
"Oooohhh…I'm scared…"
"Nice try…but you won't be able to talk your way out of your upcoming demise…"
"Enough. I'm taking you two out!"
"Then let us dance."
"And we'll send you to hell!"
Midoriya then activated his magic and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard and he began to fight back, yet the two Phantoms were stubborn as they kept Wizard on the defensive and said that Catoblepas Phantom will succeed in his plans, which Wizard realized that the hospice he saw from Eri's crystal ball is actually a cover as a Gate was there, yet he mentally hoped that Haimawari would be there to stop the Phantom.
Realizing that he had to end this Wizard decided to test out the magic rings that Wajima crafted and see how potent they are when used in a battle, and he hoped that this would help him take out the two Phantoms in a quick way.
"Okay, Wajima…I'm going to try out the rings you made…"
Wizard brought out a magic ring, placed it on his right middle finger and then placed it in front of the Wizardriver where it spoke to activate the magic spell, which the ring turns out to be the Boil Ring.
Wizardriver: "BOIL…PLEASE…"
The Boil Ring glowed fired an energy attack which caused the two Phantoms' skins to boil and wound them, causing the Typhon and Echidna Phantoms to shriek in pain, and Wizard is relieved to see that the rings are helpful in dealing with the Phantoms.
"AAAAAIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!"
"GGGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"
"Whoa…"
"WHAT KIND OF MAGIC IS THIS?!"
"MY SKIN IS BOILING!"
"Looks like Wajima's crafting worked…"
"DAMN THAT WIZARD!"
"WE GOT TO KILL HIM OR BOTH MEDUSA AND PHOENIX WOULD KILL US!"
"Okay…I better try out the rest…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as things got complicated in which Endeavor requested to Makoto to arrange a meeting with Midoriya as he would personally judge if Midoriya is an ally or a threat, despite being told about the circumstances…and it looks like Endeavor got to meet a wizard…though it was Haimawari instead of Midoriya, as the two decided to work together after entering a man's underworld and seeing what's at stake here while Endeavor's Sidekickers are dealing with the Catoblepas Phantom…
On the other hand, the Phantoms are on the move as they ambush Midoriya, and there he decided to try out the new rings that Wajima crafted, and somehow he initially gained the upper hand, but would the rest of the new magic rings he got be enough to give Midoriya an additional edge?
