It begins with a large three-toed footprint in the ground covered in water stomping can be heard as the ground rumbles and the water vibrates.

Then, it shows a Triceratops minding its own business browsing Little does it know a Tyrannosaurus is stalking the ceratopsid as its reddish head is seen among the branches of the trees.

The Tyrannosaurus steps on a dead branch on purpose as the Triceratops looks up before resuming to feed until suddenly—the T. rex emerges and snarls, causing the Triceratops to turn around and flee for its life.

It transitions to the crashing waves underwater, a volcanic landscape erupting with magma to a wasteland with a dinosaur nest full of eggs with one of the eggs hatching as the voice of Morgan Freeman is heard.

Then an asteroid hits the earth creating a mushroom cloud impact before transitioning to many herds of animals of different time periods walking forwards, Maiasaura from the Cretaceous, Woolly Mammoths from the Ice Age, and Scutosaurus of the Permian

That would take over the world.

Then shows two small lizard-like animals, transitioning to animals of different periods running, A Sinraptor from the Jurassic, Titanis from the Pleistocene, and a Cheetah from modern times with a herd of wildebeests in the background. Two sauropods are seen around a lake while one rearing up places its front feet down on the ground.

From the beginning of life…

Then shows a mother Doedicurus and her young walk joining a small herd while a Smilodon populator climbs on top of the shells of one of them to look over the landscape. Then an Achironis screeches as it jumps off a rock while being pursued by a Sinraptor who roars. a Gorgonopsid called Inostrancevia takes down a Scutosaurus. In modern times, a baby baboon is hugged by its mother.

Shows Miss Frizzle's class running alongside a Triceratops in a forest fire to a thunderstorm in the ocean with a group of Giant Orthocones called Cameroceras looking at the flashing lightning.

WHO WILL RULE THE EARTH

There are shots of Modern times with a pride of African lionesses walking, a Nile Crocodile lunging at a herd of wildebeest drinking at the river, back to prehistoric times showing a pliosaur hunting sea turtles, an Australian Giant Cuttlefish inking, a Komodo Dragon hunting a young Water Buffalo calf, the meteorite striking the earth on the and a nesting colony of Edmontosaurus panicking, a pride of Cave lions stalking a herd of Woolly Mammoths with the Class riding on the Mammoths who charge at the Lions protecting their calf, a herd of American Bison roaming the prairie, two Sarcastic Fringe-heads extending their jaws in a territorial battle, a pterosaur snatching a sea turtle hatchling, an ammonite swimming out of the way of a Dunkleosteus a female T. rex roaring at the Male, and ends with a Dromaeosaur raptor nuzzling her chick.
