I can't believe it's been 26 years
You might probably know me, my name is Luz Noceda and you know my story. I don't need to fill you in on the details because I'm saving that for later.
Okay, being forced to camp, ran away to another universe, met Eda and King, met my friends, met the love of my life, learnt magic, met Belos, Eda lost magic, destroyed way to get home, got together with love of my life, found out someone was impersonating me while I was away, Mom found out, accidentally helped bad guy to destroy witches, found out I helped bad guy, survived Day of Unity with my friends, stuck in the Human Realm for few months, returned to Demon Realm, gained Palisman, reunited with Eda and King, turned The Collector to side of good, I died, met King's dad, got resurrected, killed the bad guy, spent few years of my life rebuilding the Boiling Isles, got a door from the Demon Realm to the Human Realm made so I get best of both worlds, finished high school in the Human Realm and moved to the Demon Realm to complete my college exams a few years later.
Yup. Quite a busy few years.
After I graduated college, I took a job as an author. Self published author specifically. I didn't want to go to a publicist after what happened the last time with me and King. My stories are all about my adventures in The Boiling Isles that I also published in the Demon Realm.
That's right, my book series, The Human Witch became an international success not just in the Boiling Isles, but in the Human Realm as well.
I am now staying in the Demon Realm with my friends and family. But not just old ones, new ones as well.
Eda spent her life savings, money she made in the potions business, treasure and money from wallets she stole to fund her own college for wild magic where she became the headmaster. And it was the college I attended and passed with a few shenanigans involved.
She has gotten a lot closer to her family even after that has happened with her curse. She still has it, but she has a lot more control of it than she did in the past.
Five years after the Day of Unity, she married Raine Whispers whom took the name Clawthorne once they were married. But they weren't the only Clawthorne that entered the frame.
A few months after she and Raine got married, Eda got pregnant. She was skeptical about it, plus she had the options, but she decided to keep it. Because nine months later, Ronda Clawthorne was born. AKA Ronda the Menace.
Ronda is what you could call the definition of wild child. She's like Eda back in her prime where she caused trouble and mischief. Yeah, she has more resemblance to Raine, but she is definitely Eda's little girl.
As King got older, so did his Titan's blood. I managed to create a lot of powerful glyphs thanks to the presence of my little guy. I can create firenados, ice storms and I even created a light glyph so powerful it blinded Hooty for two weeks.
King has gotten a lot taller. I'd say he's now the size of a cougar. A really slender cooler. He still does his usual hobbies. Like snacking and helping his friends out.
He and The Collector still see each other every few months. They don't do much, except talk. King would tell The Collector how he's doing while The Collector would tell him how they're doing.
Gus Porter is the HAS teacher at my college where he teaches a lot of students about everything he knows from my world. Sometimes, he asks me and the others for when he needs help to understand a lot of the Human Realm stuff.
He is happy with his life right now. We hang out a lot, just chatting and catching up. But rumour has it, he's been seeing a certain Frenemy known as Mat. But he is in denial about it.
Willow Park, the first friend I made on the Boiling Isles is living her best life. She is no longer the unconfident and messy haired Abomination student I met all those years ago; She is a lot more confident, the strongest wielder of plant magic the Boiling Isles has ever seen, very short hair and is coach of the Emerald Entrails.
Her husband, Hunter is the happiest I've seen him since his cruel and monstrous uncle died. After everything that has happened, he was taken in by former Abomination Coven Head, Darius Demonne as his adopted son.
He enrolled into Hexside where he learnt a lot about magic and all the knowledge his uncle forbade him to know about.
He now has a job as a Palisman carver that he had since he was 17 when he was mentored by Eda's parents and the Bat Queen. The first Palisman he made was what looked like a blue cardinal that he named Waffles. I guess it's a Caleb thing to name Palismen after breakfast dishes.
He married Willow after years of trying to understand relationships. His experiences when it came to romance was very limited due to being sheltered all his life by his villainous uncle. But, with the help from me, Amity and Willow, he understood how to communicate and knowing the right type of affection he should give out.
Him and Willow have a daughter they named Evelyn who is just like her parents. She's strong like her mom, but socially awkward like her dad. Yup, you know that's their kid.
As for Amity, well, you can figure most of it out, but I'll tell you anyway.
While the Isles was being rebuilt, her Dad divorced her mother and took everything from her. Her money, the house and even the factory which he has turned into a factory to invent inventions to help people.
A few years after he divorced Odalia, he got hitched to Darius. Making him Amity's step-Dad and making Hunter her step-brother. Yeah, this was really weird for her.
While she did finish her education, her real past time was exploring the Demon Realm and finding new islands and other cities formed from corpses of the Titans. She does it every two months and comes back two weeks later with a new souvenir every time.
As soon as I finished college, me and Amity found a nice house to live in and have been living there ever since. A year after we moved in, I popped the question on the anniversary we became girlfriends and the answer was at first 'M-M-Marry? Me? You?'
She was just in shock over the question. She did say yes and we got married in a private ceremony in the Dominican Republic where we had the author of Good Witch Azura as a minister at our wedding. Being an author has its benefits.
A year after we got married, we decided that two Nocedas in our house wasn't enough. We decided to have a baby.
Our first kid, Azura Hecate Noceda was born from Amity after nine months of pain and empty food storages. Then, three years later, I gave birth to our son, Manny Caleb Noceda.
Being the moms of two amazing kids isn't easy but it's worth it. Because Amity is giving them the love that she never had from her Mom when she was young.
Azura is now 15 and is in the new and improved Hexside, ready to become the great witch that I know she will become. While Manny is going to be starting very soon.
But, I do worry for what the future holds due to recent events. Whereas a lot of us are very happy with this new world of peace and prosperity, others don't handle change very well.
There are some who prefer Belos' reign. Yes, the same Belos who tried to slaughter every last one of them. They think him restraining their magic, brought peace and order to the Isles than a wide array of diverse magic that everyone is free to use.
They have been trying to convince the Governors of the Isles to bring back the old ways but no one will allow it.
But they don't take 'no' very lightly.
The Belos Supporters cause attacks on Bonesborough, hurting people and damaging livelihoods and causing some of the residents to feel unsafe. Them and their mysterious leader known only as The Bane haven't caused any havoc for a while for whatever reason.
But a part of me worries that someday, they will return and hurt everyone I care about. Me, my family and my friends.
I just hope, that my family will survive whatever comes next. Because, us weirdos have got to stick together and we will.
