Kenobi is true to his word, and is assigned a Padawan during the Battle of Christophsis. He's expecting a bereaved teenager who lost their Master on Geonosis. What he receives is Krie Ortis: the Order's most well-known Padawan, in both the Temple and the Senate Rotunda, with Dooku's charm, Qui-Gon's eccentricities, and a fate to rival even Anakin's.

A galaxy bleeding! The Clone Wars have
just begun, and their destruction has already
spread across hundreds of star systems!

On the Outer Rim planet of Christophsis,
Jedi Generals ANAKIN SKYWALKER and OBI-WAN KENOBI
fight valiantly to keep the world out of Separatist clutches.

Unorthodox reinforcements are soon to arrive
in the form of two young Padawans, AHSOKA TANO and
KRIE ORTIS.

While both Padawans are mavericks in their own ways,
Krie has a great many secrets to keep,
and even more that may be unleashed in the throes
of war.
