Episode 5: Ni-hao did this happen?

"Last time on Toadal Pony Worldwide Tour." Toad began. "The players had to play an intense game of Dodgeball which some players loved and also hated. The challenge was two teams go head to head in the first match and the winning teams had to play in the championship match for first class. The Starsprites and Triple F faced each other in the finals and Lightning Dust thought she had this challenge in the bag. But what surprised me was Apple Bloom, one of the youngest competitors in the game, actually beat her by catching the ball. As for the Fireballs and the Fungi Fanatics, they were both sent to elimination and Starlow got ejected for not helping the team with her no hands excuse. Also voted out from the Fireballs was Silver Spoon, who broke her glasses while playing and Diamond Tiara making a little alliance with three of the Fireball members that also voted her out. Another twist, Spike got his hands on something special that he plans to keep a secret and I decided to switch Carl and Fluttershy to the opposing team. Five players gone and 35 remain. What will be in store for today? I can't tell you cause that would spoil the surprise. But you'll just have to tune into today's episode of.. Toadal Pony Worldwide Tour!

Episode 5: Ni-hao did this happen?

(We open to the plane in the air and into first class.)

"It feels good to be reunited with my old buddy." Daisy said. "Now we can make up for lost times."

Carl mumbled something again.

"How do you all put up with this?" Apple Bloom asked the others.

"Beats me." Luigi shrugged. "It's just who she is."

"Yeah, none of us except her can understand him." Peach added.

"That was an amazing catch you did the other day." Yoshi said to Apple Bloom.

"Yeah, I didn't know ya had it in you ya little youngin'." Goombella added.

"Well thanks, I wanted to prove myself useful to yer team." Apple Bloom told them.

"You already are." Peach tells her. "Size doesn't matter."

Confessional

Peach: Well, Carl is now on our team, but I can't get to confident. Mimi isn't on my team but she could be trouble to the players she has on her team. I better warn them about her past and tell them that she is bad news.

Economy Class.

"I can't believe we lost three players in a row." Gilda complains. "How are we gonna win challenges when we have seven and everyone else has at least 9 or 10 players left on their team?"

"Well maybe it's not so bad." Cheerilee told her. "Depending on the next challenge, if it's a race to the finish, we'll have the advantage with the amount of players we have left."

"She may have a point, but we still need to watch it. We can't get to overconfident." Princess Luna told them.

"I just hope we win soon. I really want out of this death trap." Rarity said.

"Who knows when we'll get in first class?" Pinkie shrugged.

(Fierce Flying Fighters)

"I totally should've had that win yesterday." Lightning Dust pouted. "That was just not right."

"I sense frustration and disappointment young one." Rosalina told her. "We might not have won but at least we didn't lose."

"She does have a point." Twilight added. "We tried our best and that's all that matters."

"Yeah, you just need to move on already." Rainbow Dash suggested.

Confessional

Rainbow Dash: Sheesh, I'm not the one to disagree with her but she acts like it was unfair Apple Bloom beat her at dodgeball. I mean she did catch her ball but hey I'm not gonna judge.

Blazing Fireballs

"So how does it feel being on a different team?" Sunset asked Fluttershy.

"It feels like I'm with players I haven't seen before; with the exception of you girls." Fluttershy replied. "I guess I'll adjust to this."

"You got nothin' to worry about sugarcube." Applejack assured her. "As long as we're by yer side, you got nothin' to worry about."

Spike was watching them and also looked at the small object he found yesterday.

Confessional

Spike: Yesterday when we were leaving, I found something very interesting. (Held up the immunity statue which was the golden mushroom.) Still can't believe I found it. I can use this to save myself from elimination or save one of my friends. This time, I'm going to play my best and not give up. (Dropped the statue in the toilet.) Oh for crying out loud.

In another corner, Mimi was talking to her two alliance members.

"Seems like those three are closer than we thought." Mimi told them. "We're gonna have to take them out one by one."

"What do you suppose we do? Split them up?" Trixie insisted. "They're way too close as friends."

"I might have an idea, but we'll just have to wait."

(On the map, the plane flies across towards its destination.)

We see the 35 remaining players in China. Standing by the Great Wall. Right on cue, Chrysalis drops in and joins her team.

"Ni hao everyone and welcome to China." Toad tells everyone. "I bet you are all dying to know what we're doing here."

"Obviously." Cheerilee replied.

"Easy, it's a vast country rich in history, culture, innovation, and delicious sauces." Goombella told her.

"She's kinda like a mini version of you Twilight." Rainbow Dash told her alicorn friend.

"I can see that now." Twilight said.

"This challenge will work a little differently from the previous ones, but first, I need one player from triple F to go to the Fungi Fanatics just to balance things out."

"That's my cue." Waluigi smiled before going over to the Fungi Fanatics.

"Second of all, one team will be up for elimination and two of you will be going home."

"What?" Scootaloo gasped. "You're saying that one team will be losing two members?"

"Yep." Toad nodded. "One by your team and one by the player of the winning team."

Confessional

Mimi: This is our one and only chance to win this for my team and get rid of Peach for good. I will do whatever it takes to win today's challenge.

Chrysalis: Interesting. It's like getting power. I'll finally get my revenge on that no good shy pegasus by voting her out for good, or I can get her teammates to vote her out. Still, it's a win either way.

We switch scenes with everyone in a Chinese Restaurant.

"For this one, you'll need to eat more than everyone else at this authentic Chinese Restaurant."

"Oh boy. I'm starving." Yoshi said. "I think I can basically win this no problem."

"I didn't finish." Toad interrupted. "This is actually the world's most 'authentic' Chinese Restaurant. You'll be enjoying real street food delicacies. In other words, gross and disgusting foods that you might not be able to handle, so you'll need your six best players for this one. Decide who's playing for your team and who's sitting out."

"Cheerilee and I will be sitting out." Rarity declared.

"Fine whatever." Gilda replied with an eye roll.

Fluttershy stepped forward. "I think I'll sit out with Sunset and Scootaloo."

"Sounds fair to me." Applejack said.

"Let's see... Boo, Sweetie Belle, and Toadsworth. You'll have to sit out this time." Twilight tells them.

"No problem." Boo answered.

"Me, Apple Bloom, and Carl will sit out this one." Peach declared.

"Well ok then." Yoshi said.

The players that are playing for their teams sit at tables waiting for the challenge to begin.

"Ok, here's how it works. You have to eat a dish of delicious foods." Toad explains. "Opening your mouth and having an empty plate proves that you ate it, but if you puke or refuse to eat, then you're out of the challenge. The first team that loses all six of their players will be up for elimination. The team left with the most players at the end will win immunity and gets first class. Let's begin."

Jimmy rolls out the cart and brought everyone some fried starfish on a skewer.

"Our first course is fried starfish on a skewer Local delicacy." Toad tells them.

"Wait, this is what we're eating?" Rosalina asks. "Sorry, but this is just not right. I'm backing out."

"Are you kidding me? You can't just quit right away." Lightning Dust told her.

"Well I already am. You guys will just have to manage without me." Rosalina said back to her and walked over to the bench.

"Ok, so Rosalina is out right before the challenge even started." Toad calls out. "Bold move! Let's see if it pays out in the end."

"Oh please. You just gotta learn how to use mind over matter." Trixie scoffed. "Watch." She took a bite and starts chewing. "Like Trixie says: Mind over ma-" Immediately threw up.

"Thar she blows!" Toad exclaimed. "Trixie is now out! Now you see why this is a tough one."

Confessional

Trixie: My body was all: You can do this! But then my stomach was like, not a chance.

All the players on the Starsprites and the Fungi Fanatics ate theirs no problem. The Fierce Flying Fighters did the same but Twilight was taking her time and managed to finish.

"So gross." Diamond Tiara said in disgust. "I can't-" Threw up on the floor immediately.

"Looks like we reached the end of round one, three players have been eliminated and the Starsprites and Fungi Fanatics still have all their players. Triple F have four remaining and the Fireballs only lost one." Toad recaps. "Let's move on to the next course shall we?"

The next dish that was served was a whole bunch of chocolate covered bugs.

"The next course is chocolate covered bugs."

"Whoa whoa whoa whoa. No one has even mentioned about eating bugs." Princess Luna said. "This is disgusting."

"Yeah, I may have to pass." Cheese Sandwich said pushing his plate away.

"I'm out too." Pinkie agreed. "Eating bugs is really icky. Especially chocolate covered ones."

"Hmm, the eyeballs have a nice snap to them." Trooper said as he continues eating.

At the seating area, some of them look away from the disgusting foods served or have a chat with each other.

"So um I don't know if you already know about this, but I need to warn you about something." Sunset tells Fluttershy.

"What about?"

"I have a bad feeling about Mimi. I think she's up to something. Even Peach told me she's untrustworthy. I didn't want to believe it but it's true."

Fluttershy became worried. "What do you think we should do?"

"Don't worry, with numbers and everything we know about her, I'm sure we'll get rid of her soon."

They were unaware of Trixie eavesdropping on their conversation.

Confessional

Trixie: Seems like those two are trying to interfere with my alliance. Well if they want to play it like that, then two can play at this game.

After that round, the Starsprites were left with 5 along with the Fungi Fanatics, the Flying Fighters and Fireballs had only 4.

"Four players dropped out of that round. Onto the next dish." Toad announces. "As the old saying goes: Soup's on!"

The remaining players were served a bowl of soup.

"Doesn't seem so bad." Mario said take a sip but spat it out towards Applejack. "Ugh, what on earth is this?'

"Oh silly me, I forgot to mention it's not just ordinary soup. It's actually squid ink soup surprise." Toad told them. "Since you spit it out, you're out as well."

"Excuse me, if you don't mind, I have to go get this ink spit out of mah mane and mah hat." Applejack said getting up from the table.

"You mind if I finish yours?" Spike asked her.

"Knock yourself out."

"Doesn't taste like anything." Trooper said sipping his soup.

"Still gross I might add." Waluigi added.

"Taste like nothing." Petey said.

The rest of the players finish their soup but Twilight and Princess Luna refused to eat and dropped out of the challenge.

"Okay time for another quick recap. The Starsprites have 5 still, Fungi Fanatics have 4, three remain for the Firece Flying Fighters, and Spike and Mimi are left for the Fireballs." Toad recaps. "Moving on with the next dish."

The next dish that was served was an entire bowl of mealworms.

"Ok, this is seriously gross on a whole different level." Rainbow Dash said shaking.

"You better keep eating or else we don't win." Lightning Dust warned her.

"How can we? I mean we only have three left and three players on the Starsprites are like live garbage cans."

"Uh what am I? Chopped liver?" Bowser asked the duo. "At least you still got me. Done!"

"Ulp. I think I found a few of them that are still alive." Mimi pointed out

"That's because they are alive." Toad confirmed.

This made Mimi vomit right on the floor after hearing that. Spike, seeing this tried to hold down his worms.

"Oh boy. It's coming back up. Must... not..."

Eventually Spike gave away and threw up immediately.

"Well it seems like the Fireballs lost all their players." Toad announces. "Therefore, they'll be up for elimination. However, seeing that the Shining Starsprites have the most players left on their team. They win the challenge and get first class. As for the other two teams, they're safe as well and congrats to the Fungi Fanatics for not getting last."

The Starsprites cheer for their victory and the Fungi Fanatics sigh in relief knowing they won't lose another teammate.

"Blazing Fireballs, I'll be seeing you guys later for elimination and two of you will be going home this time." Toad continues. "One by your own team's voting and one by the representative of the winning team. Starsprites, which of you is going?

Peach looked around. "I think it would be best if-"

"I'll be the one going. I insist." Chrysalis interrupted as she stepped forth.

"Very well then. Elimination is in just a few hours."

Confessional

Peach: Since when does she make the decisions around here? I thought for sure I had a golden opportunity to get Mimi out but she just had to go and ruin everything. Who knows who she's going to eliminate?

Chrysalis: All went according to plan. Now that I can decide who's going tonight, this is gonna be sweet. I shall now have my revenge and I already know who I'm going to vote for.

Later with the Fireballs...

"Well that was the worst performance." Mario frowned.

"No kidding." Mimi agreed. "Now who are we going to vote for?"

"There's something Trixie just observed during the challenge." Trixie said.

"Oh?"

"There's two ponies plotting against you and it could be a threat to our alliance. What's say we vote for one of them?"

"As long as it keeps me safe, I don't mind at all."

"Well with three votes, it could work, but we're gonna need one more vote for this to work."

"Well what do you suppose we do?"

Mimi gave a smirk. "I think I know what to do."

With another group...

"So where's Applejack anyway?" Scootaloo asked looking around.

"She's probably still finding a way to get the stain off her." Sunset thought.

"So who are we voting for?"

"Umm, that's what we want to talk to you about."

"Everything Sunset and Peach told me was true." Fluttershy said. "Mimi is nothing but trouble. I'm not sure if we can trust her."

"We think she's up to something. Could you join us in voting for her at elimination.?"

"Sure."

"Well we know Applejack is gonna vote with us, so I think we have nothing to worry about." Sunset proudly said.

With Spike, he was just lying back waiting for elimination.

"So Spike, do you know who you're voting for?" Cheese Sandwich asked walking in.

"No idea yet, but did you decide?"

"No, I'm sure it'll come to me later. See ya."

Fluttershy suddenly walks in.

"Hey Fluttershy, what are you doing here?"

"I-I came to talk to you about the elimination."

"Oh, well who are you voting for? And who do you propose?"

"Well... that's what I wanted to talk about."

Confessional

(There was a puff of smoke and it shows Mimi turning back into herself when she was disguised as Fluttershy.)

Mimi: Can't believe he fell for it.

Elimination Ceremony

The nine members of the Blazing Fireballs sit together.

"Welcome back to elimination Fireballs." Toad began. "First it was the Fungi Fanatics on a losing streak and now you guys. As you are all aware, this elimination will work a little bit differently than the others. Come on in Chrissy."

"Oh I hate when people call me that." Chrysalis muttered to herself. "Oh hello there. This is gonna be an interesting turn of events."

"I'm scared." Fluttershy said shaking.

"Same." Applejack agreed.

"Me three." Sunset added.

"I'm gonna give Chrysalis a red marker. She's gonna write down the name of one of you unlucky losers and when I read that particular vote, that player is automatically eliminated." Toad continues explaining.

"And this is gonna be sweet." Chrysalis smirked while taking her seat. However, Trixie whispered something to her. "Really?" Trixie nodded in agreement. "Very well then."

"Alright, you can all go to the voting booth and choose who you want to eliminate." Toad tells them.

Sunset: (shows she voted Mimi) Mimi, I'm voting you. Now that I know what you're really capable of. I just can't believe I didn't see this is the first place.

Applejack: (shows she voted Mario) This is what you get for spitting squid ink on mah mane and hat. Still can't get it off mah hat.

Trixie: (has her voted hidden) Oh please, like Trixie is that dumb to show you who she voted for.

Spike is seen writing down his choice and the scene switches to Chrysalis writing down her choice as she smiles evilly.

"You've all cast your votes and now to read them off and make the choice final. The player that has the most votes is taking the drop of shame and they're out of the game."

Toad takes all the votes out and begins to read them. "First vote.. Mario."

Mario scowled after hearing that.

"Second vote.. Mimi and there's another for Mimi."

Mimi just rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Another vote for Mario."

Mario looked in shock.

"Fifth vote.. huh, this is a surprise. It's Fluttershy."

Fluttershy gets nervous about the remaining votes.

"Sixth vote.. Fluttershy." Toad reveals another vote for her making her more nervous than ever. "That's two votes each for Fluttershy, Mario, and Mimi."

Toad continues reading the votes. "Fluttershy."

Fluttershy was really scared now. Chrysalis smirked and was waiting for the moment to finally come. If it does.

"Mimi." Toad reveals another vote for her. "That's three votes Mimi. Three for Fluttershy. Two for Mario and only one vote left."

"And so the sixth loser of Worldwide Tour is..."

Majority of the players were both anxious and scared for the final vote. Mario and Mimi looked at each other with deadpan expressions. Trixie had her upper hooves crossed. Scootaloo was almost on the verge of biting her hooves.

Toad flipped over the final vote. "Fluttershy."

Applejack, Sunset, and Scootalo were all shocked by this. Fluttershy lowered her head and sighed in defeat. Trixie smirked knowing the plan worked.

"However, there's more. We still have Chrissy's vote." Toad continues holding the actual final ballot. "Seventh player that's eliminated from Toadal Drama Worldwide Tour..." Toad flips the ballot over. "is... Sunset."

Sunset's expression from shock quickly changed to sad as she lowered her head too.

"Ha! So long losers!" Chrysalis taunted.

"I don't get it. Why am I leaving?" Sunset asked confused by all of this.

"I was gonna for for Fluttershy but since it was out of the question, I decided to go with you." Chrysalis answered. "Too bad."

"Not to mention she was a winner last time." Trixie added. "It's only fair that others deserve a chance to win."

"I can't believe you did this." Scootaloo said.

"That's how the game is played." Mario said with a shrug.

"Well Fluttershy and Sunset, I'd be lying if I said I was gonna miss you both, so I'm not going to." Toad threw both of them parachutes as they both got up and walked toward the exit.

"You will regret this decision." Sunset said glaring at the changeling queen.

As soon as they were out of sight the door closed.

Unknown to them, Sunset turned to Fluttershy holding her forehooves out and Fluttershy did the same and both of them hug each other.

Confessional

Mimi: It was so easy, I just disguised myself as Fluttershy and told that little dragon to vote me off. It's a shame he didn't even see me through the disguise.

Applejack: How did I not see this? I knew I should've voted for Mimi. I guess I lost track of time getting this squid ink off.

Spike: I don't understand. Why was Fluttershy sad to leave even though she asked me to vote for her? That's strange. What did I not see?

Chrysalis: Finally! My revenge on Fluttershy is complete. She's finally out of the game! I've been waiting for this moment to come and it finally came. Now with her out of the way, it's time to put my other plan into action.

"Two more have been eliminated, but these players are in for a very rude awakening tomorrow because there's a surprise in for the teams. What will it be? Even I don't know! All I know is you don't want to miss what's going to happen next time right here on... Toadal Pony Worldwide Tour!" Toad finished.

Yikes what a shocker. Fluttershy has been eliminated from the game and Sunset too? Yeah, I already know people are say she's been robbed. Lately I've been watching season one of Disventure Camp and that's what also inspired me for this story. I might recommend checking it out if you haven't heard or seen it yet. It's really good!
