As Luz and Amity were at the Blight Manor, Hunter had gone with Willow to a cave out in the middle of nowhere.
"This cave does not look naturally made," said Willow.
"I'd say so," said Hunter as the two walked into a lab that had what looked like graves all over it.
"This is one of Belos's old labs," said Willow while looking at a journal that was sitting out on a table against one of the cave walls. In it were notes on different glyph combinations and other things.
"Meaning this is where he created the Grimwalkers," said Hunter as he looked at the book with a hate filled expression.
"That's correct," came a voice from behind them.
"It can't be!" said Hunter while turning to see ghostly versions of the Golden Guard appearing before them. Waffle and Clover had turned into their staff forms in response to their appearance.
"What do you want?" asked Willow who Hunter had put behind him.
"To thank Hunter for what he has done," said one guard.
"You helped get rid of Philip and made a life for yourself here in the Boiling Isles, breaking the chain that connected all of us," said another.
"That's all things none of us could do," said a third.
"You're all welcome I guess, but how are you here talking to us right now?" asked Hunter who had not let his guard down at all.
"These stones gave our spirits the power to do so after they arrived here, we just had to wait for you to show up for the connection to be finished," said one guard who was not wearing any army as he motioned to his right.
"The pieces of the Titan's magic," said Willow as she noticed the ghosts pointing at five stones that rested on top of the graves.
"Take them, and remember that we're always with you, Hunter, as you are the only family we have left," said the armorless guard.
"I will, Caleb," said Hunter as all of the ghosts vanished.
"Are you alright?" asked Willow while she wiped away a couple of tears that were running down his cheeks.
"Yeah, I'm just happy that they can move on now," said Hunter with a big smile.
