Elamir (Tav) has always been kind of an arsehole, but never downright evil; he tries to claw his way to the light while Astarion continues to backstab him out of fear and self-preservation.

[Nb!Tav x Astarion] Astarion only agreed to follow the bumbling elf because they seemed like his best bet at not turning into a tentacle monster. They were charming, easy on the eyes, and had the air of who knew what they were doing. All Astarion had to do was wiggle into their life and win their favor for as long as they were useful. Easy right?
