Troy: You think Tua is having a good time?
The rest of the Guardians were walking down the the main area.
Marty: Given it's the Rusherz I think he's having a ball...*to RZ* Hey RZ, what's up?
RZ smiled down at the Guardians.
RZ: Guardians, thank you for coming on short notice. We had a little incident in Minnesota, so the Vikings Megacore needs some guards with Thor out.
They got in the offensive mode there.
Ish: Wildcard and Dropkick?
RZ: No, more of a accident.
Ash: Accident?
At that moment the portal of the Lions opened as all present turned...
Tua: We're back.
The Rusherz present WINCED as the Guardians bit their lip seeing Thor on Tua's back with a LARGE bruise on the side of his forehead.
Ricky: *cringe* OH that's more than a accident.
Lasso: *wincing* That's one nasty forehead shiner.
The Guardians ran over to Tua and the four Rusherz.
Ash: *concern* What happened to him?
Tua: Ladder got loose from the ropes and hit him hard at the construction site of the new stadium. It's still hurting so we want to check to see if he cracked his skull.
At that part Swoop ran over fast, Tua setting Thor to the ground as the Eagle Rusher checked.
Swoop: Yeah we're gonna need an x-ray for this if it's true. Thor how are you feeling?
Thor: *bit of pain* Head's ringing and in pain.
Beast: Even gave him headache medication and that only lessened it a bit.
Swoop nodded as he helped Thor to his feet.
Swoop: Okay, yeah, X-Ray needed. Pardon us kids.
Beast: I'll go with you.
With that and a nod, the eagle Rusher and Lion Rusher lead Thor away.
Ish: He's not gonna be leaving Canton for a while with that.
RZ: I've placed him on Injury Reserve so he will be off duty for a while. That is why I called, with what happened still looming in the public heads we need to ease their fear before it becomes panic.
Tua: Least their not getting nightmare fuel from the pictures of those clones-
Cyclops: Eh, they needed a reality check if we're being honest.
That got their attention.
Grizzly: YEAH, we kinda have our own rivalry with folks who eat this stuff up. You kids getting involved in that, NO WAY we were having it.
All of them made a mental note on that as Pack went over.
Pack: We'll clock in our work and be right back okay?
RZ: Thank you two.
With that the two Rusherz left, leaving the area in silence...
Tua:-Their best friends.
Guardians (minus Ish and Tua): *shock* WAIT WHAT?
Tua: Grizzly and Pack are best friends...*realization* That's what my Grandfather meant when he said the Bear Rusher was full of surprises...*smirks* Very clever.
Ish chuckled with the other Rusherz, making the others turn to him.
Troy: *shock* YOU KNEW?
Ish: Yep, comes with being the first. I wanted to see how you would react when you found out, *to the Rusherz* You guys were right, the reactions are fun.
Bolt: *smirks* Told ya. *to Tua* Seems your Grandfather wanted to see how you would find out as well.
Tua: *chuckles* Yeah, gonna have to mix the truth to make sure being a Guardian isn't revealing.
Ash: Good call. But-How-?
Peck: How are they best friends? *they nodded; smiles* Well, it happened way before they met me or the others-
Cordalion, years ago...
A young Bear Rusher at the age of six walked through the blizzard, shaking.
Peck's voice: Sudden Death took out the Bear Rusherz during a blizzard. Grizzly was only six at the time, and he was having a hard time surviving the elements.
Grizzly shoke as he froze in place, sobbing.
?: HELLO?! IS ANYONE OUT THERE!?
He looked up seeing a figure looking around the snow, he tired to call out but no words came out. By a miracle (and the fact he was happy he was orange in fur), the being spotted him running over. A young Packer Rusher around his age appeared.
Packer Rusher: HEY! Your a Bear Rusher-*touches him* Your freezing...what's your name?
Grizzly: *Freezing* Gr-Griz-Grizz-ly.
Pack: Pack. Okay, There's a cave nearby I've been staying in so let's head there. I got this feeling something was wrong..thank goodness i followed it.
Grizzly was lead by the Packer Rusher, who was using his ability to block most of the winter winds. Reaching the cave he sat Grizzly down next to the warm fire as the Packer Rusher closed up the entrance with ice.
Grizzly: *weak smile* T-Thank you Pack I-Thank you.
Pack: *smiles* That's what friends are for right?
Grizzly: *blinks* F-Friends But we-
Pack: Just met? *Grizzly nods* Well, i hope we can be friends.
Grizzly weak smile grew as Pack went closer hugging the cold Bear, helping the bear Rusher regain his warmth.
Peck's voice: That winter Pack and Grizzly found eachother and they just-clicked. Both lost their homes during the blizzard and both helped eachother survive that season.
Present...
Peck: Since then they been the best of friends. Yeah Pack, and he admits it, he kinda jumped the gun when they first met. But-Grizzly hearing that, he couldn't help but smile at Pack wanting to be friends with him.
Ricky: Whoa. Gotta admit I was not expecting them to be friends.
Tua was pondering on something, then he decided to take the leap.
Tua: You know I wonder, How far would they go for eachother?
All went silent thinking on this, that was a very good question...RZ took the reigns there.
RZ: Willing to give up their shards for the other.
..All froze, slowly turning to the AI.
Ish: *shock* PARDON?
Talon: Okay that's news for us, WHEN-*Realization* The Blitzbot melee.
Tua: *confused* The what?
Pick-Ax: That's what we called that day when Ish got caught, Sudden Death sent massive amounts of Blitzbots to our cities.
Tua: But this is new to you guys right?
Toro: *shock* YES. We were busy with all that happened afterwards we never asked what happened.
Ish: So what happened with the Bears and the Packers back in 2011 RZ?
Ash: I would like details as well.
RZ nodded-
January 2011, Chicago...
ABSOLUTE PANIC! Pack ran down the halls shard in hand, he had to reach her! HE HAD TO GET HER OUT OF THERE! Grizzly was saving Ish with a few others and if he returned to see-The door.
Pack: *slams door open; frantic** VIRGINIA WE NEED TO BAIL ASAP!
The daughter of the Bears founder and current owner looked up from her desk, seeing the panic in the Packer's eyes.
Virginia Halas McCaskey: *closes folder* Pack what is going on-
Pack: *runs up grabs her hand;frantic* NO TIME TO EXPLAIN BUT WE'RE ALL BEING ATTACK! WE NEED TO GET TO DALLAS NOW!
With that Pack basically ran out with her in tow.
Virginia Halas McCaskey: *very worried* Dallas? ATTACK?! WHERE'S GRIZZLY!?
Pack: Gone to save the Guardians, but right now I need to get you out if they kill you Grizzly will be heartbroken and that-*shakes his head* WE JUST NEED TO GO!
Pack and Virginia ran to the field...when a hoard of Blitzbots surrounded them.
Pack: *tick* DANG IT!
They swarmed them, and then-Pack heard something.
Sudden Death's voice: GUARDIAN IS GONE AND WE'VE BEEN BETRAYED! KILL ALL THE RUSHERZ NOT BLITZED AND WE'LL DEAL WITH THOSE WHO ARE ONCE WE SUCCEEDED! KILL ALL WHO STAND IN OUR WAY!
Pack paled gulping-then, an frantic idea formed.
Pack: Virginia, I need you to stay safe okay. I-I'll handling this so trust me.
Virginia Halas McCaskey: *very worried* Of course I trust you, but what are you-
Pack rose his shard to the air in his hands.
Pack: HEY SUDDEN DEATH! YOU WANT THIS! *Throws it* TAKE IT!
The Blitzbots ran after the shard as Pack made a portal and pushed Virginia in. He was about to jump in but-
SMACK!

Grizzly landed on the ground outside the stadium seeing the skies red.
Grizzly: *panic* VIRGINIA!
He ran inside looking around, upon reaching the office he saw it was empty...he paled heading the the field where-HIS HEART STOPPED. Pack was laying on the field unmoving as the Blitzbot loomed over his.
Grizzly: *tears* Pa-PACK!
He ran over to the Packer Rusher dodging the attacks. He reached him and looked around, surrounded. Pack was injured and they were gonna kill him if he didn't do something fast-he closed his eyes, he already made his decision no second guesses.
Grizzly: *loud* HERE TAKE THIS!
Grizzly threw his team's shard at the Blitzbot. This caught them off but he took this chance to jump into the portal with Pack.

RZ voice: I do believe you know what happened next.

Liberty: So-we lost four, right?
Freefall nodded sadly as the remaining Rusherz were sitting around with Ish and Sandra. The word that four more of them were Blitzed was heartbreaking, and the missing two Rusherz were worrying.
Freefall: No word from Green Bay or Chicago, I-I afraid that th-
A portal opened and Virginia fell out, a few Rusherz catching her.
Soar: *shock* Mrs. Halas McCaskey!?
Virginia Halas McCaskey: *Panic* PLEASE PACK IS STILL BACK THERE-
At that moment Grizzly and Pack were shot out, the bear Rusher hitting the wall hard and going unconscious.
Peck: *panic* GUYS!
Sonar: *panic* HEY WE TWO RUSHERZ DOWN!
Grizzly could only hear voices as his mind went blank.

Pack and Grizzly: VIRGINIA (PACK)!
Both sat up, looking at eachother when they heard the other. Both were in the first aid room of the Cowboy's stadium. It was quiet between the two-then both began to laugh as tears fell, hugging eachother in relief.
Pack: Your okay! I-I was worried-Is she-
Grizzly: Heard her she's fine! YOUR FINE! WE'RE BOTH FINE!
Both were like this for a while before breaking the hug.
Grizzly: I-I saw you-you gave up your shard for her, that-that was insane.
Pack: Y-Yeah I was gonna follow but-what happened?
Grizzly: You were out cold so I-I gave up my shard to get you out of there.
They looked at eachother, before laughing tiredly ecshuated from today's events.
Pack: Oh Lib gonna kill us.
Grizzly: I know but-I would do do again if it meant saving you or your team.
Pack gave a weak but happy smile.
Pack: S-Same thing. Your my best Friend, I'd do it all over again for you.
Both smiled tiredly. Unknown to them, OT was watching their exchange.
Present...
RZ: So, that is what happened.
ALL PRESENT WERE STUNNED starring at the AI.
Grizzly: *comes back with Pack* Hey guys, were back..*sees their reaction* You all okay?
Pack: You look like you seen the ghost of Lombardi?
Everyone turned to the two, making them worried.
Pack: Uhh, okay did we miss something?
RZ turned to them.
RZ: I do beleive that little exchange you two had after the Blitzbot melee should have been talked about after Sudden Death's defeat.
Both soon realized that they never did tell the others what happened, or that RZ had overheard their conversation.
Grizzly: *nervous* OHHH, Forgot. Opps.
Pack: *nervous* SO uh...honest answer?
Tua stepped forward, ready to say his answer..
