It was a cool winter's morning in the 100 Acre Woods, a fresh blanket of snow covered the ground. The sun was shinning and the sky was filled with white fluffy clouds and a beautiful blue sky. Tigger was bouncing along cheerfully.
"Hoo hoo hoo hoo! What a great day for bouncing!" Tigger said as he bounced.
Just then something hit him from behind, knocking Tigger off his tail. "Oof!" He grunted, shaking his head. "Okay, who threw that?"
There was no answer, but Tigger could hear a soft giggling sound. A sound he knew all too well. He smirked knowingly, and he started quietly walking, following the sound of giggles.
Roo who was hiding behind a large tree snickered quietly, he had another snowball in hand and slowly peeked out from where he was hiding, but was surprised to see no sign of Tigger. He stood there a moment with a puzzled look, and suddenly something grabbed him around the waist.
"WAAH!" The boy gasped, looking up to find Tigger smirking playfully at him.
"Thought you could hide from me huh?"
Roo laughed, squirming in Tigger's arms. "Hey that's not fair! How'd you do that?"
"My tiggerific stealth technique of course," Tigger replied, tickling the kid's sides.
Roo laughed and squirmed. "Tigger! Stop! Lemme go!" He kept trying to escape but had no luck.
"This is what you get for sneak attacking me Roo boy!" Tigger replied. "You face the wrath of the Tigger tickle monster!"
Roo kept squirming and laughing. "Okay! Okay you got me! I give up!"
"That's what I like to hear." Tigger chuckled before he finally stopped tickling.
Roo laughed trying to catch his breath and he smirked up at Tigger playfully. "You might have won today, but I'll get you back Tigger!" He said.
"Ooh I'm sooo terrified," Tigger replied, pretending to look scared.
"You should be afraid!" Roo said. "It'll be when you least expect it."
"We'll see," Tigger replied, grabbing the little joey and trapping him in a headlock and noogied him.
Roo laughed and squealed trying to get away. "Tigger lemme go!"
"Nope you're stuck!" Tigger said, keeping the boy in a tight grip.
Roo laughed and squirmed in Tigger's arms, pushing against his chest with his feet. And then he finally broke free and laughed as he took off bouncing.
"Hey! Get back here ya little runt!" Tigger said, chasing after him.
"Can't catch me!" Roo said as he kept bouncing as fast as he could.
"Wouldn't bet on it if I were you Roo boy!" Tigger shouted back.
Roo was starting to get tired and he was slowing down. Knowing this was his chance, Tigger smirked as he lunged at the boy and bounced him to the ground,
"AHH!" Roo yelped.
They started to roll and tumble down the hill. Both laughing and screaming as they kept rolling and finally crashed into a snowbank.
Tigger popped his head out and spit snow out of his mouth and Roo popped up beside him and started laughing.
"That was fun!" Roo laughed as Tigger stood and scooped the little joey out of the snow.
"Now that's what I call Tigger sliding!" Said Tigger as he laughed along with Roo.
The duo started bouncing off together and they came up to the pond which was frozen solid. Roo grinned and jumped out onto the ice. "Wha hoo hoo hoooooo!" He cried out as he slid on the ice. "Come on Tigger!"
"No way Roo boy! You know Tigger's don't ice skate!" Tigger said, staying put on the snow.
"Aw come on Tigger!" Roo said, skating over to Tigger, grabbing his hands.
"Nope!" Tigger replied, not budging.
"Pleeese?" Roo begged, giving Tigger the puppy dog eyes.
Tigger shook his head. Darn it, this kid knows he's adorable and he's using it against me. Don't cave in Tigger don't cave! But couldn't resist the boy's puppy look anymore. Letting out a long sigh he finally stepped onto the frozen pond with the little joey.
Roo grinned happily. "Yaayy Tigger!" He giggled as he watched his best bouncing buddy stumble and slide on the ice. "Come on Tigger you can do it!"
Tigger stumbled again, he started to get the hang of it. "Hoo hoo hoo hooooo!" He laughed, skating along with the boy.
They laughed and skated for a little bit. Tigger still stumbled and fell on the ice every now and then causing the little joey to burst into laughter.
"Not funny Roo boy!" Tigger said as he tried to regain his balance.
"Yeah it is!" Said Roo in between laughs. He doubled over as he laughed harder. He suddenly stumbled and fell back on the ice.
Tigger just laughed and smirked down at him. "You're right Roo boy, it is funny!"
Roo glared at him with a not very amused face. Tigger was still laughing at him. He tried to keep a straight face but Tigger's laughing eventually made him giggle and laughed with him.
Tigger reached down to help the little joey stand and they played and skated some more. They soon had enough of skating so they got off the ice. They proceeded to make snow angels and built a snowman had a snowball fight. They were having a lot of fun until Tigger noticed Roo was shivering.
"We should getcha inside Roo boy, I can see you're gettin cold." Tigger said.
"Aw I'm alright Tigger!" Roo replied, before letting out a small sneeze.
Tigger shook his head. "Nope we're getting you inside mister. Don't need ya gettin sick.' He scooped the kid up onto his shoulders and bounced off in the direction of Roo's house.
Kanga was inside doing dishes when Tigger walked in with Roo on his shoulders, and she smiled warmly at them.
"Hiya mom," Roo said as Tigger set him on the ground.
"Hello dear, did you boys have fun in the snow?" Kanga asked.
"We had the best time, but Roo boy started gettin cold," Tigger said.
"Oh well come on into the kitchen, I'll make some hot coco and get a fire going." Kanga replied.
"Oh boy oh boy!" Roo said. "Come on Tigger!" He bounced into the kitchen and sat in his spot at the table.
"Hot coco is what Tiggers like best!" He said cheerfully following Roo.
The two sat at the table together, and Kanga brought two mugs of hot coco handing it to them. "Be careful it's hot," she warned.
Roo picked up his mug and blew on it and took a sip. "Mmmm mom this is the yummiest hot coco ever!"
"Sure is!" Tigger said, sipping his own. "Thanks a bunch Mrs Kanga, ma'm."
"I'm glad you like it dear," Kanga replied. "You're very welcome."
Tigger blushed as he always did when Kanga called him dear. Roo giggled at him. They continued sipping their coco and Kanga started a fire and Roo and Tigger both sat on the couch together. Roo snuggled close to his big brother resting his head on his lap.
Tigger smiled down at the boy, gently rubbing a paw over the little joey's back. Roo yawned sleepily and closed his eyes and started to fall asleep. Tigger felt his heart melting at the sight of his adorable sweet precious little bouncing buddy. He loved this kid more then life itself. He was like a little brother to him. He wouldn't be here if it weren't for Roo. He remembered a 2 years ago when he was trying to look for other Tiggers. How Roo bravely did the famous whoop-de-dooper-loop-de-looper-ally-oper-bounce and saved him from the avalanche. He was so proud of the boy and he swore from that day on that he would always be there for him, to look out for him and protect him like a big brother would do.
Kanga had been washing the last of the dishes, and she came into the living room and she smiled softly at the adorable sight of her baby sound asleep in Tigger's lap.
"Oh my sweet little Roo dear," she said as she got closer and patted his head gently.
"Yep. All that bouncing and playing in the snow has him all tuckered out," Tigger said softly.
"I can tell," Kanga replied. "He's lucky to have you for a friend Tigger."
"What are brothers for," Tigger said and chuckled softly.
Kanga giggled softly and smiled warmly. "We should get this little one to bed right now."
"You got it Mrs Kanga ma'mm." Tigger replied.
Then he stood up carefully cradled his little body in his arms. He carried the boy upstairs to his room. Kanga pulled the blanket back and Tigger laid him down and pulled the covers over and tucking him in.
Roo snuggled deeply into the covers and smiled in his sleep. Kanga leaned down to gently kiss his cheek. "Sweet dreams, my little Roo."
Tigger ran a paw over the boy's head. "Nighty night little brother."
Roo yawned and mumbled back, "night night."
Kanga blew out the candle. Tigger followed Kanga to the door before pausing to look back at the little joey sleeping peacefully in his bed. He smiled softly and he quietly closed the door.
"Welp, guess I'll be on my way now Mrs Kanga," Tigger said.
"Have a good night Tigger dear," Kanga said, kissing him on the cheek.
Tigger blushed as always when Kanga called him dear. He smiled at her and he left the house and started bouncing his way home.
End.
